I'm 17 and sometimes take naps after school. I go to bed pretty late and get 5-6 hours of sleep per night. I'm usually pretty tired so i like taking afternoon naps. My parents get really mad at me when I do this. Apparently i'm a "lazy piece of ****" who won't get off her ***. My dad was like lecturing me last night about taking 3 hour long naps after school. My mom was all angry because I've been alone in my room more often (I go in my room once I get home from school and only occasionally come back out either for dinner or something else). I have been experiencing severe depression symptoms for the last year or so and suicidal thoughts more recently, which I think could be contributing to my habits. My parents don't know about this though. I just don't understand why they're so angry at me

In Brazilian american I haven't been to Brazil in about 7 years. My mother and sister are going there soon and would like to take me. Sort of like a cultural enrichment. the issue is my father is staying and both my mother and father are telling me why i should go to Brazil with my mother and sister and why i should stay with my father. I sort of want to stay but i keep changing my mind. I dont know what to do and i dont want to disappoint my mother or father or sister. Please help me. My father says I should stay. (native Brazilian gave me a whole list of reasons) same goes for my mother except she wants me to go and gave me a whole list of reasons why. I kind of want to stay but I keep changing my mind. I'm 19, male, I have two sister in their mid 20s, and I'm still being treated as like a kid. Whenever there is an event, my mom always tells my sisters like a week or a few days ahead, but she tells me about it the same day its happening. Its like a don't have a life of my own. When my oldest sister broke her legs, my mom told all my aunts and uncles, they all came to see her. When my youngest sister had an important surgery, my mom told everyone about it and they came to see her. When my dad slipped at work and broke his arms, everyone knew about but when I fell at work and broke my ribs, my mom barely told anyone. She told like 3 people from my dad's family. She didn't even bother to tell her sisters, which she shares everything with. Only those few asked how I was feeling. My family never involve me with mature talks. They never share news with me. A few months ago, I was with my parents going for groceries, and my dads like go and learn how to buy groceries. I'm 19, he wants me to learn to buy groceries? They still even say I'm a kid, I'm not. If this continues, I'm going to be behind in life. My cousins who are done college, even treat me like an adult. They get me involved. My parents just don't take me seriously. I asked them what the real world is like, they respond "after you finish college, get married and settle your life". I don't even know much about taxes and stuff. I've talked with my parents, but it is useless. They don't get the message. I'm starting school soon, I'm looking for a job, and once I save money, I will support my family, but I won't be spending as much time with them. When I buy myself a car from my cousin who is a mechanic, my family will find out whenever. But I'm not going to mention it. I want to separate myself a little from my family so I can explore the world on my own, gain life experiences and self-confidence, but at the same time, I want to financially support my family. @crnio031109, how am I supposed to know where to start, if I they don't guide me? I don't know much about taxes, so what questions am I supposed to ask. I am lost with a lot of stuff. I don't know where to start My parents don't even like me having a beard, they tell me to shave it.

So I'm 13 and I never really felt like I had a childhood or a good family, I always got jealous of people at my school and there parents. The main person who makes me depressed and feel bad about my life is my father because he controls everything we do (my mom,sister, and me) he controls what my mother buys, checks the bank account every time she goes out, he follows her everywhere and he always has to be with her when she goes shopping, he put a camera in the living room and it has a sensor every time we come downstairs, if we disagree with something he gets mad and yells at us, he literally yells over everything and has anger issues. He also hit me one time and then forced me to hug him after. My mom acts like its all good when I know it's not and I just wish I could have a normal life. They try to encourage me by telling me about kids going through worse and how if they can do it, so can I. Which is true, although it makes me feel a bit upset inside. Me (29) and my gf (25) are currently living at my parents house and raising 5 of my 9 siblings (I am the oldest of 10). With my mom coming back (Both parents are cross-country truckers) next week, I am being forced to leave the house. All the money I save up goes right into the house because of a very tight food budget. Here is the problem- We are both very much broke. We have nothing saved up and are lacking jobs, so we have no choice but to move into her parents house... in the middle of nowhere, 3 hours away.. Jobs are going to be near impossible to find in the area. I don't have a license since I have never needed to drive anywhere I have lived. I have been taking care of my siblings for a long time and I am scared of missing them from so far away. Plus, I don't want to leave my parents house to her parents house. I am living with my 2 brothers in an apartment as well as 2 dogs, my stepfather, mother, stepfather's cousin, cousin's 3 daughters, and her son. It is a 2 bedroom, so naturally, it's crowded. My brothers sleep in one bedroom with my father and mother, one sleeps on the floor, the other sleeps on the bed with the parents. I sleep on the couch in the living room while the cousin's son sleeps on a bed in the living room. The cousin sleeps in her room with her 3 daughters. The 2 dogs stay outside. As simple as possible. My bf is passive aggressive and that s frustrating and draining enough when we are living in the same house trying to build a life together. But I recently noticed where it came from. Obviously growing up, any expression of anger was not accepted in his house hold. I have enough on my plate. Is this really over a Mother s Day gift? Is it really my responsibility over my own mom? These people didn t even raise him, his grandmother did. Is it worth even asking? Or just ignore it since it s only about instigating an argument from our side? I just want to add that for the most part, my boyfriend treats me well.. My girlfriend is 17 and in foster care, right now she is at home with her mom and mom s husband for some kind of test to see if the parents are ready to have her back. I just turned 15 and my parents are threatening to kick me out because of my anger issues. And I get it. I kicked a hole in the wall of our apartment that will cost a lot to fix, yes, I regret it. My friend has a lot of cousins, her family is large. We all go to the same school and there's more than seven of them and they all hang out with each other. They're a really tight-knit family, which makes me want to be part of them even more. I like to hang around with people who achieve a lot of things and are successful because this influences me to become a better person and challenge myself. Some of her cousins are in national honor society and the others are commanders and officers in our school's JROTC program. I can't really put it into words, but her and her cousins are the exact kind of people I like to hang around with and there's others who achieve a lot just like them but the fact that they achieve so much AS A FAMILY and they're always supporting each other makes me want to be one of them. I can't be related to them, but I can be their friends. But every time I go with my friend when she's around her cousins, they don't talk to me at all. It's like I'm invincible. I go over to my aunts house sometimes and while I'm there my Uncle bullies my cousin the whole time. First off, I am a college student who isn't currently working at two jobs. My parents always tell me what I do is not enough. They think I'm lazy, I mean I'll admit I get lazy at times.. but I'm just human. I've failed a few classes in college & my parents always expect me to fail more. I am very worried an anxious that I will not be passing math for the second time. All I can say is, this semester i worked really hard and I've become a little less lazier. My parents have both been addicted to crack cocaine since before I was born. I m 14 now my brother was arrested and my sister who is 6 was taken away from our family a couple of months ago. My family promised they would stop doing drugs but ended up right back on them a couple weeks later. My mom has now lost her job and is leaving the house hanging with the neighbors almost every day, then comes back in to yell at us. Anyways we are still on trial, my mom and dad are on separate cases for child abuse, and on another case to get my sister back. I feel like they have lost hope and don t really care about us anymore. We are still living with my dad s mom and they are making no attempt to move out, which is what we need to get my brother and sister back. Now that you have some background information, this is the most important decision, probably in my life. I have been subpoenaed into court, I have two choices pretty much. I can tell the truth to the judge and see what happens(most likely my parents will be arrested and I will be taken away) or I can lie and hope my parents get help and we get my sister back. The reason I m asking this here is because DCF recommended us to go to a therapist, so we did but now I m worried she will get subpoenaed and she will have to tell the court everything, being very careful about what I tell her. I don t know anymore. I need someone to talk to. I can t talk to my parents. I m not sure if I should talk to the therapist. Sorry to vent thanks.

