When i catch them looking at me, they turn their head away real quick to make it look like they weren't staring. And then when I'm not looking at them, they start to stare again. I know this because I look from the corner of my eye at them. I don't know what's wrong with me for them to be looking at me so much. I think i look presentable. I don't think i look odd at all. So what could it be? |

With my ex, even though we were together for years, when he ended it, I stopped communication completely because what good would it do? I know a lot of women can't help themselves when it comes to a man they're into or in love with, but I've been trying to not care and close off ALL communication with guys who did me wrong. Do men respect this more than a woman who keeps texting/calling "i miss you, please let's get together and talk". She's perfect on paper. But ive noticed that she's been really clingy, needy, and insecure. I mean she was like this in the beginning, but even more-so now. I don't know what to do. I feel smothered. We text constantly everyday, and she calls me at least once a day. And to top it off, we facetime at night untill we fall asleep, and shes still there in the morning! Also, we live about an hour apart (plus traffic), it's not always easy to see each other, especially since we both work 40 hrs a week. She wants to hang out literally everyday, but that's not reasonable. We came up with a schedule where i'll go visit her on Wednesdays and Fridays, and she comes out to see me on Saturdays and Sundays. Sometimes it feels too much. I feel smothered.Yesterday, my best friend since middle school (he's a guy) wanted to hang out, and i asked her if it was okay (i haven't seen him in months since im always hanging out with her). She got mad, guilt tripped me, but eventually let me go. Idk, i know saturdays are one of our "set" days, but do i really need her permission/guilt trip to be able to hang with my friends? She's been so insecure lately. She's always asking who else i'm talking to, or if any girls are hitting on me. She even added her finger print to unlock my iphone, and changed my passcode to match hers! She's always asking to see my phone. just to be clear, i'm not cheating (cont): i'm not talking to any other girls, either. i don't know what to do, i feel so trapped! is this normal in relationships? I feel like being with her has changed me. I feel like i now have anxiety all the time, and that i'm angry a lot more often than I was before I met her. I've tried breaking up with her a few times, but each time she cries and tells me i'm the only good thing in her life. I don't know what to do. Any type of advice is greatly appreciated. |

As we were talking one of my other friends who is a guy came up to us and said "my two favourite girls." When he said that everyone in my class started laughing at me, and I just played along and laughed too. everyone always thought I was gay (which I am not) . Some of my family, friends, and people who I just Met tell me if I'm gay. I am a very hyperactive person, sometime I get very excited when I meet new people or when I go somewhere new, I tend to worry about things a lot, also I get scared easily ( like if someone were to throw a pen for me to catch I would close my eyes and let it hit me), I like to laugh and make people laugh too, and I get very nervous sometimes. For the most of my life I been raised by my three older sister and my mom. I really didn't see my dad as much because he was always working and I never had a male role model in my life. Also I grew up in a very catholic family( I used to be a alter boy but I quit last month) and a very stricter family. My question is what can I do to be more masculine, and what can I change about myself to do that ? Also what can I do to change my appearance to make me look more masculine ? Posted: 26 Jul 2015 09:20 AM PDT They invite you to come with them to a certain spot to celebrate something important to them, you accept although you don't really like the place and you could do other things instead. When you are ready and they arrive at your place, they start attacking you and criticizing you about your hair and your clothes, asking you to change them and they even enter your room and try to make changes to their own liking. For example, they close your window although it's very hot outside and you want it open. They act as if they have no boundaries and they want to impose their will on you. You get mad and you tell you that you changed your mind and that they should go by themselves because you are upset and not coming. Then, to top it all off, they refuse to go if you are not coming with them and although they were saying how important it was for them to celebrate this event and go to that spot, now suddenly the moment you changed your mind after being pressured by them, they also give up all their plans and decide to stick with you in your place where you don't want them because they pissed you off. They also try to make you feel guilty as if you are the one who destroyed their plans although you told them to leave and celebrate by themselves. How do you deal with toxic people like that who abuse you first and then play the victim later? They are your parents, so you can't really escape from them. HOW DO YOU COPE all your life living like that? We are all adults. I am over 30 and they still can't stop treating me like an insignificant child. |

