Posted: 18 Oct 2015 05:06 PM PDT Okay so my boyfriend and i have been together for 4 years now and we have a 1 year old daughter together and he has changed so much ever sinc we started a family he has taken everything serious,just recently he told me that he doesnt want me hanging out wif my best friends any more cause their bad influence and he doesnt like them at all. He said he changed just to make me happy and now he want me to changr for hin.He doesnt want me walking shopping around town wif them or meeting up with at all. He says just wants me to go to work then come straight home. I do agreewith him that i should stop seeing my best friends because they are all single and they dont take relationships seriously and they wont be the one to take care o help me with my family. Give me your opinion on how you would handle such situations in choosing your fiancee or bffs. |

I have a good handful of friends, some of them went while others didn't, and I was one who didn't. It seems a lot of fun, but I just really didn't see the point in going. I can always hang out with my friends outside, and I just didn't see the point in having to pay for hanging out with my friends. Am I missing out on highschool experience? I just rather wanted to stay home, relax and just watch some tv. I know I sound like an extreme loner but I just really didn't see the point. They showed pictures but I didn t show them anything, I even said myself, "Ill never turn in my friends so i cant let you know anything" in a respectful manner. Ive always been down to do time for my friends I even saved them from a case and took the whole charges, but I said I gave it for free to this one girl because that ***** ******* snitched on me one time and got me suspended. When they asked about where it was from I gave false info and made up a name that I got it from, I called him green. The plug that put me on texted me during interrogation and unfortunately his name was purple. The cop said, "whos this, his name is purple and your plug is named green lol" Then all I said was, " They re just friends but he doesn t have anything to do with it". I regret what I said I didn t know I had the right to stay silent I was too mentally young. I can never accept myself being a snitch, so many people ****** me over and snitched on me and I hate snitches, I never wanted to do any harm I was just doing my thing. Am I a snitch? If he feels incompetent, he leaves etc. This happens to numerous different schools up to mine. He's the social media type of guy who posts it religiously until he quits the thing he does that is.. Stating this it's his life's calling and he'll travel to said which ever country the martial art is from. He always talked of going amateur and such when he reached my school eventually but got fed up and left 6 months in with ,'' going to do other things because I'm fed up with the teacher.'' as he stated. I decided to state my opinion, '' All that talk about going amateur, idk man it just felt empty to me. You just quit one day because you got fed up with the teacher? He's pushing you because you said you wanted to fight. Good luck in your other hobbies though'' He gets mad and calls me inconsiderate and judging with cussing. I check his profile, and it's now all about dancing with passive aggressive comments towards me. I just went to myself, ''screw it.'' and goes quiet for weeks. I text him yesterday because a friend from the gym he used to go too mom's just passed and said he should message him to pay his respects. He responds, but with more reasons on why,'' I'm wrong '' I go to work and ignore. He texts me today more basically on negative stuff and he's done with being a friend. I dont understand why, she goes on how she is so close with random guys for hours and how she helps them with their problems. I dont really care about what she does with them, but it gets annoying when she complains just to make the point that shes close to so many guys. So I got my tonsils out in the beginning of June so I wasn't at the community pool like I usually was with Jen and her step sister (Lets call her Alexandria). So that week or two I refused to leave the house. But when I got back on the saddle I had found out Jen had gotten and lost a boyfriend named Jack. Anyway we saw him maybe a week after the breakup. First time I ever met him. So then by the 20th of June (estimation) they were back together. So it was all okay for like 2 weeks then he started, venting to me. PART 1/2 OR MAYBE 3 PART 2 About how he was a back up ***** and all of this other sappy **** that I didnt give a **** about. Now its mid-July and this is the first July. Now he is coming over for the first time. ****. Apparently he was told no matter what he is welcome here. In our private community that we pay $310 a month for. PART 3 So now its August 13th the first day of school.He has been coming everyday since like July or whatever. Honestly he is my best friend at this point. So now lets fast forward to the camping trip. Its me, Jen, Jack, Alexandria, Jen and Alexandria's parents and Jen's brother and his friend. Well camping was labor day weekend. It kinda sucked when he was being an asshole but otherwise it was fun I guess. Part 4 So lets fast forward to their breakup. They broke up in the beginning of September? Im not really sure because doesnt a breakup involve being away from each other for two days at least.Well he never did and we escaped to Jean (a woman who will basically give us free therapy). Well forget the rest. Lets fast forward to October. I was hanging out with Alexandria and Jen and Jack showed up. Part 5 Well all Jen said was we were no longer friends. Well I believe an ultimatum was given and I didn't take lightly I WAS ******* PISSED. Now I am considering apologizing and talking to her but I dont want to be best friends like we were. We were so close even as adults. I was very close to her family. In the last few years, we went through some problems. We've worked it out before (broke down and cried at a friend's wedding when we saw each other after not talking for a few months) but last year, something happened between us and I felt like she didn't have my back. Something about what her newer best friend did to me. We haven't talked or seen each other in over a year. I always think about her and I miss her dearly even though she puts all her time into her "new" best friend. I just found out she got engaged last week. I went numb. This is something that we talked about a million times growing up. She was supposed to be there for me and I was supposed to be there for her during this time. I found out about the engagement through another friend. Even though we are adults (even though it doesnt seem like it lol), I don't know if I should send her a message with a congrats. Just these last couple of months she's been mad at me for weird things? We text at least once on a daily basis and she gets mad at me once a day!!! | Question: Why do I always feel like I have to be the best? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 12:23 PM PDT Bad english incoming. I always compete, with EVERYBODY. It applies to most areas om my life, especially social, and it's really bothering. When I'm out with friends, I feel i have to be the most fun and intersting person in the group. If we're out partying I have to be in the center and definetly, not for my own sake but for the "people", take home a super-hot girl. I have to be the best at my job, have the most friends and be the funniest, charming and basically best at anything. I often feel my biggest compeditor is my best friend for 5 years since high school who is very fun, interesting, popular and everybody is immediately drawn to him and likes him. What can I do? I know better and that this is not healthy or relevant thinking but it's always in the back of my head :/ |

