Posted: 03 Aug 2017 05:49 PM PDT I'm only 14, and I'm a complete mess. I have no friends in real life, I'm, like, 30 lbs overweight, I went through a rebellious phase and cut my hair super short and it looks TERRIBLE, I basically hate everything about me, and I'm scared to go into public due to my appearance. Heck, it's why I'm taking my classes online. Is there still any hope for me? :\ |
Question: My mom won't let my friend drive me to school.? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 05:43 PM PDT My friend just got her license and asked me if I wanted a ride to school in the mornings and afternoons. Obviously I said yes because the school bus is such a drag, but my mom says no. The school is like 10 minutes from my house, so it isn't a long drive. My friend is very responsible and wouldn't text while driving. How can I convince my mom to let me go? I know she's scared, but I literally never do anything, I am always home. (BTW, I do not have my license yet so that is why I'm not driving myself.) |
Question: Question about my child's friendship? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 05:21 PM PDT My brother and his friend were at a summer camp together where my mom was volunteering. The rest of this story was what my mom told me. So, apparently my brother was acting very crazy and being kind of annoying (which he does quite often). His friend then says "He's acting crazy and talking when the instructor is talking" in front of a group of 15 kids. Then, after telling me this, she says in front of my brother, "He is such a traitor! That is not a true friend, he's not a good friend" and so on. I think since they are both young (7 years old), it was kind of mean to call out my brother like that in front of other kids, but that is no reason to call him a bad friend. I think that real friendships form when you go through thick and thin together, not when you get mad over the smallest things. My brother wasn't even upset about this but my mom says that's cause he's "stupid" (stupid meaning he doesn't know when people are laughing at him or with him). Now, I am beginning to wonder if my way of thinking is dumb. If I think that you shouldn't be bothered by small things in a friendship, is that just allowing people to walk right over you? Anyways, how would you guys handle this? Just a bit of background information, when i was younger my mom would always give me advice like this such as: "if your friend isn't sharing her snacks with you then next time, never share anything with her!" or "your friend is not a true friend because she ditched you during one recess". This led me to become a very bitter and lonely person in elementary school. I am just trying to make sure my brother doesn't become one of those people. But my mom thinks that letting the small things go is stupid. I don't know what to do anymore :((((((( |
Question: How would you handle this situation? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 05:11 PM PDT My son had his really close friend over at our house for a playdate today. They just got back from summer camp together where they had both received 2 bags of chips each. They were planning on eating them together but my son's friend left his at home. So, my son opens his 2 bags and I hear him saying "You are only allowed to have one chip because these are mine". I went in the room and told my son, "He is your friend and he is a guest at our house so a nice friend would share his chips with his friend", and he agreed so I poured the chips into a bowl and put it in between them. Later, I saw that his friend had eaten most of the chips. I thought it didn't matter but my daughter (who heard this conversation) later told me that since my son is not very strong at speaking up for himself, it was stupid of me to make him share the chips as this was "one of the only times that he had the power to get what he wanted". What would you have done- tell your son to be a nice friend and to treat others the way you want to be treated, or leave them be and turn a blind eye on the situation? |
Question: Did I do the right thing to stay out of this conversation? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 05:00 PM PDT I have a good friend Wanda who is a single mom who has a 15 year old daughter Jo. She told me Jo was failing math in school and needed a tutor and that she could not afford a tutor. She asked if I would tutor Jo and she would pay me when she got some money. I told her I would tutor Jo for free and I did. The tutoring must have helped because Jo's grade went from an F to a B+. Wanda and Jo were both happy with the results of the tutoring and wanted to take me to dinner to just to say thanks. At the dinner Wanda excused herself to take a cell phone call. When her mom was gone Jo asked me it I thought she was old enough to be allowed to date. I told her that was between her and her mom and I did not have an opinion on that. She then asked me what age I started dating and I told her 15 or 16 years old. Jo asked if I would talk to her mom about her dating. She said her mom greatly respected my opinion and she would listen to me. I don't think I should get into this discussion with Wanda about Jo dating do you? Moms and teen age girls, please let me know what the right thing to do in this situation is. |
