Question: I need help with my current situation? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 01:45 PM PST i am a 9th grader in high school. i am doing my best to get good grades in all my classes but i am still failing in two classes. There's this online grading site that my school uses, and my mom knows how to go on because of a email the school sent her. i can go on as well. The problem is, my mom yells at me every time she sees a zero, no matter if it counts for hw or a test or classwork. This is unfair because my family is asian, and my white friends get more zeros than i do, and their parents don't even yell at them or ban them from doing anything (their parents know how to get on grading site, too). My mother says if i get too much zeros (3 or more in a week) she will ban me from going on the computer PERMANENTLY. Right now, she only lets me go on the computer, AND NOT EVEN PLAY VIDEO GAMES (my favorite thing to do)!!!! There is a time limit, and i still try to play video games sneaky. I recently got two zeros for two English tests because some dumb kid was talking during the tests, and the whole class gets a zero. i have two zeros a week already. And then the next day, my spanish teacher said we will have a pop quiz even though the stuff on there we didn't even learn yet. then i went home and checked online and i found that i got a failing grade very close to zero. if my mother sees this, i am f**ked! (RIP Gaming PC???) As of right now, my mother did not go online yet, but if she does, i cannot live without my computer. I think i am the most unluckiest person in the world |

Question: Should I stay or what should I do? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 01:00 PM PST My wife is very needy she acts like when it's just us that I'm the center of her life but when she is with other people like her family she acts like I'm no longer important and treats me very badly. She always puts me down to her family and only talks about the bad times never the good and her family acts like I've done nothing good for her, when I bought her a house (I did not her) she has food, clothes, etc. when she gets mad at me she tells me that she hates me but then 10 mins later she saids "I love you baby". We went to the mall to t-mobile about a phone well I didn't have the money to get her a iPhone for a few days (4-5 max) I offered to get her temporary phone until we can get a iPhone for her, she got mad and called the police on me to leave her alone and I had to leave the mall, as well as telling me to F off and leave her alone apparently she got real angry at me because I didn't have the money for her iPhone. So I'm just confused I mean I love her but it's like I get treated like dirt and I'm always the bad guy. I have always put her first, she never was homeless or anything and her family judges me like I treat her like crap. We lived in a studio apartment when we first got married (were 21 & 22 now) in the orchards and her family said it's the gehotto, which it was not. It's more country than anything. Pretty much it. What you think |
Posted: 28 Feb 2017 12:59 PM PST He is a relative but not one I see a lot (maybe twice a year) and an angry alcoholic. He is my Mom;s brother but she is not real close to him. They were brawling and apparently both were arrested on aggravated assault charges and the brother-in-law for attempted murder. When I was interviewed by police I felt bad I didn't intervene. They said I did nothing wrong but should have called 911. Both will recover but I wondered if I was wrong not to intervene. They were brawling over my aunt (uncle's wife) as his wife and the brother-in-law's wife are sisters but the brother-in-law tried to hit it on with my uncle's wife apparently. I don't know the brother-in-law very well though we've met. |

Question: Is my mom dating my ex husband? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 11:47 AM PST My mom works in the same large office building as my ex husband. There is a popular restaurant on the first floor of the office building. One day mom was waiting to be seated and my ex husband Jim came in and saw her and invited her to join him for lunch. Never being one to pass up a free lunch, she did. She said they had a great lunch and a fun conversation. This has happened 3 times in the last year. Mom just adored Jim when we were married and that did not change after the divorce. I did not know any of this until Mom told me about it. She said she wanted me to know from her. She did not want someone that knows me to call her and tell me that mom was on a date with my ex husband. I asked mom if she planned to do it again and she said she might. She denied it was a date. She said it was just two friends having lunch together. I am really confused about this. I don't want my mom dating my ex husband. Do you think she is? I told my mom about my concerns and she told me that I should join her the next time she had lunch with my ex. We remained friends after our divorce so I don't think it will be a problem or will it? Please give me some advice on what I should do. Should I join them for lunch or would it be awkward? |
