So my boyfriend and I have been together 6 year we have a three year old and I'm 6 moths pregnate with our second child. So I'm 35 years old and I'm sleeping on couch . I haven't had a bed in years why you ask ? Because my family meaning my mother and sister and brother keep having to live with me . So my mother and sister, mom-55 years old sister 21 years old can't seem to get their life together and hold down a decent job and rent a an apartment and drive theirself to work . I am living with a man who works from 5 pm to 5 a.m. four days a week Sunday through Wednesday. He usually sleeps until 2 in the afternoon on working days. He always complains how tired he is. Yet on his first day off work, Thursday, he wakes at 11 a.m., having slept only about five hours. He seems so afraid of missing out on his days off. I think rest should be a priority. He has Thursday, Friday Saturday and most of Sunday off. I care about his welfare. Yet it seems clear he likes running himself ragged for fear of missing out -- on what I can't imagine. He's 60 years old. I think a part of good health -- especially as we age -- is to allow our older bodies to get adequate rest. Self-denial may have been fine at 20 or 30 but not when he's nearly a senior citizen. I've made suggestions and voice my concerns repeatedly to no avail. Should I just shut up and let him do what he wants? He's a potential danger to himself if he's driving while tired.

I worry about my little brother too much, I used to remind him to do health stuff and now I don't anymore and I'm afraid he will never drink water and always eat sweets and never eat vegetables and fruit, or anything!

Hello, I posted something like this the other day and I noticed I was being very stingy with everything due to frustration. Now I've worked through everything and I'm still running into issues. I have a roommate who makes way more money then me and this could be the reason why. He leaves all the lights on everyday in his room. When I get home from work all his appliances are left on (computer tv ps4... I understand they don't take much power but seriously just turn them off) his lights are on in his room. lamp. fan light etc... fan is on. blah blah blah. So mainly the thing is the lighting and I talked to him about this and he said he would correct it. Well its been 2 weeks and nothing. One of the biggest energy consumers is the clothes dryer. He does laundry ( I counted ) 4 times a week. FOUR TIMES!! he will come home from work and if he had a slight spill on his shirt. will wash that shirt and 1 pair of pants. After speaking with him I'm at the point where I'm just gonna add more money to his power every month and he can either pay it or stop doing this. Our power bill our first month reached $500. And I don't have a good paying job. I don't wanna be that guy at the house but I'm not gonna pay for someone to do laundry 4 times a week and leave lights on all day. When I turn everything off. Do Laundry once a month and turn off all my appliances throughout the day.

My mother-in-law lost her husband about 4 moths ago to lung cancer. She regularly comes over to our home, since she now lives alone. Over the last couple weeks, she has been trying to catch me alone while my wife is either in the other room or out of the house. She makes jokes about how I should convince my wife to enter an open marriage. She touches my arm, and stroked my leg while I was sitting on the couch.
