He never initiated conversations and could barely carry a conversation. Never made an effort to see me again. So I gave up trying. Then after weeks of no contact, he texted me out of the blue. Just to engage in friendly small talk. But nothing came out of that conversation. Since our last pointless conversation over a week ago, I haven't heard from him. Im confused what his intentions are. Is he waiting for me to text him? Is he trying to see if im still interested? Did he change his mind about me? Does he need his ego stroked? I dont get it. For example, I was going on a road trip with a platonic male friend. I expected my bf to put up some sort of fight, but he just shrugged and said okay. He let's me go on trips with other men and doesn't even tell other men toay off when they flirt with me (I've seen him get into fights over smaller stuff). Posted: 10 Feb 2017 07:17 PM PST This guy and I are in our late 20s, I had just gotten over a 1.5 yr relationship and then met him, we started casually dating, and he was actually my first, and the first time we did it was the fifth date (those 5 dates spanning over about two months). We decided the next week that it wasn't going to work out: it was mutual, and he said it was cool, & he wasn't sure if he was ready. However, he still wanted to see me (aka have sex and do 'friend things' as well). Even after a total of five months (not counting the two months we actually dated), we've had sex a handful of times and go out to do stuff as friends, so, the dreaded 'FWB' rut. After a 3 week period of not much contact between us at all, he texted me and asked how I've been and if I wanted to get together and hang out soon. I don't want to draw this out longer than it needs to, although I do want to hang out with him. Should I approach the subject, because I am past the 'hookup' stage and am ready to start seriously dating someone now, and am figuring out how to tell him. He and I talked about a lot of personal stuff when it was hot and heavy (topics we BOTH brought up), and those topics ranged from our families, politics, the occasional dumb conspiracy theory (lol) as well as moral code, values, the education system, philosophy, so more than surface topics. But apparently, when I'm not around, all they do is say negative things about me and reminisce about the days when I WASN'T his girlfriend. We have a couple mutual friends, who I feel like are hinting to me that he likes me - one always asks me "have you seen (guy)?" or says hey "(guy) was just talking about you - he says you got the fellowship!" and the other once said "(guy) REALLY likes you" I moved across the country for grad school 2 years ago, and since then, every year he fb messages me to say happy bday, asks me how I've been, tells me something about himself, and then we have a conversation for a few hours, even though he can clearly see that hundreds of other people wrote on my wall instead of private messaging me. I still have feelings for him, but I live across the country, and I also don't want to do anything while he has a girlfriend - basically i dont want to break them up, but i would date him if he were single what do you think all this means? Does he like me, and if so, how come he hasnt made a move? |

She is considered pretty popular and might be in a relationship with a guy but I'm not sure. I'm pretty average. She had never said a word to me until last Thursday. We went to state competition and our friends hung out so we ended up talking quite a bit. On Friday I noticed her looking at me and when we got to class she said hi and we talked a little bit. On Monday she smiled at me and said hiz I wasn't in a good mood so I said hi but didn't really continue the conversation. On Tuesday she completely ignored me. Wednesday she ignored me until my friend walked into the room and was trying to get her attention. I told her that and after she talked to my friend, she turned around and smiled and said thanks C. Yesterday she ignored me again. Today I saw her in the hallway and she said "what's up C" and smiled I said hi but we were passing each other so that's really all that happened. At class though, she didn't say anything to me even with plenty of chances. I just don't understand what is going on. |