Even though we had a real chemistry, he blew it off after 2 weeks. We remained somewhat good friends after that. I recently heard some shocking things about him. Right after he broke off with me, he started dating another girl for a longer time, one that I also knew. I ve been told that they had a real chemistry as well. I've also been told that he dated two girls at the same time and other things. I have a pretty good insight into other people s character. Although at that time friends told me that they did not have a good impression of him, I trusted my intuition which was good. After hearing the stories, I feel really foolish. I even wonder if he s been using me in a psychological way. It makes me regret everything between us, including our friendship. Usually when someone looks at me even just for a second i get so agitated and so angry. I don't feel happy about myself and everytime i look in the mirror i just see "fat" and many imperfections. I hate clothes shopping as i hate the way i look in clothes and especially bikinis - last time i tried on a swimsuit i cried in the dressing room. I rarely smile anymore and when someone does smile at me i look down and don't smile back. I rarely find anything funny anymore and most of the things i enjoyed such as drawing and video games don't bring me happiness anymore. My emotions are neutral, i never get excited or upset and never show it even though i feel it on the inside. I scared of judgement and looking stupid infront of everyone and i criticize myself alot like when i make a mistake it sticks with me for awhile. But I'm now at a time in my life where I'm finally getting my **** together personally and emotionally and I'm proud that I am. However, not even a year ago I was someone who people didn't want to hang out with. Especially in my dojo (martial arts school). I had (and still do) have a bad rep. Stepping on personal boundaries, burning bridges, being mean to people, etc. Nothing big (child molestation, murder, no no none of that). But I was told by my sensei (martial arts teacher) that my stating with the population "isn't good" and although he personally doesn't have any problems with me, he has a responsibility to his community and school to "keep the peace". I know that he has a responsibility to keep "his flock" together and to "weed out undesirable elements". But I want to ask the community your thoughts. I'm committed to improving myself as a individual off and on the mat. I have a lot of emotional baggage from childhood (which is a different story) and it seems that no matter what I do, there's a faction which WILL NOT forget who I was/and what I did years ago I've been with this school for 7 years now. So, what are the thoughts out there? I'll update my post if necessary. |

I also did somethings really important and that meant a lot to him. One week later after we became best friends, he started messaging me a lot less. Before he used message me right away and even apologise for answering a bit late. Now he doesn't really do that. There's days where we are in the middle of a conversation and he just doesn't respond at all. I find my self having to send a 2 messages just to get a response. It's like he's been ignoring me or something. I know he's not busy because I see he is still online and posting status updates. Also now we go days without contact. I don't get responses or I do but days later. What should I do? I've tried acting the way he's been to me and nothing changes. When I do that he says if there's something different with me. I've even caught him lying quite often about not messaging me. His behavior towards me has changed. We still call each other best friends/buddies though. I do feel as he's my best and he was the one to say it that in the first place. What should I do? I feel ignored. I don't want to directly talk about this to him because it is really awkward for me. He used to be very talkative towards me and almost always messaged me first. We are in the middle of a funny conversation or a game and he just doesn't respond. This most recent time he message me first and we played a game but in the middle of a game he didn't respond at all. Now it's been over two days without a response. |

My parents made us split up, I started dating someone else months later, and ended up pregnant by the new guy I was dating. After finding out I was pregnant, Kenny contacted me and told me he wanted to work things out and help me care for the baby. I decided I wanted to stay with the guy I was pregnant with and never talked to Kenny again. That relationship failed and I ended up marrying someone else and we have been separated for nearly 3 years. I haven't spoken to Kenny in about 19 years but I really would like to offer my condolences to him. I thought of mailing a sympathy card to his parents' address. I don't know where this ugly A$$ old man lives and I also don't know what kind of car he owns. The dumbest thing he did was when he took a picture of the license plate, because my cousin doesn't even live with us and we don't wanna involve him in this situation. I don't let people into our private property. We only allow the police, close friends, family, and strangers that ask for our permission come into our house. What that man did wrong was not asking for our permission and was being rude. He came into our property without even caring that was getting in big trouble. Do you think I could report him? I know how he looks. He thinks that the United States has freedom of speech, which we do have freedom of speech, but not always. I don't know if he's racist to us because were Mexicans or something else. |

