I ask my girlfriend to marry me 2 months ago, and she said she wants to work on herself. She need to learn to be happy for her own self. She need to be able to stand on her own two feet. She had some family..sickness in the family that was for a few years. She is pushing 30 and I want to get married, and have kids before its to late I told her I want to have kids (she does too) and i want to have them soon. Before it's to late, and it doesn't seem like we are any closer getting married. She just got mad at me, and said she knows people in their 40a who are having kids, and she has friends who are older than she is who have yet to have kids. And pretty much ended are phone call.

THIS MAN IS 31 YEARS OLD HE SHOULD KNOW HIS FEELINGS BY NOW I've been on family vacations with him spent holidays have a key to his house but.. been with him for 9 months and he hasnt said " I LOVE YOU YET" he calls me "Love" and says he has "love for me " but never says "i love you" just wondering is this too long to wait for those 3 special words? he says he gets in moods where he feels like he could be in love with me but then snaps out of those "moods" and thinks he just really likes me its painful because i know i love him and i feel like he's barely there emotionally and last time i brought it up he said "why is saying the L word such a big deal to you how would that make our relationship any different"& claims since its been less than a year he feels that hes invested enough so far and saying "i love you " would be too much & comparing me to how his ex wife & ex gf's f**ked him over thats what almost makes me lose my patience with him cause i feel like im being punshed for other womens mistakes i dont know what to do i want marriage not to be a GF FOREVER it's been making me so depressed & it's been hard for me to actually enjoy being around him & life in general ....With this ex wife he claimed it took him 7 months to propose to her so why the f**k is it taking him so long to realize his feelings ? he now makes me feel like im rude and insenstive to his feelings when i bring it up and i feel like im dying inside I DONT WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT HIM BUT IM MISERABLE he tells me im expecting too much too soon and brings up me being only 22 and hes more exprienced than me thats why he's taking so long to fall for me then i said "it shouldnt be so hard to feel feelings" and he said "well not everyone is like you its not fair to assume that! anyways im about to my BREAKING POINT and about to tell him IF HE DOESNT SEE ME AS "THE ONE" EITHER HE FIGURES OUT IF HE REALLY WANTS LOVE & MARRIAGE WITH ME OR LEAVE IS THIS A WISE THING TO DO?

I met my fiance because I was best of friends with her before I even met him (she was my boss at the job I had that got me through high school/college) and I wanted to do something fun at the reception with her. A game, anything! Something of the same nature as throwing the bouqet. Nothing is too weird between me and her so give me all your ideas!! Something funny embarressing sweet anything!! I just purchased a gift for the couple online an hour ago and I sent it to my house. It's getting here tomorrow. I did it because I wasn't sure if the couple would receive a notification or not and if they would be able to pick it up that day (since their wedding is in 3 days) so I just wanted to be safe. I also wanted to wrap it for the wedding but I didn't want it to be wrapped for us-it would have been $6 for that. But then... their address was an option too and it would've probably been easier for them instead of having to take a bunch of wedding gifts to their home. But what's one more right? Anywaaaay.... what's your opinion??

My 10-year-old niece really wants to be included in our wedding this summer and I'm having a terrible time figuring out a role for her. I feel that she's too old to be a flower girl, and I don't want any junior bridesmaids. Her dad is a groomsman, her mom is my hairstylist as well as the MC, and her older sister is going to say grace at the reception. My friend is getting married and I'm in his wedding party and don't know how much to give? His wedding is an upscale wedding at a castle in Long Island (over $100K). Tux rental is $250 staying 2 nights at the venue is $700. I hear the average price of a plate is $250 at the venue. I just graduated college and I was thinking of giving $200 since I'm not marrying into money like my buddy is, is that fair enough? Suggestions?

For those saying it's not wise to have a joint account... She has her own account and it was MY choice for my account to be joint. I prefer her keeping track of the finances and so far it's been working great, saves me the headache. To each their own.

I confronted by fiance about secret nude photos he took of me and his constant staring at women in front of me when we go out in public together and his flirting with a coworker. Now he is contrite and remorseful and has wiped his flashd drives clean and is getting rid of porn magazines. Says he wants to be the man I dream of. That this is the ugly side of him. Not sure if I can trust him on what he is doing and telling me since he has lied in the past. Old habits die hard. I am seeing a counselor as it has driven me to depression and I am currently on anti-depressants. i recommended a counselor for him (my counselor gave me a name of someone) as I see some of habits may be a form of addiction. Only a counselor can determine that. He says he always respects me, but I don't see any of that as a sign of respect when he secretly takes nude photos of me and blatantly stares at women to the point of it being very obvious to me. I am tired of putting up with these behaviors. I am just not there on forgiving him, at least not yet.
