Question: Is it disrespectful for a married person to have opposite gender friends? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 08:18 PM PDT I think it's disrespectful and wrong because that married person already belongs to someone else.Just because it's 2015 doesn't make more okay for a married person to have opposite gender friends. If it wasn't okay in 1815 for a married person to have opposite gender friends, why is it okay now?I am a married 47 year old man and while me and my wife separated,I would never become friends with a woman while married because it's wrong.Married people should be keep distance from non family members of the opposite gender. It has little to do with possibly developing feelings but it's more about having respect.I would never talk to a woman about anything that isn't about business stuff.I keep things strictly professional with woman that isn't family members because it's called having respect for my marriage(tho me and my wife have separated). It might be okay for a married person to have mere acquaintances of the opposite gender but even then acquaintances could become friends unless contact is extremely limited and distant(like once or twice per year).Limiting friends to strictly the same gender after marriage is the right thing to do because there's much less stress, much less jealously and much less of a chance of a spouse cheating on their husband/wife.I do believe in trust but I don't believe in blind trust.Do you think it's disrespectful for a married person to have friends of the opposite gender? |

Question: How do I overcome grieving? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 07:23 PM PDT Unfortunately my daughter was killed in a car crash last month, only 3 days after her 16th birthday. My husband thinks it's time to clean out her room, but honestly i'm not ready. Every time I go in her room I am reminded of what I've lost. I can't even go in her room for 5 seconds without wanting to throw up & break into tears. We were inseparable & I feel like if I were get rid of her things I'm erasing a part of her that I can never get back. My husband has volunteered to clean it out by himself, but I feel like he has no right to go through her things considering he isn't her biological father. I feel like a horrible person for saying that but i'm just not ready to let go...how do I let go? |
Posted: 16 Oct 2015 07:20 PM PDT My boyfriend and I have been talking about marriage. Long story short my feelings about marriage have been a roller coaster. I get EXTREME anxiety over thinking about marriage sometimes, and other times I love the idea. My anxiety is too much to handle, and when I have it I avoid it at ALL costs... even if it's lashing out at my boyfriend and begging him to not ask me. I have NO idea how I got this way, but this is just how it is for me. I'm just not the marriage type, I guess. The only reason I can think of is I HATE HATE HATE change! Growing up I had REALLY BAD emotional break downs when I changed from going to elementary to middle school and middle school to high school. I just can't handle change well. I avoid it if at all possible. Marriage would change EVERYTHING, and I can't handle the thought of it. I love him so much, but I just can't make that commitment. HELP!? What should I do!? I don't believe in "my other half." I'm a full person on my own. I AM ready for marriage, it's just I need this anxiety to go away. I see no point in convulsing. It doesn't work for me. *counseling sorry can't type today Wow you are ignorant Mary! I reported you. Counseling doesn't work for me! Can someone PLEASE give me a GOOD answer!? **** you Marry! Question: Please answer this question for me? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 06:24 PM PDT please rate these women from 1-10 in this order (the curly blonde, the dark haired and the blonde with the black shirt). I will answer your question if you leave a link as well. Thanks http://s1082.photobucket.com/user/kfccruelty/media/pics%20w%20bill/qa4nj4itpz_147258977-2_zps1ed51bc5.jpg.html it is actually 3 different women. can you please rate them all. thanks |
Posted: 16 Oct 2015 05:47 PM PDT With all due respect to women, but it's obvious that men are in general better at being head o f the family, because when men are in charge, they use logic and reason to make decisions, which leads to more successful outcomes. Women, however, are more prone to using emotions and feelings, which can be misleading which can cause a lot of troubles and more drama. This is my opinion honestly... PS: This applies to "marriage" only though, different circumstances might necessitate different requirements. |
Posted: 16 Oct 2015 04:55 PM PDT Is it true that a couple should NOT get married prior to becoming 100% comfortable with each other's bodily functions? Bodily functions such as farting long and loudly, urinating, defecating on the toilet in front of one's significant other... Should you let your partner hear you fart, smell your fart or see you going number two with an open bathroom door BEFORE you get married or should you wait until you are already married? |