I told him what I didn't like which was how he would joke about guys sneaking out my house or say I better not have anyone there and stuff like that saying who I'm talking to caz I took 5 minutes to reply to his message he just say dumb things and the other one was how we don't spend a full hole day together or whatever like 1 hour to 2 hours a day isn't good and we love walking distance we have a good relationship but their are some red flags but I ask him why he ask he said it's a reason but he not gonna tell me and like I said before about the jokes or whatever you wanna call it I sometimes think like when you point the finger there's three pointing back. |

I am an undergraduate but I am working on a bachelors degree in electrical engineering . I graduated high school which was probably the worst time of my life . I have never been in a succesful relationship . no matter how hard i try and compromise it always hits a point where they get bored and leave . not thinking once about how I feel about them walking out of my life A lot of women in my town in clifton are overweight . have a sassy attitude and think the world owes them something . good looking women go only for rich guys . I also noticed that not just me have this problem I have never seen a teen couple stay together . so many single moms around I dont wanna deal with it . Should I look into a russian hookup website where i can meet a girl in person and not be catfished . i know they exist . if you could pinpoint me thatd be great I do not doubt my looks . I know I look decent and I workout all the time . |
| Question: My brother gets treated better than me.? Posted: 25 Jul 2015 07:43 PM PDT My brother is 32 and will be 33 in a couple months and i turned 22 a few months ago. I got grounded for 2 weeks for taking one puff of weed and he smoked like three of them in one day and he didnt get into trouble. Also i asked my dad yesterday to come and visit me today and he soaid no cause he was to busy. But he really wasnt. Cause he went out of state to visit a friend. It makes me sad. My mom wont even let me smoke cigarettes. If i do i get in trouble. I cant even smoke them even though it is legal. My brother smokes pot and he doesnt get into trouble even though it is illegal. When my brother was 13 when he drinked beer one time amd didmt get in any trouble amd you have to be 21. Im 22 and if i do that i get into trouble. My brother never gets into trouble for doing illegal things. Im not allowed to call the police if my brother smokes pot when it is illegal. Cause they will punish me. |

I've tried to like her, I've made many attempts to spend time with her, get to know her, because he asked me to. She's spread around lies about me, she told everyone that I slept with people I didn't, she so much as told my mother that I was a nasty whore. She's always told me he'd be better off with her, I'm not the jealous type so that didn't bother me, what does is she has always tried making me look bad in front of everyone, she's spilled drinks on me, saying it was an accident, made rumors about me cheating when I hadn't, told people I had an std (I don't) she 'accidentally' tore my dress on my birthday last yr know if I asked him not to invite her he wouldn't but he is also close to her parents. I'd want them to come and see his wedding, and if he invites them he wants to invite her too just to be polite I guess. Is it selfish to ask him not to? |

He tried to cheat on his gfs with me a few times. He manipulatively succeeded once, while w/ a girl he planned to marry. we had a big fall out. I told his GF. I was heartbroken by his treatment of me, it took a long time to get over. He swore he would never speak to me again. He moved on quickly. A month later he moved another girl he cheated with into his apartment. I met her once before. She fallowed him around like a puppy and couldnt wait to be with him. 3 years later, they have been married for 1 month, and she is 6 months pregnant. He contacted me by email 2 wks ago, testing the waters maybe. He didnt know I already knew all these things. I let him take the lead, I wanted to see where he was going. We texted a bit, but he didnt volunteer anything. I finally asked him about his relationship status and he told me he was married. Never mentioned who he married or that they were expecting. He then apologized for how he treated me.He started flirting, and later tried sexting. this went on for 3 days. I have not heard from him since. I am looking for some insight on this. I'd like to think that he hasnt changed, and I should be glad he is no longer in my life.part of me wonders if his flirting was just a slip up and that he is a changed man, I wonder if she got the good version of him after I got the bad. |
