Question: What to do about step-mother in-law to be? Posted: 30 May 2017 10:29 PM PDT She &my fiance's Dad haven't been for the wedding, but not openly against it& up until a couple months ago have ignored that it's happening. A couple months ago she spoke with my fiance and gave us things they wanted to do. She didn't like that I'd purchased & made bouquets /centerpieces out of fake flowers, so she wanted to get the flowers. She didn't like that we were getting cake from Wegmans so wanted to get it from a higher end bakery. When I spoke to her about the cake &flowers I told her to let me know when she was going and I would love to go with her. She went without me to both & picked everything herself- I don't even know what kind of cake we're having or what the flowers look like. She's not openly rude, she's very polite up front& just ignores everything I say. My mom is throwing a bridal shower for me & invited my fiance's Mom as she doesn't have local family. My fiance's step-mom said she'd like to throw me one for the other side of the family. That was a few months ago & now there are less than 3 months before the wedding. Should I ask about it? It's getting a little strange since at this point family members have asked about a possible shower and I've had to say, I think she is throwing one but I don't know the date yet..& the wedding is in 10 weeks. I don't want to come off as ungrateful or like I'm expecting anything, but I'm also worried because she seems to do everything last minute without informing us and we don't have much availability this summer. |
Question: How many Guests to invite to my traditional wedding? Posted: 30 May 2017 02:32 PM PDT I am engaged to the love of my life and we have been together for a while. We are planning a traditional wedding of about 150 guests. And then a garden wedding at a beautiful location a few months afterwards. I am not much of a people person but I think people who need to be there from my family(and his) should be there. What is the ideal number of guests one should have so I don't feel like I'm excluding anyone? |

Question: Bridesmaids and Groomsmen Slow Dance? Posted: 30 May 2017 09:34 AM PDT I know this is going to sound really stupid but I have never been in a wedding before and I m now one of the bridesmaids and I have never met the groomsman that I m walking down the isle with. SO my question is what way do I slow dance with him? Do I put my arms around his neck or hold one of his hands? I just don t know and I m so awkward and I know its a stupid question. Please no mean or sarcastic answers. My bad to the people who said I spelled AISLE wrong I didn't check my phone when it auto corrected me. |
