In the 4th year she was diagnosed with anxiety and I didn't know how to help her besides being positive which didn't help. The relationship quickly became about her and I didn't feel appreciated anymore and we were constantly arguing. I ended up cheating on her in the summer and kept it from her for 6 months. In december I ended up telling her I didn't love her anymore before a work christmas dinner and a week before christmas. She was so heartbroken and wept for the next two weeks and couldn't eat or sleep. Once the new year came she decided to move on and started dating. We had started talking then but she had found another guy which she ended up sleeping with 2 weeks later. I was devastated because I did still love her and wanted to get back with her. She ended up finding a second guy and was dating me at the time as well. We were sleeping together but I couldn't handle her dating other people. I told her if she could just let them go and work things out with me especially because she still loves me but she said she's too hurt and needs to heal. So for the past 2 months since january it's been torture for me and she recently became exclusive with a guy she was dating which absolutely broke me. She wants to remain friends while she heals and has her new boyfriend because she says she's giving him a chance because he's so nice but she loves me and knows we'll get together once she's healed. We had a great conversation, he asked me about school, work, where I was from, we laughed a few times, then he asked me to come play beach volleyball with him the next day. I kind of blew it off and that was the end of the conversation, since service had started. He sat behind me and over a few seats, and everytime we went to stand up or say hi to people, we would always make eye contact, hold for about 10 seconds, then smile and eventually sit down. After service I was standing around and didn't see him, eventually he found me, came over and asked me if I was going to come by the next day to play beach volleyball with him. I asked him more about it and he asked for my number, so I gave it to him. I ended up going to play with him the next day and had so much fun! He was close to me the entire time we were there, he asked about the sports I play, my siblings, and how work is (since I had to work that night). From my point of view, he seemed interested in me. He did add me on Facebook. But, I haven't heard from him since then (which was two days ago). I know it's been 2 days so I don't want to seem desperate or read into things because I know he said he will contact me sometime this week, I am just an impatient person! Could someone give me their opinion on this? Do you think he was interested or was just trying to be friendly? He is also 10 years older than me, do you think that me being 20 has a factor in it? |

Posted: 27 Feb 2017 07:28 PM PST very long sry. so on tuesday, my crush was away for the week, but his friend was there and so i went up to say hi to him. and of course me being shy and awkward as usual, i asked the most stupidest question ever (i was talking so fast so it just came out), i asked if i could restart my computer cause it was too slow but another coworker of mine said not to, so that's why i asked. then he looked at me weird and said he'll text my crush to see if it's okay. i said thanks and left and i was already saying to myself that i asked him a dumb question. i felt stupid. then he came up to me. and when we walked through it (this was an old windows machine so i had no idea how to use it) i asked him if i should install updates and he said no. so i didn't think my question was dumb cause if i didn't ask him i would've installed the updates. so then later i came up to him for another question about a file i had. he was helping me for a few minutes but then a coworker came up and asked him to text my crush about something and then all of a sudden i see him text my crush on his iphone about me like my question being dumb and that it was probably too much soda. i was heartbroken. but i think it was my crush's friend making these jokes cause the bubbles were gray and when he texted him his text turned gray. i mean, my crush probably did make fun of me. i just didn't see the whole text. i'm just embarrassed. i feel so dumb. so should i stop talking to him? |

Posted: 27 Feb 2017 07:22 PM PST we're in our mid-20s and we've been together about 3 months. i met her parents once about a month ago. she keeps trying to FORCE me to hang out with her parents and whatnot on random saturdays. sometimes im busy and they live kind of far away like 45 miles or something. ok so 2 things happened. last week on Friday afternoon she texted me and was all like "you're coming to my parents house tomorrow." i texted back "i can't do it this weekend. i'm busy. maybe next weekend." she was like "this is not ok. you have to try harder to impress my parents." she acted like she was gonna break up with me. i was like wtf cuz when i met her parents they seemed like they liked me. she seemed to calm down by Wednesday and then she was like "my parents are going to be in town on Sunday. let's go out to eat with them." so i said ok. on Friday afternoon she texted me and was like "they're not coming on Sunday anymore. we're going to (their town) tonight to see a movie." i was at work and didn't get done until 5 just in time for rush hour. i texted back and said "i'm not doing that tonight. give me more notice next time." she texted back and said again "this is not ok. we're done!" is she a psycho or something? So, today i confronted him about liking me but not being very into me. He said, I like you so much. Then I said, ok....BUT are you crazy about me? He hesitated. Lately I ve taken this stance that I m only interested in girls that don t sleep around alot. I ve taken a step back and I ve began to realize that. Good girls don t really exist anymore. Every girl that I know is sleeping around with multiple people. Girls at bars, parties, friends, friend of friends. And I ve noticed that alot of guys that are dating there so soul mate have no idea that the girl there in love with has screwed around alot. I ve began to get to know some girl and find out that she s been passed around. I hold myself to a pretty high standard. I don t sleep around much. I don t message girls, I don t chase them, and I realized that I won t ever get a girl by these habits I have. But all my interest goes out the door once I get to find out that they get around. I ve know cute girls that I really like and my friends like 5 or 6 tell me yeah I ve slept with her. Idk I guess I m just different, but will I really find what I m looking for by this hang up. My mom left when I was 2 and I ve never really had a woman in my life that actually put effort into me or showed me that they cared. | Question: Should I be paranoid because of this guy who was videotaping me? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 07:00 PM PST The other night I was in a store waiting at the register with my dad and this guy walked in. You could tell by the way he was holding his phone he was trying to take a picture or something. I stared right at it. Once he walked past I saw the screen and it was indeed a video. He was moving it like around the store showing everything. I said something to my dad but he just said maybe he was on facetime trying to help find what he needed. It made sense so I was like whatever. But then he walked up to the register next to us, put his thing down, and stared right at me while facing the camera at me. I made perfect eye contact with like a dirty look on my face with the man and the phone. I then said something again to my dad and him and the worker once again looked at the guy. By this time I was really freaked out so I gave my dad a hug and left. (I Drove Myself) I am 19 btw. Once I left my dad said something to the guy and the guy replied "I'm from Russia I dont speak much english and im just capturing all the moments." Should I be scared? That sounded like a weird reply since his license plate and inside the car looked like it wasn't a rental for a trip or anything. Idk what do you guys think? |
