Question: Can I perform a song if I didnt buy the instrumental ? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 06:02 PM PDT Ok , well I go on youtube lookin for "type beats" to record too , they are for sale but they say you can use them for non-profit as long as you give them credit . . My question is can I perorm those songs at shows & venues without getting paid for it , or can I still get paid for the show |
Question: To gift or not to gift (wedding)? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 04:51 PM PDT My wife and I recently had a destination wedding, and we did not receive gifts from a few members of our wedding party. It hurt a bit since we had given all of them gifts at their weddings in years prior. Maybe they thought it wasn't necessary since they had to come to Hawaii to see us wed? Anyways, that's not my question. My question is actually two parts: 1) One of the groomsmen who didn't do a gift (just a card) is yet to marry, but he will sometime in the next year (he's engaged). His wedding will probably be a flight for us... should we do *just* a card as well, or give them a gift? 2) Another couple who didn't give us anything is having a baby shower for their 2nd child this month. My wife was invited but cannot attend. I gave them a gift for their 1st baby a few years ago. Should we give them something? (Side note: we have no kids at the moment but probably will in a year or two) We don't want to be vindictive, but what is right or wrong? Thanks for all your opinions! |
Question: My fiancé changed a girls name to a boys name on snapchat so I wouldnt see it? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 03:52 PM PDT We are getting married in January and he left for bootcamp last week and I logged into his snapchat and this girl that he when broke up with me 2 years ago he was all over and really liked her and at the time she kept telling him to break up with me and basically I asked him not to talk to her and he promised he wouldnt and I logged on and saw this name Corey Boskis on his snapchat 1 best friend and We come from a small town and everyone knows everyone and I was like who the hell is this? So I clicked and it showed that was a nickname and the actual name appeared as ************boo. Im not putting it on bere and All the conversations were deleted and he never deletes convos and so im upset and dont know how to go about it because Im not about to stay with him and allow them to be friends so yeaah hI am saying he cant talk to her |

Question: How to deal with stepdaughter? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 01:07 PM PDT I'm 23 and getting ready for my big day in November. But the whole thing is under threat because my fiance's 16 year old daughter (he's 45) is refusing to go because she hates me and says the whole ceremony is just a sham so I can get my hands on his money. She calls me a home wrecker even though his marriage to his ex wife was basically finished when we first got together anyway and she's just generally spiteful towards me. He's now saying he's not comfortable with getting married if his daughter isn't happy and everything could be ruined. What shall I do? |
Question: Gift Ideas for my sister for her wedding? Any ideas whether homemade or bought? Posted: 12 Oct 2015 12:12 PM PDT My sister, who is my best friend and who has done so much for me, is getting married in July. I want to make this very special for her because she truly deserves it. I want to get a good start on a present just for her so I have enough time to prepare it and finish it. She has asked me to be her maid of honor and of coarse, I said yes. I am her 18 year old sister who has just started my freshman year in college. I am looking for either homemade ideas or something that is thoughtful to buy or to craft myself. She's 24, loves art and nature, and is very easy going. She's east to please and is a simple gal. I love her so much, and just want to give her an amazing gift that could make her cry. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! |
