This morning, my younger sister (she's 13) went to a friend's house without telling my parents. She did tell me beforehand where she's going though. I know her friend and where she lives. My mom got angry because she doesn't trust her friend and because she thinks that my sister should've at least told her where she's going. Please keep in consideration that my mom doesn't have the best relationship with us. In all honesty, we avoid talking to her at all costs. I understand that she's just being protective but I doubt she even cares about us that much. Anyways, she told me to not let my sister in until she comes home at night, around 12 am. What should I do?

Please read all of this. My father is having health problems. Sometimes he talks to me about it, and it causes me stress. I recently was so stressed about his health and some other unrelated issues that for two weeks I barely slept and vomited when I tried to eat(not intentionally). I got better because the unrelated issues got resolved, and I want to support him, but I'm afraid of going back to that level of stress that made me unable to function. I want to tell him, it sounds cruel to say it, to not talk to me about his problems and only tell me good news. I don't think he realizes fully what he's doing to me. I want to help him and am doing all I know to help him. Am I being selfish? I'm sorry if I am. Should I just not say anything and try to take it, or should I tell him to stop? If I should tell him to stop, how do I go about it? How can I support him without hurting myself?

I have a weird contempt and internal veracity towards my parents, mostly my mother. I m kind of neutral on my dad. I don t like to show it, but I really feel it. post script: It should be taken into consideration that I m 14, antisocial, have slight depression, and spend most of my time secluded in my room. Also, my mom tries way too hard to spend time with me. My dad and I kind of just silently respect each-others existence. I believe that plays a part too.

im a 15 year old girl and i stepped outside onto my patio the other night at about 2am to talk to a couple friends about an incident that was difficultly explained over the phone. a couple more people involved also came and we sat and talked about the incident on the patio for about 2 hours before they all left. i sat in the doorway with the door open the entire time, i was not by any means trying to be sneaking and i wasnt worried if my parents saw because i would just explain. they left and it was no big deal, i didnt bother to tell my parents because it wasnt a big deal and i dont really have the best relationship with them so i talk to them as little as possible. well my neighbors security cameras caught all footage of it and now my parents are figuring out how to punish me when i dont think its even punishment worthy. i stepped out to talk with some friends about an incident i couldnt talk with my parents about, is it really that big of a deal?

okay so this morning I walked upstairs bc my mom and I planned to walk. I go upstairs to smell weed. now I have no problem with marijuana (and smoke weed myself.) i have no problem WHATSOEVER with her smoking weed in moderation. however, my mother has told me that she s only done it a few times. so far, she smokes a bowl every morning and night. it basically ruins the times we plan to have. she lies constantly about other things, makes empty promises, etc. she won t recognize her own ways and is ignorant to the way she is hurting me. this has been going on for too long and is making me REALLY pissy, to be quite frank. So ever since I could remember basically he s always been an asshole. I ll be casually sitting there and he would always try to start ****. Parents won t do anything, they re completely worthless and always side with him even though most the time I just want to be let alone and hate being around my family so why should I even be picking on him if I don t want to even be around him? She's such a ******* ***** I really hate her sometimes she stresses me out I wake up crying sometimes because I hate being at home. She's made fun of me before because I'm tall for a girl. well i sent a video to my girlfriend on kik on my my moms phone since my got messed up and after i sent the video to her i went to delete the video from my moms camera roll so we would just have a random video of me talking about my girlfriend on there but after i delete it my thumb presses a random photo on my moms phone by accident then its a picture of my step dads ******* dick. I am a 17 year old male but it still grossed me out and i want to puke what can i due to get the image out of my head.

