So my mom had bought me tickets to see Ariana Grande in concert but then she found out I was selfharming so she sold the tickets. And the show is in less then a month(from today) And she got me tickets to see her again for Valentine s Day cuz I begged for tickets. And okay so I m 18. And I ve been talking to this person who is 15 and they are going to the concert with their mom too. But they have seat in the way way top of the arena all the way in the back(50$) and I have floor seats(127$). And my friend would enjoy being next to me and the concert and they would be closer. But we have never met. I was in Civics class right? And so then the civics teacher introduced the new TA named Sam. I knew him and I hated him and im 3 years younger then him. He's 17 And so basically, I texted him verbal abuse in text message when I sat down. I did it where my "crotch" is so no one could see. I was in the front though. And then I dropped some things on the floor and my phone. And he grabbed my phone and went back to his chair. I didn't know at first so I tried looking for it and then my butt was showing so kids were laughing and so then I told the teacher I couldn't find my phone and then he pointed to the TA Sam and said "he has it since you were using it" So I was like "UGH!" and then I saw sam laugh and then i didnt get it back till the end and he told me "text me again during class and ill take your phone away" so i left the face angry and red. lol I know that sounds bad just hear me out. I he always grabs me, which is automatically gross, since I don't like him. He weighs about 350 pounds and his face is always red and patchy. I'm aware that people can't change how they look and it's not ok to make fun of them for that, but he puts no effort into the way he looks. I have a friend named John who is 28 years old. He moves to a new different northern state for the summer and a new different southern city/state for the winter. I'm pretty sure he's lived in like 9 different cities at this point. He finds a new logistics job in the trucking industry everytime in a week or two. I'm a freshman guy and for a while I talked to this senior who seemed pretty nice. He wasn't mean to me like most upper class students were. We talked about aspirations and future goals. Background: I'm a shy kid, starting high school in a while. My present-day friends leave me to fade into the background, and seldom respond to my attempts at conversation in an engaging way. Typically I receive a sentence or two in response, but then the conversation fades into awkward silence once more. For a month or two I felt really left out of everything. It was extremely painful, and I ended up crying myself to sleep a few times. I don't want that to happen ever again. The issue: first, let's establish something: I'm an introvert. A shy one. The sorta nerdy bookish-type kid you'd see in the corner of the cafeteria. Of course I plan on joining a few clubs, perhaps even founding one myself. But even then, I'm the person everyone replaces eventually. What I really want is a group of friends who will always be there for me, and I will always be there for them. Everyone else is so much more confident than me, and by the time I've opened my mouth to say, "Hi", cliques have already formed and I am left to spend the next four years by myself. So any advice on how to make a solid group of friends that can last at least 4 years?

It's been about three weeks since I last saw my "new" friend (just met her this last summer). What should I text her to see how she is doing? So when I went into high school freshmen year it was all normal. Later in the year I started to like this girl, she was a really cool person to be around and had a great sense of humor. We weren't really close friends after since we didn't have classes in sophomore and junior year but this year we've talked more and it wasn't until now in senior year I told her how I felt and she said only sees me as a friend and that I'm really sweet and funny and she's sorry and that she's kinda talking to someone else. That someone is one of my good friends who I told that I really like the girl before they started talking. She is just a great person to be around and makes me feel good when I talk to her. All of the sudden after hearing what she thought and that my friend started to talk to her I just feel triggered I don't feel good now just sad and when I see places in the school now I get flashbacks from previous years and it makes me feel like I should have said it sooner. These days I can't bear school now with the thoughts of this and I just don't know what to do. I've tried to act like it's nothing but as the days pass I feel that it's bothering me more and more and I'm beginning to not be able to handle all of this.