I will only speak of one, because one is already to much to speak about anyway but one will be enough. My father is a liar, manipulator, and deceiver. He wants me to be successful but says that by going to college I would be abandoning the family. He hates that I live their but tells me I can't move out and would cry (and has, like sobbing) when I have. He hates that I am a nerd, and wants me to be a stupid brute, grunt, laborer like him, otherwise I am not a hard worker. He wants me to build my credit but hasn't filed his taxes in decades. My daughter is 20 and works full time and is a full time student and lives at home. I feel like she doesn't do enough around the house. She only cleans the living room and vacuums the house once a week. I ask her to mow the lawn everyday and she always refuses. Ok guys I'm 25 and still living at home with my mom and dad, but I am apartment shopping right now and hope to move out before August. They get mad at me because I"m never at home. I get off work at 2pm every day, but that's because I go in at 6am. I go and hang out with friends or I'm with my girlfriend. I'm not really at home unless I'm sleeping or something, and they get mad because I'm not here most the time. I remember when I used to be at home all the time and they kept telling me to go out more and now that I actually go out it's a problem. I work, I pay my bills, and I mind my business. I'm only 13 years old, but at my church youth group, there is this kid I'll refer to as CB, and he was always taking my friend TP away from me and was really rude to me and we all play minecraft, so on the hypixel (hypixel is a mc server) forums, i made a fake account protending to be called Gramer_CB (Actual real name in account) and gramer is his mc username, and i used the avatar as his real picture and i started trolling on the forums and posting his school name and city to troll and started harassing a random 23 yo i dont know irl named ally and asking for s e x as trolling, protending to be obsessed with her, and i at one point messaged the real CB's forum account saying "I am you and you are me" as a troll but he immedietiley suspected me and told me to delete and i told him it wasnt my account and also i made twitter accounts trolling the 23 yo again with cb's info. and so apparently according to multiple people our mutual friend CP and a few others, they said it escalated so much that CB's parents called the police. and now im scared i will be arrested. please help.. im crying and i want to die. i dont want to live im so scared.. im crying my eyes out and feeling depressed and worried i didnt give any info about myself IM SCARED BECAUSE HIS PARENTS DID CALL THE POLICE!!!!

I'm just wondering can a person with no ssn really get these benefits ? And if say I lost my job and had 3 kids would I really be able to survive like that? Would I be able to afford a vehicle a home and groceries (decent groceries without having to coupon) ? I recently became pretty good friends with this girl. She's fun to be around and funny and supportive and we have a good time together. But she's also gorgeous. And I don't mean makeup and straightened hair pretty, but absolutely naturally beautiful. She has Taylor Swift hair, perfect curves and an oval face. the father of my child is a dead beat. he wants to take my daughter who is 3 months old overnight. he only came to see her when she was 1 week old. I don't trust him taking her overnight or throughout the day without me. instead I tell him he can come by my house for a few hours to see her and not take her away from me. my baby is breastfed. she cries screaming frequently if my mom or brother or sister holds her and only wants me. and my mom brother and sister are the people I live with. she does the same with other strangers who try to hold her. she may let them hold her a few minutes then cries for me. in concerned she will do the same with him since he is a stranger to her.I'm geting child support. but he keeps telling me he wants to take her from my house. My fiancé is Italian and was born in Montreal, Quebec. I was born and raised by a southern family in Georgia. I'm Baptist and her family is Catholic. My father is wealthy but I don't have a ton of money or flashy things. We have almost nothing in common and yet her parents are the nicest people. They were instantly accepting of me from day one and basically treat me as though I was their own son. I told them that i would not do it until i finish my homework, which is also an incentive for me to finish early.
