Question: I m scared my grandmother will break us up? Posted: 12 May 2017 01:44 PM PDT So i m graduating on the nineteenth, And despite being asked not to my mom invited my grandmother. I love my grandma i really do...she s just awful. She tells people I m a sex addict who smokes and drinks, and to pray for me, but that it s okay because i ve "turned that page". she s a liar, and verbally abusive. I never know what story she ll come up with! It terrifies me that in a few days she ll have to sit in a room with my girlfriend, who s a fairly innocent person and we have a very clean relationship. I m horrified she s going to say something to her and ruin this relationship! I ve never been in love before, and i m planning to marry this girl but i m afraid my family will destroy any chance of that. help? |

Question: Parents threatening to kick me out for this? Posted: 12 May 2017 12:55 PM PDT It started on Sunday morning. I woke up to strangers in my room working on my a/c unit. I sleep naked and my bed is hidden behind a divider. When I woke up I didn't know what to do because I could not do anything. I was naked in my bed behind a divider and there were workmen in my room. I was angry because I could not pee, brush my teeth, shower, get dressed or any of the above. I waited for 20 minutes for them to leave then angrily told them may I have 5 minutes please. They left and I put on some clothes and left the house. My dad called me to yell at me for not letting them know they could return to my room to finish their work.... Later I returned home and they were gone. I locked my door and went to take a shower. In the middle of my shower I heard my door be unlocked and my dad came in with the workmen. Now I was naked in the shower and I could not do anything once again because workmen were outside of the bathroom. I yelled at them to leave because I was angry that my dad unlocked my door and let them back into my room without any consideration for me. I was so angry that I yelled a**hole when I thought they'd have left. But my dad was still there and he got angry at me for calling them an a**hole. Then him and my mother sent me text messages saying that I can no longer live here if I'm going to do that. I have no idea what to do... Am I wrong? They refuse to see that they were wrong for this... |
Question: My moms cousins grand children.? Posted: 12 May 2017 12:45 PM PDT What does that make them to me? My moms cousin has a grandson whom I might get to meet this year at my first family reunion. I just wanna know just in case I decide to take a pic with him and post it on social media That way I ll know what to call him. |

Question: Did my older female cousin and sister molest me? Posted: 12 May 2017 12:00 PM PDT When I was 9/10 my older female cousin and sister (12/13) they said they wanted to "play a game" with me. So I went into the bedroom with them and they shut the door. After that they said that we were going to play house. They kissed me and put their tongues in my mouth. They put their hands under my shirts and shorts and rubbed my breasts and vagina. I don't remember very clearly but I think my cousin may have put her finger in my vagina at one point because I had some spotting of blood after the last time it happened. This happened 3 times, 2 times at my grandmothers house and 1 time just my cousin at my house. It started out not so bad but each time it got progressively worse. I did not say no to them and I went along with out fighting them even though I knew it was wrong, I was just so excited they let me hang with them. I did know what sex was at the time because I had found my fathers hidden porn stash in his car and on the computer. Because of this I acted out the same actions with a female friend when we stayed the night together. I feel so disgusted about myself every time I think about this. Is this my fault? I just don't know what to make of this??? |
Question: Was I wrong for posting this status my dad? Posted: 12 May 2017 11:53 AM PDT I am 22 and he refuses to meet my boyfriend who is a good man. He doesn't want me to date until I get a degree but yet most girls my age where I live are getting engaged or pregnant even while attending college. I think he is a shitty parent. What is wrong with me dating at 22? Why is he overprotective? |
Question: Family problems. Advice please. What should I do or say? I'm so frustrated :(? Posted: 12 May 2017 11:50 AM PDT I'm going to make a long story short. My father abused me and my 3 siblings when we were young. He neglected us. He fed us only when he felt like it. He abused me and my sister in another and sick way. My mother was at work while it happened. Eventually the police found out. He's in prison and my mother is on probation. Anyway, my father's side of the family thinks he's innocent. They think my mother manipulated us into telling lies about our father. They even think that we have a mental illness just because they think our mother manipulated us into lying on our own father. His parents always keep in contact with him so he's obviously telling lies and saying he's innocent. What should we do? Because it seems like even if we try to tell them that he IS guilty, they will still choose his side. My feelings are hurt and I'm fed up with my father's side of the family. They really think he's a good guy just because he acted cool and normal around them :( |
Question: Does anyone else, love their Mom but hate her as a person? Posted: 12 May 2017 11:50 AM PDT Since I've been stuck living at home with my Mom because of a stroke I have discovered She is kind of a horrible person. One that I no longer get along with, and that is a detriment to me and it's actuality better when She's gone. I currently do not have the option to move out as She controls that too. So, I'm forced to deal with an overbearing, emotionally immature, and religious nut. |
Question: Are my parents being too overprotective and strict? Posted: 12 May 2017 11:39 AM PDT Here are some examples: my dad forced me to swim on the swim team from age 7-15, even though at about age 9 I hated it. It took me ages to finally convince them to stop wasting the money on something I don't enjoy. My dad also takes my phone away for two days from two point homework assignments that I don't do every once in a while. This is not every day or even every week. Maybe once every two months? I'm also not allowed to wear bikinis outside because they don't think I have the right body for it. I'm not overweight - my BMI is 24 which is average. My three brothers on the other hand (one of which is overweight also) eat whatever they want from "their drawer" (filled with junk food). My drawer contains one box of organic, 60 calorie granola bars. My friends often say that they starve me and that I'm deprived because of how little I bring to school everyday. My dad also checks my social media accounts. I'm only allowed one. I had a second one, which he found out about and he took my phone for a WEEK. Just because I had a second account. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't love me. I'm clingy because my mother passed away so I have my dad and his girlfriend to rely on, but they're both as bad as each other. I've tried explaining this to him but what he says goes so it's useless. |