Mom never asks for much, and today like many others, she asked me to clean my room and bathrooms while she was gon.This was at about 10:45AM and I had to take a shower, so I took one and got out at 11. At 11:30 I had to leave to meet my grandmother for lunch so I only had half an hour. Instead of doin what asked after I got out of the shower, I went straight to my phone and befor i knew it it was 11:20. In the 10 mins I had I only washed the sinks with a paper towl and did my bed. I have ben in a mood all day 2 so in my head I at first thought I had dun a good job with everything but then when I got home, she asked for me to finish everything and I snapped at her and said, I hav! What else do you want me to do! So she showd me and I yelled that that its already clean. So, she took away my stuff and said I was grounded for a long time for talking back to her when she hadnt asked for much in the first place.I was pissd that I lost my phone, laptop and everything else so I stormed off into the basement. She came down to finish the bathroom and I said I was sory. She said its too late since she cleaned everything and that this happens every week and I said what do you want me to do now and she said nothing and that I have been a ***** to her all day. Then we started to argue again and she asked to be honest what I had realy done while she was gone and I said I did my bed the sink n the toilet. She got me in my lie since the toilet brush wasnt wet and now she cant trust me either So, I did as suggested, and she still refuses to talk to me and if she does, its with pure anger like, "take the dog now" sort of thing. My dad originally lived in Nevada where it s always warm until my parents divorced, my mom taking me to pennsylvania. My dad later moved here to be with us, but he and my step mom hate the humidity, cold, wetness of Pennsylvania. They re always negative and grumpy. I am currently staying with my boyfriend and his father. I use to live with my mother and father. They are technically married but they don't live together. But when I lived with her she was always on it. And she has a abusive boyfriend that she lives with and she is emotionally abusive and she would get really angry and blame all her problems on me. let me begin by saying that my family is sweetest family on earth and i love them alot..but my mother irritates me sometimes.she just doesn't understand how imp. my career is to me.it's always been difficult for me to achieve ...and i was like the only student in my class who was good in studies on her own(ie without any discipline at home)...now after years i am at the point where i can get a lot if i just put a little effort ...but it's not at all easy.and my mother just fails to see this..she keeps telling not to work anymore..on the other hand she is very supportive of my younger sister.my exam is 100 times more difficult than hers...the pressure make me irritable but my parents always blame me for having bad temper.according to them my sister is the best person on earth and i am full of faults.this feels so unjust to me!! also i share all resources with my sister(like my laptop when her's is not working) but she never ever does the same to me.and yet my parents always blame me...this behaviour is so unfair!!

I've noticed that he never seems to feel guilt. He accuses me of things, and doesn't care even if it's proven that it wasn't me. My mom calls me names a lot, and sometimes screams at me and threatens to slap me. I'm not perfect, but it actually does hurt my feelings.. People say that I'm overacting when I say I just want her to overall be more supportive of me.. I talked to her once and asked her if she could try not yelling and being a little calmer, but she just called me weak. And I know it's a parent/child situation, but I sometimes wish that parents could see that if they expect their children to be respectful and want to spend time with them, then they have to do the same thing. My dad can offer constructive criticism and he's never called me names or hurt my feelings before. Sure, we've been angry at each other, but we respect each other. How do I deal with my mother?

My mom was over the moon when my daughter was born and constantly buys her clothes, presents, etc.,which is very generous, but now that I've also had a son she does not treat him the same way. Their brother and I are getting married next year and they've been at my throat since the beginning. There's also another one with a stick figure sleeping and another one staring at it with tons of heart signs. I think little teenagers should be writing love letters, drawing unicorns, rainbows, or ice cream, but not this. I don't think she's emo or goth, because she doesn't wear anything black, and she's just her own person. What does the drawings of the stick figures mean?

Ok, so my mom is a speciel ed teacher and my dad is a buissness man. My mom always complains about stressful her job is all the time and always takes it out on me and my brothers. She is always lazy. She lays around all day and acts like she like does everything around the house when my brothers and i are always cleaning, folding clothes, washing dishes, and etc. She never makes us dinner like a real mom should. We usually get our own money and walk to buy fast food or my dad sometimes makes us dinner. She always tells us we are "disrespectful" when she does not get her way. She is always telling my dad how bad his side of the family is. She says how my uncle and grandma are such bad people when in reality they are really good people. My dad is always working hard 5 days a week. He comes home and sometimes makes us dinner when my mom does not. He always get lectured by my mom how she works harder then him but really we all know my dad is the reason we have a house. When she yells at my dad my dad always says its our fault but we never do anything. He always threatens to leave us and it makes my little brother sad. Im not sure if this is right and i dont have the courage to stand up because idk what will happen. Is this right?

