Question: Should I go to Ukraine to find a wife after college? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 10:06 PM PDT I'm interested in exploring other cultures and Ukraine has my attention. Has anyone ever married anyone in Ukraine? Should I use a marriage agency or just go meet people myself? I'm Iranian if that means anything and I hear most people my age know how to speak English |
Question: Not marry someone because of their parents? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 09:42 PM PDT I don't want to get into specifics but would you personally not marry someone you love because of their parents? Not in the sense of not being able to deal with them, but concerns on their influence of your future children? I just don't want them to negatively influence my potential future children, although the one I want to marry did not turn out like them, I know the influence grandparents can have on their grandchildren like mine did to me, and I don't want that to rub off on them. So would you not marry someone you love because of that? Side note: I can tell that the one I want to marry does not see a problem with them like I do, although it was never discussed. |
Question: Is it wrong that I'm thinking of leaving my wife and kids? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 09:38 PM PDT Me and my wife's marriage has been going downhill for the past 2 years. We've tried marriage counseling and it didn't work. We decided to just stay together for our children. We have twin boys age 6. We fight every day, constantly about the boys and other unnecessary things that could be settled if she would have a civilized conversation with me which never happens. Over the past 8 months I started seeing someone else. A young woman who makes me feel alive and happy again. She listens to me and what I have to say with no interruptions and when we get into fights it's always handled civilized. We have much more things in common than me and my wife and she's very mature for her age (21 and I'm 34) I want to pursue a serious relationship with her but fear what my wife would think and what she would tell my family and kids. |
Question: How can I help my wife feel better ? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 09:34 PM PDT My wife is upset because she's pregnant with her ex's baby. She wants him in the delivery room instead of me but he wants nothing to do with her. They were married for a year before she got pregnant then she told him how old she was he was only 19 she was 23 he didn't want to be with someone who was 5 years years older than him ( her birthday is in November ) he said it wouldn't work out then he left her. He was her best friend even though they were together a year and a half before they got married. He was her brothers best friend that's how she met him. She's still upset with him but still loves him. She's worried he wants nothing to do with his daughter too. She said she misses him a lot. It took her months to get over him. How can I help her feel better ? |

Question: My daughter in law is so rude and my son allows her to be? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 08:41 PM PDT My daughter law is a complete jerk to me and I'm not really sure what to do. I'll send her a text and when she doesn't respond within two hours i ask her why and she said she's busy with her kids and to stop always asking her if she don't wanna answer then she won't. I've tried explaining to her I know she checks her phone plenty so there's no reason she takes so long to respond. Shes on it all the time when im around. She owes her friend 23 dollars and so I asked her friend if she had got her money when I saw her. She told me she didn't so I told her since she lives states away to send me the money and I'll give it to her friend. She told me to stay out of her finances and her and my son would handle it. I was just trying to do her a favor, yet she takes it as I'm trying to get in her business. She's this way because when she lived here I would drink and kick her out (I fully regret acting this way.) I would never treat her that way again, I was mean. I still gave her a place to live and food to eat as well as bought her clothes for my grandkids. I'm not sure how to make peace with her. Any ideas |
Question: How often should married couples have sex ? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 08:33 PM PDT Me and my wife have been married since April she's 8 months pregnant. We have sex only once or twice a month or whenever she wants it. How often should we do it ? |