Posted: 03 Aug 2017 04:33 PM PDT My friend had a child in her 20s with a guy she'd been with since hs. She thought they would get married. But he cheated on her with her arch rival and married the girl, flaunting their new house and lifestyle in her face. So my friend ended up getting with this new guy who had one child. After together for 2 years, they had a child and then another the next year. He isn't pushing for marriage but she desperately wants it. Also, he has cheated on her a few times and once she put him out. However, she took him back but things are far from perfect. She keeps asking me my opinion but when I give it, she doesn't listen and finds a way to downplay her situation. Why would she put herself in this situation? And why be so in denial and on the defense when the reality is put in her face? I'm just trying to understand the logic in all of this. |
Question: Depressed As HELL, please share your views advices solution? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 04:22 PM PDT So there is a girl in our apartment I like just to have sex, she had done sex with 2 to 3 of my friends but she now fears to have sex as she could be caught, I am trying to bring her to my home from more than 6 months(she lives on 3rd floor and I on top 6th floor). We (me and my friend who are trying to **** her) touched her boobs and *** when we found her alone in the lift then suddenly her cousin saw us. He said nothing at that time but later he beated(just pushed away a little) me up leaving my other friend because he was not with me that time, and we fear that he will tell the girls mom and she might come at our homes and meet our parents,,, that is the worst part we(me and my friend) fear, we said him kill us but dont tell our parents.. after long he said ok but dont do any mischievous acts again with my cousin(that girl),,,, but we still want to **** her so any suggestions that should we do it or not? or any advices any solution please? Her cousin also warned us to not ever come to 3rd floor or near his house, girl's age is 12.6 and my age is 16.9 and my friends age is 16 we decided to **** her until her cousin forgets all that after 3 to 4 weeks. |

Question: How do you feel after losing a friend? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 04:04 PM PDT I just lost one and she told my guy friends that i ended the friendship and now they dont like me. I just feel empty and guilty. Can I have some advice? And how do you guys feel after losing a friend. Btw i ended the friendship after she forgot my bday and used me to hang out with our guy friends. And she would always imply that im fat and mock my skin color. Oh and btw I ended the friendship in a nice way. |
Question: My friends don't wanna do anything and I'm fed up! What do I do? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 04:04 PM PDT All my friends wanna do is play on their phones are watch tv. I wanna DO something. Get out of the house. My three friends. One says, "Playing on our phones/tablet IS something to do." I said, "No I wanna get out of the house. Besides go on tablets and ****. Like hit the clubs or go out to eat. I wanna party and stay out late! Neither of us have to work tomorrow. Of course I don't wanna get drunk but I just wanna go out tonight and party. I'm so fed up with my friends. They're getting BORING. What do I do? |
Question: Should I cut off my best friend ? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 03:55 PM PDT I have a best friend and I don't wanna talk to her anymore but I feel dependent on her. This is because I have no other friends. If I found a cool person that I totally connect with, I'd drop her in a heartbeat and its the sad truth. We have no connection anymore. How do I just leave her alone ? She wants to be my friends but I don't wanna be hers. I will literally be mad at her but text her because I'm bored. I'm sooooo confused. How can I get over her and especially stop texting her ? I know I need new friends and I'm working on that. She takes 10 hours to get back to me, puts me last but I'll get back to her in a minute and put her first. I guess we could still be friends but best friends is not what I want. What do I do ? |
Question: Is it possible to become friends again with someone after an argument? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 03:50 PM PDT This question might seem really obvious, because of course they can still become friends.. but my case feels a little different. Straight to the point, my friend and I argued because I was upset that she wouldn't say anything to her boyfriend when he hurt me out of jealousy(since I hung out with her more)So I told her she's an awful friend, and I couldn't wait for them to break up. She left, and I assumed cried. When I looked back on it, I felt like I had every right to be angry. But somehow when I actually see her in real life, I'm not so upset. This happened months ago - and ever since then we've been pretty cold. She'd still talk to me, but it's incredibly awkward. Should I forget being friends, or see if it is possible? |
