I am writing my Bestfriend who lives across the country a sweet letter and sending it in the mail. She's an older woman. I'm a bit worried because it's really long, although it's an extremely special important letter. She said she enjoys reading my letters but this is the longest. It's 3 1/2 pages. I'm just worried. It's sweet and is expressing what an impact she had on my life as a mentor and what things I had gone through, how she's helped me to over come everything and all that I've learned. Would you have recieving a long letter in the mail?

I returned 2 Lamers dairy milk jugs for credit at the grocery store where I work today on my day off and my co-worker kind of looked at me like I was rich or something or too good to be there. I said, "they were really good!"kind of awkwardly.

We've been talking and I've been wondering why he keeps asking when I'm free and telling me we should hang but not coming up with any dates...? I feel I've initiated a lot already. I don't mind not going out any time soon but I'm curious. He msgs throughout the day and even in the AM's so does that mean he does like me and just shy?

I am not a virgin, and have had some sort of sexual experience, but only a hand ful of times, because my mind was so preoccupied with some thing I couldn t help (my upbringing fixed my mind in such a way, I just couldn t get out of it. It was some form of mental abuse some of my family inflicted on me, that prevented me to be able to think or act like a normal human being.... I have some what got out of it in the last few years, but have deep down mostly given up on any aspect of finding a lady I would like or of having an active sex life. But my mind can definitely not cope with getting to 40 with little to no sexual experience... I am a very sexually minded person and I am not religious, and know it is only down to being made to feel like such rubbish as a kid. And I have mostly been a good person, so if fate does exist, I can not understand why I would be pushed in this position What am I going to do? I have a friend that Ive known since middle school. We met and over the years became friends, became best friends (year 2 of college now). She has issues in her life like severe depression/anxiety, mild bipolar, and reactive detachment disorder (Due to things like birth parents abandoning her, parents on drugs and disappeared, was separated from siblings during adoption, constantly moving between homes, severe verbal abuse from her parents that adopted her now. 2 Years ago or so we started to like each other romantically. We tried dating, went for about 9 months and than had some problems and broke up. We stopped talking for a while and we still had feelings for each other and then tried dating again. Problems again and ended up breaking up and stopped talking. Well after that she turned to drugs and alcohol and partying to deal with her problems. She ended up getting raped at a party and everything got even worse. Tried killing herself twice in the past year. Both failed, she had to go to a rehab center both times to help her. We do have feelings for each other, and she really wants to date me. I want to date her too but, I think it will be better the long run if I don't date her. She says I'm the only reason she's alive/I'm all she has to live for. If I leave her I know she will kill herself. I don't want her dead, But I also have to think of myself too. I dont know if I should leave her and care for myself first or stay with her when inside I think its better if I don't.

Every time when I'm around guy, tomboys or girls that hangs with nothing but guys they bully me. They call me gay or call me male beotch. They say that I'm 'not a man' whatever they're meaning I don't know. They bully me and make my life a living hell. I don't hang with guys or girls that only hangs with guys or tomboys. What should I do?

I'm curious because he keeps asking to hang but won't make plans with me. He's emailing me but hasn't given me his number yet...who emails these days? It's not a long distance thing, he lives close by. Also, he isn't flirting at all. I find it funny because he's shown signs of interest for a year now. The fact is most bullies come from well-off families and have prestige in their communities. That power empowers people who become bullies from this background, and it allows them to get away from it. Years after their childhood bullying days, they go to college and have fun, they're usually in a good marriage, smiling and happy, have a big happy family, have a good job with a nice income, and all without ever having to apologize or get into serious trouble or face long-lasting consequences for helping ruin another kid's life. In every school, there are only a few people who get bullied severely. A lot of them will be depressed, feel worthless, and this attitude helps them go nowhere in life, the complete opposite of the people who bullied them. They have to live in turmoil over the trauma of their childhood, while the bully sees their victim as a passing thought, thinking at a class reunion, "Oh yeah, I remember so-and-so. Whatever happened to them?" Is this not how it really happens?

This question is mostly for the people who are pro LGBTQ. I'm a gay man and I'm dating my gay cousin. So why is that wrong? Love is Love right, we aren't hurting anymore and what I do in the privacy of my beedroom doesn't affect you in any way. choko_canyon MANY LGBTQ people say it's wrong, and why do I care what people think? Because it affects me. even legally I can't marry my cousin in some states. Guys obviously this isn't a question for ALL LGBTQ, do I really have to give a warning/caveat to every little thing? If I truly believed that all LGBTQ people were against cousin marriages it would be retarded considering I'm an LGBTQ person who thinks it's ok. But there is a trend of many who are against it.
