Let me give you some background, I was raised by a single mother, she was mentally hill and suicidal. During my young years my mother tried to kill herself about 7 times. My father at the time resided in another country (7 hours) away. He never came to see me during these difficult times. The only person who would be present for me was my aunt. My mother died of suicide about 5 years ago, I finished college about 9 months ago. I currently started a new job in the same country and city where my father resides. He accepted to have me live with him but I wasn't interested because of the how dirty his house was. But I accepted because I didn't have a place to stay. After living with my Dad for two days I realized just how much his house was in a miserable state when I realized his couch (where I was sleeping) and his bed was infested with bed bugs. I freaked out and I got so angry at him calling him all types of names. I felt like he had once again let me down has a father and that he was a person I could never count on. Now I'm wondering if I could ever forgive him! I thought that me being here would bring us together but it has obviously I don't we can.

I am sued by my ex bf for custody for the baby. I see lies on the documentation I received. My ex bf arrested for domestic violence toward us(me&baby) and he is charged for 1st degree misdemeanor. His criminal case is currently open. And the case was open when he sued me. But on the document I received says there is no other case open. Which is completely lie and it matters so much to this custody case. How can I request to correct the false document? I am in Florida. I don't have lawyer... please help me

Are my parents crazy losers and how to deal with them? they've been abusive for years. I'm in my 30's. I wanted to get a new car bc/ I got into an accident and was getting money for my car. What I got was a crazy father- lunatic in his 70's acting like a psychopath, abusive, crazy, and my mother both harassing me, discouraging me, acting all nuts over me getting a car. I guess they were disturbed I could afford financing for 8000? that's not a lot of money but they were freaking out.. the negativity they showed was extreme- major. They don't want me buying a new car for myself, and then wanted me to suffer for it. Then my crazy father said he's not going to co-sign or be involved and they both harassed me at dinner. At this point I think they're really crazy and evil sick and need help. Hi there. My name is Megan, and I really want to get a laptop for my birthday. I want one because, well, it's difficult as I live two lives sort of. One is with my parents at our house, where we have a laptop. My father bought it and put a password on it, neither my mother or I know the password he selected. It is difficult for me to work on things such as homework assignments at home unless I ask him to turn on the computer and get all in my business. My second life is at my grandparents home. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, my parents both work after I come home from school. My father does not think I'm ready to be kept home alone quite yet, so I go to my grandparents house. They have two computers: One is for my grandfather to download his war games and play them in his free-time. It has no internet. The other is for the whole family to use, and my grandmother uses it very often plus puts all of her personal items and downloads on there such as a parental control for my uses. She chose Net Nanny for me, and it limits my ''gaming''. It blocks even the simplest games, such as ''MovieStarPlanet'' and ''Habbo''. It also does not let me view clothing websites or go to social networking/social websites such as FaceBook. Again, I want a computer for many reasons. I am not irresponsible. I want it mainly for school work. For example, since I switch homes, I could run into homework problems. Say on Wednesday I'm given a report to type. I type it at my home and save my work on that desktop. Then, on Thursday I need to work on it again, as it is due the next day. My parents work Thursday, so I must go to my grandparents home, where I can not complete it, therefore getting an F on my report. I could also use it for research. In my history class, we do projects each year. This year you pick a topic and research it the whole year then present your knowledge. I had to spend hours, sometimes days working on research as my grandparents computer has Net Nanny an blocks things (my report was on something simple, and innocent: cats). I'm 16 years old, and I'm not one of those people who think they have a terrible life but really don't. No, my life really is bad and I have no idea how to handle my life for the next two years. So I'll start with this: my life has been hell ever since I was 5 years old. My parents argue nearly everyday, and in the past have gotten into actual fights. I've witnessed my mom try to kill herself multiple times, and my dad just says how stupid she is when she tries to. My dad's an alcoholic, and my mom has admitted to me she's done/ does drugs, I don't even know anymore. My family is full of drug addicts, I hate almost everybody in my family, and I know their not very fond of me either. My parents don't live together right now, and have never been married, and I live with my mom. I've seen and gone through so many things that I wouldn't wish on anybody, and still have random flashbacks and nightmares about some of them. I'm so stressed out that I've been crying nearly everyday for the past eight months, and for the past 2 weeks I've been crying myself to sleep. I get excruciating chest pains to the point I can hardly breath everyday, but I'm scared to ask my parents to take me to the hospital. I'm scared of my parents, and really don't like them, they don't even act like parents. They don't trust me, but I've never done anything for them not to. I've never smoked, done drugs, drank, gone to a party kissed a guy, or anything. I get really good grades too. I hardly have any friends at all, because my parents don't let me go anywhere ever with them, and I've just started to distance myself from people. My birthday was yesterday, and instead of it being my 'Sweet 16' it was the worst birthday I've ever had. At midnight my dad threatened to come over and "put a bullet" through my mom's head. I stopped believing god, because I've been praying for 11 for anything in my life go get better, and every year it gets monumentally worse. I'm just thinking of resorting to suicide.