Question: I think my step brother is hot ? Is that normal ? Posted: 12 May 2017 11:08 AM PDT We live together since February. I think he's cute, smart. He has a great body, he's tall and very smart, handsome. Is it normal for me to feel like this towards him ? He complimented me about my looks a few times and it kind of made me like him even more. I'm 14. He's 14, but 9 months older than me. |
Question: Issues with my sisters-in-law? Posted: 12 May 2017 10:53 AM PDT Hey everyone. I m recently married and expecting. I have two sisters-in-law who are married to my husbands brothers. My husband and I decided we were only going to have one baby (I m an only child as well) and I just don t want a big family. We were planning on waiting to have a baby, since we are only having one, we didn t see a need to rush. However, not long after our wedding I found out I was pregnant - we weren t trying, I m on birth control. I m getting my tubes tied after I deliver. Anyway, both my sisters-in-law have been trying to get pregnant. One has been married for six years and has been trying to get pregnant since her wedding, and the other has been trying for a year. I think they assumed they didn t have to worry about me getting pregnant because they know I m not too keen on babies and I just haven t shown much interest in the subject. However, we told his family (brothers, their wives, and parents) and his parents are SO excited. They ve been wanting a grandchild since their first son got married six years ago. But my sisters-in-law have been treating me terribly since they found out I was pregnant. They ve ganged up on me and are just being petty. I ve never once rubbed it in their face that I was able to get pregnant so easily. I want things to go back to the way they were before, but as time passes and my belly gets bigger, they just get more and more mean. Any advice? I don't want to ignore them, I want to make this better. I tiptoe around them constantly and I never mention anything baby related to them. My in-laws do though since they are so excited. Since I've never dealt with fertility issues I'm trying to give them space, but I also want them to be aunties to their new niece/nephew.. |
Posted: 12 May 2017 10:27 AM PDT It's hard to not hate my mom, Trying to like her is like trying to jump on a cactus. People reading this will probably think am the problem and cannot imagine what am saying because it sounds so unreal but it's TRUE! Any time I disagree with my mom on anything, she grabs 2 sticks from the kitchen cabinet and she's ready to attack me with it. One day I told my mom to calm down when she was angry at my sister for no apparent reason and she was mad I told her to calm down, So she grabbed the same stick from the kitchen cabinet and hit me in the left eye with it and my sight was gone for a couple of seconds on that eye and I panicked and she was rdy to hit my other eye and I ran away from her and she chased me and I had to call the cops so they could restrain her. I believe my mom is the very essence of evil and that's coming from a 21 year old guy that's currently attending college. I would be relieved if she didn't exist or if she was just dead. It's like me and my sister are living with a demon and am not exaggerating. Am a very nice guy in person but throughout my life I don't think I've seen the level of malice and evil that radiates from my mom from anyone else. I always have to lock the door of my room when I sleep because she's capable of killing someone. Am not exaggerating. Why is my mom such a evil person naturally? I can go in details infinitely on what she says and does but it's too much gore. Why is she this malicious and blood thirsty? It doesn't make any sense. |

