So my child had been given a large roll in school production, he's not very confident the role was given to challenge him. My friend takes my son to school 2 mornings a week while I work, on one of these mornings my friend has asked how he's getting on with his lines he's said I dnt think I can do it I'm scared I'm going to forget, so then my friends child has said il do it(since he got role she's been asking to swop) so my friends said do you want to swap and he's said ok, so she's then gone into school and told the teachers he doesn't want to do it and just like that it's been given away, school didn't tell me she jst casually said I went into school with them and told them they've given part to h, I think it was a bit much for him anyway!! Iv got home and my child is heartbroken didn't even want to give it away jst wanted some reassurance,he doesn't even have a part anymore he's jst so down about it. I'm more upset that she has gone into school with my child and said he's not doing something I would never do that to anyone. My professor made a joke to one of my Jewish classmates: "I hope you find your heart someday". I have no idea what that means but I felt bad for her because it obviously meant something rude and offensive because she looked crestfallen and had to excuse herself to the bathroom and didn't come back for the rest of class. I hate everything, I hate my parents, I hate life. Recently my parents FORCED me to switch schools because they didn't agree with the detentions or some crap like that. Firstly, I was happy there and had friends, and secondly, I have never gotten a detention there so i don't know. Anyways I am 13 and this was the only time I have ever made legit friends, before My past "friends" would joke and mock me behind my back. The kids at the new school are awful, annoying, and try too hard to befriend me. Also, they swear like every five seconds. I'm not concerned about the language, I've heard people swear enough but I'm worried about ME swearing. I've never sworn before and if they're always swearing when I'm at home I might accidentally swear and get grounded. Also the food there is absolute trash. . I don't eat anything there and come home hungry everyday. The classes are ridiculously easy and I already learned about half the stuff they're teaching. And one kid there already hates me and tries to slap me on a daily basis. I can't do anything about my life, and everyone I've told about this is saying things will get better but it honestly won't. So I went to my friends' house just the other day to pick her up from her house (she's 1 of 5 children and is over 18, living with her parents) and when I went inside of her house it was very messy, there were dishes lining the counter, and I saw 2 mice visibly on the table. When I confronted her about this health hazard she said the mice problem was so bad that her 10 year old sister couldn't sleep in her room because otherwise, the mice would run up and down her shirt and under her covers, while she was sleeping. I very concerned for her and her younger siblings health because having that many mice in a house can spread disease and feces. Also, I'm pretty sure that if called, CPS would come. So, I just got friend zoned for the first time. I got sent the friend zone logo after asking one of my friends out, who I have been flirting with for the past month or so. I have a friend who is really important to me. I care for her so much, and I know that she cares for me too. I want to hug her and protect her and spend time with her. I noticed that one of my friends was so quick to correct me when I pronounced the name of some city wrong the other day, yet when one of my other friends pronounced something wrong she didn't bother to correct her at ALL. Hi, so I just moved houses so I had to move schools too. A month before I did, my friend moved too(person 0.), near my new house. I thought we were going to get the same school so I was pretty excited. Nope. I know I should be happy that I have a chance to learn in a proper school, but I just don't like this school. so it seems like every 20 minutes my friend talks about suicide. She always says "You know what sounds good right now?" And I say "what?" And then she just says "suicide" and I know this sounds really selfish of me but I'm getting really annoyed by it. I've talked to her about it and everything and she says she's not going to kill herself but she keeps talking about it and showing of her self harm cuts. So I have a car. And I have this friend. And she knew I had a car so I made a mistake of giving her a ride home one time so now she asks me all the time to give her rides and I'd have no problem with this other than the fact that she doesn't live close to me all. Giving her a ride would be going way out of my way. So I usually tell her I'm not going straight home or that I have a detention. So today she asked, and I accidentally said yes but my other friend asked who lives on the same street as me so naturally I would give her a ride. The friends I have now usually ignore me for each other when we're together. I hardly get spoken too. I can't seem to connect with people and I don't have any common interests with people either. I feel extremely lonely and I want friends but at the same time I don't want to be around people.

I only have 2 friends which I BARELY talk to at school. All my life I've been an outcast. I never had anyone to relate to, whenever I speak everyone looks at me weird. Especially now. I work really hard on my homework, and spend a lot of time answering questions to the best of my abilities. However, this girl in my class, ALWAYS slacks and wants to copy my work. I know she has the ability to do the work on her own, though she just chooses not to. Until now, I've said yes to her but now I feel it's really unfair to me. I spend more than 3 hours on an assignment and just let her use it. Am I being selfish by not letting her copy anymore? If it's important, she's not a friend. She's rude and condescending, but I don't want to be mean or cause any problems.

