Long story short, I've been seeing a guy from school for a little over a month now. Ever since we met, we have hung out a lot and gotten close/comfortable with each other. Today was our last day of the semester and honestly saying bye really sucked only because I don't know what is going to happen between us this summer. Right from the start, he told me he was not really looking for a relationship right now because of how terrible he was treated in his last one, but he wanted to see where things went. I was kind of crushed by this because I have formed feelings, but part of me feels as though it really may be because he's not ready and wants to start as friends/take things slow. I feel like I've been treated differently than a "friend". First off, we have hooked up (not sex). I am the only female friend he ever ate with, other times he'd go alone or with his best friend, he told me his mom would love me and had me meet her today, he also told me I remind him of his mom, he helped me pack up all of my heavy stuff and brought it to my car, he mentioned seeing each other soon, and when he found out my mom was coming, he asked if he'd get to meet her. He's the biggest gentleman I have ever had in my life and I really just pray that he sees how different I am than the shitty girls he's dealt with in the past.

I m asking this so I can quit being a jerk to people and humble up. So I m 19, I live on the North Shore of Long Island with my parents, my house is one of the best ones on our cul-de-sac. It s 3000 sq. ft on around 1.25 acres of land, and we have access to a backwoods. We have a summer beach home on the water, and 4 cars including a Mercedes. I tend to be a big spender which I m aware is a destructive habit (name-brand/designer clothes, shoes, technology, music). I m for a free market with minimal government regulation, I m not religious, and I m accepting of most people and everybody has their personal rights. My real passions lie in music and econ. Anyway, regarding my household income we generally bring in ~$200,000 per year, before taxes. Our family income is around ~$250,000, and if I can land a job at my Mom s work the family income would be ~$300,000. My parents joint net worth is ~$2,000,000. Regarding college, I m currently on a leave of absense from my private university. I need to find myself more and stuff before I m truly ready for college. It s a second-rate business school but my major is finance, and I hope I can eventually work with my banker uncle who s a CLO and executive. I ve been diagnosed with ADHD and Bipolar type II. Realizing how spoiled I am, it s caused me to withdraw a bit and wonder "do I actually have those disorders or was/am I just overly pampered?" I m angry and mean to my parents and I want to stop that, because it doesn t help anything.

Yesterday, I felt like my manager was kind of pissed at me for something and actually gave me a warning that if I talked to my coworkers he'd send us home or right us up and I was so pissed that he said that and for my whole shift I didn't talk at all, not until closing. I told him I'd help him wipe down the counter and he was like I'm helping you and I told him I didn't need help from people who yell at me and he was like I didn't yell at you, it was a warning blah blah blah I was just like whatever I told him he was never going to hear me talk anymore, just being dramatic at stuff and he invited me to his bday but after what happened im not sure he'd want me to come so before I left last night I was just like happy birthday and gave him a gummy and my coins, and when I left I just said have fun at your party and he just said thanks have a great night so I don't know. I want to go but at the same time I feel like there's tension. Do you think I should still text him happy birthday? And apologize if I was acting really moody yesterday? I don't see him until Sunday so I just want to do something that will cheer up for his bday

Not how to battle wits and make them look stupider than picking things to talk about that make me look bad. But how can I just survive them and end or deflect them away some how. Just counter what they say to make them not part of the conversations. I always experience someone who feels left out and then they attempt to hijack the conversation by insulting and scapegoating one person by assassinating their character. But they do it unprovoked, out of left field and use really personal insulting things that don't make sense enough to others to resonate with them. Enough to comprehend the weight of the personal attack. What they say doesn't make sense personally. To the group. But the topic does so it's like insulting on multiple levels to you and you have to respond on multiple levels.

