Question: What to do about your fiances inconsiderate family? Posted: 22 May 2017 04:06 PM PDT My fiances family is very inconsiderate. They have 6 children under 3 and I was going to put them in the wedding & have them taken to the nursery for the rest of the ceremony because my fiancé and I both agree that there WILL be something go wrong if they stay in the ceremony. My family is paying for it and I could say no kids at all but I wanted to put them in it as a nice gesture to them but that isn't enough for them. They made a big deal saying they want the kids in there while the ceremony is going on. They said "it will separate the family" "this is a kid oriented family" and it really upsets me because they won't see my side that maybe I don't want children going crazy at my wedding ceremony. Most are under 2 & won't understand anyways. But I feel very disrespected by this. I could say I don't want children there at all. I put the children in it to make them happy but nothing will please them. I just feel like they won't try to view it from my point of view. Plus they do a lot of other inconsiderate things and my fiancé stands up for me but they just keep being inconsiderate. Like his parents put my mom on the kids board while bowling and put a 3 year old on the adult board. It really hurt my feelings and made me feel disrespected. I look up to my mom and I felt like that just belittled her. They even got mad because we left his daughter in daycare an hour longer because I had to go get stitches in my hand one day. What should I do about this? I feel so disrespected |

Posted: 22 May 2017 09:32 AM PDT My boyfriend is from Turkey and he said that the jeweler in Turkey told him that engagement rings are bands, and the wedding rings are diamonds. I'm not trying to be shallow, but I was disappointed, and I'm having a hard time believing that that's true. Is it true that its that way in Turkey? I think he just didn't have the money or something. If someone can shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it. I know its not about the ring, and it's about the man, and I'm not trying to be shallow but I've been wondering about this. Thanks |
