Question: How much do the people that decorate the halls for weddings and wedding receptions make? Posted: 04 Oct 2015 09:30 PM PDT I work for this person that decorates wedding receptions and I don't think I'm getting enough pay. I wanted to find out how much these people get paid hourly? |
Question: How would I begin searching for someone who can apply embellishments to a dress? Posted: 04 Oct 2015 07:39 PM PDT Hi I bought a blush lace dress for my brother in laws wedding that I thought would go nicely with the theme. They are planning on having a low key wedding with a dinner to end the night. There will be 200 guests going. My husband saw my dress and said it was ugly compared to a dress I wore to my cousins wedding. I told him you couldn't compare the two because the dress code for my cousins wedding was formal and it was a lavish affair. His brothers wedding is at a bbq joint and they've already mentioned how they have no plans to decorate or spend much money at all. I really don't want to go over dressed but I'm wondering if anybody knows whether seamstresses can embellish the dress a little? I'm also wondering if you all have any ideas on how to embellish it to make it look better? Thanks in advance! I'll attach the photo of dress |

Question: Looking for a cheap place to hold a small wedding reception in downtown Cleveland.? Posted: 04 Oct 2015 09:25 AM PDT We are planning a ceremony at the Aquarium and have roughly 70 guests. Must be indoors. Would like somewhere by the water with windows, not required but would like. We also don't need catering, a cake, DJ, or any other services. Just a pretty room with tables and chairs. |

Question: What's the best go about buying a house and an engagement ring? Posted: 04 Oct 2015 07:49 AM PDT I have $5000. I am looking at putting a small down payment on a house( as little as possible so that I can still keep a cushion in the bank) but I also have to buy an engagement ring. It doesn't have to be super expensive, but it can't be cheapo(no more than $3000). If I have to have these two things, what's the best way to go about it? I'm guessing I'll have to finance the ring, and like I said put a very small amount down on a house to keep some money I'm the bank. I know $5000 isn't a lot, but most people can't even save that. So how do they do it? I've never been in debt and o don't want to be but I need to figure out how to do this. The house doesn't have to happen right now, but I will need one in about 4 months min. The ring has to be before the year is out. Please help. Thanks! |
Question: Realistic estimation of the costs associated with getting married? Posted: 04 Oct 2015 05:45 AM PDT Long story short, I'm in the military and intend to marry my fiance in the near future. Due to my occupation, living expenses are more or less automatically taken care of save for wedding expenses and furniture. With that being said, can anyone give me a realistic estimation of how much a small wedding can be expected to cost as well as any expenses or experiences they may have on the issue? Any advice from married personal would be greatly appreciated. |