Question: Is there any more I can do for my friend? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 03:39 PM PDT My friend's dad died 10 years ago, I think this can attribute to her anxiety or whatever. She used to be so smart and praised by her dad to be the best. Now that carries on with her as she's a high school dropout with no job (her mom has money, her brother followed her example dropped out with no job). I wanted to help them, but there was always excuses. I'm now in my 3rd year of college and I talked to her out of the blue. We were talking and then asked her how her project was going (she's into web design). it just led to her talking about how she didn't know and how she won't take jobs because "anxiety". I gave her an alternative she didn't take it (another excuse). I know people have problems, I try to see it from their perspective because I know people don't understand my problems ( however I deal with it myself). I offered to help her, but she won't even help herself. She talks like it's hopeless, nothing out there (her "I know everything" attitude really doesn't help me). I forgot to mention she's in her room all the time and on the computer all the time. At the end of the convo, I wanted to cry because she used to be a good friend and she's perfectly willing to "let anxiety rule her life" (i think she has depression too, idk if its true, its like she thrives on having problems). I don't know what to do, its been like this for years now, I just want to tell her bluntly to grow the f*** up. I'm trying to take the passive approach, but I'm about to give up. I plan on cutting her out of my life if I give up. Her negativity and pessimism really bring me down. |

Posted: 03 Aug 2017 01:39 PM PDT Last school year there was a kid who always got bullied in my class I wouldn't really do much till the end of the year where he started punching him so I grabbed the bully off the kid and threw him away he got back up a squared up to me then the teacher walked in so we didn't end up fighting, but this year I know it will happen again I play basketball and I don't want to ruin my place on the team by fighting what should I do note teachers don't really care about the bullying |
Question: Are you a loner? I like doing things by myself and I very few friends.? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 01:24 PM PDT I keep to myself and I don't really have a social life. Since I decided to quit drinking I don't have a social life. I used to hang out with some bad drunks and that's what made me quit. My friends turned into something that there not. We just argued all the time and that made me cut everyone. Then that's what made me quit drinking. I thought it can be too much money and I didn't want to be like them. I now just go out to eat to nice restaurants, go to the movies, go to the gym |
Question: My friend has an annoying *** twin sister? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 01:18 PM PDT I love my friend a lot, and she has always been there for me when I needed her, and vice versa. However, she has this really gloomy and reserved sister - and they are practically polar opposites. I have nothing personal against her sister, but she's really clingy and annoying when I'm trying to hang out with her sister. I used to back off, so I didn't have to deal with that.. but now I don't really care. Her sister yells at her a lot for being clingy, but I think it is entirely on purpose. What should I do? |
Question: Looking for a Penpal? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 01:16 PM PDT Looking for a penpal. Someone who would like to interact weekly, swapping stories of happenings that week, family, friends, etc. |
Question: Did I do something rude to my friend?(She is a native English speaker and I'm not)? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 01:13 PM PDT My friend told me "I just about made my last bus running" and I replied "That's great!" Then she replied, "I had to RUN, though!!" I just meant to say I'm glad she could manage to be in time for the train, but she seems angry ... Do you think I said something rude? |

Posted: 03 Aug 2017 12:38 PM PDT Me and my best friend have been performing in a band of six people - I'm on drums (I can also play the piano), he's on lead guitar, she's on bass, there's another on guitar, and one last one on vocals. The girl, Francine, was the one who actually put us together: one day she came up to both my best friend and me asked us to join her band. We agreed following a few terms: I wanted "[an] ample supply [of both]... "coffee [and] chocolate"; he wanted "[her] pussy". She agreed, we played and help recruit others, we sound pretty good but - after a while - my best friend said that Francine wanted double penetration. I agreed; however, after a while other sexual activities develop until today: where my best friend said he was "in love [with her]". I've gotten quite used to these sex sessions - I want to maintain by bust-a-nut/day ratio and protect my best friend from this hoe; what to do? |
Question: How do I tell/show my friend that he's crossed a line with this girl? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 12:38 PM PDT Me and my best friend have been roped into a band of six people - I'm on drums (I can also play the piano), he's on lead guitar, she's on bass, there's another on guitar, and one last one on vocals. This girl, Francine, was the one who actually put us together: one day she came up to both my best friend and me asked us to join her band. She agreed, we played and help recruit others, we sound pretty good but - after a while - Francine started delivering my best friend's request. I thought it was a joke at first (that's why I didn't say 'owt), now I want to stop this. He doesn't see why it's a big deal - but I think it's as bad as prostitution. How can I show/tell him this is bad? |