I really wanna take Drama for GCSE but 4 teachers in school say I'm not good enough. They say I won't even get a C cuz I'll suck at the writing parts. I'm in top set for English! I asked my parents what to do but they agree with the teachers. They are not allowing me to take Drama. I was crying for days but they just want me to get psychiatric help. I'm in a Stagecoach school as well as regular school. My friends were talking about GCSE Drama (they didn't know about this whole thing) and I started crying. ok so im 16 and i know that seems really dramatic but heres the thing: my life actually sucks right now so being from a brown family full of doctors, my grades suck. i have 3.8 gpa on a 5.0 scale. my parents expect so much from me and i dont want to bring them down and i want good grades for myself too but i have 0 motivation. i always feel like no matter how hard i try i wont get to where i want to be and i dont know how to change this mindset so if you know how please help!!! also im a really really boring person. i dont really have any hobbies or play any sports. the only thing i really like to do is sleep, watch netflix, shop, and hang out with my friends, none of which are actual hobbies. so i would love to have something to do in my free time.any recommendations? im also pretty short and heavy for my height. i want to grow some more and shave off some of this weight and i dont know how. i dont play sports and i like biking but my parents say that wont really help me. any ideas?? and finally my personality. i love all my friends but sometimes i feel like im less important than them because they all have such outgoing personalities. im not shy but i dont naturally attract people to me like my friends do. all these guys like them and i dont want that but i would like attention sometimes from people. i want to be someone that people want to be friends with and a person who stands out but i just dont know how. please help me with any of these and thank you in advance!

I just got home from taking my sister to her friends house. Since I did not go in anyplace and came right back home I drove in my bare feet and did not bring my shoes.

Aaahhh. I feel so bored. I had an appointment with my therapist which got cancelled and now I feel confused and bored. my friend is also not replying to my messages. I'm so bored. I want to talk to my therapist ;(((((((((

During my first year of university I got to know a few people and we formed a whatsapp group for which we could discuss about stuff. Over the course of a year, some of them went for exchange, some shifted from university accommodation to somewhere nearby. Most of the time it's just me and this guy on campus after classes. He often contacts me only when he needs help with his studies and I always make it a point to reply if I am free, otherwise I will tell him that I am busy. He, on the other hand often ignores my questions in the group chat and instead types an entirely new message. We often ate together last year. But this year, I message him on whatsapp and sometimes he doesn't reply. But when I head to the cafeteria, I see him eating with other people that I sometimes know and sometimes he is looking at his phone. Why couldn't he tell me that he was already eating with someone else but instead choose to ignore my message? I feel that I should cut him off permanently but it is quite hard to get to really know other people because they have already formed cliques.

I'll be 21 in march and I've lived in Florida a whole year and I still don't have any friends :( what can I do? I wish I was in a sorority and all my sisters could throw a party for me but that's not the case... how do I get over this thought?

I told her "I'm scared Kim" and she said "why" and I said "are you the real (her name) I'm scared because I'm having a hard time with something now and don't know what to do" and she said "yes I am" and I said "should I tell what I'm having a hard time with and don't know what to do about? I'm really scared Kim" and she said "why"

And i mean this literally, this isn't one of those things that people just say as a joke... but i am a 16 year old girl and i have never really had a real friend. I have barely had a friend at all, i mean the last "friend" i had was when i was 12 and that only happened because our parents wanted us to hang out with each other. these past few years i have been so f*cking lonely and miserable. There is not one person in this world that talks to me voluntarily. The only time i have a conversation with people is when i have a question or if i am forced to interact with them (like a group project, etc.) I have tried making friends too, but i really don't know how. I don't know what to do, or where to go but i just need something or someone. I wish i could just start over in this life or just end it all at once but unfortunately i can't stand to think of what would happen to my parents if i were to leave this world. I think that me posting all my life problems on here to complete strangers is enough to let you know how lonely i really am. I mean its 3 am and all I'm doing it typing this and listening to the fray. Also, i think i may have an eating disorder. Which i am confused about because at the same time i don't. Some days i will eat only 200 calories and other days i would eat 3000. I haven't lost only weight so its not like anyone is know would even believe it. So basically i just want to know if what i am feeling and going through is normal, or am i just f*cking insane?
