Question: My parents take my phone away for dumb reasons. Can someone please help? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 02:58 PM PDT My mom takes my phone away for telling her to shut up and to leave me alone and for saying stop and cussing. Is she right to do that? |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 02:53 PM PDT I'm a single mom. I had my daughter when I was 16. The father stayed around for two years, but eventually he decided leaving us was better than being in a committed relationship and committed father. He broke my heart and my daughter's heart. It was six months before he contacted us again. Even now he only sees his daughter once every three or four months. I'm 20 now. I haven't had a boyfriend since. I've just been too busy raising my daughter and going to school. Most guys aren't interested in young single moms, and that's fine with me. However, recently There's a guy who was persistent in asking me out. I thought he was super cute, but I wasn't interested in a relationship. I didn't feel like I had time. I tried scaring him off by telling him I'm a single mom, but he kept asking me. I eventually said yes because he is super cute, very persistent, and one date isn't much of a commitment anyways. I was hoping to go on the date to just tell him I tried and it wasn't going to work out. However, as much as I didn't want to admit it, I loved the date. He was such a gentleman and he made me laugh so much. I went on a couple more dates with him. I'll admit I have a big crush on him. On the last one he tried to kiss me. I wanted to kiss him, but I didn't let him. There are some things I'm not sure about. I like him a lot, but I'm not sure if I have time for a relationship. READ MORE I don't want to get in a relationship unless i can make it a priority, but between work, school, and my daughter I don't know if I have time for anything else. I'm also worried about how this would effect my daughter. I've never dated as a single mom partially because I'm worried about how dating guys would affect my daughter. I have a horrible vision of some guy breaking her heart like my ex did. I'm worried she might get confused if I keep dating guys. I'm also worried for myself. I'm scared to get my heart broken like I did before. Dating me would take a lot of commitment. Being a mother makes it so I'm not the typical carefree college student. However, as much as I want to deny it, a huge part of me wants to be in a happy relationship so badly. I love the idea of being with someone who loves me. My daughter is amazing, but it's not the same thing as being in a relationship with a man. He's also older than me (28), which is good. I would need someone older due to where I am. I think he's a great guy and I really like him. I just hope he doesn't change when we date. After he tried to kiss me I told him I really, really like him (and not just as a friend), but I need some time to think about this. I've been thinking about it for a week, but I haven't come to any certain conclusion. Should I date him? Should I not date him? Why/why not? If I do date him how can I make it so everything works out the best for my daughter? Could I have time to date him and do other things I need? Any advice is helpful. |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 02:53 PM PDT He went out a bought a huge fan, but claims he still can't sleep its' too hot. He hasn't come over much since either. I told my daughter if they want it that cold (upstairs has separate thermostat) give me money towards the bill. That was a no. I want to be nice but I don't want a huge bill! When I cook Sunday dinner, he only likes chicken breast, no seafood or other meats. It's hard, I'm 63 and want to cook one meal. But if he doesn't like it they east out. I kind of feel like he likes things only his way, never trying another food or restaurant (same thing, only ones he likes). |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 02:52 PM PDT i have a 16 year old brother! his so annoying as F and useless.... my parents were on the bredge to divorce because of him they were fighting all the time and blaming each other for why he became like this: he is a video games addict ! doesn't like to go to school ! spend many hours infront of the laptop just eating and farting! and sleeps abit than he wake up agan for the same circle... he is causing me a hard time i can barely study because his noisy while playing! and during my collage exams he made caused a problem between my parents made them fight almost everyday and stressing me even more! but they are still carring about him and spoil him too much thinking that his just a kid but really i can't stand him anymore! i want to leave and study far away from home to rest from this whole messy family but my parents didn't let me they said they want me at home at least to feel they have kids at home that helps them when they need cause my bro is almost invisible! he doesn't listen to their problems and seat with them like i do his just there in his room playing... please help me i'm losing my mind i can't stand the life here anymore.... i even thought of suiciding! i just hate everything i want some freedom i feel so sorry for my parents that's why i can't say no to them about my studies! i'm their only hope and i don't want to break their words! enough what they are having already |
