Question: How to convince my friend to stop being ridiculous? Posted: 27 May 2017 05:43 PM PDT So today I went swimming with my friend Lizabeth, just before we umped into the pool she stopped me and grabbed my arm and began studying it. Turns out she was looking at my triangled shaped birthmark on my elbow. And now she's 100 percent convinced that i'm somehow part of the illuminati. Yes I know this sound like a troll but i'm being honest she's always been this way super into conspiracy theories and ****. Even if the Illuminati is real just because i have a perfect triangle birthmark does not make me a part of it. How do i convince her because now she believes i was sent to spy on her. Thank you D your words of wisdom helped me immensely. |
Question: Friendships Ending Stories? Please share? Posted: 27 May 2017 05:27 PM PDT I'm still trying to process a friendship or could say foeship ending..I feel dumb for spending so much time with this person & ignoring the warning signs (mean glares behind my back, gossip, & lack of communication). I guess I was like "why is this girl even hanging out with me if she seems pissed at me?" but guess I thought she would confront me in person if anything serious was wrong. I have tried to let this go! But we never spoke after the falling out & she just would avoid me when she saw me. Whats the deal? & if you have a similar experience please share. |
Question: Should I forgive him for this? Posted: 27 May 2017 05:19 PM PDT I had a best guy friend for three years, but it felt like we've known each other for years. Anyway, we didn't like each other, but he kept coming on to me til I hit my breaking point. We got in a huge fight then we went our separate ways. Weeks later, he spreaded horrible rumors about me. Many people that I thought were my friend turned on me because of the rumors. This affected me mentally and emotionally. My grades began to drop because of it. After all the madness I began to forget everything that is going on. But, weeks later he calls me to apologize and gave me a reasonable, but unacceptable excuse of an answer. He kept apologizing l, but after all that damage he has cause me... should I move on with or without him? |
Question: How to stop thinking about a guy? Why am I thinking about him in the first place? Posted: 27 May 2017 04:52 PM PDT I liked this guy nearly 2 years ago when our friendship was amazing, although he stopped talking to me abruptly because I ''reminded'' him of a girl he recently met on a cruise (that he hated) and even when he started talking to me again, it wasn't like before. When we started talking again last year he'd stop replying instantly and instead take days or weeks to reply and whenever I confronted him about it he said I was overreacting, this year however I told him that I wouldn't consider him a friend (after all that crap, why wouldn't I?) and he again said I was overreacting. Well even afterwards he'd say hi and i'd ignore him until he said hi on my birthday and didn't even remember it so I finally told him off again. It's been 2 months since then but even when I was ignoring him I found myself checking his instagram or facebook just to see if he was doing anything, I have a boyfriend now and absolutely don't like him but I just have the urge to see him. Even in school I find myself looking at him whenever I see him pass by. I don't even know why i'm thinking of him when I don't like him and I already told him my feelings. Even if I wanted to talk to him again, there's no way it would be the way i'd like it to be where he actually responds. Any advice on how I can stop? |
Question: I need advice on my current situation? Posted: 27 May 2017 04:41 PM PDT I'm very interested in a guy that I met at college back in March. We just got done school 2 weeks ago, but while we were in school we started to get to know eachother and hung out very often. We went over our intentions from the beginning and he told me that he wasn't necessarily looking for a relationship because of how rough his last one was, but he wanted to get to know me and see where things went. Although he considers us "friends", during this time we have kissed, met eachother's mom's (when they came to move us out of school - he asked to meet mine and then told me his mom would love me), and we also helped eachother move out (he lifted all of my heavy stuff and would not let me help when I tried). My biggest fear once school ended was losing touch because I am hoping that this forms into something next semester. We have not been communicating as often as we were when we were 5 minutes away from eachother, but when we do, the conversations are great. Yesterday, I had a family function to go to and he saw pictures from it. He told me that I took his breath away, said I was beautiful, and said he promises he'll come see me soon. Although we do not talk every day and sometimes there are 3-4 days with no contact, these seem like good signs right? How do I continue to show interest without looking too eager? |
