We have a group chat and they constantly insult each other. They tell each other to "shut up" and to "f**k off" and they are always bickering about something. They are always teasing each other about something or throwing stuff sometimes Yet at other times, they laugh with each other, they make each other laugh just like they're best friends. Now one day when we were waiting to order and get fitted for our Hospitality uniforms, Alex said a death threat to me. Tony, Alex and I were sitting at the same table. Alex said "kill Cassie Paulin" and I looked at Tony and asked him what Alex had said in a sarcastic voice. Tony said "ohh it was nothing". And it kinda seemed like Tony was smileling about it. Tony never even got mad at Alex. To me it seems like Tony wanted me dead as well because he never stood up for me and he lied about what Alex said. Whether Alex was saying the death threat as a joke or not, it was still wrong of Tony not sticking up for me. Now Tonys friend Dylan thinks that Tony shouldn't have to stick up for me when someone is being mean to me and being harsh full to me. Isn'the there a difference between just generally being a bully and being a harsh full bully. I mean harsh full as in those people who make death threats. Tony only knew Alex for a year when he said that death threat. Dylan thinks that Tony doesn't have to stick up for me when death threats are involved. Is Dylan right? |

But I ve been put into a whole new school and the friends I have I feel like I m forced to be with because I have no other option. I hate the school. Even on halloween night, I ve been ditched and rejected so I m alone. I only see my old friends once a month if I m lucky. If I complain about my school or anything to my parents, they say I am not trying hard enough. I really really try to be kind and optimistic about the situation but I don t think it could get any worse. Help? |

I have never had that, I want a "girl" friend really bad. Someone who could give me dating advice and who actually smells good for once. I know I can be pretty quiet sometimes but I feel nervous and awkward sometimes because I feel that everybody has their set of friends already. They would probably think I am weird if I just sit at their lab table or something and give me looks. And sometimes I feel like there are girls who want to talk to me, but whenever I see them outside of class they act like I'm not there and never say hi? They never ask me for phone numbers, snap chat, twitter, or anything. They talk to me first in class sometimes and that makes me happy. I feel like in every class there is always some other guy that they go to talk to instead of me and it hurts. I just dont want to live life with out a real "girl" friend that really wants me around? Group A I am close with, we vent with each other and chill whenever we can, 3 of us have goals for the future and are pursuing, the other 3 are just working & at school. Group B doesn't have much goals, they are quite the drama type and tend to talk trash about each other, I try not to hang with them. Heres the thing, one of them used to be my closest friend, but he's always been selfish, and nows he being selfish towards me, over the summer he tried using me for a ride to the club with a bunch of people, I didn't wanna go (I dont go to bars or drink) and he embarrassed me in front of every1 saying that I dont wanna get with girls, I should've left and cut all ties with him but I didn't. He hasn't done anything since, but recently he's been acting weird, he's still in group B talking trash about each other, & he was being selfish about my 21st bday, like its his birthday, being selfish, I told some of the group A friends that I'm done w the selfishness, if he ticks me off one more time, I'm officially done. Do you think its a good idea to just stop associating? Group A does, I haven't talked to B in a while tbh, I only do when I ask them to play sports, I dont ever have drama in my life, but whenever I'm feeling down I feel like its bc of THEM. Two of them and I met at the university on Friday morning and arranged the details, but neither of us contacted the fourth one and vice versa, so only the three of us went to the club. The next day, my friend, with whom we've been friends for 7 years and I've known a lot more than the other two, and I had an argument about that incident. He said that he generally feels left out and that this incident was the cherry on the top and that he forgot about the appointment, so he expected us (and me in particular as we are better friends) to call him. I told him that it was not deliberate that only the three of us went to the club and it's not that I forgot to call him because I didn't want him to come, but because I felt that the invitation was there and he should call if he wanted to come. Since he didn't contact us, maybe he was not interested or had arranged something else (he is not a big fan of clubs and dancing btw). We hang up the Skype call in an awkward way and our relationship is a bit cold now. How should I proceed? |

What I didn't invite her to was a lunch and facial that another one of my friends had invited to me to... She sent me a huge text about how I am a bad friend and how she was bummed about me excluding her. I apologized and moved on. Last night I looked on social media and saw her and a few of her friends going to this huge party which I had no idea about. I texted her saying "are you going to a party?" Then she replies an hour later (keep in mind this is at like 10:00 pm) yea I'm at this party you should come! I know she invited me but she never mentioned a word about it and I had to basically ask for an invite... She is my best friend, why wouldn't she just invite me? Why would she say that Im excluding her when it's really the other way around? She would be so mad at me if I did that to her. Should I say something? |