Question: Was my boyfriend being disrespectful? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 11:44 AM PST I was watching TV with my boyfriend downstairs and my brother and his girlfriend were upstairs in his room studying. I heard my brother loudly say "Oh God, I am coming". Then I heard his girlfriend say "Oh God, I am coming too". I told my boyfriend that isn't it wonderful that they were studying the bible. He laughed so hard he almost fell out of his chair. I told him studying the bible is serious business and he should not be laughing about it. Should I dump him for being disrespectful? |

I know that because I was there. I was on holiday with them and I could hear them having sex. She stayed with me until I stopped crying and then she started to cry in the other room and the next morning I aske she if she was crying and she said yes because I was crying. She was sad because I was sad. I told her she deserves to b sad and i don't. I know it sounds mean but I was very angry. If you don't understand anything pls ask. If u could give some advice that would be so nice Thanks. |
Question: Why should I be happy or alive? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 10:37 AM PST I fail at everything. I try to do good academically, yet no matter how hard or how much I study, I never get marks me family or I want. Then, whenever I try out for a sport, I am just so terrible at it. I have been doing rugby for 8 years, and yet I still can t catch a high ball. My brothers are both gymming ( my twin and my older brother) and they are both built, and NY dad was ripped when he was a bit younger, but I am not good looking, built or ripped at all. I am not fat, but I am just skinny and small and useless. The only thing I am slightly good at is gaming, but I even suck at that, but not as bad as academics. Why should I be happy or continue to live? I am so depressed. |

It's like my mom be on my side with things and my dad is on my brothers side. I don't get it. Even if my brother says mean things to me. Why is that? I'm a girl by the way. Everything's fine now. My family and I talked through it and I know I was partially to blame for this situation. |

Question: Should you change for a partner? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 09:25 AM PST My boyfriend always tries to make me do things differently. He tries to force me into things I don't want to (going out, get me to look for different jobs, make me eat better work out, dress different, stop getting tattoos) and when I refuse, I feel awful and I give up. I'm a tattoo artist, and he hates this. It's not "a real job" and it won't stick. I'm in my late 20's, and he's in his late 40's. It feels almost like he's trying to be my father, and make me an ideal child, social and friendly, healthy and working a desk job. He also gets on about me being immature, which I admit I am, but he doesn't hate the immaturity that's a hazard to myself, he hates that I spend my free time either playing games or watching anime. He says it's childish, which I guess it is. But I still work, and it's not like I just sit around playing games all day doing nothing. He points out flaws on my body. I have self harm scars from being a stupid teenager who hated himself, and he points these out and asks why I made such ugly marks on my body. I'm too sensitive I guess because that hurts horribly, and I hardly want him to see my body anymore. I would like to wear a giant coat and a mask around him honestly. Are we supposed to change for our lovers, so endlessly? I feel like I, and him, are too old for **** like this. But I don't really know. Have I been doing love wrong this whole time, by just accepting people? This is more a rant than a question, but thank you to anyone who answers. As far as why we're still dating, I did try to break up with him once, and he managed to convince me to be with him again. He said very sincerely that I would not find someone better, and that he loved me more than someone else will, which very well may be true. He is way older than me and older than I would often want to date, but I didn't know how old exactly he was until about 6 months in, and I felt too deep in to step out. I thought all would turn out well, because at first it was great. |

Question: My mom says my aunt, her sister, is a narcissist. What does it mean to be a narcissist? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 09:06 AM PST Only thing I noticed with her sister is she has a golden child and scapegoat child and then two kids are just kind of forgotten and considered OK only. Also she's always been kind of dramatic. |
Posted: 28 Feb 2017 08:37 AM PST She is selfish and bratty and has always been this way she's 25 now with the maturity of an 11 year old |
Question: Why does my mom told me I smell every time she sees me? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:59 AM PST I'm a plumber of course I smell why does she need to repeat this every time she sees me? |
Question: My dad is being unfair? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:49 AM PST I got pretty bad grades this year, due to my own faults, home stress and poor teaching. Because of this my dad has taken my fairly good phone, and replaced with the most basic flip phone in existence. I complained to him about it and he yelled "Are you so stupid you don't even know you're being punished" that hurt my feelings. He's now picking fights with me and pissed at everything I do, Ex. I woke up at 5am today and went to sleep at 10pm. 7h of sleep, not bad.My bus comes at 7 He said "you need all the sleep you can get How are you doing at school? Is everything good?!" he knows it's not. |
