I asked her why and she didn't tell me and kept on avoiding the question. She doesn't want to tell me but I can't just go back to being normal friends again. Everytime I see her I'll just think about how shes keeping something from me. Also if she thinks my friend is racist I want to know why so I can know if I need to cut Milo out of my life. She tried to push it off but it won't budge. I grabbed the trash can and pulled while my friend pushed but the trash can still won't budge at all. This trash can is a tall square and plastic. Also my friend is wearing spandax and a tank top because she just got done showering, so her skin is sticky. Do we wait until her skin dries off or should we try something else? Please help? |

Instead they wanted us to go to see a movie or go to a mall. I live in a gated comunity where there is a lake and 2 parks which is really nice. I don't mind, but my friend and I doesn't have a car. He of course ask his parents to drop him off to places because he doesn't drive, doesn't have a permit, doesn't have a car or licens. I don't really like asking anyone for rides unless it's my best friend and she doesn't really like taking me places any more.And my mom refuse to take me anywhere. So I decided not to ask if we can hangout again. I just didn't think there was anything wrong with walking around or walking to a park. My question to you is what do you guys think? He is 20 years old and his parents won't allow him to hangout with me today. I don't know his parents at all. Never met them at all. To make it harder it was my first year of high school. All year long I was an outcast. I sat by myself at lunch and had a lot of trouble socializing. I couldn't talk to girls, things were just tough. Nobody was mean to me, I was just alone. With Friday being our last day I wanted to be seen, to be known. So at lunch today, I tried to start a musical. My plan was to start singing and dancing and then the whole cafeteria would join in like in Grease. So I jumped on a random table and started to sing born to hand jive. Everyone just stared at me like I was an idiot, so I leaned down and grabbed a girls hand to get her to join in but she pulled her hand away. I sang and did the hand jive some more but I just a mixed reaction of laughs and blank stares. So I ran out of the cafeteria and went to office, said I was sick, and my mom came and picked me up. Bottom line my plan failed. How do I fix this? Will people forget about it? |

She's bat **** crazy and wanted me to go start a new life somewhere. A friend of 10 years asked me to stay with him and he lives 3 hours away. He and I both agreed it would be good for me to start over in a larger city so I can easily find a job. I'm a social worker. It's only been 2 days and he's telling me he can't handle living with someone. I can't handle living by myself. I've known him so long and he has always been there for me. I haven't done anything to piss him off and I've already been buying food, cleaning, cooking and I've offered to give him $400 from donating blood plasma. He knows how important it is for me to start over here and I've already been applying for lots of jobs in and out of my field. He works nights so we wouldn't even see each other much. And when I came here I thought it would be a romantic r-ship but he calls me friend so I just let that go but we do have sex. I stay out of his way and pull my weight and he knows I will be homeless if he does make me leave. And obviously our friendship of 10 years would be over. What do I do? |

Well I've learned that most of the guys that do call aren't really that into you either, they just more persistent and consistent about getting what they want. She recently moved to Boston to pursue a new career and also just started working on her Masters Degree as well (her new fancy job is paying for her to get it). Her life seems perfect these days. I still live in our hometown and am unemployed at the moment. I have a baby now and am struggling financially. Now that Megan has moved on to pursue her dreams, it seems like she no longer has a place for me in her life. We still talk, but it's not the same. Whenever she does come home to visit I have to compete with several other peopl such as her parents and other friends. Obviously she is going to spend a lot of time with her parents. But I feel like some of her other friends are a much bigger priority than me. And we have been through so much together in the past. When she does reach out it's usually something quick like lunch or coffee. And it seems like she is always in such a hurry. Maybe she thinks she's better than me and no longer has time for me. She has changed so much. Should I address this with her? I am so proud of her and want to keep her in my life, but I don't want to upset her by addressing this. |

