Question: My friend gets mad at me whenever I sit with my other friends, what do I do? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 05:53 PM PST So I have a friend and I'll call her Emma for this, Emma is my best friend and I've known her for a very long time. This year a girl named...hmm let's call her Ava is in our class and recently Emma has been hanging out with Ava a lot. I have been feeling left out, but then I made some new friends and I usually talk, hang out and sit with them, and I actually enjoy there company. Emma however always gets mad whenever I sit with them and she feels "left out" when really she's always sitting with Ava and they never come to sit with us. I would love it if we could all sit together but it isn't that easy, what should I do? Should I tell a teacher? I'm honestly sick of her always getting mad at me, and since I know everyday she's going to get mad at me at school I get anxiety and I don't like that. What should I do? |

Question: I hate being a teenager, what should I do? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 05:19 PM PST I'm a highschool freshman who entered highschool without my two closest friends. I cried every night for a time, and subsequently felt nothing for a few more months. I have friends but I just can't replicate the connections I once had with people. I have a slightly younger sister who I used to have lots of fun with, but things change with age. She's addicted to her iPad and she uses it for hours on end, oftentimes when I'm trying to do something with her. I find it really frustrating because highschool is absolute crap and I just want to be happy with SOMEONE. I use my phone a lot, but I can stop while on the other hand my sister doesn't know how. I love my dad but I can't talk to him like I can my sister or my friend. I just feel cheated of my sister and right now I'm blaming highschool and iPads. I only have a couple years left with my family and I hate it and this is not how I want things to be. I feel no one understands - I know people do, but what good is that when I can't see or hang out with those people? I don't want my life to be lonely, I'm really scared. I don't know what to do or what I need or if things will get better but could someone please just tell me something? I used to be so happy, I want it to be like that again. Why do things change? Why? |
Posted: 19 Feb 2017 04:46 PM PST We were friends in 11th grade and he teased me that I liked a mutual friend even though he knew that I didn't. All of a sudden in 12th grade, I think my friend told him that I like him (not sure) and he just looking at me everyday in the hallways. He is shy but when I look at him, he doesnt look away. Is he physically attracted to me or are there feelings? |

Question: What are some ways to encourage your closest friends without sounding condescending? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 02:51 PM PST If someone confides in you to share a traumatic event/ very bad circumstance that you cannot relate to, how can you be there for them? Especially if they seek an answer. How can you help when you really don't have a solution? How can you encourage something to stay strong through a hardship you have no experience in? |
Question: Should I send them the text or report them to the office? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 02:29 PM PST I am a senior in high school and I am the only girl in my group of friends. Two of the guys in my group tend to slap my butt which I find completely disrespectful. When I tell them to stop, they don t slap it for somewhat more than a month until they do it again. It has been the 3rd - 4th time that I have told them to stop and threatened them to accuse them in the office. Nobody else in the group says anything and they are the only group of friends that I have. I don t want to be by myself during lunch and I don t like that they have done that. I am thinking of sending them a text giving them a final threat so that they know for sure. And if they do it one more time, I will go to the office for sure. They haven t done it in a while but they were talking about it on Friday and I felt really embarrassed and I told them that if they do it again I will go to the office but since everyone was talking at the same time, I don t think they heard me. Would this be a good idea? Or should I report them now? |
Question: How can I help my friend? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 01:22 PM PST So my best friend is gets like no respect in her house. Her parents aren't abusive to her. They just don't give her any freedom at all, they don't take her wants or needs into consideration, and they don't let her make her own choices. She has a lot of anxiety and it often keeps her from going to school, but her parents thinks that if they just load her up with a bunch of medications, she'll get better when in reality, she's wayyyy les anxious when she's just around her friends. They don't seem to accept her for her and they treat her like she's five. That's just the basics. How can i help her through this, and is there anything I can say to her parents to make them realize that what they're doing isn't helping without making them hate me? |