I told her off so bad that she had nothing to say..my crush is being very mean about the way i spoke to her and saying crap about me making me out to be this bad person when i only replayed back..sometimes when i get mad instead of my crush taking my side he makes me out to be this bad person..I am probably one of the nicest people and have gotten bullied because of it in the past. and i will never change or sit there and let some girl treat me like **** just because he does not like it..He likes me and wants to be with me but he stalks me and would take someones else side instantly...Overall should you change who you are over a guy? |
| Question: Is my relationship with my vice principal normal? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 12:11 PM PDT Ok so we have nuns at my school. They leave and switch to different schools every amount of years. So anyways my vice principal came when I was in 5th grade. I had an instan connection. We talk all the time and stuff. I know I am one of her favorite students because she comes up to me and just talks to me. So anyway she is so so nice and I love her. She is the only one I trust. She is inspiring me to become a nun too. I am in 8th grade now and I will be gradation in June. I don't want to graduate because that means I won't see her anymore and she is one of my fav adults I like her better than my parents. But when she came in 5th grade that's when my parents got into fights and stuff and now they are getting a divorce so she is the only person I trust at the moment. I really want to see her after June but I will only see her like 3 times and that is when I visit the school after I leave. Is this kind of relationship normal?? Please answer. P.S. I don t particularly like Anna that much though. Sometimes she is fun and nice but not always. And it feels so forced almost every time we talk. And Anna is so fake sometimes and she talks behind people s backs a lot. Emma does that too sometimes, but not as much as Anna. Anna was my closest friend about a month ago, but not anymore. I don t know what has changed. Anna and Emma are both my best friends and Emma really likes Anna. So if I stop being friends with Anna I still need to be with her because she is with Emma. And I know some people will be like get new friends and stuff. But it s sooo hard at my school to get new friends. So what should I do? |
| Question: Struggling At College...? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 12:08 PM PDT Female freshman here, I'm at a small school in the South (I'm originally from the North) and I have only made 2-3 real friends. My roommate and I get along, but both of us are in the dorm a lot...not a lot to do on campus-most people leave on the weekends (they go home). I've been feeling this way for awhile. I've been doing the usual, keep your door open, just talk to people, etc, but it hasn't been working. Also, I've always wanted to join the military, and I am seriously considering dropping out and enlisting. I'm also planning on transferring for next year to a much biggger school. Any advice on how to survive the next semester and a half? Thanks |

Same school, same fraternity, same friends, same everything. There are about 5 of us, and for some reason I just feel unfilled and angry every time I'm with them. I feel as if I'm forcing myself to fit with them, just because of our history together. The issue is that I cannot think of a conceivable way to start to separate myself from them. Just not hanging out with them will not work, they are in just about every facet of my life. |
| Question: Friend got really protective? Posted: 18 Oct 2015 12:03 PM PDT So last week, I was at my friend Max's house, he had invited me and around 10 of our other friends over. We were all sitting in the dining room, playing cards, when I had a panic attack, (my parents were getting divorced and I have an anxiety disorder,) since Max has known me for like 10+ years, along with my friend Claire, they know how to calm me down, but this Girl Meg decided to grab my arms, which freaked me out even more because I've literally known her for a week. So Max and Claire shoved past Meg, helped calm me down, and everything was fine. But Max decided to carry me upstairs, (Yes, carry me, despite the fact I could've walked,) and said he thought being around so many people would stress me out more, and that it would be better if we stayed upstairs and watched TV. Ever since then, he's been oddly protective, it's just little things, like making sure I have a coat, taking things out of the oven for me, (me and my friend Claire like to bake, and Max likes to eat, LOL,) tried to convince me not to go on a roller coaster because he thought it was too dangerous, and got worried when I started coughing, (there's a lot of other things as well.) He's also been really mad st Meg, he hasn't been talking to her, and has been steering me away from her. I honestly have no idea what's gotten into him, he doesn't normally act like this, help? |