Question: I have a LOT of vaginal discharge? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 04:09 PM PDT I ve been having a LOT of vaginal discharge pretty much since I ve gotten my first period, which was around 3 years ago. I started on birth control pills to help regulate my period about 7 months ago. My gynecologist said that this should also help with my discharge problem but it didn t. I never get a period due to the pills so the discharge isn t heavier during any particular part of the month. I am sexually active but I don t think this has anything to do with my problem since I ve been having a ton of discharge wayyyy before I even thought about having sex. My discharge is usually really yellow but it doesn t really have much of a smell unless you make an effort to smell it. When you do that, it smells a little bit fishy. I don t generally itch down there and it s not red or swollen. Keep in mind, this has been going on for 3 years so I doubt I have any type of infection. What s wrong with me and is there anything I can do about it??? Please help! |
Question: Do you think its wrong for a married man? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 01:23 PM PDT who drives a very nice truck...to turn heads is wrong? What about when he flirts with women subtly...like follows them around or pretends he is something he is not...and keeps talking to them and following them around...like when they go in the house, he follows, they sit on the other side and he goes...everytime he says a joke, he stares at them to see if they are watching...ect...this guy is always checking out other women when he is married, even in the rear view mirrors of his truck when they pass by....cheater or not? He watches porn when his wife is not around and lies about it...when she doesnt care if he watches porn. She watches it, too. He doesnt buy his lovely wife birthday presents or christmas presents or anything...he tells her to pick herself up something. He quit his job and wants his wife to pay for his truck and the bills because he is looking for the perfect job....when he makes more money than her. |
Posted: 16 Oct 2015 01:11 PM PDT To my haters: I promised myself I would quit Yahoo! Answers when my points fell below my birth year. I plan on reaching that low score before I leave work today so I don't have to deal with the abuse any more and I can let go of ANOTHER community that rejected me. After today, you will not see a question from UnderValued any more. I feel like a black person at a KKK meeting... But about my question: If me and my equally egotistical wife gave up power/control, do you think this marriage could figure out a way to work WITHOUT religion and WITHOUT counseling? Why or why not? Just hit under 1982 points. I'd say it's been fun Yahoo! Answers Community, but it hasn't. I have never associated with a more hateful group of people than all of you in Marriage & Divorce section. Enjoy telling everyone their life sucks, their beliefs suck, their dreams suck, their goals suck, and them as a person sucks. But at the end of the day - you're the only person who sucks. I'm not just going because you all are jerks, I'm going because I realize that majority rules; and since I'm a minority, it only makes sense I'd be chased out of here. Take care everyone. |
Question: White watery discharge? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 11:27 AM PDT I get crazy amount of discharge that is white, liquidy like water sometimes. This happened to me today a lot, and i'm wonder if it's because i'm ovulating because based on my period calendar (which i just started keeping from last month), i'm supposed to be ovulating right now. Have you had this happen to you? This happened to me many times, and another time i can remember was when i was ovulating as well. But this could also be bacterial vaginosis right? How can i tell the difference? I don't have any other symptoms, except for slight cramps and slight breast tenderness which i read could also be due to ovulation. I'm going to see a doctor soon but I don't want to be prescribed antibiotics "just in case" you know, which i have a couple times before with that reasoning. |
Question: What do you think when a husband signs up with a website such as lonelyhousewives. Com? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 10:56 AM PDT Didn t complete the profile, no pic posted but has a username and password. This was found out by searching the history on his phone. When I followed the link the username and password popped up so all I had to do was push send and I was inside his profile. Like I said not completed, no pic or anything but has done enough to have a username and password. He swears it was just pop ups but I know better. I am hurt, heartbroken and rethinking out marriage of 13 years. (Been together for 18) Don t know what to make of this. I m only 37. It s like a slap in the face but at the same time nothing was done. |