Question: How do I get my Mom to see at 16 I am old enough to know my Dad? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:38 AM PST She won't let me ever meet him because she divorced him due to him drinking too much. She says I cannot know him and she will be furious if I try to as an adult. All the reasons she gives are about what he did to her and how can I be nice to someone like that (he name called like an angry teen when drunk). She also says he has no love for us but at Christmas I found out he sent gifts she did not give us the first year or two. I understand alcoholism can be confusing and I would never live with him or anything like that. But he is not violent (I have confirmed that with even his foes) and the worst that can happen is he can get real grouchy like my sister gets when having her period (not that she can help that). So I am tired of my mother keeping me from him. She is mad at him because she couldn't get him to get help. She cuts him down to us daily. I am fine avoiding alcohol since it is a genetic vulnaribilty. So my mother is just using me. Any ideas? I have asked about this before so some of you might remember the scenario. I live at home so my Mom gets to see me daily, not sure why she feels threatened by me knowing my Dad who lives 25 minutes away. Neither of my sisters care but they are not as loyal as me I guess. I'd think my mother would be proud. |
Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:31 AM PST The rule in my Mom's family is that we have no association with exes of family members for they have betrayed our family. So my aunt's ex-husband we do not speak to when we see him at stuff for our cousins and only gave a cold "hi how are you" and quick exit the time he tried to say hi to us. Same with the ex-wife of my cousin. However, my mother had one cousin who left his wife for another woman and so we are still friends with her and generally shun the cousin. Now this 3rd case is tricky. Her cousin had an affair but his wife was the one to leave him saying she couldn't trust him anymore. He was remorseful for the affair but then immediately remarried. So his ex did do the leaving unlike the other cousin who had an affair. Yet, he did not divorce her. So when we are at a wedding for their son April 30th do we shun her or is it okay to be nice since her husband cheated on her? Jason----We are not nice to enemies of our family. Either you are in or you are out. If you are out we will make your life miserable for not following the standards set by our forefathers of the great family monarch. Those who betray the monarch are made miserable and there is no mercy nor should there be. I guess you don't come from a great monarch like my Mom. |
Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:25 AM PST I feel so dirty after seeing them. I feel like I need multiple showers to clean off seeing her and my repulsive sister. She had her wicked friend with her and the friend's daughter. All are bitter and disgusting people. I hadn't seen my wicked sister in a year but I had to see my mother back at Christmas as dirty a soul as she is. How do I clean up, and get over the sick feeling I have after seeing these disgusting people? Her friend I'd never met before so that part wasn't as bad as the wicked Mom and my wicked sister. |
Question: How do I get my step-Dad to let us go to Mardi Gras tonight? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:22 AM PST He says we can't because it is a school night My real Dad would let us. |
Question: Why is it usually the person who doesn't want the pet is the one that takes care of it? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:16 AM PST i.e. my sister wanted a dog, got a dog, but I ended up taking care of the dog. |
Question: Grumpy, Abusive Grandmother? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 05:20 AM PST I love my grandmother to death but as I've grown, I've started to see a really ugly side of her. I don't know if I just didn't pick up on this part of her personality because I was a child, but it seems like it is becoming more and more regularly that she is just frankly, unpleasant to be around. So here it goes, she's 84 and I'm a 21-year-old medical student (you'll see why that's important in a little bit). But I'll start off with her, she's a young spirited lady. Even though she's 84, she still wants to live like a younger person. She idolizes the Kardashian family specifically. She's always watching their show and she see's them living a fabulous lifestyle and wants the same kinds of things that they have for herself. The problem is that she can't live luxuriously anymore like she did in her earlier years because she went bankrupt and made some bad investments with her money, so she's always reminiscing of the past. She tells me & her friends all the time, "I had it made" or "I lived fabulous, I always had a fabulous car and house" or "I always worked 4 jobs" or "I always had money". It honestly gets annoying because it's almost everyday that she's reminiscing about the past and complaining about her current living situation (me and her live in a gated apartment complex). What's even more annoying is that she refuses