Question: Is my best friend loyal to me? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 12:33 PM PDT So my best friend I met at college last year is awesome and she is like my biggest fan and it seems like she really cares about me. But she is also not a very good listener like I don't think she listens to me when I talk which is frustrating a little bit. Anyways sometimes I feel like I'm one of 50 of her best friends. In my opinion quality matters over quantity with most things including friendships. I rather have 1-2 really good friends than 12 decent friends. She is just very extroverted and so she always gets close to people really fast. But sometimes she will just make a new best friend out of nowhere and it makes you feel like you are replaced. I met one of her friends from high school and even she made a comment saying something how shes "your best friend until she finds a new one." its just hard because she really is a good person and I really do love her and I love being her friend its just hard because i want that one person who we just agree that we are eachothers best friends. For example, she just made a new best friend who doesn't live in America and so she's like "Im going to visit her over thanksgiving break" but its just frustrating because every time I invite her back to my hometown she always says no. Like why is she willing to go out of America to spend a week with someone she has known for 2 months but won't make a sacrifice for someone she has known longer. And I know time isn't a good way to measure things and people can become close quick but still. |

Question: Is this normal for high school kids? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 11:39 AM PDT So, there's this kid at my school that no one really likes because they find him physically unattractive and werird, a few kids told him to kill himself and go on and on about how ugly his face is. Even his friends say that they wouldn't care if he died and he doesn't really matter. He was voted guy that would win the lottery and lose the ticket twice. Is this normal for high schoolers? |
Question: Should I leave my friends? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 11:27 AM PDT I'm always discluded in things, ok so I went to bush gardens with them, and no one tried talking to me, when I tried to talk it was awkward and I was always constantly walking behind them, I wanted to cry, and no one even wanted me to be on their sky ride cart , also we all went home in the same car and I was the only person dropped off and everyone else went to sleepover at one of their houses went to Kobe and had another sleepover again and are still together rn because of their location on sc |

Question: Im such a nice person and no one sees it...? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 11:17 AM PDT okay so there's this girl that used to be my best friend of 10 years, she put me on the back burner for years and she jumps friends so much it's insane. one day i was her best friend, the next she was taking another girl halfway across the world for a family wedding. now she's moved on to another girl who is also my friend. they call each other "bff" and no one else is allowed to be "best friends with either of them, just friends because they think they can only have one "bff." me and the girl who went to the wedding have realized that she's fake for a while now, but our final straw was when she didn't even invite either of us to celebrate her sweet 16 even though she was invited to both of ours ( we both had really nice parties). the girl who went to the wedding goes to a different school now, and i just feel like i'm all alone because my entire friend group worships this one girl. i'm such a great person and no one sees it or takes the time to invite me places... i don't know what to do anymore. |
Question: Could this woman from work like me? I like her.? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 11:16 AM PDT I'm interning at this bank and there is this female worker I like. I think she's cute and nice. I've done favors for her in the office. I've put her bracelet on for her, I've put files away, and etc. She's complimented me on my clothes and she's really attentive when I talk to her. We usually talk about our weekends on Monday's my internship is ending in a few weeks. I wonder if I should ask her out at the end of it. Today she asked me: if I have kids, would i want kids in the future, do I drink, do I have a girlfriend, and how old I am. It was odd though because she openly asked me these questions in front of a coworker while all of us were in the copier room. She said with me being 27 that I can go out and date and have fun. I hope she wasn't trying to steer me to other women. She's a single mom. |

Question: Why Am I so obsessed with him? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 11:05 AM PDT I wasn't even thinking about him until we hooked up while on a group trip with friends 5 months ago. Since then, I haven't been able to get him out of my mind. In 5 months, he has blown me off every time I've asked to him. He never calls and probably only initiated texts with me twice. We only see each other if we happen to run into each other at a mutual friends party. Then I'm like a puppy dog, I follow him to get his attention and I almost beg to go home with him that night. Then I'm sick when weeks go back and he doesn't call. I'll text and tell him I miss him, he'll respond but never ask to see me or spend any time with me. Yes, he told me he didn't want a relationship. He flirts with other women in front of me. He lies about seeing other women and yet. I'm totally obsessed. I cry and don't know why. He's really not that nice of a guy but I can't him out of my mind. What is wrong with me? |