Question: How to break off a trip with a friend? Posted: 27 May 2017 04:28 PM PDT So i got tickets to a concert in Chicago and i was gonna go with my friend because she loves the band. Her parents are okay with it and everything but i kinda dont want to take her but i cant just tell her off. I dont want to take her because shes been kinda rude and annoying lately. Any ideas on how to tell her she cant go? |
Question: What do i do to get out of my comfortzone? Posted: 27 May 2017 04:12 PM PDT I have social anxiety and I am really an awkarded person. I havent got friends because I am awkward, whenever I go out with friends or be in group I feel so helpless or I feel like a kid that can't do anything unless someone helps him. I dont even get out often and I dont even have friends anymore. All i do is stay in home, check out youtube(I dont even watch anything, i just pass time). |
Question: How to deal with a friend who cuts? Posted: 27 May 2017 03:43 PM PDT So, my friend started showing me cuts all around her wrist and hips, and she said she accidentally put on a short skirt, and some of her cuts were visible (which I think is a call for help). However, she is not a good friend of mine, regarding the nomerous of fights of ours, a lot of talking behind my back and her constantly pressuring me to start smoking and drinking. I do know the best way to stop someone from cutting is by talking to her personally about it, but I can not imagine that happening naturally due to the fact I can't stand her at all. I do wish her well, but I do not want to have any contact with her at all. Nevertheless, I think it could be possible that this could turn out to a Hannah Baker-case, and I don't think it is a good idea to keep this a secret. Is it wrong of me to tell a teacher? |
Question: Why can't I get along with girls? Posted: 27 May 2017 03:29 PM PDT I'm a female and unlike the other girls bragging about making friends with guys, I find it annoying. I feel like I am missing out on a lot not having many female friends, like the slumber parties, the girl talk, and all the traveling. I find it annoying how only guys want to be friends with me without me even trying, but yet I feel like I'm being ignored when I try to befriend other women or I'm trying too hard. I hate the attention I get from guys. I used to be friends with a guy until he realized I wasn't interested in a relationship & we stopped talking. Guys can be just as devious as girls are. The older guys are just irritating, make me feel objectified, and I hate the attention I get from them? I don't need too many guy friends if I have a whole lot of male family members. |
Question: Is there something wrong with my best friendship? Posted: 27 May 2017 03:29 PM PDT If you are in a long distance best-friendship, and you re-unite after almost a year of not seeing each other, should there always be hugging and squealing like in all those you tube videos? Or what if it's only been a few months? Maybe I've been watching too many reunion videos, but to be honest ours was kind of... lack luster. |

Question: Should I Quit The Band? Posted: 27 May 2017 01:36 PM PDT I'm in a girl group called B4mytime. I'm 14 years old and I'm considering quitting. I was in this band for about 2 years now (and yes we take it seriously.) Our performances are fire and they used to be fun. These girls are honestly my best friends, however, being a high school student I have to deal with other people's crappy opinions. We had one bad performance in year 8 (Which wasn't our fault) in a nutshell the performance was in front of our whole year group and because the teacher in charge of all the performances favoured Becca's voice over the rest of us so she gave her most of the song. Sarah and I had a measly verse to share between us. I was so nervous I had a voice crack on stage however since Becca had more experience on stage and also had lots of the song. She sounded beautiful, Sarah did too but I sounded terrible. Fast forward a year later and I'm still dealing with the fallout. I get called names like bootleg Beyonce etc. Becca says they're just jealous but jealous of what. She gets all the cool opportunities like exclusive trips etc. Which is really disheartening because I put by far the most time and effort into planning our performances all they do is learn the lyrics and maybe if I'm lucky they suggest a song or two. I kinda want to go solo maybe even start a youtube channel but I'm not sure I'm good enough.. What should I do? |