Question: Not wanting marriage ever? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 07:25 PM PDT Well nearly everyone I know is an idiot in someway (even my closest friends and family). It seems impossible to find someone who isn't an idiot. I catch people acting like idiots all the time but don't tell them because I don't wanna hurt their feelings. I also know that about half of all first marriages end in divorce. And about half of divorces are rough ones (meaning they want nothing to do with eachother). I also have just been fed up with having too much conflict with too many people. Plus in divorce cases, they fight over pet custody (i would not want to fight over pet custody with someone). Living alone (with pets lol) gives me the advantage to do anything i want whenever i want and all i want. Having a girlfriend to sleep with every week or so is still good. Hell having a girlfriend is still alot like having a wife. I don't think I would feel lonely because I see people at work all the time. Just about anything I can do with a wife, I can do with a girlfriend. Am I wrong for wanting to be that way? P.S. I choose to not have kids. |
Question: What is the best course of action when your husband tells you that he cheated on you? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 07:25 PM PDT He says he only went out to eat with another women and texted her. He says they never did anything. How should I respond? I feel like he abused my trust and disrespected me but at the same time maybe I wasn't there for him and so he went elsewhere? |
Posted: 07 Aug 2017 07:12 PM PDT There have been people murdered, assaulted etc over stuff like this but people still do it? -Ganged up on in public stripped naked -Shot -Caught/ exposed posted online -Acid thrown in face etc Then there are people who use the excuse it's not a persons fault they fell for a married or taken person. It's insane do they just think oh it won't happen to them? Why risk it? |
Posted: 07 Aug 2017 06:54 PM PDT So we sat down and talked for a half hour (we do this every Monday) about any problems we are having in our marriage. She started the conversation by bringing up how I ignored her talking while watching tv. Well I said sorry and so now it was my turn to say a problem I have. So I said to her "You know, it seems like you have been making dinner a lot lately. Can I make dinner for the next couple nights?" I said it very politely and she said "Why do you want to make dinner? I can do it." Well I then said "Well I figure I can help you out a bit." (Really her cooking is complete trash and I'm being polite) Finally after a back and forth or being polite about cooking I finally snapped and said "you know what, your cooking is trash. In fact I'd rather stick my head in the trash and eat a dead rodent than the slop you call food. I want to cook to save my taste buds from the brutal torture you put them through." Long story short she's making me sleep on the couch. So what happened wrong? I was being all polite but she wasn't getting it and I have to say my mind don't I? She said I ignored her while watching tv and I said her cooking is like a 2 year old shoving a crayon up their nose |
Question: Not sure how to feel about his porn selections. Any suggestions? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 06:53 PM PDT I don't care that he watches it it just bothers me that he has a specific type of girl that he watches and i dont fit into that type. Our sex life is dwindling. He seems less interested in it. I will see that he had watched porn but he says that his phone opens up all kinds of pages while in his pocket. He has no real reason to lie bc i didn't care of he watches porn. Any ideas of how to deal with it? Should i be worried? |
Question: Is my Husband's Behavior normal while trying to conceive? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 06:28 PM PDT My husband and I discussed at length starting the process this month, but any mention of it upsets him. He's willing to do the deed, but complains subtly that I'm putting a lot of pressure on him, which makes me feel like I'm somehow using him instead of us having an intimate time that'll end with him inside me. We tried yesterday and I ovulated today. I mentioned it twice today, and both times he was annoyed and wanted to change the subject right away. "Is that all you want to talk about?" I tried to tell him that this is a big deal for me, being my first child and how it's a huge step - and that I didnt feel like I had anyone to talk to about it. He suggested I call my sister or mom. He's not cold-hearted. At worst, he's not a very intimate person...But this is different than not wanting to cuddle or hold hands. He insists he wants this, but he's treating it like it's a hobby of mine he doesn't need to be told about. Advice? |
Question: Married your affair partner? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 06:02 PM PDT Wife of ten years divorced me to marry her affair partner 2weeks after our divorce was final..but in the process of divorce wanted me to pay bills still and she moved the guy into the home we had with her 16yr old daughter |
Question: What to do if your husband is not a romantic guy? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 04:50 PM PDT I have been with my husband for 7 years and let's say he has only bought me four time flowers and one bear. So here comes valentines, Mother's Day, my birthday and nothing not even a small gesture. I don't need a big expensive gift with just a note telling me His feelings or appreciation or even morning breakfast in bed would be perfect but nothing. When we go shopping I tell him I like this and he says get it that can be for your birthday I just role my eyes like really every time I tell him he didn't give me nothing for any occasion then we go to the store and he says that can be for your birthday it's not what I buy it's the thought you put in it but I don't feel he knows that. I started doing small gestures because I thought probably because I don't show him appreciation that's why he doesn't do it and since I always say treat people the way you want to be treated so I started showing him how much he is appreciated about working hard for giving his family everything we need but not sure if that will work? I have already told him I would like this things but he said just says with an attitude I'm sorry I'm not romantic. Should I still expect for him to one day be romantic? |
Question: Is my ex doing anything wrong? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 04:40 PM PDT I share children with my ex and have since remarried a great man who has been like a father to my kids. My ex husband is a so so father and sees our kids once a week for an hour or so. He's good with the kids for that amount of time but can't handle much more than that. He was never cut out to be a dad. My ex will call me to speak to our kids each night and will sometimes call during the day and ask me about the kids and what they want to eat etc. he will also come by our house to drop the kids off even though his parents come and get them and pick them up. My husband seems annoyed that my ex calls and stop by so much and says he's a fake dude whose trying to cause problems and using our kids to do it. My ex also had an issue when I started dating again and had a jealous controlling tantrum a few times and tried to make fun of the guys I was dating. What should I do? |

