Question: Is it wrong for a Teacher to drive a student home and to school ..?!? Posted: 03 Feb 2017 02:49 PM PST Okay so I'm NOT in Highschool ,im 21 and will be going to Cosmetogly school. The owner/teacher who owns is 32. He called me today about some paper work to bring in for Monday , and I said okay and I'll start in march because that will give my dad a chance to buy himself another car because we are sharing one. He said he would take me to school everyday . And I said no that's okay but thankyou that's really nice My cousin was next to me at the time of the phone call and she said that is inappropriate for him to say that ? Lol what . Is it ?? |
Question: Did I behave impolitely in this situation? Posted: 03 Feb 2017 01:05 PM PST Hey, my fiancée's father is very conservative and he is aggressive about it. We were having dinner the other night and we were on the subject of my deceased father. He was discussing politics, and asked if my father was a republican. I answered no (very politely). He snorted, and said "being a liberal is a f***ing mental disorder. Your dad was a f***king retard". He flew into a rage. I responded, saying "It's not considerate to speak ill of the dead, and it's not considerate to call someone 'retarded' if they do not agree with your viewpoints." He got even more mad and threw a bottle against the wall, and my fiancée quickly ushered me out of the house. Did I behave impolitely? |
Question: Is this taken woman/mother that I work with into me? Posted: 03 Feb 2017 11:11 AM PST She has a 3 year old and a man, but not married for some reason. I'm female/bisexual. We've only pretty recently begun talking and getting along. I've worked with her about 3 months and we've only gotten along like this for two weeks or so. She is somewhat touchy. She asked if I was happy she'd be working a particular day with me for a few weeks and I rolled my eyes, acted irritated and she laughed, pushed me gently in the back before I said that no, I liked her. A couple times she just hits my arm when she agrees with me or thinks something is funny and sometimes walks into me (? hard to explain what happens here) when talking to me. When saying I was working on getting thick/big glutes she affirmed that I was already there and also commented that I had noticeable breasts through my shirt. She was talking like she approved. Today, asked for some $1 bills as change and she said no..that I would have to go strip to get some ones. I replied that I wouldn't make it as a stripper and she said "Why? You have those C cup breasts." Cleaning something at work, she walked up close to me and said "every inch of that better be clean" in a playfully bossy voice and I said something about how if she was manager I wouldn't do sh+t. She walked off smiling and said "oh girl you are so..." and didn't finish. I know that there's some excitement in my eyes when talking to her and she seems to respond positively to it. Before really ever talking to her, she did randomly tell me that her daughter loves someone on youtube that has my name and said that she thinks of me when her daughter goes on about her. Again I didn't know her well at this point so the "I think of you when" bit stood out to me. I actually still don't know her all that well. Kept asking why I don't work Fridays (she works this day). Seems to want me around. I'm not trying to steal her away. She has a daughter with the guy. I'm just happy with a little flirting here and there if it is flirting at all. It seems pretty harmless...I've seen her and her man in pictures and he looks like he loves her. And if I was the reason something happened between them, I wouldn't be able to take his place as a guardian, etc. And honestly, I'm not a forward person at all. I couldn't do anything about it even if I wanted to. |
Question: Are Taurus Men insecure? Help! with this situation? Posted: 03 Feb 2017 08:55 AM PST I am a pisces woman in a relationship with a taurus man. A few days ago we were watching this movie together which we enjoyed. Last night, I was on instagram and noticed that one of the actors from the movie we watched, had followed me. I thought this was so weird, so I told him about it. He said "How did he even get your instagram?" And i told him, I didn't know which made it so weird. The he said "I don't buy that, I think thats a lie." I told him i wouldn't lie to him. Hes mad because I said "well thanks for calling me a liar. That's cool of you." So now hes mad. Are Taurus men like this? What should I do? |
Posted: 03 Feb 2017 08:29 AM PST I've known this really nice guy for about a year. No drugs, alcohol, etc., but emotional problems I can help with. In the very least, I want to provide extra support for him while he's in a homeless shelter (family had their own financial problems), but I don't know what to suggest. I am going to try to get him some extra socks. Any other ideas? Second part, I haven't figured out yet, which is why I'm turning to YOU! I have a bedridden husband, plus about to be an empty-nester and financially will be "down" $200/month. How much is expected from a roommate who lives in a house with you? We have a pretty big back yard. Would they be expected to help cut it, along with you? What about shared responsibilities, like vacuuming, etc? Then I thought, what if I go a bit further? What would be a reasonable expectation of him if I offered rent at only $200 / month? I also have an extra car -- trunk got wrecked, didn't report because we can't afford the $500 deductible and higher insurance payments -- but I thought about offering to let him drive it as needed, but under what conditions? Of course gas and "added driver" insurance. Should I, maybe, offer $400, OR $300 plus use of the car in exchange for the extra help, as long as the car is working? Then we could save the $100/month to get the trunk fixed. What do you think? We'd all sign contracts if he agrees. |

Question: I'm the only girl in my class? Posted: 02 Feb 2017 08:22 PM PST I'm in grade 10 contruction, and I didn't think so few girls wouldn't be interested. The only girl in my class didn't show up(it's only been 1 class so far), and I kind of know this girl and I'm pretty sure she skips a lot of school so she probably won't be around most of the time. It's not a friends issue, I don't really have friends in ANY of my classes anyway lol. It's just I feel like I really stick out and it's pretty awkward :/ |

Question: What do I do if my teacher is being aggressive toward me? Posted: 02 Feb 2017 05:07 PM PST Today in class I asked my math teacher a question during work time. It should have been a simple, choices A or B question, but I felt he made it more complicated than it needed to be due to my way of thinking with the subject. The way he was explaining it made it really confusing for me, so I politely asked a follow up question. He then slammed his hand on his desk and aggressively said "no" and kept explaining in the aggressive tone of voice. After he finished, I, on the verge of tears, said "you didn't need to be aggressive about it" and he snapped back "i wasn't aggressive." after which I started sobbing. Who would I report it to? What do I do? |