Question: How do I stop being such a controlling husband? Posted: 27 May 2017 01:31 PM PDT We are on a strict budget. She's a stay at home parent and I work. I know I'm a little controlling but she tells me that I am trying to keep her away from her friends. She has a friend who has two kids and we have 3 and they are friends. They hangout at least twice a week. She used to go over there about 2-3x's a week but I asked if she could go over there once a week and they come over once a week instead of 3 times a week. Now her friend works and she hangs out with her husband who is a stay at home dad. So I feel like she hangs out with him more than her actual friend. I think that's why I also tightened up on the "gas" budget. Now she has been friends with them for around 18yrs. I know I am being a idiot. But any advice would be nice. |
Question: Is this girl serious or maybe playing? Posted: 27 May 2017 01:29 PM PDT I know this woman, 28 year old (I'm 32) and she knows I'm into UFO and aliens. But recently she has been asking me if I'm an alien. Like she says it like realistic. And she think l have super powers. She says she psychic and questions me. That she also had a huge drawn of me, like l pull her in. She is in love with me too. Why is she doing this? I asked her once and she said l have to reveal to her that I'm some sort of inhuman. Shes also into numerology and psychic stuff. She scares me and say no, l don't have super powers. |
Question: My mom won't let me go to the mall with my friends? Posted: 27 May 2017 01:21 PM PDT My mom says I'm too young but I'm 12 (13 in 2 weeks) and I have a cell phone. I would be going with 4 friends and one of their parents would also be in the mall just not following us around. How do I convince her to let me go?? |

Question: I get made fun of for looking better in pictures? Posted: 27 May 2017 01:12 PM PDT let me start off by saying, it's only like 3 people who "make fun" of me, however it still annoys and angers me. okay so, in pictures of course I use angles, tilt my head and stuff. but I don't see how it's so bad? for the most part I look the same. except pimples (I cover with makeup, and I only have a few) and I look A BIT skinner. that's not a reason to call me "catfish" though? it annoys me I need advice. I can't help my picture taking? |
Question: Online friend help?? Posted: 27 May 2017 01:09 PM PDT So one of my internet friends just heard about a job opening in New Jersey and she's waiting to see if she got the job or not. I and my family are supposed to be visiting her this week, we're flying over there, and I don't know what to tell my parents if she gets the job, because I haven't told them about it yet and I'm scared that when I tell, my parents will say she's a catfish and forbid me from talking to her. What should I do?? |
Question: How can I hang out with the cool people? Posted: 27 May 2017 01:03 PM PDT I'm 13 and in 8th grade and I want to hang out with the cool kids who have high quality and get all A's. The people I want to hang out with must have high quality. |

I ve been trying to get together with him for months, he always texts back, continues the convo. He s a very nice guy and I know he cares about me as a FRIEND. he is not a player at all. Anyways he just confuses me when i asked him o hag to one time he said he had baseball tryouts but that doesnt take all day. Also i will add that he hasn t been in snapchat stories or instagram photos or even his own. Which is fine. I know I m an option it is what is. Question: How to deal with your bestfriends brother, that hates you to death? Posted: 27 May 2017 12:41 PM PDT -I ve been friends with her a decade - He is around 21-ish and still in highschool - He hates me for some reason -I never talk to him, I barely do - Because of him I can t spend the night anymore - I can t come to my bestfriends graduation now because he made the whole family hate me - I don t understand why he hates me if he always follows me around and is always near me? - he talks trash about me 24/7 soon as i leave the room *i can hear him* -he leaves July going to the military -I believe he hates me because I was defending my mother and the LGBTQ community, he is racist and a homophobic. How do I solve this? I really want to go to my friends graduation, but the whole family hates me now. |