Question: My husand and I are on different social levels? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 01:45 PM PDT So in march i got to married to this amazing guy but i have just ONE issue. So the thing is we communicate alot which is good but one thing i havent been able to do address our social levels. See i came from people who made it up from the bottom. I have very high standards and while theres still a very down and dirty part of me, i expect look and act like higher class people in public and at special events. Dont judge please i just feel like you need to be your best for the people you love and love about and socialize with. He doesnt really shower, tame his nappy hair, brush his teeth or wear deodorant or even wash his clothes. Everything is covered in dirt and dog hair. I try my best to us keep up with that stuff but he not only doesnt care but he s also ALWAYS farting in public. I ve had even the lowest of class friends tell me he smells or he s gross... Idk what to do or how to tell him without making him feel ashamed. Ive mentioned it breifly before but he doesnt care, at least not enough to fix a couple of things.....i dont mean to sound like a ***** but i care about myself and the people around me and i dont want anyone feeling embarrassed or ashamed. |
Question: My husband wants a divorce, but I want to prove to him we are worth saving. What do I do? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 01:35 PM PDT My husband and I have been together for 6 years and a half years these past 2 1/2 years have been very unpleasant for us, I went through a miscarriage and it was all down hill for me ever since I lost myself and I am really struggling . I no longer communicated effectively and I let go of myself, he gave me many chances to fix our relationship but I honestly didn t have it in me to concentrate on that because of the emotional pain I was going through. He s expressed he understands we both have stuff to work on and we can no longer be together to do so, he asked me to fill out the divorce paperwork and I did and he left to another state for his job. He told me he would send it in once I was done seeing my fertility doctor (in two months) that he still loves me and wishes me the best but wants me out of his life because I ve become toxic to him and that this is a new beginning for both of us. We are still young and have alot to explore . I m heartbroken because I truly love him and now he s gone. Do I have a chance of getting him back? If so, how? |
Question: I recently got married? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 12:37 PM PDT I have one daughter who has always lived with me. My husband has two sons ages 21 and 16 years old who has never lived with him (just weekend visits). My husband accepts my daughter as his own which I appreciate and I accept his sons but there is a problem that I need help with. His 16yr old wants to come live with us and I'm against it solely because my husband has ALWAYS paid child support on his sons (still paying for the 16yr old) and he told me if his son comes to live with us the mother may not want to terminate child support. If she doesn't we will have to pay his private school tuition and the monthly child support. This isn't fair to me and my daughter even my husband. That's taking from our home and that's not ok. To me its either going to be that his son lives with us but the child support payments stop or his son does not live with us at all. Am I wrong here? |

Question: How can I win my wife's heart back before the divorce is finalized? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 10:20 AM PDT My wife and I have been together for 7 years married 4. We had our fist child shortly after we got together. Then we had our second child 13 months later. We tried to spend as much time together as possible. But life always gets in the way. As the relationship progressed I became distant and done a lot of stupid things. Like got on dating sites and I constantly lied about it and I became addicted to pornography. We are going through a divorce right now. Since she filed I have given up my addiction and haven't been on a dating site in almost a year. I stopped that sooner. I have hurt her so much. I am truly sorry for all that I have done that has hurt her and I have dedicated my time to try and show her how much I am sorry and how much I love her. But she wont let me love her. All I want to do is love her cause now that I don't have her I feel so empty. I'm scared that I will never get her back and that she doesn't love me at all. She says she does love me but she wont tell me when we talk. It hurts so bad that I can't hold her talk to her or be around her. I don't know what to do she says she wants to be alone. But I cant stop thinking of her I can't sleep at night for crying caused she doesn't want me. PLEASE anyone that can tell me how to get her back PLEASE I need to know. |
Question: Why do women take up for their ex husbands? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 10:09 AM PDT Why do women take up for their ex husbands/baby daddy when the guy is a loser and treated them badly during their marriage and is a subpar father to their kids? |

Question: I found out my husband has a child he has lied to me about.? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 08:15 AM PDT When my husband and I first started dating I asked if he had a child (I heard he did). He told me no, he thought it was, but found out it was not his. I believed him, really had to reason not to. We've been together 5 years and a have a child together. Within the last year there have been things to make me believe he lied to me. I found out his family had a relationship with his ex and this child. The day we posted the birth of our baby someone in his family commented "Congratulations, he has a sister who would love to meet him." He denied it, said they were crazy etc. I found child support coming out of his checks (it was a very small amount) and then our taxes were taken this year to child support. He said it was child support he still owed, b/c it was assumed it was his child, he had to pay up until he had a DNA test to prove it was not his child. He finally admitted it's his child & he signed over rights to the child. He said his ex-girlfriend would never let him see the child & my husband was married at the time he signed his rights over. Said his ex-wife pushed him to do it. Whatever the reason is doesn't really matter. I have 100,000 emotions going on right now. I am so upset because not only was this hide from me, but I asked him and he denied it. He obviously have no rights, the ex-girlfriend's husband adopted the child. But she will be 18 and can come meet her father at some time. So I feel like I had the right to know the truth 5 years ago. |
Question: What are the benefits of cohabitation living together before marriage? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 07:24 AM PDT I am a 22 year old woman who still holds some traditional values today in this society. I moved out my parents house when I was 18 years old and lived in my apartment by myself for almost three years until I let go of my apartment and moved in with my son's father after I had my son last year in February before we broke up that was the most terrible experience of my life. He was already abusive and the abuse got worse after I moved in with him and he kicked me out with no where to go and moved another woman in his place within the same day he kicked me out two weeks after I had the baby. My mom always told me to never shack up and live with a man before marriage and now I see why. I should've kept my place and we could've took turns visiting each other at both of our places everyday like we were doing before. Sometimes there's no point in testing and trying things before you buy it. He benefited more from the living arrangement than I did. He got cooked meals everyday, sex, an in-house babysitter while he went out for three days and disappeared without a trace I was paying the rent almost everything in his house. I will NEVER consider living with a man before marriage ever again unless I'm married. Sometimes things just aren't worth trying before you buy it. |

