I don't understand this. The preppy fraternity dudes throw parties all the time and they never get busted. While all the other student houses get busted every time. The frats aren't even careful about it. They blast music, people out on the lawn with beer cans being loud as hell and are clearly underage but if a cop drives by he just tells them to go in the house. Last weekend me and my 2 friends were walking home from a party. I know I shouldn't have been drinking because I'm only 20. There was a group of preps behind us that we're freshman stumbling all over the place with red solo cups and being rowdy. A cop pulled up to them and just told them they need to get home. When me and my buddies turned the corner another cop car was there and my friend was stumbling. It ended up with us getting cuffed and going back to the station. We all got under ages and my friend's brother picked us up. How come we are the only ones the cops stopped though? Just because the other kids wear khakis and polo's its "just college kids having fun" but for people like us who wear band shirts and jeans it's " these kids are out of line" What the hell? I'm done partying after this anyway because I don't want it to happen again. But why do the frat guys get away with it? Is it money? Why?

I was walking and saw the most cutest girl. But i didn't approach her because i was scared. It's been 2 months out of 4 months of school and i have been walking around my college campus randomly some days just to get a chance this 1 girl out of 24,000 that go to my university! I need friends like I need food and water. Which is particularly why its so hard for me to make them, because I put too much trust in people, and most times they turn it around and make fun of me or fight me or just don't care about me. And when that happens to me I get extra hurt and feel like they betrayed me. I know though from past experience that if I have true friends, other peoples insults and opinions have no effect on me, but that's when I have friends, which right now I don't. So any help?

For most of my life I have not found a good friend. In elementary i've had some best friends but that was it. Now, i'm in highschool I cant find any good friends, not even a friend!! I dont even consider most of my 'friends' friends, more like acquaintances. We would have the usual chit chat; "how are you doing?", "what was homework", "can I have food". None of my so called 'friends' even try to get to know me, its all superficial. I'm somewhat in a group, however most of the time they seem to ignore me when I would speak. But if someone else in the group would speak up, they'd all go in. They would only acknowledge me when they would want something, or they have no friends with them at that moment.

Hey everyone, So, lately my parents have been short of money. This doesn't happen usually but these last months they've been spending a lot of money on the return to school (buying books and stuff) and on the eid (as muslims you have to buy a sheep which doesn't come cheap) and medication and more. They don't mention it to me since they obviously don't want to look weak to their kids but i hear my mom talking on the phone saying they don't have enough money to finish the month and we're basically just around half of it. I thought i'd step into action: I've been saving up to buy a new phone but since i'm not buying it now i thought i'd give them that money to help them through, sort of lend it to them and they can return it whenever they can. It's also rightfully their money since i still go to school and don't have a job. The thing is i don't know how to offer help without looking weird or sketchy. I know they're doing the best to raise their children in ease but i am also mature enough to know that there are hard times and i want to give a helping hand. Thank you

Me and my friend had a conversation she told me when she was younger her father use beat up her and her mother, then she also told all guy's she been with and slept with then they end hurting her feelings at the she even almost had a one night stand with one guy until his girlfriend came home. So my birthday was in September and since my family is moving, we didn't have any time or space to have a birthday sleepover. My best friend brought me a candle to school which was super nice and drug and she said she was going to bring me a bigger gift too..... She never got me anything else. To me it's hurtful. This is probably going to be long. Well, I was friends with this girl, and during the summer we chatted with our other friends in a group chat. One day she asked us to help her find someone else's phone number and she was becoming really annoyed at us for no reason. I kind of got bothered because of her attitude and decided to tell her that she couldn't expect us to help since we obviously didn't know the person. She just then left the chat and didn't speak to me for weeks. Since I realized it was probably some type of sensitive situation, I chatted with her to apologize, but she never replied back. She did join the group chat again. As the summer progessed, I even noticed her change her status on the messenger to something like, "Things will be different this year. Just you wait." And it seemed that it was aimed towards me. Later on she even wrote, "I hate you all." Ever since school started two months ago, she ignored me, and I decided to be passive and hang out with other people. Although I would still want to talk to our other friends, she would roll her eyes when I'm nearby. Recently she also seems like trying to get my attention and bother me--5+ she has blocked my way to go ahead of me when going the same way. What the hell is her problem? Is it really my fault that she's acting like this? I try to move on since it seems that she doesn't want to be friends yet she wants to bother me.