Question: Can I escape my past? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 10:48 AM PDT Sorry if this is a long question. I want to know if anyone has been in the same situation or has any advice for me. I'm a 18 year old girl and this time last year I cut ALL ties from everyone I knew (except family). I did this because of many reasons I'll try to explain. When I was around 14/15 I got into the 'wrong crowd' as my Mum called them. The thing is I was just as bad as them! We did lots of things for the first time together and they weren't a bad influence because I was happy to go along and it was my idea to do things sometimes. They genuinely were my friends and I was theirs. I had a history with serious self harm and they helped. We started getting involved in casual sex & sexual activity with a some boys from the group and so did the other girls. Please know it wasn't my first time having sex, I first did with a boyfriend who I loved with all my heart when I was 13, I know it's young but we really were in love (and we were always safe). Unfortunately that relationship just didn't work out. Anyway, we started to explore with drink and began going to parties, around this time I also began seriously misbehaving at school (I was excluded several times). We also started smoking weed and then moved on to taking pills (ecstasy etc) We got so sucked into that life we were doing MDMA, ketamine, or cocaine every other day. After getting into a fight with my best friend (I left with a black eye and she had hair ripped out) I really started thinking I'd ****** up in life. |

Question: How do I meet and make friends with people? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 10:31 AM PDT I'm very socially isolated and finding it hard to meet new people. I'm between work which limits me financially, but I volunteer in multiple roles, I go to the gym, I've tried a few meetups via meetup.com (although not often due to finances), I try to find free events to go to, etc. but aside from still being pretty limited...I still constantly find myself alone even when surrounded by people. e.g. getting out by going into town to walk about means I'm surrounded by people, but I'll still not get an opportunity to talk to anyone - it's not like you can just randomly walk up to passers by to start a conversation. If I go to something more formal like a meetup I often find myself sitting alone while everyone else is talking. I just don't know how to go from meeting a stranger to making some sort of connection. |
Question: What are some fun things for 14 year old friends to do? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 10:29 AM PDT What are some fun things for 14 year old friends to do who are girls? |
Posted: 03 Aug 2017 10:15 AM PDT Background first- One of my friends is soon going to be engaged in a couple of days. This is an arranged marriage and I think they both have been talking on phone since almost 3 weeks now. and are still in trying-to-know-each-other phase. Today he had plans to hang out with another female friend, but he chose to lie to his would be wife and told her that he is going with a male friend. And when he told me this, I didn't like it at all that he lied to a girl who is going to be her wife soon. I personally wouldn't like if my partner would have to lie/hide anything from me before/after marriage, rather if he feels that I might be insecure of him being hanging out with a female buddy, he should openly discuss it with me instead of hiding these things even before we are married. Hiding and lying about such things just make me feel that there is something fishy that this person doesn't want others to know and is probably embarrassed to share. On the other hand, one of our other mutual friends(with whom the guy went out) disagreed with me and said that what he did was right and he shouldn't tell her right now as the girl might not like the idea of her husband hanging out alone with a female buddy..and these things should not be told at this stage. I don't know what her thoughts exactly were..but I don't really agree to what she said..and i am totally okay with the difference of opinion here. However, I would really want to know what do you think, if you agree or disagree and why? If a person has to hide/lie about things before marriage. What will happen after the marriage? This is the time when you can actually see if this person's mentality matches with yours..how compatible you might be in future. This is the time to make a decision by being open about such things that could really be misinterpreted or destroy a relation. I don't know maybe I am being too orthodox but that's just my opinion about how open and honest people should be in a serious relation like marriage. |