Question: Are we doing something wrong with my mom? Posted: 12 May 2017 09:54 AM PDT The first few years we were married my mom helped us out financially. That was several years ago. We are in a MUCH better financial position now and my husband Jim feels it is his moral duty to pay back mom for her help. If mom wants something no matter how small or large, Jim gets it for her. It does not matter what it cost, if she wants it, he gets it for her. He also insist we take her to a very nice restaurant each month, something mom REALLY enjoys. I am happy we are doing this. Mom is happy with this so I was surprised that there is a problem with what we are doing. The problem is with my sister and her husband. They say Jim is making them look bad because they don't have the money to do the same thing with mom and they want Jim to stop buying things for mom and taking her out for a meal. I tried to tell them what Jim is doing HAS NOTHING to do with them. Mom does not love my sister any less because of what we are doing with her. I discussed this with my husband and he says what were are doing is the morally right thing to do with mom and my sister and her husband are just going to have to live with it. Can someone give me some advice on how I can handle this problem with my sister? Are we doing something wrong here? |

Posted: 12 May 2017 09:00 AM PDT My brother has been with his gf for a little over 3 years, he is 36 and she is 38, she is also a mother of 3 boys, 22,15,and 13 years old. They have been "serious" for about 2 years, they have been living together for a Little over a year now. He really loves her and is committed to her, he wants to have kids with her. He said both of them have talked about it but he dose not think that she is committed because she is overweight, around 200 pounds, and is not healthy for her to get pregnant at that weight specially at her age, she knows that she is getting older and that is a risk, she know she has to lose weight yet she dose not even try. she also has not invited us "his family" over to her house, we don't even know where she lives, all i know is that she lives 20 min away from us. we have only met her youngest kids twice at a family party in all those years. she has no interest bringing her kids to our house and for my parents to meet her family or for us to really become a family. my brother has talked to her about it but all her excuses where childish. she used come with him to visit and she has not come in 6 months. it is important for my brother for both families to become one since he wants to have a child with her and for us to get to know his step kids. my brother has a good and stable job, he has no kids and has never been married, how can he really know if she is not playing him? is that normal behavior for someone who has kids and want to get married? |

Question: My mom always takes my money? Posted: 12 May 2017 07:54 AM PDT She has been taking my money since I was 12. I never get it back, and when I do, she just takes it back. It s money I got from friends, volunteer work, birthdays, etc. Every time she takes it she says I will get it back as soon as possible and gets angry with me. She owes me around 300 dollars. I try to hide it but she goes through my room just to find it. I love my mom, and if we were broke I wouldn t be upset, but it s frustrating. Help? |

Question: I want to change my attitude towards my parents? Posted: 12 May 2017 05:28 AM PDT Im a happy-go-lucky person when I am hanging out with my friends and Im kinda more comfortable going out with them etc. When my parents were the one asking me to come with them I don't like and I don't know why. My mind says that It's because of my 'physical problem' and the anxiety that developing in me. Everytime they want me to do something for them I act like a stubborn-brat kid and get irritated or angry at them. Everytime my dad borrowing my phone I hate it and it makes me 'hates' him but when my classmate was the one borrowing it Im okay And also everytime my dad wants me to go out with him I deny and act like a snail preparing so that he can go without me. I also kinda don't like them because our house is so messy like I am trying to fix it and nope no effects it will still go back to the 'messy' part. We also don't celebrate our parents anniversary which kinda sad for me, we don't go out when it's vacation and my brother always in his laptop playing games. I also like to go find my own home but Im still a kid and still can't work. Recently my dad ask me to get his water downstairs and I got irritated easily and gets the wrong water. I said to myself 'I messed up' I also wanna show my mom how I love her but she's always laying down and Im extremely shy about saying what I feel when it comes to my parents. I also didn't greet my mom happy birthday when it's her birthday because we did not celebrate. Mother's day is coming and we also not celebrating it. |