to acknowledge her mistakes that put her in this financial situation. Instead, she blames, her daughter (my mom), her son, other family members, etc. On top of this, she's very manipulative, she has a bad relationship with my mom, her son, ex-husband etc. so she tries to use me to ask them for money. When I refuse because it's not in my character. She gets mad and calls it "bullshit" and insults me. She's always begging others for money and her children give her money on a consistent basis but no matter how much she receives, she always wants more and it's never enough. She doesn't acknowledge the thousands of dollars that her children have given to her, instead she say's "they don't do **** for me" or "how could you treat your mother this way" or "after all I did for my children and they can't buy me a car". Not acknowledging the fact that she traded her car (it was completely paid off) in for a brand new car that she couldn't afford. It ended up getting repossessed. Another thing is she constantly accuses me of stealing. One time Wells Fargo took money from her account for the service fee and she accused me of stealing her credit card and spending her money. She lost a diamond necklace & accused me of stealing it and selling it on eBay and she tells other family members that I steal from her. She also, makes it harder for me to focus on school because she says that I need to work and give her some money. I'm currently supporting myself off of grants and scholarship money and I've given some to her but she wants $200 a week from me like she was getting when I had a job. I think it's unfair that she expects me to work my *** off to give half of it to her for mistakes that she made in her life but she feels entitled. She's very judgmental. Thinks she's prettier than all the other woman and better than everyone. She looks at the way people dress and rolls her eyes at them. She's always calling people ugly, fat, and unmannerly. She constantly brags about how she ran a charm school and taught young girls proper etiquette. Just very narcissistic and immature for a 84 year old. I don't know how she got through life being this way. My question is what can I do? She calls me a "thief", a "liar", a "piece of ****" and all of these other things and when I tell her that I'm leaving she says "go ahead, you're a bum anyway, I don't need your sorry ***". But when she realizes that I'm seriously leaving, she starts crying and saying she needs me and doesn't know what she'd do without me and it's a continuous cycle. She knows that I have a heart and uses it to keep me in her web or manipulation. IT'S TOXIC!!! What do I do????? |
Posted: 28 Feb 2017 04:23 AM PST I m 22... I have regular fights with my mum..I respect her for everything she had done for me and I usually chat abt my day with her in a way we are quite close. I love her to the extend I would do anything for her but I just can t seem to listen to her. Yes I m contradicting myself when I say I ll do anything. But whenever I ask for permission I just can t seem to get the yes and when I don t ask for it hell breaks lose obviously .. I stay with her and at my age it s ridiculous that we can t talk it out like adults. Usually after our fights we have cold wars , the whole family is affected. I don t have many friends to talk to... talking to my sister is useless as she sides with my mum. Is there any way I can t change myself? Is there something wrong with me? |
Question: My dad always wants to see my poop what should I do? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 03:55 AM PST I am unemployed and living back at home and I hate it. Every time I go to the bathroom my dad tells me not to flush the toilet or he'll kick me out. He always wants to look at my poop. Today I locked him out of the bathroom and he put his nose under the door screaming, "if I can't see it I'll smell it Matthew!" what do I do about this? It makes me really uncomfortable and my sister tells me I should just let dad see my poop. |
Question: I hate my worthless children? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 03:29 AM PST I'm 54. I only had children so I would have someone to take care of me. My son and daughter are 17 and 18 I don't consider them my children. I refer to them normally as family members. My son and daughter never finished school, I took them out of school in 8th grade, I was going to homeschool them but never did. I told them if they wanted they would have to pay for their education as homeschooling was too expensive. That was a little over 4 years ago. I want my son and daughter to leave but they refuse to. These are the reasons they say they refuse to leave for because I have never taught them how to drive, because there are no side areas to walk on the road, because they don't want to walk 17 miles to the city for public transportation as we live in the south and because I have never taken them to get a job before they were 17 and 18. Why are they so rude to me? |
