Where I go all the people dresses the same, talks and acts alike. The women are all in long skirts, dresses and long hair and the men are all in dress suits. The preacher always teaches how men should be many and masculine and how they should take charge and how women should be feminine and girly. They condemn shorts for a woman, and for woman to have short hair, and they call non masculine men 'boys', or 'not a real man' and greatly looked down on. Masculine women are condemned also. My father is somewhere around 53 years old, and I know he chews tobacco. I always hear him coughing.. but today I was sitting outside, and my dad was in his car leaving for work. He was in his car for a few minutes and I looked over at him and for the first time, i saw him pressing something that looked like a cigarette on his lips. I don't think he saw me, but he starting driving and coughing. Sometimes, he smells funny.. like cigarettes and something else. Is that just his tobacco? I've seen his tobacco in his drawers and stuff, but I never seen cigarettes, or weed with him or near him. Please help! Do you all think he's smoking? If so, is it weed? Or just tobacco?

I've liked this guy I work with, for almost a year. He's 25 and married with kids, I'm 26 and single with no kids. He started becoming distant in January and I always wondered why.