Let me begin by describing him first. My father is an extreme perfectionist. he is a 40 year old man. He has lost an extreme amount of money on the stock market. He hardly sleeps, since he trades stocks in an international market (opens ..1:30 and closes at 4:30 am or so) He gets angered very very quickly. He is also not afraid to make fun of anybody at anytime, and again, he is an extreme perfectionist. Let me explain myself. I am anything but perfect. I am an 18 year old weighing about 120 pounds. I look like a 14 year old. I keep getting mistaken for a young teenager. Just today I went to my dentist appointment, and she said "Tell your mommy this" - Out of respect I did not say anything and just played along...They didn't suspect anything till I payed the $400 balance. Back when I was in 11th grade, when guests would come he would say "This is my oldest son, he looks like a 6th grader cause he doesn't like any food" Do you know how embarrassing that is? He does not care!

I will buy everything myself. I make good grades, go to school, and I don't smoke, drink, cuss, etc., and I never ask for anything, so I think I deserve to get something I want, especially because its no cost to my parents. I did stretch behind my parents back, but I had to skip a few sizes, so I got blow outs and infections. Now my mom thinks I'll get an infection every time I stretch my ears. She also says she needs to know more about it, but she doesn't know what she wants to know, so she wont ask me anything, but I have told her the size I'm going up to and showed her pictures, told her how to stretch, explained and showed her the different sizes, told her the point of no return, and explained why I messed up the first time. My dad just doesn't particularly like the way they look. He doesn't have a reason to not let me do it, so he just says he doesn't want me to disfigure my body. I think the real issue is that he doesn't want other people to see it. I think my parents will be embarrassed by it (I live in Tennessee, so its not like ever other person has stretched ears, so they aren't used to it). My mom is half way convinced to say yes, and that will help convince my dad. Anyways, do you have any ideas on how to convince them to let me stretch my ears? I really hate piano. I have been playing for almost 7 years. I never liked it and always wanted to stop. I hate the lessons, practicing, recitals, etc. I hardly ever practice, so it's really just a waste of my parent's money. My dad doesn't really care about me quitting, because he's not really a musical person. I have asked my mom repeatedly when I can stop and she says, "You're not stopping." When she does talk more about my requests to stop, she says things like, "oh, so you're going to be a quitter now" or "so in life, whenever things get hard you're going to quit?" I already do theatre and volleyball after school. My mom was made to play piano as a kid, so she makes me do it. How can I convince her to let me stop?

When ever I don't feel good I tell my mom, of course. I often say "mom, I don't feel very good". And she responds... while screaming. She gets really, really mad when I say I don't feel good, and I don't know why! She says things like "pull yourself together" and "stop faking it" but I'm really not. I don't know what to do and I can't just go to my dad because he lives in a different house and if I text him my mom gets more mad and says things like "you can't run of to your dad all the time!!" Then when she starts making me get ready for school and I start crying she tells me to "suck it ups!" And "don't be such a wuss!" What should I do?

I swear on my life, I've never actually gotten the equivalent of a B in my life (I came from India, where they didn't use letter grading). That is why I skipped a grade. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford going to a private university. Still, I later got into a good job only. Eventually, I got to move to the US. Now, I have a 12-year-old son. I want him to go to an Ivy League and start a company, which was always my dream. At first, he said he wanted to be an artist (what a stupid idea), but he later agreed after itold him he would become a beggar if he was an artist. I mean, I come from a really poor family, and I don't want my son to undo all the work I did. If I manage to make a salary more than double that of a normal American while coming from nothing, he can achieve evenore. However, he never studies. He says he has better things to do. Until this year, he still managed to get A's, which are acceptable. However, I wanted him to do extracurriculars like a math club. It would help him being par with his much smarter cousin. If he managed to get A's without studying, I think he could do something good if he studied. However, I checked my son's grade and saw a B in science!!!! I yelled at him about it, and he said he studied. I don't believe him, because I never saw him studying. He asked for a tutor, but the others kids don't need a tutor to get A's. Why should he?