Posted: 27 May 2017 12:15 PM PDT She's a new friend I met at work and this is the first time we mamnaged to put a time aside to hang out. We work at the same mall and today's my day off. She called me on her break to see if I still wanted to hang out after she gets off. I said yes. However, I realized I have to pick my mom up from the airport tonight and she just said to call her when she's off at 5. I realized the time I need to get my mom at 7pm could affect our plans so I tried to call her back to work out a plan but she didn't answer. I'm heading in the mall to make a return anyways and my fiancé said I should just stop in her work to talk about tonight instead of waiting till later tonight? I just feel a little creepy doing that. Should I do that or no? |
Question: Why do people think that you owe them? Posted: 27 May 2017 11:36 AM PDT This is just a quick question I have. I am 18 year old forex trader. I make a whole lot of money a year, like nearly 1 million dollars, and it will continue to grow. However, people think that I owe them. They see me in my nice cars, clothes, etc and think that I am entitled to be their friends and give them something. The thing is, people never noticed me when I was a "regular person". I was bullied and overlooked. Now that I am viewed as a meal ticket to others, they want to be my best friend. In a way I like it, because I like for these people to know i have it, but refuse to give it to them. I am now looked at as "stuck up" and "arrogant", because I refuse to be a sucker for me. |
Question: Friends always wants food? Posted: 27 May 2017 11:28 AM PDT I have a friend who always asks for people's food at lunch. She has her own food but she just throws it away. The food she as isn't bad it things like chips. Also, sometimes she wouldn't ask she'll just take the food. If you don't give her food she'll act like a sad dog. |
Question: Why do my ex best friend don't speak or say "Hi" to me anymore? Posted: 27 May 2017 11:21 AM PDT Ok first of all I never said and done anything to her for to gossip and treat me mean. We were best friends in middle school. I was in 8th and she was in 7th. Just one day she just started to act funny towards me and one of my siblings. Even though she admitted she loves to gossip about people. She did lost so much friends including nest friends. Now as adults she be talking to them and trying to be their friend including the ones who done her bogus. Anyway I'm over it but I'm still curious like I be saying hello and ask how she is doing. She would respond like is uncomfortable. I just don't understand. If its jealousy or not. She claimed we grew apart which it doesn't make any sense because why did she bullied me outside and inside high school. She never answered my question when I asked her if she had anything against me and if I have done something to her. She said no. It honestly hurts a little just the simple fact she is willing to be all nice and stuff to her ex friends and besties accept for me. Now she does sees me and don't say nothing. Like I said I have nothing against her but I just wanna hear your guys opinion that's all. |

Question: Should I Call and Congratulate my Friend? Posted: 27 May 2017 10:26 AM PDT My coworker who is also my good friend is buying a house. We've been talking about it since the beginning of the process and he's been giving me updates throughout the whole process. Yesterday, on Friday, he told me at work that they were going to sign the final loans and the down payment was going to get wired the next day, and they were going to get the keys. Should I give him a ca/text seeing how everything went these past couple days and officially congratulate him on being a homeowner or should I wait for the next workday in three days which is on Tuesday? |

Posted: 27 May 2017 09:22 AM PDT This lecturer is cold, distant and very serious , but when she looks at me in the hallway , she always nods and gives me a brief smile. That is a little awkward because she is an indifferent type of person and it happens only with me and not other students and we are around 70 students in her lecture . I am a bit worried because she might fail me in the end because she recognize me . Is that possible ? Ps : We are both females so theres no sexual chemistry and stuffs like that at all! |
Question: Does having friends in high school matter? Posted: 27 May 2017 09:17 AM PDT I am a freshman and I don't really have many friends at my school, just rather people I talk to. I don't get invited to parties or things, which I don't really care, but it would still be nice. It's not that people dislike me it's just that I guess I don't talk to a lot of people. I don't really do much on weekends, and that's fine, because I've always felt that I'm much more of an independent person. But anyways, I was wondering, does having Friends in high school matter? Will it affect anything? What are the odds I will see any of these people after I graduate, obviously other than Social media and high school reunions? |