Question: Feeling very guilty leaving my emotionally dependent husband soon. What should I do? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 10:33 AM PDT I have been with my husband for 5 years. He had his life in order when we were dating and right after we got married he "quit working normal everyday jobs to chase his dreams in music and composition". I had dreams too but had to put them on hold and be the rational one with balance. He refused to work normal 9-5 jobs because they were "below him, due to his education". I then find out later that his family had been sending him money and support until age 30? I tried to get him into marriage counseling and he declined. Eventually, my love for him just faded and I look at him as a younger brother, The reason why I am afraid to leave is due to the fact he tried to kill himself in college when his g/f left him. I am afraid he will do the same when I leave. I want kids and a normal life that includes a man that wants to be responsible. Right now he is working temp jobs so he can constantly go on UC benefits and "work on his music". Sometimes I feel used and trapped. PS I think he knows I'm want out. He is acting like he has his sh** together all the sudden and is being super nice. (while waiting to go on Unemployment) I cant imagine raising a kid on our income and due to the way we live) I just don't care for him that way anymore. His parents also expect me to support him and look at him like is God. What should I do? Btw I forgot to mention that one of the many fights weve had was over having a baby. I really want a family and now he states he wants one. He fought me over for years and dislikes children. I highly doubt it he has really changed. He isn't looking for permanent work and only working jobs 90 days at a time. Sometimes I feel he wants to be Mr Mom and stay at home so "he can watch youtube and work on his music". |
Question: What should I do about my wife? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 10:26 AM PDT I've only been married 2 weeks and she already wants a divorce. She said I'm to small and can't satisfy her in bed. What can I do to save my marriage? |
Question: What is the right age to get married? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 10:19 AM PDT Well I am gay and I am 36, well I am quite attractive and there is many girls liking me, but of course I never slept with a girl or had a gf before. I have told people I will never marry a women and have a wife and I don't want kids. What do you think is the age people should stop having kids even if you don't have kids. I have read online that for guys after 35 years old, they should not have kids. Then why is it some 70 years old guy would have kids? I presume they are rich and when the guy dies, the money is passed on to the women who have kids? I even saw some 40-50 years old guy marry and have kids. So do you think guys should not have kids after a certain age. For myself, I am gay and told people I would never marry a girl and have kids and I have told people I may marry a guy one day. planner: though I am gay, it is indeed nice to hear some true love story, good for you, sorry about your husband's death. Happy-2: I don't find anything wrong about gay people to understand relationships between male and female. Happy-2 : I personally have given relationship advice to people in relationship that is between man and women and they say my advice is good. Just because I am gay doesn't means I should not know how male and female relationship works. |
Question: I had an emotional affair 3 years ago and my husband is giving me a pass to cheat on him? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 09:52 AM PDT We were married for 9 years until I had an emotional affair with a younger guy. My husband and I divorced but we got back together several months later. The other guy is completely out of the picture. However, he's telling me that if I want to hook up with anyone, he is okay with it. He's telling me this because he wants me to be happy. Hooking up is not my thing because I have to have a strong feelings in order to have sex with anyone. Why is my husband saying these things? I have been remorsefulof my past mistake and I love him dearly. But why would he even bring this up? We have been remarried for 3 years now and have two children. |
Question: I think something wrong with me sex life.? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 09:35 AM PDT about me, I am 23 and my wife is 25. I am convinced something in my sex life is wrong.. It could be because of a number of reasons, but a few situations in my early childhood could have effected me. For starters... I can not last long during sex at all. I am not sure if its super satisfying for my wife. I can only last less than 5 minutes. After that, after I am finished I get a sense of guilt- especially if I was masturbating. Maybe even a hint of anxiety. Sex and a naked woman is not longer interesting to me. Even if I wanted to try to go a second round, I wouldnt be turned on. and to sum it up, last thing that gives me stress about sex is I am not ready for a child and even though we do a lot to prevent a pregnancy, I get nervous during sex about that. What type of person would I look into to talk to if i wanted to |

Posted: 16 Oct 2015 08:04 AM PDT My husband is taking lexapro and can t have an orgasm with me, only if he masterbastes to porn. I told him maybe it s the lexapro but he doesn t think it is becase he can have one while masterbating. Should I be offended by this? It hurts my feelings. No but he insists it's not the lexapro becase he can have one while he masterbates, implying that its something i'm doing. |