I deal with anxiety and twice I got hit with a strong dizzy spell and my vision went almost blank. Today I went in the shower and felt very dizzy and I was left like with this dizziness till now, I do have a lot of worries, one being that I get a premonition I am going to lose my mom and it scared me very bad, it happen a month ago when I watching tv and it just hit me this strong feeling like I days out abc image me crying and really felt lost, I always worried for my mom and get feelings and thoughts that something will happen and I won't have her, for years and I get it strong but this time was different, I actually like got a vision or something, it wasn't just a horrible thought that came out of no where My mom is only in her 40s, she cares for my sick granddad, my two younger sisters, and she doesn't even enjoy life or live it, she has a belly button herina do from her last pregnancy, she deals with anxiety that 5 years ago she got one so bad when driving she almost pass out and now since then she hasn't drive really I remember years ago asking my mom if she gets the same negativity of not having any of her love ones here anymore and I believe she said yes, I remember when asking her that time I was getting it so bad that I won't have her. Now I'm here scared that I won't have my mom, and I feel dizzy and scared that I'm sick and have cancer. I know you're going to say just call, but I don't want to end up in a homeless shelter with my one-year old. We do have a car. It isn't a "pride" thing. I've just been through a lot and I can't trust strangers around me and my baby. Could they give me a voucher to a hotel? Or possible shleter with us in a room to ourselves? Their 3 year old son is constantly getting our 1 year old daughter sick. Two weeks ago it was the flu, this week it's croup. They constantly blame other people for getting their son sick and then they say he just has allergies. I'm so frustrated with having doctor's bills or missing work because they can't be responsible and keep their son home and not bring him to parties. STAY HOME!

My fiancé and I have a fantastic relationship. Unfortunately he has an older "special needs" cousin. I use that lightly because the guy is old enough and smart enough to know right from wrong. His family has given in to all requests since birth and that's what he's use to. However, my fiancé is being harassed by him with constant text messages during every time of the day about how he wants to spread his cheeks and get a hotel room with him because he's jealous of me and how much time I spend with THE MAN IM GOING TO MARRY. This has been driving me insane and my fiancés family thinks he just wants to spend more time as cousins but we both know he's extremely creepy and it's uncalled for. It makes us both uncomfortable and especially me trying to get along with all my new family members. We're all close with the grandparents and this morning I had enough and finally blocked his number on my fiancés phone through Verizon but I know the kid is going to freak out and "tell" on me. It's sickening and we tried ignoring it but it makes me uneasy and we're sick of dealing with it. I've tried ignoring it and explaining to them I don't like it but I've just about had enough. Please help I've never been in a situation like this before and I don't need anyone interfering in my relationship with my future husband.

It makes me sad to even write this.. it's just my parents are depressed, or they're really angry and I try so hard to connect with them and be there for them but I feel like they also are bad to be around and drain my energy. I've been living with bf & his parents & brothers for 2 years now. We have a 19 month old son and I'm miserable here. We have a tiny room that is crowded, his mom's kitchen is a disaster she's kind of a hoarder and all the counters and cabinets are crowded with food/containers etc I get frustrated trying to cook anything. The house is small, no privacy. My bf had a great paying full time job but quit because he was tired of it. He hasn't worked in a few months, all he does is play video games all day. He rarely helps me around the house with our son. They have 6 dogs in the backyard and it's a mess so my son can't even go play in the yard. I always have to tell him no. We live in California and it's just getting more and more populated & stressful.. My boyfriend makes no effort to give him a better life. My best friend is offering to move my son and I into her home but it's in a different state and I'd be leaving my boyfriend for good. I'd have her home to myself all day bc she works full time. I would go back to school and work to give my son a better future. He would have a clean home to play in. i feel bad taking my son away from his dad. He's lazy, doesn't work but he's not a bad person. He doesn't go out, talk to other girls, or do anything like that. I guess he's just LAZY and I'm tired of living like this. Should I just go for it? I'm going to be hurting a lot of people especially his parents they LOVE my son. Im never the one to hurt anyone.

Hey mamas to be! So, question. I've been having all the classic symptoms; bloating, fatigue, VERRRY sore breasts, extreme mood swings etc. and of course a missed period. But I've taken 3 HPTS and one blood hcg test at the hospital, all showing negative. My period was due on the 17th. Is it too soon to tell? Or could I be having some sort of non-pregnancy related hormonal issue? Have you ever had a pregnancy that didn't show up right away? Thanks everyone

I gave my 6 year old daughter a talking doll that typically talks in 3-4 age-appropriate simple sentences. She stopped playing with it for a while but I just guessed that she lost interest in it. Today I heard the doll's voice talking in an inappropriate and sexual manner! It's the kind of doll where kids can actually ask questions and the doll responds with a few words. I confiscated the toy away from her and searched the situation up online. I discovered that there's a way for people to actually "hack" toys to talk to young children. They even suggested that it's an advantage for pedophiles to target young girls from their very own homes by hacking their toys and communicating with them. It's a new thing - first it was pedophiles looking for kids to target in zoos or high school campuses. Then it was the Internet and how kids can communicate with dangerous people online. Now, the new thing is that hackers can communicate with children through "talking toys" where some kind of device is inside the toy itself. Is there a way to fix this? I don't want to have to get rid of the doll that my daughter's been wishing for such a long time but I will if I have to, I still have no idea how this "hacking" works and what kind of adults are out there trying to get ahold of little girls as young as 2 years old or whoever purchases those dolls for their kids.

