She agreed to it, and he drove her home. He told her he would come back tomorrow, which is today, to drive her to work. He did, and now he brought free lunch (more like a banquet) for her. It seems like this is gonna go on for a while. He claimed he had a daughter at her age, who was living with her mom, which is his divorced wife. The lease is almost up and both me and my boyfriend decided we don't like living with one of our roommates we barely know him, he doesn't do his part because he claims he is too busy. We decided to move out with the other Roomate and in with one of our other good friends. The issue is we don't know how to approach telling him all three of us our moving out and leaving him with the option of finding a new place to live, or new roommates when the lease is up and we move. We of course are going to offer to help find someone if he decides to stay. But everyone keeps telling me we are being rude and mean for doing this. How do I handle this situation in the best. Manner to avoid any further conflict we already have encountered? I guess I just don't know how to say I'm the nicest way we don't want to live with you anymore. P.S. he did say he wanted to live in this apartment for a few years and all of us are ready to advance and upgrade to better living environment. I don't think he is up for paying the price for that but not completely sure. |

So he's always been happy, energetic, a friend you always need right there in the beginning of it all. Funny too. Then last Winter and Spring, he changed into this douchebag type style, now trying to protect his masculinity, which is pretty shallow. He was visibly disappointed in me sometimes, whenever I got a higher grade on a test or something. He became also very annoying, and persisted to do things I didn't want him to do, and bragged about any little thing about himself. So Summer '16 passed by, and now we're in High School, in same classes. I mentioned the classes we're taking, and he was taking all Regular, and I'm taking an Honors, and he just had the most disgusted face, with jealousy, thinking that I'm starting to be better than him. He thinks everything is a competition, and it's so annoying. Fast forward to this February, there was an aptitude test for an Honors class next year, and he joined only for the sole reason of trying to get "ahead" of me. It was really stupid. I got in, but he didn't, and when he asked me about it, he had a stern, angry face. I think he's jealous of me, because of my accomplishments, and think that he needs to beat all his friends in what he does, so he can be the leader of the pack. I want to disassociate myself with "Jake." I have to wait 4 months now, but I can't ******* handle this kid thinking he's the **** with all this arrogance. How to stop what's happening? |

That's sad. At lunch, I sit with some girls who I am very close with, and yes, we do sometimes do things outside of school, however, when I come home during the weekends I find myself sitting in my room having nothing to do ALL THE TIME. It is now winter break and I planned something this weekend with a group of girls, but it's not a "friends group" you see on TV. I wanted to do something with a friend but since I have so few close friends, they're all out on vacation or busy with other things and people. I'm alone. I have no car, (I'm 15), and I have some money, but my mom borrowed it all. I'm trying to do things with friends but find that I can't. It's really sad and I just need some advice for strengthening relationships and such. I'm just jealous that everyone has one "BEST FRIEND" or friends group that they do everything with, and I don't have that. :( There is one girl but she's very immature and has different interests, and wants to have SIMS 4 battles and I hate the sims. I want someone to shop with, eat ice cream and binge netflix with, sleep over every weekend, etc. But I cant find it. |

If we knew how, we would nominate him for "Best boss of the year". He has a great sense of humor and it is fun to come to work each day. Some of us have turned down promotions just to stay with him. The company had a class on sexual harassment one morning that we all had to attend. They told us to ask our boss if we had any more questions. We had a staff meeting the next day and one my co workers ask our boss if in the employee break room, we talked about which guy is hung would that be sexual harassment? We all had a laugh at her question and no one laughed harder that our boss. He said "If no one was offended it is NOT sexual harassment, however I STRONGLY encourage you NOT to talk about sex at work. You never know who might be listening and be offended". He said it is my legal duty to provide you a workplace that is free from sexual harassment. Was what he told us correct? |

