Question: I feel like my future in-laws think they know what's best for me and my future hubby? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:21 PM PDT I registered online at Kohl's, and my future hubby's sister texted me that I should un-register for the dinnerware set and the silverware set because someone else is purchasing something different from another store. Ummm.... no. I have a feeling that his mom or someone found cheap sets at goodwill or something, and are expecting me to just be "ok" with that. What's wrong with registering for nice, new things? I feel like, if it's out of your price range or if it's not your taste... get a different gift or don't get me anything. Just the presence of them being at the party is what makes me happy!!! I don't need gifts/money to make me happy, but the things I registered for are things that I would like for OUR home (my hubby's, mine, and our children). We'll be the one's using them everyday anyways... isn't that the point registering for gifts? I feel like they picked out these other sets just to save money (his mom loves second hand stores) I do as well, but I just don't understand why I should be expected to take something off my gift list because someone wants to save money. I don't even expect to get all the gifts I've registered for; I wouldn't even be mad if I didn't get any. But I don't feel like I should be told what to do.
Question: What to wear to a wedding rehearsal? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 07:56 PM PDT So I m playing in a flute quartet in a wedding on Saturday and tomorrow is the rehearsal. However, I m a high school student and this was set up by my school music teacher and he s not sure if the rehearsal is informal or formal. We haven t gotten any information about it really. What should I wear since I don t know which it is? I wouldn t want to be the only one dressed up or the only one dressed down. Can someone please help? Also, would a maxi printed dress be too dressy for the rehearsal or should I dress down even more? Any help would be appreciated(: Thank You!

Posted: 09 Jul 2015 05:12 PM PDT Not really that old but I plan to have maybe 2 children and her time is almost out and I dont want to be rushed. I love her and I know I should have considered this more before I got engaged but love is blind, not rational.
Question: How much to charge for pictures? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 01:34 PM PDT I was attending a wedding, and took a lot of pictures the bride and groom asked me to edit and them the pictures. They keep telling me to send them a bill, but I am unsure of how much I should tell them the cost. As of I have roughly 10 hours of editing done, and have at least another 5 hours of work.

Question: I can't get any groomsman or the best man I want? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 07:15 AM PDT getting married in 6 months and my real friends are all on the west coast and I'm in the middle of the country as I moved and fell in love with a girl I work with. I visited Seattle where all I friends are and my best friend works in the timber industry or will be and can't make it. The rest of my friends...well most of them either have no money or a real job and still live with their parents, don't want to go to a wedding much less Kentucky and I've only lived here for a few years and people here are weird and I just don't fit in. I have a couple guys I hang out with I guess they are my new friends. But one of them has mental issues and I think he may do something weird at the wedding. All my family is on the west coast from Seattle to Los Angeles. So I have 1 male cousin I haven't talked to in years. Meanwhile my fiancé wants 6 bridesmaids. She's got a lot of friends but she grew up here. WTF am I going to do!?
Question: Is this a good way to propose? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 06:06 AM PDT My girlfriend absolutely loves penguins and I read this article about how penguins go and find pebbles to give to their soulmates as a signal of marriage. I'm thinking about getting a pebble-like box for the engagement ring and then saying to her something along the lines of "You know that penguins use pebbles as a sign of marriage? Well I got you this" and then i'll present the box in my hand, open it up and ask her. What do you think? Is that a good idea or not?