Question: Daughter dating an older man? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 02:04 AM PST My daughter is 23 years old, and has apparently been dating a 47 year old for the last year and a half. I will say, she is in a much more mature position than her age suggests. She owns her own business, she has a four year old daughter, and she's always been much more mature than her age even when she was a very young girl. We didn't know she was dating him because we didn't speak to her for a very long time after she gave birth to a baby of a man who raped her, she was originally going to put up the baby for adoption but when she gave birth to it she decided she couldn't do it, and kept her. We cut off contact with her for several years because the man who raped her was her abusive ex-boyfriend and we wanted nothing to do with her or the child after that. We finally decided to talk to her after seeing a picture of her and the baby on Facebook after I unblocked her, and she agreed to allow us to come up to NYC to meet her baby, and her boyfriend. We looked him up on Facebook and he seems okay, he's a lawyer who graduated from Harvard and is apparently involved in all of these charities (That's how they met) and he also is really good with her daughter. She is the happiest I've seen her in years but I'm still wary, should I be?? I don't want to hear about how she isn't mature, because I actually know her vs. people on the internet who have never met her. People she has contact with over the internet (For her business) and my friends who I talk about her to, always are shocked when they find out she is 23. They think she is in her late 30's. She can be a little goofy and is extremely sarcastic but that's about it. |
Question: My sister can't sleep what should I do ? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 12:55 AM PST It's 4 in the morning my sister hasn't slept all night. I don't know if she's scared or upset or just not tired. I've been trying to get her to bed since 10. How can I help her sleep ? |
Question: Should I feel this way or is it my parents fault? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 12:07 AM PST I'm turning 18 on Feb 28 and I was asking my parents if I can go to the movies with a couple friends. My friends want me to sleep over since it's my birthday but my parents DO NOT want me to sleep over bc they don't know who they. This would be my very first time to ever go out bc my parents are always up my ***. I been developing up a wall with my parents bc i am planning on moving out without telling them. I plan to deactivate my phone so my parents don't have to pay for it anymore and my boyfriend is willing to pay for the phone bill. I just want my freedom but they never give me freedom. Both my brother and sister partied and did what most high schoolers did, but my parents don't let me. Also my mom was a wild child herself too. So I just feel like it's unfair bc they all get to have fun memories with their friends besides me. I been feeling suicidal also bc I feel trapped in a corner with no support. I just don't see life as valuable as I used to. I wouldn't care at this point if I died bc I know they'd miss me but I want them to feel bad and regret what they did to me. I feel dark and twisted inside but I can't help it. Nvm I don't know why I'm writing this. Thanks for listening. I'll see myself in the next life. Bye. |

Question: Is it wrong that one wants to have relationship with their sister? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 11:48 PM PST If the sister looks like EVALION (Girl who came on YouTube) & since i love EVALION a lot then is it wrong that I was standing naked near my sister room (who looks like evasion) secretly while she lies on bed but she sees me & doesn't seem to mind while im completely naked. Can they start a relationship and go further?? Or is it wrong and why |
Question: Custody battle, am I wrong for not wanting him to have partial custody? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 11:41 PM PST When I was 19, I became pregnant by a really good friend who I had slept with during a drunk one night stand. We used protection, but it failed obviously. He wanted me to get an abortion or put the child up for adoption (said he wouldn't support me through the pregnancy though in any manner) but I say no because the worst thing to come out of the pregnancy was that it would make college more difficult. I come from a family with money, and they are also an amazing support system. On top of that, I originally planned on starting a family in my late 20's and it was always kind of assumed my dad would never meet my children since he has cancer, so I was happy that even though the situation wasn't perfect, he'd meet one of his grandchildren. The friend, call him E, does what he said and totally ditches me. Fine by me, I don't need his money or support, and I don't want my kid around somebody who can just ditch them like that. Four years go by and in that time I give birth to a perfect little girl, call her N, I graduate with a business degree, move to NYC, and end up meeting a really good man who adores me and my daughter. We end up getting engaged, and three days after our engagement party E shows up on my doorstep, literally, asking to see our daughter. I'm skeptical, and cautious because even when I gave birth to her and offered him a chance to see her (because I figured his mind might change when he saw her little face) he came for three minutes, said she looked like a -- potato (which would be funny if he didn't then leave five seconds later and never come back). But he doesn't do drugs, doesn't drink, has a career, and is generally a