I am an old woman with 2 grown boys. For Mothers Day I planned a professional photo shoot of MY family. In a few of the shots, I asked for them to be JUST me and my husband and our grown children. I did not include a "baby momma" {they live together but have never married, and there is NO WAY they will stay together long term} she is involved in all of family holiday's and is considered a member of our family --for now. After the session I was informed that I was rude and she would not be returning to my home because I didnt include her in a few of the photos, she said that she should of been in ALL of our photos. In efforts to avoid hurt feelings, there were several photos she was involved in just not the ones where I wonted it to be myself, my hubs, my children and my grand children. They dress the same way and act the same way and talk the same way, and typically listen to country and may* listen to rap music if rarely. There are barely any races and prejudices are everywhere. If you go up to these people and be yourself they would look at you as if you just came from outer space. They seem to carry an antagonism towards people who are a different way than they are. If you be yourself you are subjected to get beat up or bullied for being 'different', at best snubbed or treated in an indignant way. You WILL be catagoried. They seem to not let anybody in as if you try to have something to do with them they will blank you or snub you. If you go and make yourself 'blend in' with the other guys they will start drawing to you, but then your personality would cut them off or get them mad at you because you are a different way. They tend to either fail or not see anyone different than themselves. If you are a different way they tend to take it that you are being that way for a particular reason at best. They hate variety. Any tips on how to live out here?

A year ago I met a man who works a lot in the city I reside in but lives in a smaller town 2 hours away. He said hes separated from his wife just not yet divorced and has his own place. I questioned if he still lives with his wife cause of his behaviour when he was home. I confronted him about it & he admitted he still lives in the same house as his wife but theyve grown apart yrs ago & sleeps downstairs. He says its cause of their 2 kids (13,16) & also the religion he and his family belong to, Jehovah's witnesses. He never felt the need to move out since he's barely there. He says his religion may force his family to disown him if he divorces & he doesn't want to lose contact with his parents. I recently found out I was pregnant & hes happy. I told him his situation needs to change. He said him & his wife had a discussion about their situation & agreed they both want him move out since theyre both done w/ each other. But then there's been minor progress. Says its complicated & he just wants to take it day by day. When hes home & not busy I ask him to call me he doesnt call right away, when he does hes out of his house mostly. He planned a mini trip with his sons (never met them) a mth before the baby is due, when I said I wanted to go he suggested we go somewhere separately. My brother has been with his gf for a little over 3 years, he is 36 and she is 38, she is also a mother of 3 boys, 22,15,13 years old. They have been "serious" for about 2 years, they have been living together for a Little over a year now. He really loves her and is committed to her, he wants to have kids with her. He said both of them have talked about it but he dose not think that she is committed because she is overweight, around 200 pounds, and is not healthy for her to get pregnant at that weight specially at her age, she knows that she is getting older and that is a risk, she know she has to lose weight yet she dose not even try. she also has not invited us "his family" over to her house, we don't even know where she lives, all i know is that she lives 20 min away from us. we have only met her youngest kids twice at a family party in all those years. she has no interest bringing her kids to our house and for my parents to meet her family or for us to really become a family. my brother has talked to her about it but all her excuses where childish. she used come with him to visit and she has not come in 6 months. it is important for my brother for both families to become one since he wants to have a child with her and for us to get to know his step kids. my brother has a good and stable job, he has no kids and has never been married, how can he really know if she is not playing him? is that normal behavior for someone who has kids and want to get married? They did discuss marriage and having kids before living together. when i last saw her she told me she wants another child but that she needs to lose weight because she knows the risks yet she dose not even try at all.

I was with a married man for about eight years..... I know I'm the biggest piece of **** in the world. I stayed so long because I for some reason fell in love with him, he said his relationship with his wife was not working out, that he was going to leave her and be with me. I listened to the same lies for years. Until finally I told his wife everything, but of course she didn't believe all the lies he had told me, she believed his side of the story which was that I wouldn't leave him alone, that I threatened to kill myself if he left me. Many times I would tell him to stay with his wife and forget about me, but he would insist that he loved me he would swear on his mother and daughters life that I was the love of his life. I just don't understand why guys do that. Up until the truth was out, according to him I was his everything and now I'm this big mistake he'll regret for the rest of his life. Now he suddenly feels bad for lying to his family and hurting them, why couldn't he have realized this years ago, before leading me on for so long.

This happens to me like almost everytime where for example guys or a group of friends are walking and they see me but then all of them get distracted when I'm kinda close to them and almost end up crashing with me.