Question: My husband want to have a babie so bad? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 07:35 AM PDT it's been 3months since we got married and he already wantts a babie.. he says "let's make a babie" almost 5 times a day -_- and it's really pissing me off he used to say it when we were dating but i thought he was joking because i refused to have sex with him till w get married and i did... i also told him before we get married that i won't have a kid till i at least finish my 3 years in collage or till i have a stable job and he said ok ....his the only one who's working and having a babie will make the life financially hard for us and the for the babie ...i don't want him to suffer because his dad is in a hurry... i understand that my husband didn't really have a normal family life (it was a hot mess) so he want his own ...but god i'm 21 and his 23 i feel like i'm too young and stupid for a kid i'm not ready to be a mom... i still want to live my life with him young and free and it will also give us the chance to know each other even more because u know dating is not like marriage some stuff change ..... i really really love him to death but i don't feel like giving him his dream son is something i can't do right now what should i do to convince him i can't stand this anymore!! Posted: 16 Oct 2015 07:07 AM PDT I'm appalled they have Chloe Kardashian making the final decision for Lamar. This is scary a spouse who is separated can make a decision like this. Most separated couples are no longer in love, and many times hate each other. I'm sure there have been cases where the one spouse says just pull the plug because of their hatred. |
Question: How to deal with husband who refuses to clean up after himself?? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 07:02 AM PDT I keep the house really clean and my husband was gone for a month. The house stayed so clean, it was awesome. Then he came back and he leaves dishes in the sink, in the bathroom, in the living room. He leaves papers everywhere. It's like the house hasn't been cleaned in a year. I clean it up and the next day it's back to looking horrible. I ask him to clean it up and he says "i'll get to it" but getting to it means three days later and by then it's even worse. It drives me nuts and it has gotten worse and worse. I do not like coming home from work and having to clean the house. He literally will spill something and leave it there. Recently I stopped cleaning up after him. I just was tired of it, so I'd let it go. But it's now been about one week and the house looks so bad that I want to cry. I'm embarrassed to have people over. He wasn't a slob when I met him but now he's a slob. How to get this behavior to stop! |
Question: Secret savings, or the truth? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 06:30 AM PDT My husband and I share our income- we put it all in a box and divided as the month goes by on necessities and such. Should I set up a secret savings account with the extra money, or should I tell him about it and risk having it all spent? Advice? |

Question: My wife shaved her head? Posted: 16 Oct 2015 01:24 AM PDT Me and my wife have been together for 8 years. When I met her she had a really short pixie haircut and had her hair that way until we started dating. Once we started dating she didn't cut her hair anymore, and it grew down to her knees. Today she came home from spending time with her friend, and her head was completely shaved! She smiled and said she just needed a change in hairstyle. We never discussed it beforehand at all and she didn't warn me. What should I do? |
Posted: 16 Oct 2015 01:23 AM PDT Just to know more about him. I observe his every move when he is around so I can find out more about his habits. I know where he parks and I am thinking about following him so I can find out where he works. I know I shouldn't go that far but this is borderline insanity. I'm afraid to tell my husband. He'll find out I really need mental help. I've stalked ex boyfriends in the past and I'm worried this man might become might next victim. Should I just seek mental help? I am not an ugly person so I don't think he'll shut me down... But my behavior bothers me and I can't help it. |
Posted: 15 Oct 2015 10:47 PM PDT I'll give him spending money, he goes to Atm withdrawal some of this cash and says I have no right to ask him what he is doing with it, since I gave it to him. Is that right? |

Question: Am I being unreasonable: "Small" argument with husband? Posted: 15 Oct 2015 08:37 PM PDT I had an 11 hour day at school with 1 exam, 2 quizzes, 4 classes one of which is a 3 hour lab. I'm tired. I'm hungry and I'm trying to finish up some homework due at midnight (2 hours away). My husband asked if I wanted him to heat up some dinner for me but I declined since I didn't know when I'd be done working. I finished my work and go out to heat food. Usually he's already eaten dinner, but he comes out and starts whining for me to heat him up some food for him (like, "plleeeease, can you pleeease make some for me?"). I tell him no (I always make food for him so I think he can handle it on his own one time since he knows how tired I am). Then he proceeds to try to pick at the chicken I heated for myself telling me I should share when there is plenty of it left over. He tells me I should share my piece because it's a good piece of chicken (there are other pieces just like it) and he didn't have any before (neither did I). I'm frustratingly trying to tell him how he was being selfish and he tells me to "calm down" and I get "too emotional". This obviously makes me more angry because.. really? Really? I wasn't even yelling and had only a frustrated (not even fully angry) tone, but according to him I'm "berating" him. What the hell. Someone please tell me if I'm going insane or if he is acting ridiculous? |