good man who seemed to have matured a lot. He was being kind of weird though, especially when he saw a picture of me and my fiance, he said he was mad we wouldn't be a full fledged family, and he didn't like how I went to a white boy (He's half black, half Spanish). My fiance is Cuban but looks like a white guy, but whatever-- it was a weird thing to say as if being with a white man would be bad. But he overall says he is fine with me totally going through his entire life, which I did because this is my little girl we are talking about, and I don't find anything alarming. No police records, nothing out of the ordinary, and I'm really happy with all he's accomplished. So we arrange for N to stay with my mom in DE, while E and his family get to know N. Everything is great, and E and my daughter establish a-- |
Posted: 27 Feb 2017 11:27 PM PST I'm currently 13. My mom was hit by a car and she entered a vegetative state, which can never be cured. My dad never really cared so he abandoned my sister and I. My grandparents takes care of us and have custody of my sister and I, so does that make me an orphan? |
Question: Is it okay if you want to love your sister ? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 11:21 PM PST if your sister looks like Evalion (girl from YouTube). I love/like her a lot and sister looks like her then is it okay to get erected & spy on her while she lays on bed. She notices im naked and sees my dick but doesn't say anything. Is it wrong or okay but have no sex. She is over 18 too. |

Question: How to explain to my mom about Arachnophobia? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 10:03 PM PST I know I have arachnophobia which is a fear for spiders. But somehow my mom thinks it s a joke when I freak out over a spider. As though being afraid of them is not a common thing. So today my cousin caught a huge spider (btw my idea of huge is more than 2 inches) and brought it into my house. Okay so here is what I want to explain to my mom. My cousin put the spider into a jar and even though it was inside a jar it still scared me. However for my mom if it s inside a jar it is no longer scary. So how can I explain to my mom that the spider can be dead, fake, or in a jar and that it can still give me a heart attack no matter what. |
Question: Convincing my parents for a hedgehog?!?!? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 09:47 PM PST Okay, so, I am currently 14 years old, and have a dog and a cat. I take care of them along with my parents and siblings. Recently, I had a seven and a half year old guinea pig, Willy, who died. If you know anything about guinea pigs life spans, you would be able to tell that he was loved and cared for very much so seeing and he lived that long. I'm not allowed to pick up my dog because he will legitimately attack the living hell out of me, but for some strange reason loves every bit of each of my parents. My cat, well, she's not companionable. I do very well and school and and am usually very happy with the decisions I make. Now, I have been wanting for a hedgie to add to the family. I know a LOT about them and I'd say I'm pretty qualified to own one. BUT, my parents assume that if we were to buy one, they'd be the ones taking care of it all of the time. Which, "I" know isn't true, but they refuse to believe me or even listen to any of my reasonings. Is there anything I can do to help convince them that I am ready and qualified??? |
Question: Mothers: Have you ever had a sexual or romantic relationship with your adult son? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 09:31 PM PST Seems like these kinds of relationships are beginning to come out of the closet nowadays and thus became less of a taboo subject due to generic sexual attraction (GSA) and other issues. As disgusting as it may seem to many, should consenting adults have the right to engage in consanguineous relationships free from prosecution? |
Posted: 27 Feb 2017 09:22 PM PST My mom and I don't get along as much as we used to when I was a kid. Like most young boys my mom was the one person in the world I loved the most. But now as an adult I can't stand to be around her. I often get mad and yell at her for not having her **** together like not having her finances in order being forced to have my sister do it for her. I often get made at her for trying to ask me any kind of question at all it makes me feel like I'm being interrogated. Oftentimes I act like a whiny child where I get angry at her for not doing things for me even though as a grown adult I should be learning how to do it myself. Today after failing my drivers test, I'm 20 btw, my mom and I stayed in line to try and reschedule it. I saw on her phone that she texted my sister that I failed the test and how I failed it. It caused me a lot of anger as I didn't want that to be told to anyone. When she was leaning on one leg I angrily tried to lightly kick her foot but instead she fell down in front of everyone. I humiliated her because I was angry. I honestly don't feel bad but I hate myself for losing control of myself. Now I am facing the possibility of being kicked out with nowhere to go. I know that it's all my fault and I'm not looking for sympathy but I just didn't want to bottle this all up inside. |

