Question: I only want marriage when I have a "mushy" feeling. Is this normal? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 07:19 PM PST I'm 22 years old. When I'm with my boyfriend and feeling all "mushy gushy," I want marriage. Then, when I'm back to my personal life when he's not around, I don't want marriage. I've been indecisive about marriage for a long time, but I've finally realized why. It's the emotions. For some reason when I have an "emotional high" I want marriage, but when I'm back down to earth I realize the reality of marriage and I don't want it anymore. I want to make up my mind and choose one or the other, because this is emotionally exhausting. Why is this happening? Is this normal? How do I stop this from happening? |
Question: Fiancé used to use Craigslist to hook up? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:36 PM PST My fiance and I have been have some issues lately. Mostly because he can't fess up to ANYTHING he has done. Most recent, I found an email on his email that was from Craig's list (it was one of those female spam ones) but I asked why he kept getting these, of course, no clue!!!! But then I decided to log into his craigslist account to see. I then saw that he posted about 3 Years ago an Ad about hooking up with someone, NSA (no strings attached, like who knows the lingo unless they do this often) also, d/d (drugs and disease free) I didn't know what those things meant so I had to Google! Now, we weren't together when that was posted but I asked him and he denied everything. Now I just feel gross and I'm about to marry him! Idk what to think . |

Question: I think my father is secretly having sex with my wife? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 06:23 PM PST I'm 27 and I am married to my wife who is 26. We have been married for 4 years. My wife has been going out every Saturday night recently. When I ask where she's going, she says "Just going out with my friends" or "My friends and I are going shopping". But when they do go "shopping", my wife never brings anything home. One time when I called my mom to talk to her after we haven't talked in a while, I asked if dad was there (I wasn't suspicious at the time. I just wanted to talk to my father). She said that he was out at his friend's house. This was on a Saturday night when my wife was also out somewhere. My father is 63 years old and my mom and him don't have sex much anymore. When I was on the phone that night with my mom, she mentioned something about money being removed from her account and she doesn't know what for. This made me really suspicious because if my wife and father are having sex, they are probably renting a hotel room to do it in or something. I told her to check her card to see what the last purchase was, but she keeps forgetting to. The messed up part about this is that even if they are having sex, I would never know because my father had a vasectomy after I was born so he could never get her pregnant. My wife and I are planning to have a kid soon, and this will not be a healthy relationship if she really is cheating on me with my own father. How can I find out for sure? Should I just follow her in my car one night when she goes out? |

Question: Do you think I am being unreasonable ? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 05:54 PM PST Download on the App Store Yahoo Answers Now Download on the App Store Do you think I am being unreasonable with my husband? Should I just accept his responses? The other day my husband came home with a plate . I simply asked where it came from. He shut me down and said what's the deal with me asking. A girl made him breakfast and they do that a lot at work so drop it. A couple of months ago he came home and there were women's shoes in his car. Same response. Then he lied and said they were his moms. Next day they were in the trash and he said they were from an ex before we dated. Then he asked why I didn't just trust him. I mean am I not allowed to ask why there are women's shoes in his truck? Every time something like this happens he acts like I'm a terrible person for even asking. I'm starting to feel insane. I even asked how he would feel if the situation were reversed and he said he would just trust me. I actually had his truck cleaned a few months ago so I know they were not in there before. I'm pregnant, I feel so confused. He said at this point he doesn't know where the shoes came from and that I should stop accusing him of things. Yes I may be going overboard because I feel like something is not right, but I do t think it's fair for him to come home with a plate from another woman and expect me to just say not a problem at all. Im so confused. |
Posted: 28 Feb 2017 05:02 PM PST After numerous problems over the past few years that we've been married, including finding out he had a sexual encounter with someone he met online, my husband finally admitted he doesn't want to be married anymore. I have stayed and tried so hard to work it out, but he doesn't seem to care. He's basically been living life as a bachelor; going out with friends every weekend; attending parties and not inviting me; staying out, and having 0 interest in doing anything as a couple. Well about a couple of weeks ago he finally told me that he doesn't want to be married anymore and said that we are better as friends. Of course I am devastated but what's even harder is that he has told me that he doesn't want me to move out and wants to keep living together...he keeps asking me if we will remain friends. I told him I can't promise him that and I can't promise him that we can keep living together. He basically wants to switch from being married to being roommates, and it seems to have no effect on him whatsoever while I am having a very very difficult time coping. I also asked about divorce and he said he's in no hurry to get divorced. When I asked if he will date other people he didn't really have an answer but told me he's okay with me dating. I am so confused. He is not interested in counseling and is just happy to be my roommate while i'm miserable. Does he want me or doesn't he? I still want him. Thankfully we don't have children involved in this. What should I do? |
Question: Have you seen what Abdul has done to me ? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 04:38 PM PST I didn't want you to see me like that, you're my husband not my case officer. It's OK if you did see it, I won't be angry, I just want to know? |
Question: Whats should I file Joint or Full Custody? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 02:51 PM PST My wife left 2 days ago and I have not seen my kids since. She refuses to let me see them. I have seen courts will look at your living situation. I live on my own now in a house with 3 bedrooms. I have no guns or drugs. My wife took of to her parents small single wide mobile, and there are currently 7 people living in it. Her father has guns and marijuana in the house. Should I file for full or joint? |

