We would constantly be talking in the phone with one another all day, we went out on a date, typical stuff. Everything was going good, we had some deep convos about everything including our past. We were comfortable with each other till she took a step back. We were moving too fast, and I see it now. I came off a little too clingy so I decided to go no contact but during that process we would see each other on various weekends because of my best friend and her cousin. She stayed a couple weekends with us (roommates also) she even spent my birthday week with us. But that week set us off the rails. We had no chemistry like our other previous encounters. I was in the process of getting over her so it was tough, I didn't know how to act in her presence really. So I did my own thing that week, and had some encounters with other girls in front of her (nothing serious). So the week ends and she subtweets me, saying "my true colors finally came out" and unfollowed me on twitter. I didn't respond. But I still have feelings for her deep down. Any advice? |

Posted: 26 May 2017 07:30 PM PDT Guy works on a market stall, I didn't go out of my way to walk past him and it's only every now and then but I made a point to look cute while walking past to catch his attention - it worked. Coincidentally we found each other on a dating site, we talked a little but it wasn't great as we don't seem to have much in common/different sub-cultures. I came off the dating site due to harassment from other members but it meant he had no way of contacting me and I don't think I told him my name. I'm not sure I like him, he's attractive but I don't think we'd get on. I've walked by a few times since, he's looked like he wanted me to go talk but I'm too socially awkward to go and start a conversation with a guy I may have nothing in common with - plus I don't have credit on my phone to give him my number and can't really afford to go on a date, it feels pointless to approach him without a plan. It may be different if I saw him outside his work or if he approached me. On a few occasions he's spotted me walking a different route to avoid him and I think it's been passed off as playful, on one occasion I think he whistled to try to get my attention, last time I didn't even walk by his stall but I was in the market and he was on the way to another stall so he saw me...although he didn't try to approach me, he looked back and smiled/laughed at 'catching' me walking through the market. He still seems to like me, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure I like him to try to pursue him. |

I'm kindof afraid to hang out with him, in case I'm right, because I don't know how to handle it. When I first met him I had a crush on him, but he made it really clear he wasn't interested. I have a crush on this guy and I'd say we're friendly acquaintances right now, but I have these three friends who think they're "helping" me when they're not! While I was on a school trip, one of my friends, M, recieved his number from one of his friends. M and N began texting him (I had no idea that this was going on for a bit because I was showering) and N listed a group of girls (including me and this other girl named H) and asked him which one he would date and he chose me, but that's just because we already knew each other so. M was making remarks, such as "I have a friend who likes you hahaha ;)" and said that it's "love at first sight". I was mortified when I saw these screenshots. The worst part is that they thought it was okay to make it sound like H liked him instead of me! It's so unfair to her, and to him because now he thinks H likes him. I just feel so bad. Just last week I was hanging out at the park with M, N, and H and M sent a text to my crush, indirectly saying that H liked him, again. Naturally, H was pissed. So when we left the park to go home M went her separate way while I walked with N and H. H was trying to take N's phone so she could call my crush and explain that she doesn't like him. N finally gave in and handed it to her, so H called him and it seemed like it was going well, until right before she hung up, she blurted "So yeah, I don't like you... N does!" He's two years older than us (we are 15 and he's 17) and I feel like he started dating her at a week moment. She had just been dumped for the second time in 6 months. They started dating less than a week later, and he seemed way to controlling from the start. He takes her phone and goes through it and reads everything, and makes her give it to him first thing in the morning and then takes it with him to his classes and gives it back to her before she goes to bed. One time she said no, I want my phone today. He started yelling in front of everyone and called her a stupid bi*** and when we started walking away he was following her and I could tell she was upset but she just said ok really quietly and gave her phone to him. Then he was instantly in a better mood and started kissing her and hugging her. He's got a 2.5 gpa and he has no car so she drives him around everywhere. He goes through and reads all of her messages on her phone and confronts her about some of her best friends who happen to be guys. He told her she has to delete them and that he better not ever see her talking to them again. He has pressured her into doing sexual acts that she never would have been comfortable with. As her friends, we tell her that the relationship is unhealthy but she gets upset. My friends are trying to break them up by blocking her until they break up and I don't know the rest of the plan. Is it wrong? They've been dating about 5 months I think. |