Posted: 27 Feb 2017 09:02 PM PST My parents got into a fight because my mom had a guy friend she met at work. They were just friends and my dad was ok with it at first but recently my dad has been getting jealous and I don't blame him because this past Valentine's Day , my moms guy friend gave her roses with a card saying "she's a loyal friend" and his wife had also signed it. That was too much as just friends but ok whatever. Then my dad had to find out from her phone, not even from my mom, that she gave money for her guy friend to buy new tires or something about a car. The fact that she hid it behind my dads back got him mad but I think he would've been mad either way so I get that part why my mom didn't want to tell my dad. Now, my dad saw my moms text messages and supposedly he has proof that my mom slept with her "guy friend". My mom begged my dad that it was a lie and now my dad is heartbroken. He came to me crying telling me that he doesn't know who or what to believe and that it's ok if she did make a mistake bc we're only human but if she did, she shouldn't deny it. I feel where my dad is coming from but what got me mad was that he said I have a 3 yr old brother because 3 yrs ago my dad cheated on my mom and he got her pregnant. That was when I was 10 years old and now I'm 13. Please help I don't want to remember that I have a brother. I will always just love my 6 year old brother. Please help |

Question: Younger sister has recently declared my boyfriend and I to be her "new parents"? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 08:51 PM PST My sister is ten years old, almost eleven. She has been emotionally neglected by our parents her whole life and because of this she'll do anything to get attention. Even saying things like she's gonna kill everyone and kill herself. She's very dramatic and emotional, she's also VERY sensitive to criticism. If you politely ask her to stop doing something she'll scream and cry and say that she'll kill herself. Well, thinking that maybe she just needed to get out of the house for a while, my boyfriend and I took her to the local amusement park and spent the whole day with her. Since then she is totally convinced that me, her OLDER SIBLING, and my boyfriend are her "new parents." What could cause this? I'm very concerned. |
Posted: 27 Feb 2017 08:44 PM PST my grandpa came up here for a visit for 2months and he gonna stay in our house. like if i'm skipping uni for one day , he makes a big deal in the house. if i lock my door , he start tryna investigate why i lock it. if i go out he tries to know every single thing in my life. he doesn't mind his own business although my parents told him i'm an adult now. he tries to force his opinion on others. also he used to hit me when i was younger when he loses his temper. he hates technology, he talks about the way i dress. "i dress normally , just stylish" he thinks he is always right. i'm sick of him |
Question: My parents are meth heads and I dont know what to do with my life? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 08:42 PM PST My parent have been taking crystal meth for over 12 years now. over the years there addiction has gotten worse. when i was 6 i went to foster care, i was neglected and abused by my foster mom after 3 monthes of foster care cps decided to give me back to my parents. when I was 8 my mom stoped making me lunch for school and buying me clothes, when I was 10 my dad stoped going to work and my parents took me out of school, because the teachers keepts calling child support in me because I showed up with dirty clothes and no lunch everyday. At that point it started getting really bad, they d only spent money on meth. We eventually got kicked out of our apartment and moved in a trailer with a drug dealer. The drug dealer has alot of junkies coming in and out of the trailer, they usually crash on the couch do some dope and leave. I have to sleep on a small chair that hurts my back. I have been molested a few times by the junkies. I am 14 now I usually stay at my friends house and sometimes sleep on tree to avoid going "home" I could barely call that trailer home I do not feel safe there. I work for someone who gives me weed, dabs and pills which I sell I dont like selling drugs but I need the money for food and clothes, I can not get a job because I dont have a social security number or birth certificate. I do not do any drugs I tried a few (meth, herion etc) I only tried em once and I do not like them. |
Question: 21 trying to convince parents to let me road trip? texas to cali? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 08:20 PM PST I'll just cut to the chase, how does one convince any parent to let their child drive halfway across the country? My dream is driving to Cali (im in texas) Im about to transfer to a 4 year school after completeing my 2 yr. My driving skills are on par with theirs, theyve let me drive them for hours and have fallen asleep. no accidents. and ive driven through the night before and was fine. And lastly ive driven on a smaller road trip 4 hours and came back fine it was quite fun. But that brings up the previous point. my mother watches all kinds of horror shows so of course she thinks worse case scenario when im off alone. Though i plan to have a close friend accompany me, the odds of her even considering the idea despite my age and responsibility are low. any ideas/ input? |