Question: I want to stay in CA but my family wants me to move back home? Posted: 12 May 2017 03:25 AM PDT So to make a long story short: I'm 23 and finishing up college this year. I moved to CA from the South because I got a scholarship at a college in SD. At first it was scary, and I didn't know if I liked it yet and my parents kind influenced that as wel by making comments that CA was too liberal and that they "can't wait for me to get out of there." After awhile I have started really falling in love with CA. I love LA and SD, and even though the traffic is terrible (lol) and rent can be pricey I really have fallen in love with this state, career oppurtunities here, and good friends i've made. My parents (and fam in general) are so discouraging though, they do not want me to be here and want me to move back to the South. This is all based off their own political views basically! They're the type to only watch Fox news if you get my drift and call Democrats libtards. Yeah. I know. It's embarrassing. I love them and I would hate to disappoint them but I'm at a crossroads because I'm SO happy here but they are so UNhappy i'm here. I'll be mentioning i'm going to a trip to LA with a friend for a couple days to see the museums etc and my mom will act so flippant and that i'm wasting my time kind of. Idk why i'm writing this but I need some unbiased advice. How do I respectively handle this situation? *respectfully lol typo! |

Question: Do you find this mess up? (Chinese family)? Posted: 12 May 2017 01:17 AM PDT So i come from a rich family. I have a brother and sister both older then me. My parents currently own 6 house and their going give 3 house to me and 3 to my older brother. Because my sister is a girl she get nothing even though she the oldest child. Weird right... |
Question: Why is my mom so mean? Posted: 12 May 2017 12:35 AM PDT so I have been talking to this guy on a dating site for about a month he was really nice to me yesterday it was time for me and him to meet and everything was ready for the meeting but when I ask him at what time he would like to meet he start calling all kind of names and start to laught at me and told me do you seriously think I would of been dating you you ugly fat creep I was so sad and was crying because of him but the worst is when I told this to my mom she said I knew it he woulndt want you how a cute man like him would want a girl like you and she start to laught at me im so sad right now and dont know what to do How can a mother talk like that to her daughter |
Question: Should I start my family now or later? Posted: 12 May 2017 12:31 AM PDT I feel silly asking strangers advice but I want an outsider opinion since family and friends usually tell me to do what makes me happy (which isn't always the right move!). Basically my dream has always been to have a family, and have lots of kids with the love of my life. My dream hasn't changed since I was a kid and now I'm almost 34. I own a house and foster animals and have a great career but I still haven't found mr right, though I've dated multiple guys. My biological clock is ticking. By the time I meet someone, know they are right for me, get married and am ready to start a family with them I could be 40, and I know the risks of having a baby over 40. I want to meet a husband so badly but the dream of being a mother is so much bigger and I'm considering having a baby on my own (whether it be sperm donor or adopting a child, which I also always wanted to do). I wouldn't mind being a single mother, I was raised by one after my dad walked out and I think my mother couldn't have given me a better life, but I have this silly feeling that if I have a baby alone and then mr right comes along I may wish I'd waited just a year or two more, so that I could create a baby that is half me and half someone I love. Thoughts? Should I go for it? Should I wait a year or two and then go for it? I have this ache that I've had for years, this hole in my heart that only a little person can fill, and I don't know if I can wait! I feel emotional whenever I see a mother and child in public. |

Question: Is it wrong for me to feel like this? Posted: 11 May 2017 11:46 PM PDT Let me start off by saying I graduated high school with a diploma and I went to college for 3 years then decided to drop out. And I've been working in retail For 3 years , Mom practically said to me I was a disappointment and she was ashamed to even mention me to any body who asks her how I'm doing because I'm not in school and I have a " crappy job " and I'm not where I should be in life. She compares me to my cousins saying they work hard and I settle for less and that I would be happy with just 4$ a day. That I'm A good for nothing and It makes me feel worthless ...am I wrong to feel this way? She also aggressively told me if I dared to get upset over this that she would slap me |