Question: My boyfriend s family is always in his room!? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 02:47 PM PDT My boyfriend s family members are always in his room, and it makes me feel weird. Like they re a really close family but is it weird that whenever he s not there, EVERYONE goes in his room and uses it to sleep in his bed and play in his room? Even when we are there sometimes, they still sleep in there and stuff. It makes me feel weird to lay on the same bed that 5 other people have slept in throughout the day. It s like his room is a hotel 😒. |

Question: Girlfriend Wants To Go Clubbing? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 02:36 PM PDT So me and my girlfriend have been going out for almost three years now and we are both in college and have an apartment together. She likes to go out which is fine with me. I trust her 100% and I don't mind if she goes out without me. The thing is that she doesn't want to go clubbing unless I'm there and I really dislike going out. I don't drink or smoke so being around people who are just drunk or gone is annoying. And she won't go out without me so I'm dragged to these clubs just to pretend to smile and pretend to have fun. And she knows that I do not enjoy it. I ask here why she doesn't go out with her friends but the thing is she doesn't have many friends. So it's just me being forced to go out with her which annoys me |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 01:10 PM PDT Im am a boy and 15 years old, Im homeschooled, and let me just say I get along just fine with my parents but i feel like they have a little too much control in my life and its starting to get on my nerves. Part of this might because we sort of just moved where I am but this had been goin on a few months before that. I haven't gotten to hang out with any friends or girlfriends of mine others for an entire year(i'm also single because of this) Why? Because I was always asking them if i could and they said "no" Why? because we were "too busy". And that just pissed me off because we really were not. But it was often true because we had to come all the way to this house every single weekend. (which did worsen the situation) And on some of the other "busy" days were just us putting countless time into pointless housework and unnecessary errands. Then theres other problems like them forcing me into playing stupid games and watching boring reality tv shows. I would love for this to end because I know theres more to life then watching tv and playing stupid, boring card games with the people I am already with 24/7 a day. I mean I wake up to these people, I eat with them, I am constantly with them. And what really sucks is that I will be stuck in this place until I am "old enough" to move out for college and "sweet freedom" Man I will be so ready for that day its not even funny. I would prefer advice from those who've been in this same situation but any advice would make my day! |
Question: How do I talk to my wife about sex? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:57 PM PDT In the beginning we had a passionately lovelife, but gradually over time it has died. We have not had sex since last year and she gets annoyed when I try to talk about it. We are physical, but not sexual. I don't complain, but it's starting to get to me. How do I get her to open up about what is really going on?. And no, I am NOT gonna cheat or get a divorce. |
Question: Urgent! Going on a trip without parents (panic attacks)? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:49 PM PDT Im 14 & supposed to go to Galveston in 10 days with my Aunt and uncle. I hardly know them and feel weird around them. I will be 8 ******* HOURS AWAY FOR A WEEK! I cant even stay at a friends house for one night. I have begged my mom and offered to pay for her plane ticket but she refuses. My dad also died last week and this is too much stress to handle. WHAT SHOULD I DO? These panic attacks are extreme. |
Question: HELP???!! younger cousin might have sexually assaulted me? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:41 PM PDT HELP!!! im really confused im 16 and my cousin is a boy who is 13. and we were hiding from my other cousins because he insisted and he insisted to hide behind the door tightly pressed and would touch my arm and leg saying its a massage, and i think i could feel his thingy on me down there the whole time. BUT HES SO YOUNG so am i overthinking it? |
Question: Does anyone know what this insult means? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:19 PM PDT okay so somebody said "are you still wearing that dog collar?" and when i looked it up the first thing that came up was "she fag" which would make sense because i like girls, but then again i don't know if they would really say that to me. is it like a canadian thing or like ?? am i dumb? |