My goal was to troll all the ppl I hated but then I ended up catfishing someone. I started talking to her on my fake profile and then we ended up dating. About a week later, it was the last week of school, so the day before the last day of school she waa questioning me because she became suspicuos about my profile and then I told her whoI really was.. I was expecting her to be happy like i saw on disney or something but she was really mad. i felt really sick. she told me never to talk to he, and I begged her not to tell anyone, she agreed. Next day at lunch, she sits 1 lunch table to the left , she told all her friends and they were shocked, laughing, i was scared and wantedto just leave I knew i desserved this for what I did....but after she exposed me to the school.. it ruined me 8th grade I became the quiet kid. i cant comomunicate with anyone, i have ZERO confidence. I get very anxious in social interactions. I am a guy who just realized that I'm really really addicted to video games. I need help and some serious help. I have above alright grades in school, but if I do my homework or read to an exam or whatever, I just lose interest in that and start to watch YouTube videos, or start to play. I have friends, but they aren't real friends I realized. They are my friends at school, but otherwise they wouldn't give a single **** about if I would disappear from this world. I hadn't ever chatted with him before like that, and I was shocked afterwards. It made me want to quit the game when I realized the Push-to-talk function didn't even work. And this feeling makes me depressed, and I want to quit the game. Is it weird if I say to him that I'm going to quit, since we just talked online? To be honest I didn't enjoy it at all. TL;DR I'm video game addicted, have no real friends especially since I live pretty far from everyone else. At first I didn't mind but now I do. Around 15, I moved to the USA and I go back to my home country every summer and winter break for a couple of weeks. When I'm there, I go out with my girlfriends and she ALWAYS asks me to borrow something. I always tell myself '' okay, this vacation I will simply reject her nicely'' but I always end up giving in and I'm pissing myself off.I sometimes drop hints like ''oh, that's in the washer'' or ''I didn't bring that'' and she always acts like she doesn't get it ! She'll say something like: ''oh, can I borrow this then?'' I understand that I live in a richer country and have nicer clothes and all that but she is very well off herself.I lent her a very expensive dress this past summer and someone saw her spill a cocktail on her hand and then wipe it off my dress! I was furious at this point but I know I'll give her something again when I go back in December. What can I say to gently let her know that I will not be giving her anymore clothes? Please don't tell me I should just tell her no because real life situations call for a bit more understanding. How can I be firm and nice about it at the same time so she won't get upset. Keep in mind that I've known and loved this girl for a very long time!P.S When we were younger, she borrowed (literally) around 15 items from me and it took a full year for me to get them all back. For example, I like sitting at home and watch series on most days. She prefers going out on most days, so she basically keeps telling me "I m so boring" and I need to "go out more." It s not that I don t go out at all, I mostly only go out on weekends but would rather stay in on weekdays. So, I confronted her a few days ago and I asked her why she thinks people should be like her. Everyone s different so she should just let me be. She responded by saying, and I quote "Why do you think you re better than people? Do you even like anyone you re friends with? You seem to have a problem with everyone you know." I don t know how this is relevant and why she would think that I would think I m better than people. I guess she just wanted to hurt me. Anyway, then she kept talking about how she doesn t think everyone should be like her, bla bla bla and ever since that day, she hasn t spoken to me. During school I usually just roam from group to group and people seems to like me. | Question: A close friend keeps asking to borrow my clothes? Edit? Posted: 31 Oct 2015 11:33 AM PDT I'm 19 and she's 20.Ever since our early teen years she had been borrowing my clothes. At first I didn't mind but now I do. Around 15, I moved to the USA and I go back to my home country every summer and winter break for a couple of weeks. When I'm there, I go out with my girlfriends and she ALWAYS asks me to borrow something. I always tell myself '' okay, this vacation I will simply reject her nicely'' but I always end up giving in and I'm pissing myself off.I sometimes drop hints like ''oh, that's in the washer'' or ''I didn't bring that'' and she always acts like she doesn't get it ! She'll say something like: ''oh, can I borrow this then?'' I understand that I live in a richer country and have nicer clothes and all that but she is very well off herself.I lent her a very expensive dress this past summer and someone saw her spill a cocktail on her hand and then wipe it off my dress! I was furious at this point but I know I'll give her something again when I go back in December. What can I say to gently let her know that I will not be giving her anymore clothes? Please don't tell me I should just tell her no because real life situations call for a bit more understanding. How can I be firm and nice about it at the same time so she won't get upset. Keep in mind that I've known and loved this girl for a very long time!P.S When we were younger, she borrowed (literally) around 15 items from me and it took a full year for me to get them all back. She always had an excuse. |

I was wondering if I should write them a thank you note for welcoming me into their home for the first time. And should I give it to the people personally or give it to the friend to give to their family for me. | Question: Have you ever gone to a big public event alone? Posted: 31 Oct 2015 11:23 AM PDT I live in a major city and every year we have a major "carnivale" on a main street here: basically it's just an excuse to walk around a few blocks and see literally hundreds of thousands of people in costume. I just like seeing costumes. The last 10 years I've been lucky enough to go w/ friends almost every year, but this year I don't have plans. But I'm still going alone. I'll wear a mask so no one sees my face. I'm curious what other people think of this lol? Would you do this? Do you think it's ok? A few years ago I also had no plans, and wasn't even willing to go alone. But w/ all these good years under my belt, I don't feel self-conscious "going alone" anymore. I'm like: Who cares? I'm secure! |