Question: [Marriage Board] How can I deal effectively with a clingy husband? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 01:37 PM PST He knows he is clingy. He tells me it is because his father died when he was a child and then his mom became ill. I am sympathetic to that, but there are times when I feel just plain smothered. He doesn't want me to go anywhere or do anything without him. I tell him I love being with him, but there are times when I'd love to go out alone or with the girls. I don't want to feel joined at the hip with him. I don't think he'd go to therapy because he doesn't feel there is a problem. Thanks to those who have provided useful answers. I have appreciated that you have taken the time to help. |

Question: Good ways to make myself less lonely when husband is away? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 01:26 PM PST I work from home full time, and my husband works a normal 8-5 Monday through Friday job. I have a severe case of fibromyalgia, lupus, and some anxiety issues. When we got married, I agreed to move closer to his family with him, but I left behind basically my entire life, family, and friends. My health prevents me from being able to drive safely, and we live way out in the country on a quite isolated farm, which I actually enjoy. Anyways, his mother is a widow, so he takes care of her. I love that about him. He is the most generous, caring, and selfless person I have ever met. His mother is just like that too- such a wonderful woman! Her poor house is in some severe architectural distress and every time this comes up, he is basically gone from dawn to dusk 7 days a week. And when I do see him, he is too tired to interact or pay any attention to me. My health prevents me from going with him (we ve tried that). I end up feeling hurt, rejected, neglected, and I also have severe anxiety about being alone. Well...now the house needs another couple months of work....He had told me that he was going to make sure to stay home with me on sundays so we could be together or go on a date or something, but he has already changed his mind about that. I don t know how to deal with another extended period of time where I feel so horrible. I end up missing him so much and its almost worse because when he is there physically, he isn't there mentally, and Its just awful for me. I am looking for some advice on how I can cope with this? I have tried to talk to him, but nobody has any money to hire professionals. I know my only choice is to suck it up and deal with it, but I am needing some major advice on how to do that without crying and moping around for months until this nightmare is over for the 4th time since we've been married... all ideas are appreciated :) I know my only choice is to suck it up and deal with it, but I am needing some major advice on how to do that without crying and moping around for months until this nightmare is over for the 4th time since we've been married... all ideas are appreciated :) |

Question: Husband texting female coworker? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 12:08 PM PST I recently found out my husband was texting another female who he said was a coworker and he met at his second job which is valeting cars. He said they only texted here and there and exchanged # bc of work. He never told me about her at all! Anyway, I checked the phone records and they didn't talk through text on the phone everyday it was here and there but for a year and a half. He felt really bad and said he would never talked to her again and that all they talked about was work and me? I've seen what she looks like and she is not attractive at all. He has felt bad about the whole situation, told her he never wanted to speak to her again and changed his phone number. He told me he lied because I would have been pissed. He denies and emotional or physical affair and said he thought of her as another male coworker. He has always been a loving husband, who is never away from home accept for work, and before seeing this text I had no idea he would be talking to a female. He never hid his phone or acted shady and said she meant nothing to him. LYING is inexcusable and I am upset but is it possible that he is telling the truth about it just being friends? PS the quality of our marriage is good. We have a lot of sex, go out and have fun, and he does everything with me! He said he's still so in love with me 12 years later and is 100% happy and there was nothing going on. Hmmmm? I have to make it clear that he did lie multiple times about the situation and hid it and in the text message she was calling him hun. That's why I'm upset and have trouble believing it was just friends not bc I'm a control freak. |
Posted: 28 Feb 2017 12:03 PM PST I have been married for 2 years to a man who abuses me emotionally and verbally. The suffering is intense. My life is miserable with him as he is always putting me down and calling me terrible names. I never had the courage to walk away despite all of my suffering. But lately, I met a man who makes me feel wonderful about myself, he makes me laugh, he compliments me, he calls me every day.Nothing happened nor will it happen as long as I am still married because this is against our principles both. Yesterday, we were talking and I was DEEPLY troubled, he urged me to file for divorce and to end my suffering; he told me that I was a wonderful woman and that any man would kill to have me by his side; that this marriage was probably a mistake, to get a divorce, and to become free again and find the right person. When I told him "what are you talking about? What right person is there for me?", he answered "You are a young and amazing lady, there is a right person for you…" He went silent for a few seconds and said "He is probably already out there". I have a gut feeling that this man likes me as more than a friend. He calls me EVERY SINGLE day and we talk for an hour or 2 on the phone or over a drink,he comforts me, compliments me saying I'm amazing. He also told me that he is never the type to call a woman every day, that am the only one he calls! what did he mean by "he is probably already out there"? Was he talking about himself? Does he like me? Or is he just being friendly? |
Question: Why do i have to give my husband Oral pleasure 1st in order to have sex? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 11:47 AM PST My husband has spent a lot of his young life incarcerated. We dont have sex like the norm (laying down to go to sleep and get aroused by laying next to your other) Our sex life consist of putting on a porn with (Anal being the subject) and me giving him oral sex till he's ready. Things is is that 1. he takes along time till he's ready to have sex and if i stop because im tired he gets an attitude and totally blows me off. 2. sometimes he'll fondle me with his fingers and thinks he's getting me off, next thing you know he ejaculates in my mouth. In order to have sex this is what Must* happen, im tired of doing it! |
Question: What should I get my husband as a gift? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 10:42 AM PST I want to get a gift for my husband, but have no clue what to get him. He's had every movie collectible and collectible grade dinosaur under the sun, but those things he got before we got married and are super expensive. I have a budget of $100. He's not into sports, tools (he works with them, but it's not a hobby). I've done the home cooked meal on many special days. He's not particular at all and having 2 wild little boys, we can't find a sitter. So what should I do for my husband or get him as a gift to show my appreciation for him. |