My best friend of 12 years has had some really negative relationships in her past and it's made her "hard" (that's the only way I can think of putting it). But over the past two or three years, we've gone through A LOT of friends. Im a 17 year old girl in 11th grade. At the same time that im a nice, kind hearted and sensitive person at times i can be mean and rude to my friends which i dont do it on purpose its just not in my hands at times im harsh. I have a friend who always makes plans w/ me to do something and always sounds so eager on the phone but come time to follow through he will take his sweet time and often shows up half n hour or even an hour later than he was supposed to sometimes cancelling the plan altogether w/o even letting me know while I wait and waste my precious time. I am 20 and live in the U.S. I have had a friend request from someone from the Philippines claiming they are looking for someone with the same first and last name as me. Then their daughter also befriended me on Facebook. The daughter of the woman is younger than me and has been asking me to send her money because she needs it because school is so far away and another reason. I only have six dollars and my parents pay $50 a month for me to go to trade school for medical assisting. After not seeing my cousin for almost 5 years,we met at the funeral of our grandma. We talked and changed numbers and he offered me the opportunity to work by his side at his work place. After chatting through social media,he told me that I'm being way too formal when talking to him, a family member, and/or my friends. He said I should open up and be friendly,but how can I do that? I find it difficult to maintain relationships and I rarely go out or talk to someone in real life.My grandma told me that I changed during my high school years,but I feel like I've always been like this.The last time I've had a real friend was back when I was 13. So I invited 5 of my friends to my birthday party and all 5 of them had excuses not to come. Truth be told most sounded legit. The problems is non of them invited me to their birthday with the most recent one taking place last saturday. I feel so unwanted. I never really grew up with much friends. I'm from a Ghetto and a lot of the people are on drugs, drug dealers, criminals,etc and I'm nothing like that. So there is some girl in my class who always cares about her own needs and wants help all the time when she doesn't understand a topic yet she rarely returns the favor. The times that she tries to help, its basically half assed. All she thinks about is herself and uses others just for her own advantage. I hate it because once the quarter is over, she never keeps in touch or asks how my friends and I are doing. How do you deal with selfish people? She also happens to be one of our partners in our science class

I'm a teen and I just rlly need someone to talk to. I'm a fairly popular kid ig I have potential but lately my parents got a divorce, my bestfriend killed himself and I've been thinking more and more about suicide. All I wanna do is talk and vent without seeming selfish, or crazy. I can't talk to my parents or anything they'll send me the nut hut. I don't hav any friends close enough to talk to and everyone else is out of the picture. Idk what to do at this point

It seems like no friend stays in my life. They always leave or turn on me. And I just want to be nice to them and enjoy spending time with them. But something always happens and they leave.

So basically, I used to be best friends with this person. We got into a series of really bad fights and we were off and on eminies or on good terms for about a year and a half (but ever since the first fight we were never really friends again and every time after one of these fights I would be the one to say I don t want to fight anymore let s just be friends again). About 2 months ago he sent me a message pretending to be someone else and sent me a another message from a google number saying he got a different phone and phone number. I figured out he was lying the next day because of his WhatsApp and confronted him over text and he blocked me. I was insanely upset. I tried to called his parents and I left him a nasty note at his house. About two months went by but I was still upset I was never able to give this person a piece of my mind so I decided to go to his house and do just that. He saw me, didn t answer the door and called people to tell them that I m harassing him. All my friends yelled at me saying I should have just let it go and I could get in trouble. I m just so angry, I feel like he got away with it. I m not going to do it again but what do you think? Am I harassing him or am I right to still be upset. It also bothered me so much because we were such good friends and I really felt stabbed in the back. But at the say time I m not sure if maybe I m just being too upset at this point, even if he is a bad person, I m the one with the problem. What do you think?

(I am 13 in 8th grade.) My parents barely allow me to do anything. I am not allowed to use social media sites like Instagram or Twitter, I can only use Facebook. They won't let me play any online games like Roblox or Team Fortress 2 due too 'talking to strange men on the internet'. They won't let hang out with a guy without a friend with me because 'they will consume you and you won't focus on anything else'. I cannot close my door or make any phone calls. I can't have a social life because of them anymore. I am forced to violate these rules to stay in contact and help my friends. Why are they doing this, and how can I stop them without yelling at me?

I'm a sophomore in high school, and Ive recently realized I don't have any friends. Yikes. Never thought I'd be here, but I sit alone in the library at lunch and don't hang out with friends outside of school. I usually sit alone in class, although I have a couple decent acquaintances who sit with me if they have no other options. This all sounds pretty generic, I'm sure. It sounds like I just need to be more assertive with these acquaintances and make them into better friends. However, it's not that simple. I have been going to school with the same group of people since middle school and am already in an established club(band). With this in mind, the concept of making friends becomes a bit less promising; how do I make friends, or rather, GOOD friends who have my back, hang out with me, etc, within a group of people who I have failed to connect with over the course of 2-3 years? There are many people at my school. Am I just unlikeable? I'm not an introvert, and am supremely lonely most of the time.

Hi. I have a fan account of an actor on Instagram. He follows me and occasionally likes my photos. Since Valentines day is coming up, I was at the beach and made sand art that says "Name +❤️ Name" in the sand made with nice stones. Him and his wife's name. Very high quality picture.