Question: My friend is 18 and his parents want him out of their house.? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 10:47 AM PDT However he doesn't have nearly as much money as he needs to support himself. He has a job and he was going to go to community college for his associate's but now that they're kicking him out that's not the plan anymore. His family is very wealthy but didn't allow him to work until this year too he's only got about 1k saved up. basically my question is: what can he do? what resources does he have or any financial aid? I just really want to help my friend out. *His relationship with his family is shaky. his siblings and him have a great relationship His dad however doesn't -- there has been some domestic abuse, his dad wants him to be working every minute that he can (which he does) but he expects him to pay for ALL of school and for his own car and apartment even though he knows he's not financially able to. their reasoning for kicking him out is because they can. |
Question: One night stand contact timeframe? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:12 AM PDT I met someone at a bar last weekend and we ended the night at my house. Regretfully, guy was unable to perform and threw up most of the night. Sucked too because he was super hot! Anyhow, took him home early the next morning. He said he was embarrassed and would like to try again sometime and I agreed and that was that. I know it was just supposed to be a one night thing, but I was left hanging and frustrated ... Anyhow, I'm not one to initiate contact because I feel like the ball is the his court, but I'm wanting to know if there is some kind of etiquette here? Like if he hasn't called me in the next week or what time frame would you expect a contact before you would say there was not going to be any contact? |
Question: How to deal with my boyfriends 18 year old baby mama? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:09 AM PDT Okay don t judge don t be rude I m very hesitant to ask about this but I need help. I m 18 my boyfriend is 19 we ve been together a little while now and I love him very much we have a home together. 3 days ago his ex girlfriend had a baby that she claims is his but we don t know because she slept around before they broke up. She has been rude to me and just a plain b**** to him. Saying she won t let him see the baby and things such as that. Since the baby has been born his family is telling him it looks just like him when he was born now he s claiming it. I don t know how to feel about any of this and I don t know how to handle this situation I feel sick thinking about him having a baby with someone else. I m very bitter about the whole situation to be honest. I just graduated high school and I m getting treated for cancer I have a lot of stress as it is but this whole baby situation eats my nerves up bad. I don t mind that he has a child what bothers me is her being rude and mean and trying to prove us unfit. He still needs to get a DNA test just to be sure it s his but if it is we are going to have it rough. I just don t know what to do. Leaving him is NOT an option I love him and we have a home together. I just don t know how to feel about all this what should I do how should I handle it. Are my emotions normal. HELP PLEASE. |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 08:50 AM PDT I'm really in love with my boyfriend (and vice versa), but sometimes he just mad over the pettiest things. for example, i surprised him after work yesterday after not being able to see each other for a while, and it was great. we exchanged "i love you's" and "i miss you's," but because i went to see him, it prevented him from running an important errand at his bank, which concerns his rent money. it's not my fault that he was unable to reach the bank in time, is it? because truthfully if I hadn't met him, he would've been able to get everything situated. i suggested that he goes today, and I offered to go with him, but he cancelled all of our weekend plans, and says he doesn't want to see me for a few days? he refuses to say "i love you" and i just don't know why his behavior switches so instantly... am i missing something? did i do something wrong? every time i try to confront this issue, he blames it on how he was raised... neither of his parents played significant figures in his childhood, but i don't know if that's even remotely correlated to his temper? i know he loves me, i don't doubt that at all. i just want to understand why some people have the worst tempers, especially towards loved ones. thank you **he isn't mentally ill. his temper is just awful. |
Question: My acne is making me feel really insecure!? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 08:13 AM PDT (I'm a boy, thought you should know.) It's the summer now and I have been feeling insecure about acne all over my face. What I think is the most confusing thing is that in 8th grade girls actually still thought i was good looking, even with pimples all over my face. But my guy friends make fun of my acne, so I don't know what to think. Personally I think it makes me so ugly and i'm embarrassed around my friends or even random people in public.I tried face creams, practiced good hygiene and a good diet, nothing works...i'm not asking what I should do, but I want to know if I should really feel so insecure about myself or feel that i'm good looking like all those girls said i was. |
Question: What would you do in this situation? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 06:38 AM PDT My guy friend and I made out on the couch and after we started kissing for a while, he leaned up and grabbed the end of shirt and took it off. I've never seen his abs or body ever. After we made out for a while, he asked me if I wanted to go upstairs with him. He's a pretty fit guy, 6'5, muscular and has the sexiest facial features. We walked upstairs and went into his room, shutting the door behind us. We kissed again on the bed. |
