Anyway, my brother who is a sophomore in HS is going to Disney payed by my parents and he put my sh*t up for sale. My games and consoles. He says I spend too much on my own things and he deserves the money and will spend it all on his trip. We aren't rich or anything but he was offered to go (but he must pay for his expenses) and accepted. My parents are letting him sell my things and they said it's because THEY need the money for their expenses because they have too many things to pay for. I told them they should just drop that super expensive trip and save 3k and leave my stuff alone. But they are taking my items and selling them for him. Wtf? What can I do? I am 20 and in college and I'm working and everything. I stay with my parents because I need to and I'm sure I won't be able to support myself alone. Why is it fair for them to sell my sh*t? I payed for it so why? |

First date went well and we kissed at the end and he messaged me that night he had a good time and we should do it again. Second time things go well and we have a great time and again he messages me he had a fun time. Okay, now I'm getting overly confident and of course it comes crashing down. He started to distant himself and didn't message me as much, then he became friends again with his ex girlfriend. This put me in an uncomfortable situation because I knew she had feelings for him, but this guy not being my boyfriend or something of that sort, I didn't think I should ask. So we stopped talking and then one day he finally messaged me and I asked him what was going on between us. He said he liked me he was just afraid of hurting of me because he couldn't promise forever. I told him I didn't need or expect forever since we were young and I expected us to change as we got older. He told me his ex girlfriend had made a move but he said no and explained how he liked me and apparently cut contact with her after she tried something again. But...he hasn't invited me to do anything, like I hear him invite his friends for the weekend...and now I feel too clingy because of it and unsure. ( Not the best move) She saved the text but didnt respond anything. We did talk a few days after like nothing happened. However, a few days after that, what with curiosity getting the best of me, I brought it up and asked if she felt the same way. She said she didnt. She then began to apologize but I told her to save it since there was no need for her to do so. So yet times passes by and we have one of our deep talks. I ended up confessing some other elaborate prom proposal that I had for her. We talked but she did bring up the point saying that I knew that she wasnt over her ex yet. I then told her I understood but that the prom proposal wasnt even about that. It has been a few weeks since then but we still talk regularly. I actually called her on the phone today and she seemed happy and giggly actually. Still, I wouldnt invest all my hopes into it. I know she mentioned a while back that she wanted to try and get back with her ex this summer but its what fate decrees I guess. I really like her but I want her to be happy, even if that means she gets back with him. Still, I cant help.but find myself thinking of her. Honestly, at this point, I wouldnt be surprised if anyone told me she doesnt feel the same way. Its just that I have that little ounce of hope you know. Regardless, let me know what you guys think. Thanks again and God bless. Due to some complications, her ex broke up with her about a year ago. She still talks to him on the daily as well but he never seems to mention the idea of getting back together. I think I recall even he himself telling her to move on. At times I feel like she displays interest in me but it may be just the matter of her still not fully recovering from her ex is the issue. It was her first relationship she had been in which lasted 2 years after all. I also have known her for almost 2 years now and in that time we have had chances to hear each others problems and all. (Also not that it may matter but I actually lost over 100 pounds in about 4 months late last year in response to one of the questions lol. For now I have been maintaining and planning on doing weights soon. ) |