So my mother is considerably lenient about social media. She let me have a snapchat, kik, and Facebook. In order to get an Instagram, I deactivated my Facebook and deleted my kik. I'm thirteen and old enough to get an Instagram. I've already tried getting it through the grades approach. I have a 96 and above in every single class, but she still won't let me. I'm 17 and I can't take my mom anymore. She doesn't let me stay home from school EVER. She's always on me about doing my homework and getting good grades, when I basically have all Cs, which is average. And anytime I tell her to lay the f*ck off, she cries. I know she's just trying to get sympathy. I make sure to tell my dad that she was being horrible to me. Maybe I exaggerate, but she deserves it for being so annoying and naggy. I personally feel left out....this might sound stupid, but I have a cousin that lives abroad in another country. Weve texted/ chatted through internet for 5 years now. But the last two years hes seemed a little distant and would sometimes ignore my texts. He claims hes very busy with school, yet is on F.B on whatsapp often. Anyway though we've talked here ad there. A few days ago he posted that he got robbed of his credit card and tagged my uncle and a few of his friends, but not me so I didn't like or comment on the post. I was a little hurt, but I do not care much anymore, I just want to get in the heads of people and try to understand why they do what they do. "My Uncle" is not his father. His uncle is my dads younger brother.

A few hours ago, me and my dad went to get some food from McDonald's for me, him, my sister and my mum. We all wanted 4 Big Mac Meals with strawberry milkshake. Usually whenever we plan on having the Big Mac Meal, we just say "Big Mac". The people working at our local McDonald's usually call Big Mac Meals "Big Macs" as well. So when we were at the drive thru, I said to dad "4 Big Macs and 4 strawberry milkshakes". When it was our turn, he said the same thing I said. When we went up to the paying window and paid for it. A minute later we got the food and drinks and we went home. As soon as we got home, I opened the bag and noticed there was no fries. My dad looked at me and started blaming me for the lack of fries. I said "how is it my fault?" He said, "because if you said Big Mac Meals instead of Big Macs, we would have fries right now! God you're hard work sometimes." He still thinks it's my fault, and my mum and sister think it's my fault as well. Is it my fault that there were no fries? Am I the one to blame?

Ugh I'm so mad at my dumb mom. I asked her for Skittles, and what does she get me? STARBURSTS. What an effing ____. Then she tries to convince me that Starbursts are just as good. Seriously, ho? So I said if they're so good, then you eat them, and started shoving the whole pack in her stupid mouth. Then she told me to go to my room. NOW she's crying to my dad and saying, "He just hates me and I don't understand." Thankfully, my dad ain't buying her sh*t and is telling her to stop trying to get sympathy from him and turn him against me. This is the BS this b*tch tries to do. Y'all may think I'm overreacting, but this is symbolic. I'm fighting for men's rights. So how do I put her in her place?

His funeral was three years ago. We didn't stay in touch after he got remarried. His family loved me too. I am trying to track them down to send a card. OK it was NOT a robbery. It was a drunk driver who ran over him and killed him on the highway. I am still sad. However, the other day, my mom had asked my 2 going on 3 year old sister if any one had been touching her privates, and keep asking her names and when she got to my brother she said yes. I honestly dont believe hes done anything. We have plenty of female cousins that we have both been around and we have never had a problem. He has never displayed any actions or any types of motions or anything like that. My brother is also virgin and honestly is just getting in to talking to girls at school. I really dont believe hes done anything . I think my mom might have confused my sister with the questioning. My question is Could or would a 2 year old say yes if asked about someone touching them? Like if you ask the child did such and such do this, will you get a reliable answer from them or will they possibly say yes depending how you ask?