I'm 16, never had a cell phone, & don't have any friends. Everytime I look at a boy my mom assumes I'm flirting. In reality I never had a boyfriend bc all the boys I used to associate with called me ugly. I have no confidence & I hate myself honestly. My old friends would ask to call me or text me, but I can't. I have a laptop (from school, I'm using now) but after a certain time (4pm) she takes it & checks everything I've done/visited for the day. It seems as though she only cares when I'm failing. She doesn't want me to get a job that she can't drive me to everyday even tho she works. I can't tell anyone about the sadness or loneliness I feel, not even her. I want to go to school events but she says no bc I won't know anyone. This is literally my only "social media" account where I can actually interact with other people. Very often, the customer wants to tip me. It's very kind, and I know the customers REALLY want me to take the tip. Problem is, it's against company policy. All the other guys I work with accept it, and when I kindly decline the tip the customers mention this to me. They get offended when I kindly decline. They really like the job I'm doing. I want to follow rules, and if my manager caught me taking a tip he might lose respect for me. What should I do? I don't want to offend customers or hurt the other guys thing they have with the tip. I don't want to say it's store policy. I usually just decline with "no tip necessary sir/ma'am. I'm just concerned about my future with the company. The customers get offended when I decline. Yet I don't want my manager losing respect for me. One customer even said if I don't accept, she won't ask for my help anymore. The tip thing really is taking the fun out of the job. |

And we stood like this for a while, while he was showing me something about that sheet of paper, and I was very nervous. The truth is that he is someone I did not notice at first, but with time, with his kindness, his smiles, the casual frictions (he touched my arm when passing by or once he took something from my hair delicately), his winks, his jokes, I started feeling too atracted to him. Posted: 23 May 2017 07:55 AM PDT I'm a 17 years old high school student, part of several social groups of people I consider very close friends, yet I can't seem to ever find enough time for all of them during school. During the week, my parents don't allow me to do anything else than school work, so all my extracurricular/leisure activities/hang outs/parties are squeezed on fridays, saturdays, sundays, and not even on those days I am allowed to, let's say, stay out for a long time like from morning till noon. I still try to do it though, but I have a really hard time doing so. I am also part of a volunteering association, (in which there is one of the social groups I am part of), which sometimes takes weekends and even work during the week, but I don't mind cause it's pretty much the only work I enjoy doing (here school kind of sucks, our teachers don't really give a s**t about us). There are people at the association with which I'd love to hang out or get in touch more, but I just don't have the time to, and I'm also kind of... not the kind of person that initiates a friendship. I am working on that though. My main issue is trying to do my best in every single part of my life, school, social, extracurricular etc. But I feel like I'm not doing well in either of them, mostly because I don't want to just focus on one thing and ignore the rest, but I end up doing it anyway. How should I manage my time in such a way that I don't feel like I ignore other parts of my life, or people? |

I haven't talked to the family in several years (we just went our own way), but I want to do something nice for the family. I don't believe I can make the calling hours since I'm out of town. I was thinking of putting together some pictures we had with each other and writing a card sharing my favorite memories with the person, and place a donation of money so they don't have to worry about food or whatever they may need during these difficult times. I want to know if my ideas are appropriate and what you think I should do as well. |

But his father got paralyzed so he and his family went back to our country. This has made him a sensitive person. He and I always used to hangout together and visited each other's homes as well. Now, both of us chat on facebook and WhatsApp and play online games together but sometimes he starts messaging while I am doing homework or watching anime, I can't just tell him to quit messaging me because that will hurt his feelings and he might end our friendship. Is there any way to tell him not to interrupt me while I am busy ? |

And we stood like this for a while, while he was showing me something about that sheet of paper, and I was very nervous. The truth is that he is someone I did not notice at first, but with time, with his kindness, his smiles, the casual frictions (he touched my arm when passing by or once he took something from my hair delicately), his winks, his jokes, I started feeling too atracted to him. For the past month or two, I just haven't been talking to her during lunch and just avoided her. I just talked to my other close friends and hung out with them. I guess the girl sensed it and decided to talk to me about it with my other friends. They said it's been awkward and they want things to go back to the way they were. Except, I don't want to. One of my friends is leaving to move to another country in a short time, and I also want her to be happy. But her and 4 of my friends are telling me to just solve things with "her", when I feel uncomfortable. I told them and "her" that I don't like her personality and she's really rude in my perspective. But they keep saying not liking her personality is not an "excuse" and BS. I asked them multiple times what they wish for me to do so they're happy, but they never gave me an answer and kept telling me to change. I told them to stop forcing me to like someone I don't like, since I'm not doing that to them either, but they ignore it. Am I wrong? Am I the bad guy? Is not liking and trying to avoid someone for their personality wrong? I've talked about this with my other friends and they wonder this, too. All I've done is not talk to her.