Question: How to ask my new friend to FaceTime? Posted: 27 May 2017 08:33 AM PDT I recently made a new friend but she lives very far away from me. I asked her to FaceTime a few weeks ago and she couldn't but she said maybe on one of the weekends. I can FaceTime her right now but I feel like it might be awkward if I ask her. Do you think it will be awkward? |
Posted: 27 May 2017 08:27 AM PDT So my best friend aka only friend. I've kinda been pushing her away not purposely but I'm getting bored and tired of her. What ticked me off recently was that whenever we hang I always drive us to places. I never charge her for gas because I thought it wouldn't be right to. Ok so last time I drive her somewhere we only had an hour to hang and I chose to because I was bored and I missed her. I begged her if we could go to the gym and she said "I promise next time". I agreed and then we went to Walmart because she wanted to buy something. I basically wasted my gas just for her to use my gas. Whatever I drop her off thinking nothing of it and then the next hangout day comes around she texts me "let's go to the gym" I say "ok I'm getting ready" then she says "how about let's go in 2 hours" I said "nvm maybe next week since I know u don't wanna go right now" all she said was okay "sorry". Like wtf it's my ******* car and u decide the time when we waste my gas? Also she had church every weekend so I only get to hang once a week usually. She only ever talks about the same shut. I don't see her growing up anytime soon so is this friendship even worth it? |
Question: What are some activites I can do to hang out with my friends? Posted: 27 May 2017 08:07 AM PDT I'm planning on hanging out with 2 of my friends but the thing is, they're both guys. Now the problem is, is that I don't have the slightest clue on how to hang out with guys alone! I can talk to them easily but I want to know an activity that all of us would like, and of course going shopping is out of the question as well as a restaurant. Both of them just graduated too whereas i'm nearing my senior year and I don't actually know them as well. We were just in band for 1 year together before I quit my junior year so if there's any fun things that guys enjoy doing then i'd love to know about it. I'm not all to picky about activities as long as they can keep you engaged. |
Question: How do I tell her nicely and believably that I don't have the money? Posted: 27 May 2017 07:56 AM PDT Ok so a friend of mine that I'm more of just an associate with now asked me for money for a pregnancy test. In the past, she's always asked me for money favors and even has taken advantage of me. So I distanced myself. So i smoke a lot (just weed) so she knows I always have money. So it's kind of not believable if I say I don't have money. How do I say no in a believable way? |
Question: How to deal with a b*tch? Posted: 27 May 2017 07:00 AM PDT A girl at school has wen nothing bu men after a falling out between us. Anything I do she'll glare at me, once in class I started cracking my knuckles and she stared me dead into eyes and waited till I stopped then 10 minutes later she cracked her knuckles. When I coughed she said "your disgusting f*cking stay home". She's like the the cliche mean girl in all cheesy high school movies, the girls that don't actually exist except here she is. Sure I can tell on her but unless she physically harmed me, there's nothing anyone can do. I'm so tired of putting up with her petty sh*t, she's 17 and needs to grow tf up. It sounds stupid but I'm scared of her, she hates my one friend just for being associated with me and she talks back to her but me being me just takes her sh*t. |

Question: How can people with friends and feel lonely? Posted: 27 May 2017 05:53 AM PDT A lot of people, even popular people, feel lonely even though they have friends. Even if they have family. How can this be possible?? I've talked to a lot of people on instagram etc. who has like 400 followers (that feels like a million to me) who told me that they feel lonely. I mean you have 400 followers!! You must know at least 50 of them!! How can you be lonely then?? I have no followers on my private instagram that I know in real life, because I simply don't have friends, no one to talk to. So that's why I feel lonely (i think i do). But how can popular people feel lonely?? *How can people with friends feel lonely? |