I am a grown adult. I was sexually abused as a child by an older sibling. I remember telling my mother as the abuse lasted over a year and I just couldn't take anymore. I was 15 when I told her. My niece is exactly her age and is also smart, but she's friendly, sociable, and like boys and have friends, unlike my daughter. I ask her why she's mad or sad, and she's just said "shut up." I don't think me and my wife are neglecting her at all. We love her so so so much. I tell her that all the time but she's like whatever. I try taking days off of work to take her on vacation to like Disneyland or a different state, but she REFUSES to go anywhere! I try letting her stay at her aunt's house while I'm away at work, yet she still refuses to go. When her relatives from out of states come to visit, which they rarely do, she still refuses to visit them. Why???

My relatives came over one day, and the mother says to them "Honey, darling, etc" but the kids seem upset and insecure. The kids seem insecure and unhappy, and if their mother was really that loving, shouldnt they be happy and secure???!!! Does the mother maybe actually belittle them at home??

I ve caught myself saying "I m the middle child", " you remind my of my little brother" and such but the problem is Im the youngest and I don t have a little brother. When my brother and I were little we drew a drawing and told our mom that the flower is our little brother. I m just wondering if this happens to anyone else where you think a person exists but they don t.

Me and my boyfriend of 2 years and a half have a 17 month old daughter. Since we've had her, we've been together and been living together at my dad's house (its my dad's house but he doesnt live here as he's living with his wife at hers). Me and my boyfriend have broken up a lot. He hasnt treated me well for the past year but we are still trying to make it work. One day, My dad happened to be at the house when me and my boyfriend were argueing over the phone one week ago. P.s my boyfriend wanted to come over once a week to stay overnight thats when my dad isnt here but then he told me today that he doesnt want to come over at all which has really hurt me. I am confused as to why he wont even come here at all anymore his excuse was he has been kicked out... What makes me more angry is that my dad doesnt even live here..

Okay, so I m thirteen, and as long as I can remember, I ve had trouble with my mother. When I was 5, I accidentally caused a leak, and she called me an "ungrateful little brat" and to this day, she s never apologized. Sometimes, when I forget to dust the coffee table, she calls me a "lazy @ss." Last time that happened, I asked her if she could calm down, because respect was a two-way street, and she responded "I dont have to do sh!t, this is my house, I dont have to respect you!" When I lost her sweater that she bought, she called me a "monster", and recently, she started calling me "flabby" and "pudgy." I tried to talk to her about the fact that sometimes she hurts my feelings, but she said that I was weak and that shebwas only being honest. The worst thing about it though is that she has crazy mood swings. I m almost anxious about spending time with her, because one minute she ll be nice, and the next minute, she s calling me names again. Like she goes on and on about how I can tell her anything, but when I try to talk to her about my problems, she tells me to shut up, and she says I m too negative. I dont even know how to deal with this, please help... how do I cope with this?

What to do with this kid? Punished him yet he doesn't change. He is 13th years old and recently started drinking. He makes friendship only with bad people all are adults. He lies a lot. And he has this charm he fools everyone even strangers and ask for money and they give him. He revenges you if you punish him. For example burn you, stapm on your foot and many other accident that hurts you on purpose. He says he wants to marry so that he can have sex. He doesn't not study and fails everytime. He doesn't obey either. He has food and loved ones who cares for him yet no changes. Everything a kid needs he has it yet he doesn't change. What to do with him?

