So today, we went to the mall and I bought her pants that were on sale for $15 dollars. It s pretty cheap but then again I only work part time and make about $200 a week. So after this date I realized that I spent about $35 (including lunch) on this girl and drove her 50 minutes and I haven t really known her that long. I was trying to be nice and I know definitely not to overspend on somebody but this is my first girlfriend so I guess I can learn from this. I ve vowed not to spend money on her clothing ever again because she has a part time job herself. Has anybody else done this and am I doing the wrong thing by buying her a pair of pants. I really like this girl and I don t want to seem cheap but sorry I m in college and I got stuff (car, school, etc) to pay for. If anyone had a similar situation feel free to express it. Posted: 27 May 2017 07:49 PM PDT I just got dumped after a pretty healthy and fun 7 month relationship with a girl whom I thought that I really connected with, so after about 3 months together her mom was moving and they didn't have a home for their beloved cat (Minnie) they adopted 4 years ago (Ex's roommates were allergic). I offered to take care of her till her mom moved because it seemed like the relationship had a future and I liked doing things for her. After an abrupt and confusing breakup that left me with endless questions and no answers I'm left with her cat that I do not want to take care of anymore because it reminds me of my ex, and will be unable to due to other upcoming commitments. I was told this was a temporary situation when I agreed to take the cat but now I'm left feeling taken advantage of. I truly love Minnie and the absolute last resort is to take her to the pound because she did nothing to deserve that. A few days after things ended, 3 weeks ago, I texted her asking to please figure out a plan for Minnie because I couldn't take care of her anymore and got no response. Does anyone have any advice for handling the situation because I feel taken advantage of and disrespected and also I don't see any possible scenario where she texts me based on how coldly she handled the breakup which was all over text :/. She is home now about 6 hours away so dropping the cat off there is not possible. |

We talk about things I couldn't talk to anybody else about (not personal or private) when I'm not with her I'm sad, when we're together I feel so happy. I would never cheat on my girlfriend, but On one hand, a girl with whom I share a house with and four and a half years of a relationship, or a girl that I feel strongly in love with with. Its hard... If I choose the latter, I'll probably go into debt and have to pay double rent, explain to my family members what has happened etc etc . On the other, I will see my friend around school all the time with a strong desire to hang out and talk to her... Because I am in love with her (but have decided to stay with my girlfriend). | Question: What's prom like? Is it worth it? Posted: 27 May 2017 06:43 PM PDT I'm nearing my senior year and my boyfriend says he wants to go although I tried telling him we shouldn't. First off, we're not the dancing type or people nor do we know much of the latest musics and dance moves around. I also transferred to the school my sophomore year and did dual enrollment my junior year so while I do have friends, I don't have like 20 friends I can go and mingle with. I've heard prom was fun and it does seem nice to dress up but it doesn't seem like the amount of money is worth it for someone like me who doesn't dance or is popular at my school. Is prom really worth it? It just seems like a huge waste of money especially for me. I don't even see how people can dance in a maxi dress. |