We go out, we have a good time. He has issues at home with his family, I think growing pains of being a young man, and the first child to go through adolescence. But it's getting to the point where he doesn't want to go to his home, wants nothing to do with his family, and verbally fights with them a lot. I tried the pep talks, rationalizing, ignoring it so we could just have "fun" as a distraction for him, even talking to his mom - but nothing. I also think he lies to me about how he's treated.

My dad and my aunt have had a long and horrible relationship. For some reason, my aunt hates my dad and so does her fiancé. My dad doesn't want to go to family gatherings because they treat him so badly. They love me and I want to spend time with them, but I'm afraid that will hurt my dad as well as my moms feelings. They probably don't want my dad there and my mom is mad so she doesn't know either. I love them both but I'm stuck between my dad and my aunt. Im definetly sticking with my dad, but I don't want to avoid my aunt. Help please...

I'm 22 years old, and legally blind. My aunt and uncle from my mother's side of the family offered for me to come live at their house since my dad's had very unfit living conditions (no running water, and bug infested, it was a cabin in the woods) so I took the offer and now am somewhat regretting it. I agreed to pay 200 a month no big deal. Well I'm frequalty finding myself visiting other family recently, over Thanksgiving,Christmas, birthdays, family needs, visiting my girlfriend. Usually I'm gone for weeks on end and when I come back my uncle still expects me to pay. And on top of that he said I also need to pay an extra 70 for food (when I'm there I don't mind) I told them when I moved in I'm trying to save every cent I get (700 from supplemental security a month) so when my girlfriend and I are ready to find a place I will have a very good start on a savings. Should I stand up and say something? I don't mind paying for what I use I also understand they didn't have to offer to let me stay there either, just looking for opinions. Thank!

Okay so I pretended to be a 13 year old boy named Derek on Xbox. I'm really 53. My grandsons name is actually Derek but he's only 6. The boy that I was talking to (14) found out by searching my last name and he said he knows I'm lying. He also said he's gonna tell his parents and they may call the cops. My brother and sister keep stealing my food and drinks. I m tired of it and I just want them to drink/eat something gross. I don t want to do anything with laxatives.

I lost my top and bottom retainers. I told my mom and dad. Mom yelled at me for being irresponsible and whatnot. Dad tells me he will to the ortho to see what can be done about it and tells me to calm down since im looking pretty down and on the verge of crying because during that my mom burst out saying that i have to quit track (the sport ive been doing for 4 years now) because of this. Please someone help me. I dont know what to do. A little background on my mom is that she is very stubborn and strict. And unreasonable. Once i tried to convince her to let me get a dog. I hit all the points of being responsible and i will take it for walks blah blah. But she only kept restating her same point as a reason not to even though i had proved it wrong on multiple occasions. The verdict by the way ended up that we dont get one. So please i have nowhere else to go. My dad doesnt really have any say against my mom

Lately I ve been questioning my past and everything lately and I am still questioning, was I abused? When my brother and I were about 4 and 5, whenever we did anything wrong like talked back, whined, complained, had an attitude, or didn t listen, our father would slap us, hit us, grab us by our ears and sometimes our neck, he would sometimes kinda pinch the back of our neck. These never left any marks or visible wounds, but was the abusive due to being excessive or for us being so young to be punished like that? Thanks

I think I'm sick my nose is stuffed up I have this whole week off and we get back on Monday should I stay home? and what do I do if my Dad and step Mom don't believe?

So, my brothers are troublesome. They are angry and don t get good grades. My oldest is 18 and in college. The other one is a sophomore in high school. I m in seventh grade. The younger one was in DELTA last year which is a program for troubled students where you can t interact with anyone. Now, he is better but gets D s and F s in everything. My mom constantly is in front of his bedroom door saying, "Did you do your homework?" and striking up conversations but she never talks to me. Recently I became sick and like clockwork, so did he. I just want a week where my mom pays attention to me and I don t have to work so hard in all my classes and keep my head down and staying out of trouble. The only reason I act all nice is because I don t want to be the cause of grey hairs on her head. Anyway, my cold is SLIGHTLY sub siding and his FLARES UP! He is SO dependent upon our mom now and she waits hand and foot on him. I actually started looking up ways to make me sound sicker. I just want her to treat me like she does him and for him to stop being so dependent on her. Am I bad for this?

So, my dad lives about 3 states away from me, and he has lived there for about 5 years. He really wants to move to my state and I want him to, too. He is depressed because he cannot come to my state financially - he can't move. We call each other 2 or 3 times a month, but I just want to spend time with him in real life. I am young, with no job or car, and I just want my dad to be happy and spend time with me and my brother. What do I do?