Posted: 18 Oct 2015 11:42 AM PDT My roommate talks bad behind my back to his friends and cousin (his drunk cousin told me everything) We are friends long before being roommates, he got a good job and wanted a friend to be his roommate. he told me all he going to charge me is 275 dollar which is 40 percent of the rent and water. he be will pay 60 percent and elc water. that's what he offer and I agree with it. the things he tells people is so mess up saying that he's(me) 30 years old, only makes XX.XX an hour and refuses to get a better job and he paying for everything and saying that I steal his food and soda (which isn't true at all I don't drink diet soda :/) he also tells every girl he's interested in that also. I'm never late on rent I also ask him about what his cousin told me, he gets nervous about it and tells me its not true your my friend. so on on |

She lives with her parents & is only responsible for paying her cell phone bill & car insurance. I'm not as fortunate. I live with 2 roommates, work 2 jobs & struggle to pay my bills. She's always telling me how bad she feels for my situation & how back in college I wasn't focused enough & didn't choose the right major for myself. (We did not attend the same college) She's constantly telling me how much she spends on clothing, shoes etc. & makes comments like she'd never shop at such "cheap" places like where I shop. When we go out to eat, she insists on sit down restaurants even when there are times I can't afford a sit down dinner. I'm not sure what to do? Her parents just paid for her $700 flight across country & for her to get a new car after she cracked up here. How do I handle this friend?? She acts like I'm beneath her |

Posted: 18 Oct 2015 10:38 AM PDT I have been friends with her since sixth grade when we met, we're both fourteen(she's older though) and in the ninth grade. We used to be cool or whatever, but in the seventh grade I moved to another county so we no longer go to the same school, but we continue to keep in touch. Though now she's getting on my last nerves and I have been slowly drifting out her life, she backhandedly insults me and thinks that I don't notice, and she copies me to the point of boiling rage. She tries to listen to the same music that I do, she starts saying quotes and phrases that I do, and she takes my ideas or either insults them because she can't come up with a better one. She has low self esteem and she's overweight(well obese) for her age and height, she continuously calls herself ugly all the time, but when I simply say I don't look my best in a picture she tells me to "Shut the f*ck up!" So I just haves been fed up with her, so I was on Kik and I changed my picture to the Kik logo I had from a screenshot and changed my Kik my to 'got another one' stating that I have made another, which I did. But the other day I had gotten back on it to see if anyone else had kiked me so I can give them my new kik(which I wasn't gonna give to her) so I scroll through my new messages and I see that she had kiked me my name in all caps. I ignored the text and replied to everyone else. So today I had gotten back on today to make sure I had no new messages, and I went and scrolled through my contacts and I saw her kik. She changed her name to 'New Kik' and turned her picture black. Idgaf about the fact that she "made a new kik", it's just so convenient that she does that right after me. I know she did it just to spite me, or see will I kik her and asks for her new kik. But I don't understand when does she have to copy me so much?! What's her problem? |

Guy#1 Went camping with a new friend that gave her 200.00 as a birthday gift-moved away-. Guy #2 " Friend "who used to hit on her all the time just gave her a free phone, she continues to go over to said persons home. When i wanted to look at the phone, she told me to pack my **** and get steppin. She no longer has the phone. Guy #3 "Friend" whos been coming over to our home nearly everyday since he found out she was pregnant, rarely came over before. Guy #4 "Friend" who used to be an old f*ck buddy to her before we met, went to a 3 day long festival with didnt invite me and rented a room for himself, my girl, and a couple other friends. She didnt call all weekend. Guy #5 "Friend" Used to live with us doesnt anymore. Shed disappear for hours on end driving saying "it took longer than we expected" when shed get back. Shes literally called our sex life "pity sex", has said that shes not in love with me anymore. Wont let me talk to the people im suspicious of by myself. And when ive tried they deny anything (of course). Now ive got this person pregnant. We never spend anytime together, and when we do we argue even though we live together. I could be trying harder in life but thats no excuse for her behavior i need advice, guidence, opinions? |