Three of my friends are in this massive argument and I think they're practically enemies now. Here's what happened. So I've been friends with them for five years. Well, they always fight. Last year there was this huge argument between them and there were a few small ones too. Let's call one friend P and the other friend N just so it's not confusing, and the other one H. So N's birthday party is in three days and she's turning 16. P tried to plan her whole party which aggravated her. We also found out there will be no adults at N's party, which made P worry along with some of the other guests. We're going on a party bus an hour away and back without any adults. P told N she couldn't go if there wasn't an adult and told her it's a dumb idea. N got angry and said no way and told P she is too bossy and annoying always planning things for her. They argued for a while and P skipped school because she didn't want to see N. So, N is friends with this girl who doesn't like P or me and we don't like her. Today, N told her all the bad things P and I said about her. Now, P is crying and saying she is getting a no contact contract with N at school so they're not allowed to speak to each other and it's a mess. H also hates N and our whole group is having a massive fallout! I hate to see my friends fight like this. What should I do? We already lost another one of our friends because of a similar reason! EVERYONE IS LEAVING! It's ridiculous. Before we know it there will only be two people left in our group because of all the constant arguing! H and I already never talk anymore. But I'd say this argument is a lot worse than our previous fall-outs.

And she said I'm on the phone and if I try to talk to her about this like tell her how I feel she'll just get all offended because she's upset me other times when she would joke around and then I would tell her how I feel and she would say well that's just how I am and she would never apologize and I really don't like being treated this way. She hurt me and other people have hurt me too in the past and if she texts me first again should I text her back? I really just want to be done with her. Should I just be done with her and move on?

My friend Hannah makes a lot of sarcastic comments and jokes about me when I'm in class with her or just hanging out. Some of them I can tell she's joking in a friend way but other times it feels like she really just hates me. Sometimes if I even start to say something she'll just tell me to SHUT UP! And this happens every day and it's starting to get to me. Over text I said something and she told me that I pissed her off and for me to shut up. I jokingly said no but then she ended up blocking me. Half the time I'm around her she's really nice and it's like she's my friend but the other half of the time she's really mean to me. It s strange because I have good friends and family, and I was really sociable at Uni. Now I m 25 and I just can t be bothered. I try to go for a day out and I just feel bored and like I want to go home and do my art. It sounds bad but no one interests me. I care a lot about my friends but find it so hard to spend time with them, I m so much happier being alone in the house with no on around. I don t know why this has happened, and it makes me feel like it s not right. I will always be there for my friends if they need me, but I m just not happy when I m with people any more and just feel like I want (and need) to be alone literally all of the time.

My sister is still in high school and she hasn't had much experience with the fake people that comes along with your high school years. The other day, one of her friends threw and broke her iPhone. She didn't say anything at first but after showing us, my family told her that she needed to say something to the girl and have her pay the money to fix it. She went up to the girl and confronted her about the phone and the girl started crying saying "what kind of parents make a kid pay for a phone" and she started talking about how her mom was unemployed, which we didn't know, to which my sister replied saying that my dad works two jobs and he had to leave one of them to fix her phone and the girl said she didn't care. The biggest issue for me isn't the money, it's the fact that this girl has been messing with my sister all year. She keeps attacking her for dumb things, she keeps messing with her stuff and stealing things that don't belong to her and it was getting very annoying. All of the people who my sister considered her friends started attacking her and called her names and she just felt very alone. Now, everyone is against my sister and they're taking the girls side. All we wanted to do was show this girl that she can't get away with breaking things that don't belong to her without their being consequences. I engineer and edit my friend s music they record of my computer for free of charge. I said we cool and I got them but Im in school now its time consuming as well. We have been best friends since 5th grade and are 17 now so I can't just replace her and she doesn't have any other friends, just me. We're not in the same school anymore so I have other friends to but she doesn't. She has been through a lot and is depressed and goes to a therapist and stuff and I've always been there for her but she kind of never is there for me (never asks about my live and so on). For almost a year or two I always have to talk to her first (I always call her and ask her to do something but never receive one from her). Then she met this guy on the internet from another country and have been talking through Facebook and have met twice (he has come to our country on an airplane) and is always talking to him but never talks to me about him (like best friends do) I haven't even seen a picture of him. We're not in a fight or anything like that, I just don't know if i should be spending my time trying to talk to her if she never talks to me?

I would say he's like a brother to me I'd do anything for him, but we do cuddle a lot, and the other stuff I've done with him makes it hard to say he's like a brother. It's been almost a year and he and I haven't messed around like that since that time except maybe once. We're just friends so we usually just hang out. My mom won't let us hang out anymore I can't go to his house he can't come to mine and he isn't allowed to drive me to school anymore. And I can't go to his party this year.