Posted: 19 Feb 2017 12:41 PM PST I've been living with this guy for about 2 years. We live together in a two story house and basically the ground floor is mine and the second floor is his. We haven't really interacted much in these 2 years, sometimes he'll come down at my offer to eat or we just hang out in the morning before he leaves for work or whatever. He seemed like a pretty cool nice dude. But he's never allowed me up into his area ever. Ever. In 2 years. And he sometimes locks the door to the upstairs. He says his pervious roommate stole a lot from him so he just stopped wanting to deal with that ****. But the other day I knew he didn't lock it and I decided to look around because I'm a very nosey gal. The living room was like something from a horror movie, he had a taxidermy possum in there, and a shelf with a bunch of bird skulls lined up! What he uses as a kitchen/dining room is just black on black and more black. His room had a ******* deer head hung up above the bed and a bunch of little taxidermy critters and a jar was on his desk with what looked like a bunch of eyeballs which were probably fake and MORE bird bones. It was so creepy and gross! He had a couple pentagrams and **** about too which is really creepy and had a bunch of religious looking paintings but as far as I knew he was atheist. Is this super creepy or is it just me? It's been bugging me ever since. He's like a devil worshiping and death obsessed creep. |

Question: Feeling guilty about cutting someone off? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 12:21 PM PST There was a close friend of mine who I would chill with all the time for a few years now but it came to the point where I would just get irritated being around him. He has always been an oddball since ive known him. very socially awkward and doesn't have many friends. The thing is how rude he can be with a victim mentality where he can say anything that someone he wants but can't take back the slightest criticism without getting offended even if you are polite and trying to help him. Every time he would go somewhere with me someone ends up wanting to fight him for saying or doing something disrespectful. Then he will try to justify his actions. A few days ago he assaulted his own mother after she was bitching at him for being 24 with no job. He showed up my house and was feeling sorry for himself, not because of what he did but that his whole family is mad at him for it. Thats when I realized there is no more reason to try to help him and he acted like I was some sort of bully for not taking his side. For some odd reason I feel bad for him in some weird way because I honestly think there is something mentally wrong with him and I was his only friend. |
Question: My best friend s mom thinks I m dangerous ? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 12:17 PM PST I don t even know what that means. A while back I cried to my bff and said some bad stuff. Anyway, this was a year ago and the things I said were serious and scared her. My mom came over and dealt with me while I cried. I m fine now but I was just having a rough day. Her mom thinks I need help and actually took her away from me and I didn t see her outside of school for a looooooong time.we just got to be able to hang out again and now her mom is still saying I m dangerous after a year of time passing by. I m not dangerous but I did say I wanted to kill myself. I was reminded that I was loved and it s over now but I need her mom to let us hang out. |
Posted: 19 Feb 2017 11:56 AM PST I have four kids: two boys, two girls. I cannot believe these underachievers are my kid. They take after their mother, not me. Anyway, they're all adults now and thankfully they have all moved out of the house. The thing is they are probably all fertile (useless people usually are, unfortunately!), but the last thing I want is them molding kids. I did my best with them but they are a sorry lot. Some people were not meant to breed. Advice, please. |
Posted: 19 Feb 2017 11:38 AM PST i have a friend that gets shitty if you input your honest opinion without completely disagreeing with him. he seriously has anger issues. he has gone through multiple phones and even broken his steering wheel in his truck because his phone wasnt working properly i guess. my question is, he has a coolant leak in his truck and he knows this but isnt giving it any attention. so his truck is on the line of blowing up. i want to ask him if he is going to get it fixed but fear that he will retaliate and defend himself in a way that makes it seem like i am questioning his wits and im done dealing with this kind of behavior of his but with it being his truck on the verge of blowing up.. what would you do? ask him about it and then feel like you shouldnt have even asked about it or just ignore it and see what happens in the future also he drives it everyday and also to work that is 18 miles away with this leak |
Question: Is there anything wrong with not wanting any friends not even one? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 11:16 AM PST To be honest I don't want any friends I don't even want one friend I want to be alone for the rest of my life with no friends or a girlfriend I want to be alone forever. I don't want any friends and I don't even want one friend I'm good being alone for the rest of my life I don't do friends |
Question: Is the Indian name "Umayed" a boys or girls name? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 11:04 AM PST I'm talking to someone online, and I might offend them if I ask which gender they are. I'm enjoying talking to this person and I don't want to lose their friendship. Thanks! |
Question: Girls have you ever driven barefoot and not brought your shoes? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 10:55 AM PST I have. I am at my friends house now. We have to study for a test at school tomorrow. Since I just drove over here and will go home in a couple of hours I drove here barefoot and left my shoes at home. I don't need shoes for a 20 minute drive or at my friends house. |
Question: What's a good closure message to send him? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 10:34 AM PST A guy who called you names and treated you like **** on purpose. But I am christian and want to forgive and let go. Apparently he's christian too but he deeply hurt me. Called me names and played me. I believe deep down he wouldn't want to hurt anyone like this He's all I think of now and everything keeps replaying in my head. His hurtful words linger but I want to let go He clearly doesn't fare that's what he said How can someone be so heartless ? He made me physically sick and I don't understand why he would listen to what other people told him about me they made up lies and God is witness. Why would he want to hurt me so much? |
Question: Should my friends and I agree to have a FIGHT with a group of school bullies? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 10:27 AM PST My three friends and I are in 10th grade, and there's been four 11th graders who've been bullying, picking on, and tormenting us for months. They follow us after school when we're walking home and it's both verbal and physical bullying. So last week they dared us to fight with them at a certain spot. It's going to be 8 people altogether. There's so much built up anger in us that we're tempting to do it. Should we go to it so they'll stop bothering us? Need some guidance. Thanks |