We go to the same school and we have the same friends, so we couldn't really avoid each other, after we broke up she'd get angry at me for having a laugh with my other friend, Marie. She'd say things like 'Oh no one cares Christelle!' (my name) and also, I was known for my loud personality you could say, so she'd also call me angry bird, pathetic, I know.. My New Years resolution was to be more calm so she couldn't call me angry bird any more, she hasn't thank god. In January, she seemed to like me again, like she would willingly sit next to me and talk to me and even pair up with me during classwork, which she didn't dare to do in 2016.. I thought things were going really smooth until she started hanging out with Marie more, I thought it was alright until when Marie and I were at the entrance of the school she ran in front of me to walk with my ex.. Then even now, they sit together, walk together, everything. So now, I have friends but they're more like classmates, I'm sort of on my own even though Marie talks to me but it's crystal clear my ex is really her best friend.. I've come up with the conclusion that I have friends, but they've got their own best friends so the reality is is that I'm pretty much on my own, I guess. Posted: 22 Feb 2017 04:55 AM PST I feel so lost I'm 18 I feel far behind in my life everyone doing better than me I don't have a support of family all they do is down talk me which is why I stay in my room and says I'll never be anything in life even my teachers told me the same when I told my teachers I wanna go to college they laugh at me and said I have no chances in life my cousin is 16 doing better than me driving own car and job I can't drive at all and the job situation is that I don't know how to count money or give change back so I'm stuck and heart broken from being rape by a stranger 2years ago but it still hurts I don't even have any friends at all literally |
| Posted: 22 Feb 2017 03:54 AM PST My friends ignore me, they hang out after school without me ( i find out on snapchat ) they ignore me, my old school friends have made new friends and r all busy with them and never want to see me, and no one wants to talk to me at dance. My aunt who i loved dearly just passed away from cancer, and i am ugly as heck. No one ever wants to be my partner, no one lets me in their group and i have no friends. My life sucks. My parents are angry because i got cross with a maths problem i was stuck on. My brother is the favourite, and i am doing really bad at school even though i try so hard. I am the worst on the school soccer team and the netball team and everyone gets frustrated when i stuff up. I dont know what to do!!?? |
| Question: A guy might be stalking my posts on a forum - help? Posted: 22 Feb 2017 03:35 AM PST Okay so last summer I became aquaintences with a guy from a anxiety forum. I added him on skype but he quickly revealed to me that he basically had a different personality. He was helpful and nice to others on the forum but on Skype he was constantly checking up on me, seemed insecure, always sought approval, guilt tripped me when I ghosted him, disrespectful, clingy, we had nothing in common and he couldn't hold a decent conversation. Anyways, I eventually blocked him on skype. Months later I returned to the forum I had me him on and he publically tried to guilt trip me for taking a hiatus from the site and skype. I'm actually very active on skype and he seemed to refuse to believe that I blocked him on skype. I took another hiatus from the site shortly after and returned recently. I have blocked him from contacting me on the site, have him on ignore where I cannot read his posts and I do not chat to him or respond to his posts. However lately I have a feeling that he might be stalking my posts. Maybe I'm just paranoid - but I noticed that sometimes when I post to a thread, he will post like two seconds afterwards. I also don't know if he's making any nasty comments about me. I don't feel like I should leave this site because of some emotionally unstable guy but I feel he may still have an interested in me - despite me showing signs that I want absolutely nothing to do with him. |

Posted: 22 Feb 2017 03:22 AM PST Last night I was out with friends and we were all quiet drunk, one of the girls and a guy (my housemate) got into a verbal fight with a man and the guys were squaring up to each other to the point security got involved, I tried to drag both of them away but it wasn t happening and in the process I ripped his jacket, he now thinks I owe him for a 160 jacket, I suggested a tailor fix it but he wants a new one, I am unemployed and am shocked he would even go there as I would never ask for money especially if I put my friends in an aggressive situation |

I've known her since high school, fell in love when I was 19 and now we're both adults working jobs. We still talk a lot but I've never told her how I feel. Around the time I fell in love she got into a very committed relationship so I decided I had to move on and tried to see other people. Then they broke up, but I was still in a relationship trying very hard to lose these feelings and give them to someone else. Of course that relationship didn't work out. But all of this turned into a habitual hide-your-feelings kind of thing and as more time went on it also became me not wanted to damage a very valuable friendship, especially because our group of friends is very tight-knit and she's also a close friend to my best friend, and I'm close to her best friend (we've all been friends since high school). Don't know what to do. Do I keep trying to get over her? |

When this happened my friend noticed that I distanced myself from him and the girl. I wasn't sad about it. Up until I met my best friend in 8th grade I never really had any true friends before(I had them but when I look back they weren't really friends to begin with). The girl that I like is also very close with me and says that she couldnt imagine losing me as a friend. Distancing myself from others is how I learned to cope, and I'm used to being alone and combating loneliness so would distancing myself would be a good option? |