Question: Am I the problem in this? Posted: 11 May 2017 11:31 PM PDT My mom, dad and oldedr sisters all have PhDs. They are typical over achievers, fit with high power jobs. It took me 5 1/2 years to get my bachelor's. I still don't remember all my times tables. I'm over weight, have a hard time making friends and socially shy. I'm to the point I hate being around my family, I feel so inadequate. I've often thought about discontinuing my relationship with them. Every day I fantasize about it. I'm not sure if that's messed up or not. If I'm the problem or I'm justified. They aren't the problem, they're just being themselves. Being around them makes me depressed. I already do live on my own. |
Posted: 11 May 2017 11:15 PM PDT I'm wondering if anyone has ever moved out of their parents' house and taken their family pet(s) with them? If I ask my mother, she will absolutely say NO. I have asked her many times and she claims it's her dog every time. So there's no use in talking to her. Some background information: I'm 24 years old, I'm working part time and I just graduated with a bachelors. However, my parents want to move and I do not want to come with them nor leave the dog with them. This is the most difficult part of moving out for me. But honestly when I'm home all the dog do is sleep on my bed with me and ignore everyone else. He loves me more than anyone in this family. The problem is that while my dog is obsessed with me, my parents love them more than anything, too. I feel like if I mentioned moving out and taking the dog with me, I would get a big "absolutely not" thrown in my face. My big question is: has anyone successfully moved out and taken pets with them? Specifically family pets, that technically belong to everyone and not tell the parents they're moving out? Is this completely impossible? |
Posted: 11 May 2017 11:10 PM PDT Unfortunately I've spent 18 years of being not only my own mother, but my mom's mother as well. My mom pays the bills, works and does what she needs to do, but she uses that to justify her addiction. I usually have to make choices for her when she drinks like take away her phone ( she will call every person on her contact list ) hide her keys & tell her what's not okay to do. I've hidden my mothers addiction, but some how my teachers knew there was more behind my anxiety. I'm in college now & really need to focus on myself, but it's extremely hard when I have my mother in the back of my mind 24/7. I've tried about everything I could possibly do. I just want a normal life. My teacher suggested I lose contact with my mother for a while, but I'm extremely afraid if I'm not around she might drown herself in even more alcohol. I'm basically my mothers crutch & if I'm not there idk what she might do. Please help 😩 Any suggestions? If I'm not around her she gets depressed and drinks more. I'm her only child and she's separated from my father . She's a binge drinker and will be sober some months and then other months fall back into it again. |
Question: What's an appropriate way to cut out family members without offending them? Posted: 11 May 2017 11:04 PM PDT I want to avoid my aunt. I live in LA which is away from my hometown. Aunt doesn't have kids of her own so she was always close with me and my brother. After I moved I stopped communicating regularly with my parents and anyone \from the family (which they're really upset about). My Aunt recently moved to LA as well and we've been in touch. But lately she's been wanting to see me too often. I don't want that. I don't want to see her at all actually. How can I tell her that? She's basically like my 'other mother' so I can't offend her. I might seem like a d*ck but I'm not. I love my family but also love my privacy. |
Question: Moving out of my parents' house without telling them? Posted: 11 May 2017 10:52 PM PDT THE FACTS: 1) I am 24 years old (25 in August!) 2) I pay for my food/gas on my own already, but I live in my parents' house. 3) My parents pay for my car and phone but I will have to give them back that and find a way to walk to my job. 4) Besides the car and phone issue, I am thinking of moving in a small apartment 5) I also have a dog who I am afraid of leaving on her own with my parents because they feed table scraps all day long. I want to have him with me so I will have to leave without telling them I'm leaving and taking the dog. I would like to move out of my parents' house without telling them! I think probably I will be able to accomplish it. What I am very worried about is Post Moving Out: will my parents report me for taking the dog? I don't think they will take to me after I move out sadly, but this is what I want for me right now The reason I am moving out without telling them is because they refuse to give me the dog, even though I offer to pay for him. And he would die within 5 years if I leave my dog with them. I can't leave the dog with them! He is attached to me more than anyone else in the family and sees me as his owner, even though my mother refuses to give me ownership. I put him on a healthy diet while my parents overfeed him. They have caused my last dog to die because of this!! |