Question: Would my buddy be insulted if I told him the reason I can not come to his house again? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 10:17 AM PST My buddy Bill invited me to come over to his house and hang out. When I got there he introduced me to his mom. WOW. I told Bill he was lucky to have such a beautiful mom. Bill said lets go swimming in his pool and we did. His mom came out of the house and decided to join us in the pool. OH MY GOD. Her bathing suit was the smallest I had ever seen in my life. It was a micro string bikini. It left NOTHING to the imagination. Suddenly I had a problem. I got a b0ner. I had to stay in the water until it went down. It would be totally embarrassing if either Bill or his mom knew I got a b0ner. I knew then that I could NEVER come over to Bill's house again because if I saw his mom, all I could think of was her in THAT bathing suit and something would come up. Someone please tell me how I can tell him that I can not come to his house again. Guys, is it possible he would understand my problem. Would he be insulted if I told him the real reason I could not come over and it be the end of our friendship? |
Posted: 19 Feb 2017 09:50 AM PST I have moved on long time ago, i even live in different country now because of my work. But everytime i block him on facebook he would create new account and message me again. I don't want to reply to him because i would only tell him cuss words so i prefere to ignore him. But why he is doing this?? Why he is even contacting my friends to ask about me? |
Question: Do you remember this scene from Danny Phantom.? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 09:34 AM PST How tall do you think the big girl is ? |
Question: Do I have a jealous "friend"? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 09:02 AM PST Here's what's so funny about this story, she's 41 and I'm 25. But anyways we work together sometimes but we ended up being good friends. Never had any problems with each other but suddenly she started saying weird crap. When my ex broke up with me, I was showing her pictures of the new girl he was talking to and she goes, "She's pretty" uh OKAY THANKS YEAH. Then I found out I was pre-approved for a home loan, and some of my friends were excited to start looking at houses to see what I could afford, and when she asked what was going on I told her and all she replied with was "nice". Then again at dinner one night, I was joking around that everything I ate is going straight to my butt (which is true, a large bikini bottom doesn't even cover the whole cheek) and with a completely serious face she says, "You don't have a butt" like okay not like I go around flaunting it like she does. She literally walks around wearing a pair of shorts that says, "Who needs boobs when you have this @ss" plus it's more f'd up I was just telling her how I've been going to the gym and I think my workout is working. Then she says that? When she's constantly posting pics of herself lately saying she sees "progress" because she's been going to the gym. And lastly I finally got accepted into the nursing school I wanted when she knows how stressed out I've been waiting to hear, and doesn't say a thing about it when other people were happy for me. Why the sudden behavior? |
Question: Why are my acquitances suddenly staring at me weirdly? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 08:54 AM PST They are not really my friends since I only talk to them once a week but for the past week, they have not been talking to me and avoiding me and they just stand there staring at me. |