Question: How to meet/make new friends? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 06:13 AM PDT Okay, so I just graduated high school, and the amount of friends I had coming out was a lot lower than what I had going in. I'm down to a few friends, and even then I always am the one that messages them first (and they usually only hang out with me when they're bored). Anyways, I have acquaintances with my coworkers and most people don't dislike me because I'm a nice guy. But I've never hung out with my coworkers because 1. Most of them are several years older than me so they can drink and I can't, and 2. I'm just not a very outspoken/exciting person I'm quiet and really only talk to people if they talk to me first. People seem to think I don't like talking, but I do, I'm just not good at starting convos. And I really don't know where to meet people my age (18) I live in a fairly small town not much to do socially to meet knew people. So, I'm 18, and don't have any strong bonds I don't really have any social excitement. I mean, I'm ssure your advice will be get out there and talk to people, but like I said, wouldn't know where to go, and talking to someone I don't know is nearly impossible to me. So any help? |
Question: Working weekends problem with boyfriend..? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 05:56 AM PDT Me and my bf have been together for about 2 years & have been living for 1 yr now. Ever since he got with me he's closer to his parents and gets along with them. When he was little his parents left him to his grandparents (due to money issues). He goes over to their house almose every weekend. I'm happy he's relationship with them is better than it used to be. My only problem is that he works m-f 7am - 7 pm and I work some weekdays and weeknds evening but on weekends I'll have a double. I work in a restaurant (I expect that) we are both 22. I'm a full time student in college so for me it's hard to find a job that fits my style because of school. (This is why I stay in school so I can eventually work less and make more $$) lol but my bf always argues that I work weekends. It gets annoying because when it comes to his family he will drop anything to do what they want to do. But with me itll be a problem sometimes. His family has off weekends. But only his 2 siblings are 10 & 13 so of course they dont work and his other sibling is 18 and works so is never with them. I understand spending time with them but I can't all the time. I have my own family friends and life as well. I just feel like he rather choose his own family sometimes even though he tries to involve me a lot. I like them and get along with them. I request some weekends from time to tim. But its my job and can't always be doing that. What can I do? |

Question: Really tough situation. Please help.? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 11:09 PM PDT Okay so long story short ny dad has alcohol problems and it got so bad that DYFS took my brother (14) and I (16) out of the home. He was placed into Foster Care and me with my aunt and uncle. We've been in this situation for almost 10 months now and my dad has until January to fix things and get us back. But now he is losing he apartment because he doesn't have a job/money. As some may know, DYFS has really strict guidelines to follow. I just feel trapped and so do my aunt and uncle and it's causing tension between them and I and they're the type of people where talking doesn't help. And I'm not allowed to go out of state and see my boyfriend who I've been with for almost 2 years and was able to see him before any of this happened. He has been my rock and I haven't seen him in 6 months. My family won't help me to go see him or have him here and his family terribly wants to take me in but DYFS/my family will never allow. My lawyer told me I may not even be allowed to go there for even just prom. I know my boyfriend is not logically my biggest issue but it's taking a toll on me after me having to be an adult since 10 years old and my mom dying andnot having many friends. I'm going to therapy for depression and anxiety but I'm still suicidal every now and then. I'm so angry that my childhood has been taken from me and I don't know what to do from here. Nobody (not even DYFS) seems to want to understand/support me and I'm sick of it. |
Question: I like a guy, he likes me back and is thinking of official dates, I don't feel ready? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 11:04 PM PDT Helloo, I'm 15 years old, turning 16 and there's a guy in my school. We recently started talking and stuff and told eachother our feelings. He wants to start going on official dates and stuff but I don't know? I'm pretty awkward and super busy and have never been in a relationship or done anything. I've always felt like I'm too young. Also my parents have always made me feel embarrassed to talk about boys or anything because of their reactions to stuff like that. Should I just try it out and go out with the boy? |
Question: Why does my mom expect me to clean her stupid mess?? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 09:27 PM PDT She expects me to clean her mess she made in the shower and I need to take a shower but I can't take a shower with her mess in there. |