Posted: 03 Aug 2017 10:07 AM PDT The reason why I am asking this question is that I don't see this done around where I live. My sister has a mess with me I'd beat you up attitude, violent aggressive upbringing, bullies people and my sisters friends are exactly the same, violent aggressive upbringing, bullies people and beats people up. They all even physically look the same. They all range from punk to bullies. Every girly girl I encounter, their guy friends are identically the same, are athletic, smart aleck, rude and loud and prone to bullying or beating up somebody, again they all physically look alike. It seems like people goes after identity around here rather than just relating and sharing the same interest. They all seemed grouped rather than separate. |
Posted: 03 Aug 2017 10:05 AM PDT My pictures aren't even bad. Should i care about likes? Should i give a fu** about the cool kids or anything that they do? Should i just unfriend them and keep the people who i actually talk to and basically surround myself with positive people? |
Question: I'm too nervous to speak to people? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 09:21 AM PDT I've always had difficulty speaking to anyone whether it be friends, family, strangers, etc. I'm not exactly sure why that is, but every time I speak to someone it either comes out the wrong way or they can't hear what I said, which makes me feel even more uncomfortable and nervous. I'm starting at a new school in a month and I'd really like to get this problem resolved by then, as I'm very tired of dealing with it. Can anyone give me some ideas on what I should do?? Thanks |

Question: My best friend made out with me? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 09:11 AM PDT I am a 14 yr old male and my best friend is a girl called Lauren. Ok so we're just friends and I never thought of her as anything 'more' however we were having a sleepover at hers last week and started playing truth or dare (her idea). It was harmless dares for the most part until she dared me to let her do whatever she wanted to me for half an hour. I had to let her, and she started by doing silly things to me like putting makeup on me and drawing on me but then she started kissing me on the lips passionately. I asked what she was doing but she didn't reply and then undid my pants and started sucking me off. I didn't complain at the time but looking back I feel confused; does this mean she likes me and if so, should I go with it and be with her. The problem is I really like her as a friend and don't want to ruin our friendship so... Please help this is a genuine question. Thank you. |

Question: You a good guy she cheats, you a cheater she stays with you and puts up with you? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 06:01 AM PDT I'm 19 years old my ex is 17 and I love her so much. She was so pure, so pretty when I met her. But she cheated on me with an asshole who has no respect for women. It all started thanks to my cousin. My cousin sometimes help modeling make up. She's 21 and because of that she knows a lot of good looking girls. Many of this girls also model bikinis for independent model agencies or underground rap music videos. My ex was insecure about them. However I never cheated on her with any of them. I help once in a while as a photographer. Honestly I've only done a photo shoot like 3 times. At least maybe close to 100 girls have made a move on me. But I wouldn't cheat on my girl for a girl who constantly throws herself to all guys. Long story short my girl cheated on me. Once I stop going to those social events where all those pretty girls were, my ex begun to feel like she didn't need to worry about protecting me. She lost her virginity to anither guy. I'm still a virgin, I'm so hurt. My ex didn't realize the time I stay faithful for her. The tIme I left my friends just to be with her. The time I argue with my parents letting them know that she wasn't a young girl that didn't know what she wanted. This is what I get for being a good guy. |

Question: Is my friend normal? Why? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 03:15 AM PDT She likes to take off her shoes and lying on gymnastics mats. The thickness of gymnastics mats is 12 inch. The gymnastics mats are used for the long jump landing mats as well. Even though other schoolmates are stepping their shoes on the mats, she s still lying. She hates others stepping their shoes on the mats. She would clean the mats right after others have stepped their shoes on the mats. Is my friend normal? Why? |
Question: Is it my fault that everyone is turning their back on me? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 02:41 AM PDT I'm 19, male. I have a few friends, because I had lost some "good" friends in the past few years. For most of them, it was my fault I guess. I was so proud (and maybe I still am) and I would push people away from me very easily if they had given me a good reason for it (ignoring me or anything else that good friends don't do). But some of them really just found their own reasons, each one of them, and they just turned their back on me so what should I do? Beg them to be my friends? Of course not! So after some 5-6 years, I accidentally met one of these old friends and he asked if we could go out on a coffee or smth, so I told him to text me or I'm going to, and he said okay. It's been more than a week, but I'm still not willing to text him first, cause in life I have learned that you shouldn't go back to someone who left you for no reason. I also had this experience when I would text someone like this, and they would lie to me like "I'm going to call you tomorrow" and thry don't, and they were the ones who said we should go out. I obviously take rejections seriously. But am I making the same mistake over and over? |