Question: How can I stop this person from using my bathroom when I'm asleep? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 08:25 AM PST So this person that works with me that is in my house plugs my toilet and I don't want her to use it but then she uses it when I'm asleep at night. So how do I stop her from using it? The bathroom is right next to my bedroom. She can use my roommate's bathroom. |
Question: My friend had unprotected sex? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 08:23 AM PST He told me he had sex with 5 hookers during his trip to Thailand. He paid extra so he could come inside them. I am worried he got std so i try to avoid physical contact with him. He has two girlfriends and i know them. Should i warn them about this too? Because my friend always brags about coming inside his girlfriends. My relationship with him is complicated. I lost my virginity to him last year and i still have sex with him once a while but his girlfriends don't know about our secret. |
Posted: 19 Feb 2017 08:07 AM PST So two of my closest friends. One I've been knowing for over 6 years and the other I've started hanging out with for a little over 6 months are both mad at me and are saying that our friendship could never be the same after what has happened. They both told me things and I told those things back to one another and to my Mom which was an honest mistake but I tell my best friends and my Mom everything. Do I regret it? Yes I do but they are making me feel like I've done the worst thing ever. They are both making me feel like I'm a bad influence on them which I'm not. They do worst things than me and I'm pretty sure they have done worse mistakes and more mistakes than the one I made to them. The one I've been friends with for over 6 years has basically ignored me and always has been whenever she's upset with me like she barely wants to talk things out and the girl I've been hanging out with for over 6 months is basically trying to make me feel like I've done worst things than her. |
Question: Advice on friendship? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 08:03 AM PST First of all, I'd like to thank you for taking time to read my question. So, I'm a freshman in high school and I've been hanging out with the same people since like kindergarten. I've always been the "trustworthy, good listener and advice giver" type of friend so literally ALL of my friends constantly seek for my help and support. I honestly love them so much and always try to do my best in order to satisfy them and be as helpful as I can but lately I've come to realise that I never get to talk about MY problems. I never get to ask advice from them, they never wonder if I'm alright, they just don't ask me anything about my feelings. I don't exactly feel like I'm being exploited, but I definitely feel more like a psychologist rather than a friend. It's like they think I'm this emotionless, stoic human being that is too strong to feel sad or face any difficulties at all. What should I do to show them that I too sometimes need their help and that I would appreciate their advice as well? Should I confront them about it? Or should I just stop caring about their lives and focus on myself? Please, any advice would be really helpful. I'm honestly getting drained from this situation |

Question: Twin brother is a massive downer? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 07:34 AM PST My brother and I are 16. I'm a girl. I'm like always happy. Always. I look forward to everything! I love my friends and being with my family. My brother is like a giant ray of black misery though. He looks like Robert Smith the early years and just mopes around the house and quietly does his school. He has no friends and no desire for them. The like only person he interacts with is me. I haven't seen him smile in I think a couple months. He used to be happier though he's always been a total downer and pessimist. Everything is bleak and black with this guy, I tell ya. I want to cheer him up! Get him out there, have him make friends, have him be happy and chipper, maybe even see him in some color! He's like soooo miserable ALL the time. What's a good wah to cheer someone up? Make them stop being so pessimistic and maybe raise some confidence in them? And maybe open them up to try new things? |

Question: I may have pink out but i was going to go out? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 07:21 AM PST I made plans to hang out with my closest friends since elementary school today and I think I may have pink eye. We never see each other in school at all anymore and our schedules are very busy so we only get to hang out maybe 5 times a yea including the summertime. This is a big thing cause we never hang out since we don't have time and I can't just bail because of possible pink eye that could very well just be from make up getting in my eye and irritating it or the shampoo I accidentally got in my eye. What should I do |
Question: How do I make friends with this girl? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 07:20 AM PST Ok I know this girl in all my classes and I really want her to be my friend. I'm really shy so I don't know how to talk to her. I REALLY want to be her friend. Sometimes, It hurts me to see her talk to other people or laugh because I want to be with her laughing and stuff. I even hurt myself (Like pinching or cutting) because I just get this pain in my chest whenever I see her laughing with someone else. I ride the bus with her and I sit by her in almost every class, so I know I have the chance to talk to her. But, I'm SO quiet and shy. Should I write her a note? If so, would should I write? I just don't know how to approach her. |