Question: How to deal with a sister in law? Posted: 27 May 2017 05:05 AM PDT Sorry It's a long post! My sister in law, my best friend and I were friends in high school but she wanted to steal my best friend. I was dating her brother and she never liked me. All of her stopped talking to her because of her rude behavior towards everyone. Me and my best friend stopped talking to her as well but I was still dating her brother. After 5 years I got engaged to her brother and she seemed nice when I talked to her and we occasionally talked. But 2 days ago I was on a call with my fiance and she grabbed the phone and asked me how I am and i said I am good. so she said are you sure you are good because I am taking English class so you are gonna do my homework. And i said well I might not feel good about that. and then she said oh send your good pictures because you look ugly and fat and all the worse things you could of, you look like it. I am 5'2 and I weight 132 lbs. I was pretty confident with my looks and I never suffered low self esteem but her words hurt me a lot. It's been 3 days and i can't stop crying. I always look in a mirror and think, Am i ugly? I know I have to lose some pounds and I am working on it but what she said was not okay. My fiance apologized to me on her behalf but It's not okay. because I am not mad at him. How do I gain my confidence back and my self esteem? Please help Please don't be rude Any websites that could help me? |

Question: Is my friend using me too take my social circle or and I just being paranoid? Posted: 27 May 2017 03:09 AM PDT Hi, I need a new insight on this situation. I have this friend whom I set up with one of my male friends, me and this guy were really close and I felt like they would be good together. And they were, they have been together for a while now. However he never sees me anymore since and I dont understand why, he's given me indications that she doesn't want him too, but I'm not too mad because it's fair enough that he sees her a lot and not me as they are dating. My issue is when she started talking to another one of my male friends and without telling me, which I guess is too, okay. But then she started meeting up with him all the time without me and lying about when they were going out so I couldn't come? Now I haven't seen him in months too, he has given me indications that she told him I wasent interested in going out with him anymore and I'm not sure why she would tell him that. Lately she's been asking too be introduced too my other male friends but or some reason not female? She also makes me do all the work making the friends as apprently she is too shy too do so and then as soon as I have starts talking too them?Shes been a bit rude too me lately and only wants too go out with me if a male friend is invited and even saw the other night that no males were going out on our outing and saw it as a waste of money and asked me too pay for her! Am I just being silly or is there an issue here?why would she do this anyway?? Just seen that i put 'and' and not 'am' in the title whoops! |
Question: My friend is telling everyone Im jealous of her, when I think its the other way around.? Posted: 27 May 2017 02:49 AM PDT My friend used to work together,we became friends quickly.I didnt know it started when I won a employee of the month plaque, it wasnt a big deal to me.Moving on I left, she left but we still were friends a year later she brung up that I didn't deserve because she been there years more than I have.I forgave her for that comment even though it was extremely rude.We started working in separate places, but she lost her job, so i told her apply for keyholder at my store my manager will hire anyone i recommend, so she did.I did not know this would be the beginning of hell for me. As soon as she got the position she started to rub it in my face and say thats why Im manager and you're not. Our store manager is close to employees so I think she caught wind of whats going on. My friend called and asked me why was she told that she won't be working the same shifts as I am I said idk,the same reason why ny sister and I are not on the same shifts, which is true. She seemed angry but I didn't know why,so I asked to be put on the same shift sometime,it never happened of course.so the store manager was transferring and we was under new management and we was scheduled with me for the first time, the second day I was surprised she stopped me from doing my project to put something away that usually she does. It got busy and I was helping customers and I asked would she go ahead and do it instead, she got angry with me and said I am a manager I will (Cont.) |