Posted: 11 May 2017 10:46 PM PDT Hey guys im 14 years old and I cry when Im really pissed like if my mom was hitting me in the face repeatedly I cry because I know I cant do anything back to her like hit her back and hitting your parents is a no no I know but I cry and I get so mad knowing that I can never do anything back to them because I hate them all so much what can I do. |

Question: How to deal with my in laws? Posted: 11 May 2017 10:32 PM PDT In laws ignore me all year every year. They never talk ti me, they give me the silent treatment. I live in a vacation city where the price of hotels can be high. So my wife allows them to come to stay in my house, and they still ignore me. Talk about passive aggressive. I am so pissed, I never want them to step foot in my house again. There are other things but I'll just keep that there. I don't like them and they seem to not like me. I'm at the end of my rope. And this happens everyone they invite themselves over which is every few months because they can get a cheap vacation because they stay at my house. Divorce has been on my mind for a long time now. Am I over reacting? |

Question: Chances of fully recovering after speedball rehab? Posted: 11 May 2017 09:32 PM PDT My brother is currently going through a 30 day rehab after quitting speedball (Heroin and cocaine) what are the chances of him staying off it when he gets out? |
Question: What do I do with my sisters? Posted: 11 May 2017 09:09 PM PDT Background info. I am in 8th grade my older triplet sisters are juniors in high school and I weigh 78 lbs and my sisters all weigh at least 125-140 and they are all tall and workout everyday so here's my problem. They bully me all the time! They will all sit on me and it feels like I'm about to pop when all three of them get on me because 3 of them put together is like 300 more pounds than I weigh so i can't even breath when I'm under them! They always hold me down and take turns farting in my face too, they are so much stronger than me and I don't understand why their farts are so loud and smell soo bad either! The last thing that drove me crazy was that they all pooped on a plate and hid their plates under my bed and my room smelled horrible!! They are sick freaks but they think it's so funny! The worst thing that they do to me is that they will wrestle me them 3 against me and it's so unfair because they will do it like wwe with slams and they will jump off the couch and land on me and it knocks the wind out of me and I have had multiple bruised ribs and bruised collerbones. I try to get my parents to help me but they just say it's sisterly love but I don't think that's true so any advice if my parents won't even help me?? |
Posted: 11 May 2017 09:02 PM PDT I was asked out by a senior at my highschool on March 28th of 2017. I am a junior. He graduates next Friday and will be staying local. Today he gave me a promise necklace as an early birthday gift (I turn 17 years old tomorrow). I was told by my legal guardian that I am not mature enough nor responsible enough to be involved in a relationship, despite my efforts in cleaning the residence and fulfilling my role as the supporting daughter. I am also told that I am selfish, arrogant, ugly, irresponsible, and that I can't do anything right. My mom is very...verbal towards me. It gets hard to think something positive of myself when I am constantly told that I'm not good enough. My boyfriend is my safe haven and has seen the little bit of good left in me. My mom opposes the idea of me dating. I need to respect my mom's views. I need to be an obedient daughter. I need to survive the next year under her roof.. |

Question: My dad is never proud of me? Posted: 11 May 2017 08:49 PM PDT He belittles every accomplishment I have. For example, today I had my AP world history exam and I after school I took a four hour nap. When I woke up he yelled at me for sleeping for so long and I told him "I had a three hour AP exam today so I'm tired" and he goes "so? I worked all day." He never once asked me how I did. He didn't even know I took an AP class until yesterday. I put in so much time and effort into the class all year long and I did so much studying for this test. It hurts because he doesn't even care. he always calls me lazy and says I don't do anything, but that's not true. I'm writing a story, I do my homework, I do extra credit, etc. the other day I told him that my teacher wanted to make copies of my essay to show as an example and he said "oh to show what not to do?" He was being serious. He always compares me and my sister to my cousins, who all play sports and have really good grades. My sister and I hate sports and we have other hobbies. Our grades aren't as good, but not because we don't try. Nothing is ever good enough for him and I tried talking to him about it and all he said was "well when you're failing math class of course nothing is good enough" meanwhile I have so many other accomplishments. It hurts really bad and idk what to do. |