Question: How can I get him to understand this? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 10:17 AM PST My ex husband gets our 3 kids every other weekend plus the following Monday and brings them home on Tuesday. Today when he brought them home, the kids looked exhausted and when I asked if they went to bed at their set bedtime he casually brought up the fact that him, his girlfriend and her son watched the human centipede last night and my ex allowed our children to watch it with them! He also told me that I had to stop babying them so much because him and his girlfriend had to stay up with them after the movie was over because they were scared. When I tried telling him that it was the movie that scared them he laughed it off saying that I also watch horror movies. Which is true, but I watch them when I'm home alone. How can I get him to understand that when his girlfriend and son are over on his weekend plus Mondays and they want to watch those movies make sure that the kids are in bed or wait until they are back with me |

Question: Family support during wife’s illness? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 08:21 AM PST My wife has some major health issues that she's been in treatment for and recovering – Its stressful for all of us (my wife , myself & daughter). We have one relative in town my sister-in-law; how we've gotten little support from. She did visit my wife once in the hospital but other than that nothing. My in-laws rarely call and never visited. I asked my father to come up and help out with things. It's disappointing that my wife's side doesn't reach out more – but I just try to stay focused on the support we do get from others. Wanted if others had similar experiences & how did they handle it? |

Question: Was I wrong for defending my ex husband? Posted: 28 Feb 2017 07:10 AM PST My ex husband (and father of my kids) isn't the best dad in the world but he also isn't the worst. I've called my friend multiple times to vent about him and unload and she has been there and been very supportive. He has had some legal issues which have prevented him from being around our kids alone. He pays child support each month and is good about that but it is a small amount and based on his salary from 7 years ago which has since increased substantially but I don't have the money to take him back to court. He doesn't pay for their insurance or medical bills or school, I do and I struggle because of it. He sees his kids once a week for a couple of hours supervised and is good with them. I was talking to my friend about how I was happy that I am that he is supportive of me and is a good dad and she told me "I shouldn't go that far" I then came to his defense. Was it wrong of me to defend him? |

Question: My relationship isn't the same since my trip, what can I do? Posted: 27 Feb 2017 11:50 PM PST I have been with my boyfriend for over a year. We talk about marriage and moving in together often. A couple of months ago we got into an argument over me being too close with my ex husband. We were not speaking for several days and I booked a trip to see a guy friend of mine out of state during this time. we began speaking again and I took the trip anyways. My boyfriend seemed fine and supportive about it. However ever since I arrived back home our relationship has been different. My boyfriend seems distant and doesn't seem to be putting the effort into the relationship he was. We are still together but we he doesn't come over as much and has quit texting calling as often. He also never likes anything I post on Facebook whereas he used to love everything I posted and gave me lots of compliments. He seems to have quit trying altogether. He also made some comments about thinking it was weird he had never met my guy friend I visited but didnt care that much anyways. How can I get my boyfriend back and repair my relationship? |
