Question: Korean-Catholic pre-wedding ceremony in order for us to live together? Posted: 14 May 2017 06:48 PM PDT My boyfriend (who is Korean) and I have been discussing marriage, and while his mother approved, she wanted us to do some sort of ceremony at her Korean-Catholic church which she briefly explained would in some way, give us permission in the eyes of the church to live together prior to being married. Even though my boyfriend was born and raised in Korea, we both don t know much about this ceremony and I can t find much about it online. Is anyone familar with this and can explain it to me in more detail? Thank you! |
Question: Can you ever truly trust your in-laws? Posted: 14 May 2017 04:46 PM PDT If my spouse accidentally poured turpentine in my mouthwash they would be the first ones over here with a shovel and a tarp, no questions asked. CAN YOU EVER REALLY TRUST SOMEONE LIKE THAT??? Mannnn, from what I've seen of other's marriages a lot of in-laws will do everything they can to cover up cheating as well! I just can't trust someone who smiles in my face and calls me family but then is inevitably going to be on call to run over and kick my spouse's one night stands out of our house when I get home early from a business trip. No ma'am. I love my in-laws, but I don't trust them as far as I can throw em either. |

Question: Should I feed my SIL to my boa constrictor? Posted: 14 May 2017 04:29 PM PDT She's running around telling everyone I'm crazy ***** I'll show you crazy That's a good point... No I do NOT want to poison Julius. |
Question: Should I ever tell the truth about why I didn't ask my SIL to be my MOH? Posted: 14 May 2017 02:53 PM PDT My SIL has the type of personality where she will randomly confront family members, even about issues from the distant past, about anything that shes still hurting from. Often she'll compile many small mistakes into this mountain of hurt. And shes "always right." I love her, but when she's confided in me abiut these confrontations with others, it sounds irrational. A year before the wedding, right when we began planning, she had a confrontation like this with me, but about issues with my husband, her brother. It was very uncomfortable as I have an extremely nonconfrontational personality. Ultimately, she ended up not talking to me for 2 months and she eventually said it was because she was so mad at her brother that she couldn't talk to me. It was really unfair to our relationship as almost sisters for 5 years. She wouldnt take my calls and i was no longer invited to weekly dinners. So I was planning our wedding during this time. After, i didn't feel comfortable asking her to be my MOH because what if she did this again! Now we're closer than ever and I can really sense this conversation coming up about why I didn't ask her. She ended up throwing me the sweetest bridal shower before the wedding and my MIL hinted that I should ask her. But I was still hurt and literally afraid of her. I still tread lightly and always make neutral comments. If she asks, i dont know if I should tell her the truth. I don't know if has the ability to understand. Also I don't know if i was wrong? |