Posted: 19 Feb 2017 06:55 AM PST Im the only one of my friends with four wheelers so sometimes I make them carry me around on my dads surfboard and worship me as if I am a king before I let them use my four wheelers. Is this bad? |
Posted: 19 Feb 2017 06:44 AM PST out of all my friends, I clearly have the most fun house. I have the HTC vive, I have 3 four wheelers and plenty of land, I have a heated pool, I have a basketball court, and I have several air soft guns. I feel like since no one else's house is even close to being as fun as mine, I can use this to my advantage and make my friends do all of my chores for me. None of them complain but I wonder if they are talking behind my back and calling me a bad friend. |

Question: Why does this girl still like my husband's stuff if he unfollowed her two years ago? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 05:41 AM PST Some girl that led him on before we got together. When we got together she had made a comment on his profile acting like they were best friends. I had never heard of her. He told me who she was and I said well why are you still following her? So he unfollowed her, but two years later here and there she is still liking his things. Funny how if he were just a friend that she went from 100 to like 10 in liking his stuff once we got together. He has never liked even one of her things since us being together, can she not know he unfollowed her? I mean really. She thought she was gonna be able to keep taking him out from under her pillow whenever she wanted until I came along. It just pisses me off the comment she made back when we first got together. |
Question: Should I be mad at my best friend? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 04:52 AM PST My friend plays with this group of people who I think she considers her friends. Although she trash talks behind their backs to me. The group and her had a bunch of drama between them in the pass. My friend then wanted me to be with her while she plays with the group of people. She wanted me to join because she was on the team of someone she really dislikes. She said if I was there the person wouldn't say anything. I was not playing the game they were in. I said I will but I won't talk to anyone. Then my friend decided to leave because I won't talk to anyone. I said why leave you chose to play with them. Then she told me that she gets picked on enough and that she would get over this joke they said to her. I don't know the joke because I wasn't there and she didn't tell me. All I know that the joke was like an insult based on context clues. I got really mad because she had the decision to be with me or the group of people. I usually try avoiding being with the group of people to protect my friend because I know that they do not treat her right. |
Posted: 19 Feb 2017 03:43 AM PST Sometimes It's really hard to tell if a friend is a friend because they genuinely enjoy your presence or maybe they just need a time pass, along with an assortment of other twisted things they enjoy about the "friendship". I'm struggling to figure out if a "friend" is actually my friend or my foe. We met in an abnormal way, but I always thought the highest of our friendship. It wasn't until I heard this "friend" tell the story of how we met to other people, that I realized I might've been a time passer/charity case(It's a long story). I have noticed the occasional odd things that this "friend" will say or do that feels somewhat like they're trying to compete with me, or make me feel like a slob/lazy or just like I come in second best to them. I *always try to turn the other cheek and shrug these incidences off but the honest truth is, I don't know what we have, I don't really feel like it's much of a friendship but we've been acquaintances for well over a year now. We keep in touch, message occasionally, meet up and let our children spend time together because they're the same age. That's actually how we met, she dropped in at my yard sale to look at the clothing I had for her child's age range, just to find out our children are just 7 weeks apart in age and very similar in size, at which point she decided to take my # and keep in contact with me. Since then, she considers me her "Best Friend" but that also does not add up. I'll add more details below!! Read on please>>> |
Question: Girls are complicated? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 03:34 AM PST I had a fight with my bestfriend. Were both in high school and its like when she says something i dont like, i accept it. When i say something she dont like she gets mad and even has the nerve to post about me several times. See, my point is, shes hard to understand. Ive said sorry already but in return, i see more posts from her talking crap about me. Shes very confident about telling everyone my secrets and making fun of my insecurity and even confident about having alot of friends. But what these "friends" dont know is that she backstabs them everytime they aint talking to her. Shes a bitchand i jist dont know why. What should i do about this? |
Question: Should I fix a fight with my bestfriend or no? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 03:12 AM PST We're both in high school and im male bi and shes a straight. And we recently had an indirect fight with each other. I've never been this fierce to her because ive always been scared of her because of her strong personality. And recently i just let go all of my anger to her and she said "she took it seriously". I exposed all of her trashtalks and backstabbing to a friend and he just doesnt believe. It sounds like he's more on her side. Im not sure if it's because of her pretty face that makes everyone charmed by her. Only few people in school knows her real attitude. I really don't want to be with her no more but she's the only person that understand me, its like we have a strong bond but its just her that is very negative. She wants to be in charge. I recently chatted her but she wasn't replying. She's been posting alot of stuff about me which triggers me because some of them are lies. I've had enough of her but i have no friend like her if i let her go. Im afraid that she'll say things about me and everyone would believe her. |
Question: Is this normal for a boyfriend to do (maybe a phase)? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 02:38 AM PST B (boyfriend) is worried that when I hang out with S (his best friend) it means that S is trying to be with me even though B also knows that's not true. S told B and me that he doesn't see me as anything more than a friend, but B still admits to feeling defensive or jealous when S is around. I just don't want them to stop being friends because their friendship is pretty epic. |
Question: Why are my parents so over protective? Posted: 19 Feb 2017 01:51 AM PST Everytime I ask to go out with friends they say no, then a week later they complain about how I have no friends, when they're the ones who are keeping me from seeing them. I only have 1 friend, whom's parents is over protective. They think it's easy to just go out and get friends, it's really not. When I tell them why I don't have friends because of them, I get grounded. Even more time in my room! hurray! |