Posted: 17 Jul 2015 09:13 PM PDT I'm just really curious to what people think. Please don't report me to the police I'm just on this asking spree on yahoo answers. Do you guys think it would be fine for a brother and sister to have sex as practice not out of passion. Would it be justifiable if they just want to know how it feels like. |
Posted: 17 Jul 2015 08:06 PM PDT A doctor who delivers the child will make the gender choice for the child. The best thing to do is to let the child grow gender neutral and let the child make the decision of their gender choice. A child usually knows their gender at a very young age. Have you ever heard about this? |
Question: Is it weird that I have a crush on Drew Pickles from Rugrats? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 08:03 PM PDT I'm attracted to nerdy men who wear glasses, not to mention he's very intelligent and has a nice paying job. I also think it's sweet that he's a doting father to his daughter Angelica. |
Question: I'm pregnant and this guy won't leave his wife for me? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 07:12 PM PDT I know this married couple and as of a few months ago, the husband and I have been sleeping together. I found out that I'm pregnant and I told him and he told me that I needed to get rid of it because this wasn't in his plan. But I love him. And I want a family with him so bad. We planned on moving to New York City together this winter and he would divorce his wife so we could marry but now he doesn't want any part of this. I don't think abortion is right though. And he has a daughter with his wife, so why is it such a big deal for him? He hasn't texted or called me back since I told him and it just sucks. I see him everywhere I go and every song I hear makes me think of him. I have never been pregnant before and I'm actually pretty scared. It'd be nice for him to be there for me but he's been acting like a child. What can I do to get hin to leave his wife for me? I do love him. And our child needs a dad. |

Question: Why do my parents treat me like ****? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 07:05 PM PDT My mom ignores whatever I say because I keep crying for my problems. She has begun to ignore me and shouts at me, mostly insulting me all the time. Sometimes she has good mood swings but most of the time she ignores whatever I have to say. My dad continuously ignores my presence. We had problems in the past. Mostly we fought physically and insulted each other. My sister also puts me into trouble( she is 9). She plays with me then she also insults me by saying I'm mean and everything. She ignores me too around her other friends. Everybody ignores me wherever I go. Even outside people don't acknowledge my presence. I don't know what to do. My whole family/ outside world treats me like this way. I don't know how to react. I'm put down. Please any advice is appreciated! No rude comments! |
Question: Birth control question!? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 06:51 PM PDT So I ve been on birth control for 10 months. I ve never missed a pill or been more than 30 mins late and that hasn t happened recently. But my boyfriend and I had anal sex recently and he finished inside me. I know if it leaks out and comes in contact with the vagina it can go inside and you can get pregnant. A very small amount may have dripped down or I worry that something may have accidentally gotten on vagina/inside when wiping or when it was coming out. But I should be okay though since I ve been consistently on birth control, correct? |
Question: Why Does He Go To The Gym All The Time? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 06:45 PM PDT My friend is overweight and her husband pumps iron at the gym. She said her husband goes to the gym all the time. He told her she should start working out to tone up. Does it sound to you like he is cheating on her or at the very least looking? My friend also said he goes to bars with his friends. Makes me wonder why he goes to the gym all the time. If the only reason is to work out or if he's looking for or hanging out with other women there. Something just doesn't seem right to me. Am I see it correctly? |
Question: How to come out bestfriend/girlfriend ( same person)? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 06:28 PM PDT I really like guys and I'm afraid to ask her |
Question: My son embarrassed me in front of the fellas what should I do? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 06:18 PM PDT Well this is what happened. Me and by four friends were meeting as an Italian restaraunt for some quality time to discuss the finer things in life, and well i had to bring my son since my wife happened to be at the supermarket. I was nervous about this because my son just isn't ready for our type of intellectual conversation since he isn't really all that bright god bless him. Well when we got there everything started off pretty good, and i ordered chicken alfredo which i consumed along with red wine. But then, my one friend Recoome, noticed my son and started talking to him. Well eventually he asked my son to com analyze the work Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes and explain the relationship between the don and his squire and why as the story went o n, the don seemed to get more grounded in reality while sancho panza in fact became more of a romantic dreamer. Well my son didn't even read the book it turns out. Needless to say i was shocked and mortified. How should i punish him? |