Question: Ungrateful Husband...? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 04:29 AM PDT My husband's 18 year old brother came to visit is a couple days ago. I took notice that he came with no money but tons of weed. I don't smoke and my husband just started back smoking. So yesterday I went grocery shopping with no money contributed from anyone. Once I got back, I cooked a huge sunday dinner. There were very few leftovers for him to take to work since his brothers here, so I made him sandwiches. This morning on the drive to work, he started yelling saying"do you think I wanna eat sandwiches *** f**kn day?" I was upset becuz I had not even made me a lunch becuz I was so tired. He got out the car with an attitude becuz I was crying. Im just tired of the ungrateful behavior. What should I do? I try to talk but he just seems to be irritated. |

She wrote this b/c I did mention to her that I have been stressed about finances, jobs and other things. B/c of this I started getting worried about our marriage even though there was nothing wrong. |
Question: Pregnant, stuck in bad marriage, irresponsible husband, don t know what to do... Help? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 02:22 AM PDT I recently got married but Im not happy with my marriage. When my husband was just my boyfriend, things were ok. Everything changed when we got married. He has been out of a job for almost a year, still lives with his parents &to top it off, smokes weed. I tried living with him &his parents for 2months. I dealt with it at first b/c I loved him &thought the situation would change. During this time, I had a job&went to college. I was 20 credits short of getting my degree while my husband was doing nothing. He said he had quit the weed but all he ever did was help his parents w/chores.He ended up getting me pregnant a month after we got married then everything changed. His parents didn't want our baby. I ended up leaving him &back at my parents house. I told him I wanted nothing to do with him or his family. We ended up separating for 3 months but we still saw each other &went on "dates" but i didnt step foot in his house anymore. My parents paid for all my doctors visits& everything while my husband sulked instead of finding a job. Im now 5 months pregnant. I started going over to my in laws again 2 months ago and supposedly they are "okay" w/the baby now. My husband has gone back to weed & blames it on me leaving him. I only stay for a couple of days at his house &he doesnt like that im with my parents.I love him but the baby is coming into our lives &he doesn t seem to change. I know I should let go but the idea of our family keeps me from leaving him |
Question: Shall I marry the guy who wants prenuptial agreement 4 days before wedding? Posted: 07 Aug 2017 01:42 AM PDT I shifted to a foreign country to be with the guy I love. I left my job and family, my country, my friends and every single thing I had. I gave away all my money I earned in my divorce cos I wanted to be with this guy. I have never hidden anything from him and I love him truly. Now when I am here in his country, he wants to sign a prenuptial agreement four days before wedding. I said yes to agreement like an year ago. But then I had not thought of many things clearly. We had not discussed it in detail then. I am now realising how much I am giving in this relationship everyday. Learning different language, eating different foods and even beef which is banned in my religion, impressing his family, I already found a job. I am all alone here in foreign land and he is asking for prenup and I feel emotionally drained, insecure, very hurt. Shall I marry this guy or not? |
Question: My husband is confusing me. Does he want a divorce or does he not know what to do? Posted: 06 Aug 2017 10:52 PM PDT My husband and I have been separated for 2 months by law (protective order), and by the end of this month the order will be over. Through out our separation my husband had mentioned divorce we would fight verbally, and the following week he would get over it. Lately my husband has been communicating a lot with me about our daughter asking if we are both doing ok he tells me constantly everyday he loves me, and we have been good for this.past month of say no arguing and being civil. Today I mentioned to him I didn't want a divorce and that I just wanted to go back home with already and he told me he loves me and always will, but that he is tired and can't go on much anymore. I told I'd agree with him and whatever made him happy but this is something I wasn't giving up.on because I loved him and wanted things to change for the better and all he answered me was. " I will always love you" I'm so confused he hasn't filed for divorce and our protective order ends in 3weeks |