Question: I need advice for my female best friend. Can someone help? Posted: 18 Feb 2017 11:15 PM PST Hi, First of I am not a troll. I created this account to ask this question because I want privacy and honestly, I don't know who to turn to. I have a best girl friend (Anne) whom I have known for 13 years. We met at community college and been friends ever since. She's 31 and I am 32. I guess throughout the years, she went to school, law school and now a counsel attorney. Last week I found out that she went to a work event with other high end attorneys and went solo. I asked why she didn't invite me because she always does. She always ask me to be her date to every event (friends' birthday, outings, etc) but this time she made no mentioned of it. She answered that it "wasn't your type of thing" so I jokingly asked "are you embarrassed to bring me?" which she said "maybe" I get it. I am 32 and still in community college because I dropped out. I work at a fast food place because I haven't out what to do with my life yet. BUT I am good person and a treat her well. I was so pissed after hearing that. My own friend is judging me. Should I just dumped her as a friend? I need advice. |

Question: Getting ding dong ditched and I new it to stop? Posted: 18 Feb 2017 09:48 PM PST Alright so these kids I used to be pretty good friends with recently got into a fight and I kinda got cut out of the group. Whole big story. But Basically from September, maybe once a week or every other week they come by my house and ding dong ditch me. Honestly at first I got super butthurt. But I don't even care anymore it's just really annoying cause it makes my dogs bark. I've asked them to stop multiple times and they always deny even though the camera on my front door has caught them. Then it got worse. they starts lighting firecrackers and small fireworks off on my street. They even wear masks when they come by now and will flip off my camera. Honestly I could give less craps about it but its pissing my neighbors off and my parents so I gotta get them to stop. Whenever I ask they ignore me and do it again and I'm not snitching. I've tried camping out in my sisters car with an airsoft gun but they didn't come. Anybody have any ideas? I've thought about setting up a trip wire or putting oil on my front porch so they fall. I just need them to stop but I have no idea with they come it's very spontaneous. please help xD |
Question: So they didn't invite me to the bridal shower? Posted: 18 Feb 2017 09:20 PM PST I had this so called best friend who we had a fall out after she lied to me. I stopped talking to her but she would see me at weddings and say Hi. Ironically I introduce her to my sister in law and now both of them are best friends. Anyways her sister is getting married. And her sisters were also my friends with me but they did not invite me to the bridal shower of their sister but they invited my sister in law. I am not mad at all but why are they so fake and being nice to me and saying hi and talking to me when they see me but don't want to invite me to their parties? why can't they leave me alone at events, parties or even work place? |