Posted: 11 May 2017 08:08 PM PDT During the time my mother had menopause she blamed it on everything she did. She would wake me, my brother, my dad and scream at us for hours not caring that we had work or school the next morning. We often were forced to go to school or work on 3 or 4 hours sleep and my brothers work involved driving. She would threaten to call our schools or work because she was convinced we were out selling drugs despite showing our pay stubs and our school attendance records. We had to walk on egg shells around her, ANYTHING could set her off. You could accidentally drop a sock on the floor while carrying clothing to wash them and she'd scream at you that you dropped it on purpose to upset her and then continue for hours and yell at everyone else about random things. She once accused my dad of going out cheating on her at a strip club because he took $10 to put on his Metro card because he forgot to do it the day before. She fully believed he used the $10 to hire a girl for sex. She more then once raised her hand to hit me, my brother and my father. My dad more then once had to leave the house because she was threatening to call the cops. All of this and her Gynecologist said this is normal for Menopause. As far as concerned when the time comes I hit Menopause I will personally tell off every woman who dares to do this because I'll be in a place to do so. I have forced my brother to promise that if I EVER act like our mom during menopause to put me in a Psych Ward until I stop. |
Question: Do you think it's ok for my mom to go through my room? Posted: 11 May 2017 07:58 PM PDT I am a 21 year old girl. I go to college, but I still live at home and commute. I have a boyfriend and we are sexually active and I recently had a pregnancy scare because my period was late. I bought a pregnancy test and took it. It was negative and I got my period. Anyways, I had the box that the test came in, in my purse. I left my purse in my room all day yesterday. Today when I saw my mom she yelled at me and said she saw the pregnancy box in my purse in my room. I asked her why she went thru my stuff and she said because it's her house. I am a little embarrassed about the situation because I don't have the type of relationship with my mom where I can talk about sex. I'm very mad that she went through my room and my purse. Do you think it was okay for her to do that? I would love to move out but I have to wait to do that. I can't afford it right now. So I am stuck. |
Question: My mom hid a camera in the house? Posted: 11 May 2017 07:46 PM PDT About two weeks ago she put one looking out the front door. Our neighbourhood, our whole town actually if very crime free so I don't exactly know why. Anyways today she got a package with a new security camera and she put it somewhere in the house. My little brother and I are trying to find it because we're scared it's in one of our rooms or even the bathroom. My little brother asked where it was and she said "Why does it matter?" And continually tried to change the subject. We don't have anything to hide but it's just creepy and I feel uncomfortable. Its very alarming and I feel the need to change under a blanket and I haven't gone to the bathroom in a while because I'm so paranoid. What do I do? |
Question: How can I shape my sibling to be more like me? Posted: 11 May 2017 07:28 PM PDT Me and my brother are born into a middle class family. He seems okay with it, content to have a B or C average, work a 'normal' job, and live in the suburbs with a wife and kids. In fact, he seems to like that idea. I, on the other hand, want to be powerful and rich, because being from a 'normal' family makes me feel insignificant. So, I've decided that, but that's the easy part, yeah? I've always been an A student, and since I beefed up my hobbies, I got accepted into one of the best finance programs in the country. However, my plan includes my entire family getting rich. This is a precaution, just in case my son or daughter is an airhead who blows all my money after I die. If my brother had wealth as well, then the family name would continue. Unfortunately, he's kind of stupid and only cares about sports and girls. I've tried explaining to him the importance of my planning, but he just doesn't get it. We don't have any direct reletives, so he's my only option. How can I make him more determined and focused on education? |
Question: No more Old English, so perhaps this is to your liking? Posted: 11 May 2017 07:24 PM PDT Nightmares (1939) Time for bed our Bobby. No Mom, not yet, it's only six oclock. Come along now, school tomorrow. Mom, please, please. Dad's not home from work with the Daily Mail and I want to read Rupert the Bear. Bobby, off to bed you can read Rupert tomorrow.