Question: Is it rude to call someone big? Posted: 27 May 2017 02:14 AM PDT I went to a mental health camp as a volunteer, and one of the patients there started talking to me. One night, we were talking, and the patient suddenly said to me: "You're big. You're big, you're big, you're big, you're big. Do you have big parents?" Without thinking, I said "Yes" He went: "Hmmhmm!" The next day, me and the group went to a canteen. I was standing near the counter, and the same patient was there. Again, he said to me: "you're big", bended his elbows, clenched his fists and pumped his elbows outwards and inwards in relation to his comment. He then walked up to one of the other patients (who had her back turned and didn't know what was going on), turned to me and said: "See, same height! But she's small! *points at me* You're big!" From what I understand, being big means taking up a lot of space. Now this was quite hurtful and offensive, and also unnecessary. I reported him to the camp coordinators, and they contacted the patient and his casework and made him write an apology letter to me. |
Question: What do you think about them? Posted: 27 May 2017 02:08 AM PDT This guy get quiet and doesn't talk to her female friend when She is with her boyfriend. Posted: 26 May 2017 11:53 PM PDT I'm moving into my new apartment next week and I'll be having to buy a lot of stuff, like kitchen appliances and furniture, myself. I have several Amazon wishlists of things that I'll need sorted by price (20 and under, 50 and under, and 100 and up) and I'd like to share it with my friends and family so if they want to get me a housewarming gift, they'll actually know what I want/need and won't be buying things I have no use for. But how can I let them know about it without making it seem like I'm pressuring them/begging them to buy me stuff? And no, I can't use Facebook because half of my family doesn't even have it. |

Question: Problem with accepting reality? Posted: 26 May 2017 10:52 PM PDT So I'm 14 and finishing up the school year and will go into high school. I have asked my dad about his friends growing up and he doesn't keep in touch with a lot of them at all which I could understand bc they didn't have phones back then, but I'm so sad I will be split up from my friends and feel as if everyone will forget about me and I will grow up like my dad not keeping in touch with old friends. I try to keep in touch with EVERYONE I can. I feel as if no one else cares about this type of stuff. I know when I'm older that I won't be hanging out with friends 24/7 like the good old days but I don't want to be forgotten about or seperated from my friends. Is this normal to think about? Should I just try to face reality and move on? |
Question: How to deal with an inconsiderate host at a sleepover? Posted: 26 May 2017 10:26 PM PDT I'm at a sleep over with my friend. Posted: 26 May 2017 09:36 PM PDT So my roommate will be on his phone while I'm trying to sleep. So one day when he was in the shower I looked through his phone, his fault for nit locking it right? Well he only has like 40 contacts the only person he texts is his mom and brother. How sad right? Well I forgot to turn his phone back off, when I confronted him he had a smug look because he said he knew I'd look through his phone so he deleted his friends numbers and texts and stored the contacts in a file on his Mac, how paranoid and lowering is that? Do you believe what he said and why wouldn't he lock it? |

Question: Online Friend-Making/Dating? Posted: 26 May 2017 09:23 PM PDT Okay, so I'm a sophomore in high school. Often times I find myself a little bit lonely because I'm less social compared to my other friends. The solution I found to this is making friends online. I'm on an app MEANT for teens looking for friends (specifically). Of course finding friends is my first and foremost goal, but if something more were to come out of a friendship I wouldn't be opposed to it. My question is: Is it dumb/bad for me to "date" online while I'm still in high school? This app has an age limit, and I don't talk to anyone more than a year older than me (age wise not grade wise) nor do I talk to anyone younger than me. I take precautions (i.e I don't message them if they only have 1-2 pic on there profile, I stop messaging them if they start to give off the wrong vibe, etc.). I just wanted some opinions, so please be polite. |
Question: Why is my friend acting like this? Posted: 26 May 2017 08:53 PM PDT When I go skateboarding at my local skate park there is this younger kid who acts kinda devilish towards me. He is always standing right in my peripheral vision when I'm skating instead of getting out of the way(he stands about a foot away from the obstacle i'm skating). And every time I almost fall he makes it seem like a big deal and it gets in my head. I think he does this to mess me up so he seems like the better skater but I honestly don't care. I just want to skate and have fun, but this kid is annoying me.I call him a kid because he is 18 and I'am in my twenties. How should I fix this situation? I rather not approach him about it but its getting annoying.Suggestions? should I give him a taste of his own medicine? |