My story has always been not private meaning people who aren't accepted by me can see it. So I see that my friend would see my stories. Well she snapped me and I snapped back an forward for a while. But now this person in not on my "added me" section anymore and they used to be.. Did it automatically add them by snapping them back? Because they are on my friend list but it's been days and I have not seen their stories posted. And I know for a fact that they have posted stories? Any help? |

I keep getting ignored b everyone around me. Ever time I say something it's always is being put down. Even though it's all getting to me and I wan't to complain and cry, I can't. The only person who actually can tell I am upset is my friend, well best-friend as she puts it, who was my girlfriend a last month and randomly broke up with me right around the time I was starting to feel low. Even though I'm in high school and I tell myself not to worry about it, it gets worse almost every day. My best-friend who broke up with me told me that her feelings have changed but I can't tell because she still acts the same as she always do around me. In fact, she talks about a lot with me, even sex. I am confused right now. I don't know why I can't fit in or rather nobody listens to me. I try starting conversations people and they speak back but when I go to talk back they just stop paying attention and turn their attention to something else. This happens with everyone I try to talk to. It makes upset and nobody sees except for my best friend who bugs me to her what's wrong. I tell her sometimes but I choose not to because I know that she's going through some things herself and gets overloaded with random people's problems. Even I get upset, I still try and help the people that come to me with their problems out. What do I do? What did I do for her to just drop me randomly, not asking because I'm upset? Why do people ignore when I try talking? Apparently I'm a nice because I don't do anything, So why do I feel so bad and keep getting treated like trash or not even there? |

I've caught him staring at me in class many times and sometimes he waits after class to open the door for me… I'd only talked to him very briefly a couple of times to ask him about school stuff. Then I asked him if he was working through halloween and he replied with probably….why!? and I realized he might be thinking I was going to ask him to do something for Halloween. | Question: Why don't I have any girlfriends? Posted: 31 Oct 2015 10:15 AM PDT All my other friends have girls that are just friends and they talk all the time. I have never had that, I want a "girl" friend really bad. Someone who could give me dating advice and who actually smells good for once. I know I can be pretty quiet sometimes but I feel nervous and awkward sometimes because I feel that everybody has their set of friends already. They would probably think I am weird if I just sit at their lab table or something and give me looks. And sometimes I feel like there are girls who want to talk to me, but whenever I see them outside of class they act like I'm not there and never say hi? They never ask me for phone numbers, snap chat, twitter, or anything. They talk to me first in class sometimes and that makes me happy. I feel like in every class there is always some other guy that they go to talk to instead of me and it hurts. I just dont want to live life with out a real "girl" friend that really wants me around? Maybe its because I'm not good at having conversation with girls? I always forget about what I want to talk about IM SO STUPID! They dont really carry the conversation which I hate. I dont know why this is such a problem for me :( |

Then today i was walking back to class cuz we had went to the library and the whole way back she followed like right behind me. She never said anything to me. Yesterday I was telling a friend about this and he kept looking over at her she noticed and said what but she wasn't looking at him she was looking at me. I never used her name the whole conversation so there was no way she would have known who i was talking about. I have caught her looking at me durring class a lot before. The only time we really talked was for a class game and it was awkward when she had to talk to me for those few minutes. She would play with her hair and swing her leg from side to side. We dont really talk or anything. She texts someone on her phone a lot it seems I don't know if that means anything. This starring or watching as been going on for like a few weeks now. |
| Posted: 31 Oct 2015 10:01 AM PDT So, basically the situation is that this girl is staying with us; her family has known mine for a long time, and since the girl's mother passed away recently, my mom offered to take her in with us for a while until her dad sorts out everything with her mother dying and all. The problem is that I know this girl. I've known her since I was like 2. Putting the smallest amount of detail as possible, we used to be best friends, but when we were 14, I started developing feelings for her. I didn't tell her until like a year later. I was way too naive and optimistic about the entire thing, because I did tell her, and she reacted the exact way I feared she would. She hated me so much. In exact wording, she told me that "even if I were a dyke, I'd never fall for you" and then she started bullying me at school with this group of girls. It was terrible. I was so crushed I ended up changing schools. I swore to myself I would never forgive her, and now, here she is in my house acting all sad that her mom passed away. Yes, I feel terrible but after everything she put me through I doubt I should be sympathetic. She keeps on trying to talk to me and hang out with me, like she's forgotten what happened, even though it's only been 3 years. She even had the audacity to try and hug me at her mother's funeral! It's unbelievable. How do I convince my parents to kick her out? |

I mean she's one of my closest friends in our little group of friends. Lately things have changed between us. She has gotten mad at me for small things that don't even have the reason to be arguments. For example she got mad at me because I was talking to her crush. I mean I don't even like the fella and we don't even flirt. We're just friends. I mean another of her friends kissed him and she didn't get mad. She kept acting fine with that girl. But with me she gets all quiet and angry. She even goes behind my back telling my other friends that she needs to watch her back and that I'm stealing him.Another thing that she's gotten mad is that she hates it when people tease her back. She in our group always makes jokes about us and we don't get mad at all. I feel like she is a hypocrite about it. I mean if you don't like people joking about you than don't joke about other people. So now she won't talk to me because of it. She even has texted my best friend saying horrible things about me. Like is she even worth the friendship at all?