Question: Ok so I like my dads cousins son, so I m pretty sure he s my 3rd cousin.? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 05:51 PM PDT I haven t talked or seen him since I was 6/7 until recently. I liked him when I was little too but I eventually got over it. I m 14, freshmen and he s 15, sophomore. I know it s wrong since we r slightly related technically. But if he was just my hot, ripped cousin I wouldn t make a big fuss over it. He IS hot and ripped but he s all honors and still innocent and extreamly sweet and it s hard to explain but he is litterally the definition of a perfuckingpection guy. We both LOVE music and while he plays the piano while I sing with him and we had a moment when we stopped and I think we almost kissed but we both pulled away and ughh. I don t know what to do. Because I know I won t find a guy as perfect as him |

Question: Ignore it or accept it? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 04:41 PM PDT So I am a 27yr old man. I am a personal trainer, about to open my own gym, and have an MBA from Syracuse. So I consider myself ready for a family But my kid is about to be born into a secret life. You see, I met my fiancé back in our Freshman year. We hit it off immediately. We are great together. Perfect partners. She knows everything about me and I of her. We both do nerdy things like go to ComicCon. We both are huge movie buffs. Gym rats. We both travel. Similar in so many ways! One day, when we were dating, I told my parents that I was taking a friend over for dinner. (At this time she was already my fiancé of 1day) My parents were drilling me saying they hope its the girl I've been talking about nonstop but I kept saying it wasn't just to surprise them. When we arrive, my parents are at the front steps to welcome us home. When my fiancé got out the car, my parents got quiet. Real quiet. Seconds later, my mom began to cry. They looked at eachother and back at her. My fiancé walked over to introduce herself but before she could say her name, my mother called her by her name first. We were a bit confused and than our parents told us, "This is your cousin, Christy! The one whos parents took to New York when she was 7 and abandoned her there." So we were already dating, she was now my fiancé, and later that night she told me that she was pregnant. Do we tell our parents? Our entire family has now reconnected with her. What to do? |

Question: I dont want certain people at my baby shower. help? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 04:14 PM PDT Since I asked once and EVERYBODY seems to have the wrong idea I'm gonna rewrite this. I'm only 13 weeks pregnant and my baby shower is a whIle away (sometime towards the end of December) and my mom is planning it still. My friend has taken it upon herself to invite herself to my eventual baby shower. She tells me she wants to do this and that and bring her 1.5 year old daughter (which im usually stuck watching since she pays no attention to her). She has zero details about my shower but always talks about how she can't wait til I get my shower. I'm having a jack and jill baby shower which means daddy will be there and my male friends or relatives who wish to go. My fiance does not like this girl. She lives 100% off the state with no effort in finding a job and uses every excuse she can not to work. She doesn't drive so I'm not even sure how she plans to get there but the point is I'm not sure I even want her there and neither does he. He doesn't want the state providing our childs things unless it ever became necessary for our family... those benefits are for her daughter not to blow on whatever. It's his baby too and just as much his shower as it is mine and I don't wanna have to choose between the two but idk what to do. |

Question: How to tell my mom I don't want to spend money without making her think I'm stingy? Posted: 17 Jul 2015 04:06 PM PDT I already posted this but I need more answers :( I'm a college student and I have a little in savings. Everything I get goes to my savings account. I live with my mom and she has a stable income. But when she doesn't have change and she needs money I give her instead of making her go to the nearest ATM. This month I payd her bills and other things. But I can't help but thinking that if this goes on I'll run out of money and I don't want to think this way because she is my mom and she never says no when I ask her for some. Unless it's something of no importance or is extremely expensive because she will have to give the same amount to my other sibillings. She tells me that she'll pay me back even when I don't ask her but I feel guilty to take it back from her. I mean she pays WAY more for me. I sometimes remind her that I'm saving so if there was an expensive thing I want to get I buy it with my money and she says "oh, right okay." But she forgets soon after. How to tell her without being rude? I don't want her to think I'm stingy. Because I really want to give her without a second thought like she does. |