My daughter is 22 almost 23 and she lives in my house and she does help me pay bills but she has to share a room with her older who is about 2 months pregnant my younger daughter works, but she just got suspended from work for a work and she does help me around the house when I ask her to but she doesn't sleep she wants to hang out all night and go in and out the room when my other daughter and kids r asleep . So I have always disliked being barefoot. One day at my friend's house however, my friend's mom said that the house rules were shoes and socks off. I really didn't enjoy this, but I had no choice. Later, when my mom came to pick me up, she saw that I was barefoot, and all the way home kept saying how my friend and her family got to see me barefoot, but she never got to, and she just wouldn't drop it. When we got home she told me that I was to take my shoes and socks off again, and lately I am not allowed to have anything on my feet while inside. This was two weeks ago, and three days ago my mom has thrown out all of my socks, and most of my shoes, and bought me lots of flip flops. This past week she has also said that I am no longer allowed to wear shoes in the car, or at all if we go to the park or something like that. I have asked her if she will buy me socks when it gets to winter here, but she said I will be allowed boots in that time, with no socks. I don't know what to do...I am very frustrated. My mom has always been good to me, she has worked very hard so my brother and I could have a roof, food and education. The lack of affection from her side was always there. Today my brother asked her a question in a normal tone and she called him a piece of s h i t, I had noticed she does that every time she gets upset and she talks to us in that manner. Well today I was looking at the scene of her insulting my brother for asking a simple question , he asked her "mom are you going to use the oven?" and she burst calling him a piece of s h i t. I got so angry I called her a dumb woman who was not capable of answering a simple question and instead insulted her son. I got so angry I told her that her real problem started with the lack of love grandma for her, that she had to get pregnant to get out of grandmas oppression and that deep inside she never wanted us in her life. Her eyes were full of tears but instead she insulted me and my brother again.I understand she does a big effort having us and all but just because she works hard I think is not an excuse for her to mistreat us like that. That has been her way of treating us since I can remember, but now her words are with more hate than ever. I didn't feel bad when I called her a dumb woman, not even when I saw her tears, I actually kept going and told her that crying was the one thing she knew how to do best all her life. I don't know what to do, should I apologize even if I don't regret having said the things it told her?

My little sister is 9 years old. I'm 18. She's ALWAYS for some reason been really into zombies. She pretends to fight them with her friends and always wants to watch the scary zombies but my mother will not allow her except sometimes she will let her watch a 13+ one if she watches it first to see if she feels it's okay. She begged and begged to play black ops with me on the zombie mode. My mother eventually got fed up and agreed but made me turn the blood off. We laughed it off at first and she isn't allowed to play anymore but now she really won't talk to me and hasn't for 2 days now. Why is this?

A few weeks ago I slept over my cousin s. I don t do this often bc they live far. And I m currently at my cousin s house sleeping over again (I m 17 and she s 23) we just hang out and watch movies etc. But before I came she was telling me how her mom thinks I stole some fancy perfume her bf (whom my cousin and I dislike) bought her. My cousin believes me bc we re close but right when my aunt got off work and saw me, she came up and said how she hates liars and thieves and if I did it to tell her. I said I didn t do it and she basically repeated what she said. I speculated it was her bf but she says he s the one that bought it for her but this wouldn t be the first time he did dumb **** (excuse my language) She told me if this happens again I can t come over anymore. So now its awkward to even sleep over. It s 1:30am and my cousin is asleep now, but idk if I wanna come anymore if this is how it is. I m due to stay for 2 days but I think to just call my dad to get me in the morning. I wouldn t steal from her bc she always gives me money when I come over and I don t even like the same perfume. My father for many years from when I was a kid yelled at me, lectured me and put me down verbally. He was often ignorant and rude around me and many others and antagonized me and other family and even some of my friends. Then on a few occasions told me to change my last name if I wanted. Well, now I have and according to my mom he's all grief stricken and upset. I don't regret it and think I made the right decision. If I were to back out now I will have wasted my money and will become conflicted as to what my identity should be. Others would ask me who I am. Should I stay the course? Tomorrow I'm going to be babysitting my 10 month old nephew because my sister's going to be at a job orientation in the city all day. She texted me saying, "Sorry Jay, but the baby is going to have some pureed prunes for breakfast tomorrow. The doctor said he needs it." What does she mean though? I said it was my camera and she said that camera belongs to the person who bought it with there money. My dad bought it and he never used it. My mom doesn't even have a job. She just uses my dads money. She asks for more allowance even though my dad gives enough. I just hate her she l my thinks about herself and she's a stupid whore. She dressed inappropriately and I just want her out of my life! She isn't even a mom. She skipped my birthday to go to a party.