Question: Should I make up with my best friend? Posted: 03 Aug 2017 12:01 AM PDT So earlier when we we driving, I forgot what we were talking about but I said " ***** blah blah blah " and she freaked out on me and told me not to use it bc of the history behind it and @ 1st I thought that she was kidding Bc we have those type of friendship where we joke A LOT so I was taken back from her remark and then she brought up the word " slave "& I reminded her that I've said the word ***** b4 & she never said anything to me b4 & I also told me that I wasn't saying the word as in the " ER " term just the " A " term and she just said it didn't matter and b4 this all happen I was venting to her abt how I've been feeling and I told her that I was sad and blah blah blah and she already knew that I wasn't having a gr8 day so idk why she had to push my buttons more, & she knew that I was upset with her and she said that she was rlly shock that I'm acting like this and she had no words for how I'm acting & she said something like she feels like she can't say what she believes but it's not like that !! I just don't understand why she had to pick up on me for saying that word when I've said it to her many times b4 & she's never told me abt it ONCE & also she knew that I was having a sad day, I also feel like she did that bc I wouldn't take her to the place she wanted to, I think that's the reason to why she got all defensive when I said " ***** " bc I said it was far/ didn't want to go there. |
Question: What's wrong with him? Posted: 02 Aug 2017 11:40 PM PDT I've known this guy from last year, we used to have a lot of classes together but now, we dont. He's so annoying. He once asked for an eraser and i gave it to him. The next thing you know, he broke it in half. He's the annoying 'cool' quarterback and I hate the jocks bc they're annoying. I was studying once in class and he goes like 'oh you actually study?" like umm yes i got a freaking honors! I often see him in the hallways so this day I was walking to my next class with my friend and he appears out of nowhere and goes like "Zoe! Your name is Zoe!" Like yeah..I totally did not know that...and another time i was walking home and he comes outta nowhere and starts dancing and goes like 'My name is zoe! ladadada!". This guy swears all the time and when I swear, even if im not talking to or about him, he tells me to stop swearing like "can you not swear i hate it when you swear" when he swears 24/7! Also, he has no problem with others swearing. If anyone else swears at.around him, he has no prob but if i do it, even if im not talking to or about him, he has a problem with it. One of my best friends has a lot of classes with him and so she told me that he was talking with this other girl about me he was like "Yo Why is zoe's hair so long I don't like long hair?" and she said he talks about me a lot like dude who gave u the permission to talk about me? I still don't get the swearing thing and he really scares me tbh. Another time, I was walking in the hallway with my friend and he bumped into me. I got a little mad when he didn't apologize and muttered "Dumba**" under my breath. He heard me and turned it into a lecture "Oh, I'm the dumba**?" "Can you not swear? I hate it when you swear!" I couldn't care less if he hates it or not! ME SWEARING ISNT EVEN HIS BUSSINESS! Stupid jock The weird thing is...everyone in my school practically loves him.. 'mr too cool for school' Just today, my friend, who has a class with him told me that he was talking to this other girl about me like 'Why is Zoe's hair so long? Long hair are annoying." and the other girl who is also my friend replied with "oh but she cut it just below her shoulders", which I did. He just grunted and went back to work. HE IS SO ANNOYING LIKE WHO THE HECK GAVE YOU THE PERMISSION TO TALK ABOUT ME!? |
Question: How do I tell my friend a secret that I have been keeping for years? Posted: 02 Aug 2017 11:38 PM PDT So my friend keeps inviting me over for sleepovers and stuff but the problem is I have anxiety and I can't really do sleepovers because my stomach gets all in a twist. I've been able to find excuses to not go to her sleepovers and stuff but now her dad has started texting my parents instead of her just asking me! I don't know how to tell her that I don't really like sleepovers because she says she's my best friend! What should I do |
Question: I'm 19 and sad about my lack of life experience and feel like I'm getting no where? Posted: 02 Aug 2017 11:00 PM PDT So my entire life my dad has controlled all aspects of my life. I was never allowed to sleep over at friends or have friends over.I was put on a strict diet regime I had to take diet pills it was awful. I wasn't allowed a job because he wanted to control how much money I had which was $20 a week for food so I have no savings no car. He's paying for me to go to uni but i feel like such a loser. I have no car not many friends back at home I'm not making money because no one will hire me because I'm a loser with no experience. And I could have said no but instead I was a pussy bc I wanted to go to college and for what just to feel like some privileged yuppy who's parents still have them by the balls financially. Like i don't know I guess I don't feel validated or something like I'm going anywhere. |
