I file a contested divorce and my wife never responded so it was a default divorce. But during the hearing I screwed up and mentioned a restraining order (in Washington) my wife falsely filed against me that was dismissed but I didn't bring the dismissal paperwork. Therefore the judge didn't know if Washington has jurisdiction of my daughter. Later that day I convinced me wife to email a copy of her signing the final decree. Will I need any other forms or is simply her signature agreeing is enough?

They always get in big yelling fights at least once a week. They're both 50 years old and I think that's kind of old to divorce, and i'm 15 while my brother is 17 going to college next year. They sleep in diffrent rooms as well, I'm not sure what is going to happen, but I kind of want them to divorce, just because my mom would be happier and so would my dad. So my little sister is getting married soon and my parents are doing everything that they can to help her. I am frustrated and irritated as I have a fiancee who I am dying to get married to. I am vietnamese and my aunt in vietnam setted me up with a woman over there. I was supposed to go over to vietnam last year but I ran short on money and so I had to cancel the trip. My parents said that they are planning on going to vietnam in 2020 for me to get married but they have to help my sister out with hers first. I am frustrated and angry as I am the oldest in the family and so I am supposed to get married first. I am freaking 27 about to turn 28 soon and I am so frustrated as I am still not married yet. Everyone else that I know is married now. All of my classmates from high school are married now. I couldn't find a woman here in america who would date me so I have resulted in getting my relatives in vietnam to help set me up with someone over there and that's when they have introduced me to my fiancee. I am frustrated and irritated that I have to wait until 2020 to get married. I told people my frustrations and they called me selfish and that I am jealous of my sister. They said that they think that I want to get married so bad is because they think that I want to lose my virginity. That is not what it is about. Why do people think that I am selfish for being frustrated ? How come people think that I am rushing to get married so that I can lose my virginity ?

I need some help in getting over this. I was dating a man who wanted to marry me, I feel was the love of my life, I broke up with him because I was young and scared of commitment, I fully accept responsibility for that choice - however it was later discovered that he had not been faithful to me. 3 months after our breakup he got engaged to the other woman (he was in the military and rushing into marriage before deployment). Up until the month he proposed to her, he was begging for me back. 2 months after this, I started to beg for HIM back, but without knowing he was already engaged. At that point he felt like it was too late. They were married for 2 years, he was only home for half that time. They divorced but they had a 3 month old son at the time of their divorce. He said the marriage went downhill very fast. He apologized to me, said he made a huge mistake not marrying me instead. He said he felt pressured and like he couldn't back out of it. When I asked him why he had the baby, he said they thought it would save the marriage... I am so heartbroken over this situation. It all occurred in a matter of 3 years. I lost the love of my life. I understand he was cheating on me while we were dating but I believe I pushed him to do that because I wasnt a very good girlfriend. I told him I would date him again even after everything, but he said he's dealing with a lot & feels like a failure. How do I get over the awful feeling of knowing they have a child together forever?

First of off I have to state I have never had a sexual relationship with this woman other than a hug and a kiss on the cheek and maybe a few on the lips. I feel terrible about this and I don't need a home wrecker when I have done nothing wrong, I have been with my wife 25 years and never have been accused. Just afraid she will leave me. I feel like I have been wrong because my wife does not know of this woman but I know her only because she works in my vicinity and we became friends.

I'm 36 and have no intention of getting married. I have a full-head-of-hair. I've noticed that whether it's on their early or late 20s, 30s or even 40s. Men don't seem to be in a hurry to get married until they start balding. When men start to go bald, they start looking for a wife to settle with before they completely lose everything. If there was no male-baldness, would men ever get married?

Like some people would marry someone in just 8 months time or a year. REALLY? I would assume 2 years, my personal feeling is 3 years into a relationship before marriage. Your first year you are just getting to know each other, and friends and schedule. 2nd year you get to know them more and their favorite songs and family. 3rd Year you get to know what tics them off and what their future plans are, at this point you would know if you really like them or if it was just lust. JUST SAYING, No wonder divorce rate are so high. What do you think?

My bf likes to have his space and that's understandable but how much space can one person need?! He wants to set a schedule of the exact days we hang out. Usually 2-3 times per week. He comes over 9 or 10PM and leaves for work by 6AM. On the weekends he generally wants Saturday all to himself so he can work on his new house. This week we haven't seen each other since Sunday. I mean...how much space can one person possibly need?!? Is this normal? We've been together a year. I'm starting to wonder....

Hi, I'm a separated Filipina living in Germany. My husband is asking for a divorce, but he wants me to go back to my homeland first, after that he will proceed with divorce. I have problem on that. I dont want to go home without getting a divorce here because there is no divorce in my homeland. It will be harder for me to process all the legal things. He wont cooperate in short... as long as I am here. I dont know why he dont want to do it here... Does anyone know the reason?

I am up at 4am with so much on my mind. My fiance a man of whom I've actually been with on and off over a decade has now called off the wedding. He says not ready to get married. I don't know if it's because of this woman that he cheated with and got pregnant or if he is really just not wanting to marry me. I have put up with soo much from him over the years from the lieing and cheating to the pregnancy of this other woman. I know people are tired of my questions but this has been a nightmare and I think it's making me crazy. I am wondering if he's now putting me on hold to see if the baby is his to be with her. If he loved me and wanted show me you'd think hed make me his wife and stop all the cheating lies, I feel broken I'm depressed and I am on the verge of giving up on this. He did say he'd be in the babies life if it is his and again he cheated with this woman half a year. I found out from her not him. I feel like I'm waiting around to be hurt. Just want to hear really from someone who's been thru this and anyone who jist wants to advise me honestly. He hasnt reached out to the woman, he hasnt gone to any of her appointments or anything like that but again did say he'd be there if found to be the father and I feel like he's putting me on hold to see how this with her unfolds.
