Question: 2-3 minute R&B songs for a wedding ceremony? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 10:20 PM PDT I am in need of songs no longer than 3 minutes to incorporate into our wedding ceremony. R&B preferably. |
Question: My girlfriend and I just got engaged, we need help or advice on the announcement.? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 09:26 PM PDT Her parents are out of town and will be coming back Sunday late at night. My parents are in town and expect me to be home tomorrow. Obviously neither one of them know about the engagement and because we live far apart from each other, we d like to tell them separately. Who should know first? How should they find out? Is it okay for the bride to be to hide her excitement/ring for a few days? |
Question: What do women in their 30's wear in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 09:03 PM PDT I'm married with two small children. I'll be visiting there in September. I am wondering what appropriate, stylish attire will be for touring, meeting native families, and participating as a madrina in a traditional Catholic wedding. |
Question: Bridesmaid shoe problem? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 07:37 PM PDT So originally I wanted to get my girls all matching shoes since their dresses are short and it would be cute to all match. But one of my girls has a wide foot and I'm having difficulty finding anything really cute in both wide and regular. Any suggestions? Are there any websites that sell wide and regular in the same style? |

Question: Outdoor venues: ceremony & reception? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 05:55 PM PDT Hey everyone. We are planning on an August 2016, open outdoor wedding ceremony and reception venue where I can place a tent and decorate as wanted. Any suggestions would be wonderful! We will have around 180 guests. Help?!? |
Question: Cheapest but still special way to get married.? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 05:31 PM PDT Boyfriend and I are planning on getting married. We were thinking just a simple court house wedding. Then I thought we could just find someone to marry us and it not have to be at the court house we can do a nice park setting. Just him n I and whatever amount of witness that are required. We dont have a large budget we just want to get married. Were saving the big wedding for 1 yr anniversary. So cheapest possible way to get married. I figure we just need the minister or whoever can marry us legally. Were in California |

Question: Worried about taking advantage of a vulnerable friend? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 08:01 AM PDT I am in love with one of my friends who I've known for four years. She is really beautiful and kind and someone I feel really comfortable around. A few months ago, I told her I can't help how I feel and thought we could try to be more than friends. She didn't feel the same way and so our friendship remained the same except for some awkwardness of her knowing how I feel. Yesterday, this same friend came over my place and was a wreck. She is overwhelmed with work and graduate school and has a lot of family problems to the point where her dad was just hospitalized for another suicide attempt. While I was hugging her yesterday as she cried about her dad, she pulled away and started kissing me. I couldn't help but kiss back, but I pulled away and told her, "I don't want to take advantage of you when you're so vulnerable." She told me, "you're not taking advantage. I want to." We made out for a little bit until I pulled away and told her she really needs to think about this with a clear head. She looked really hurt by this and I don't know how to proceed. I love her and want more, but I don't want her using me as a distraction if she feels differently about me. |
Question: Can you give me some November Honeymoon ideas? Tropical? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 07:25 AM PDT Hello! Thanks for looking at my question! My fiance and I are getting married this November (2015) and still need to book a honeymoon. Requirements: All inclusive Beach resort Gambling (not just slots and sports) Preferences that are not deal breakers: I'd like a sense of privacy, maybe a place with separate cabanas, and bungalow housing. We are looking to stay 4 or 5 nights, and spending 3 - 4 thousand total. Thanks for your help! I'm located in Los Angeles. I figured that all inclusive would just make things easier and more relaxing. I can get fairly money conscious, and know I would enjoy myself more drinking "free" drinks and "free" room service. |
Question: If fiance cheated on you would you wear the same ring? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 01:40 AM PDT My fiance cheated on me while being engaged, I forgave him, I know I'm dumb for doing that. He says he wants to continue with plans. I love him a lot. So I told him I didn't want the ring he proposed me with when he cheated, I want another one. I feel like that ring has negativity. Did I do right telling him that? I believe I deserve more than that. Because I was always loyal to him. |

Question: To be or what to be for a woman? Posted: 24 Jul 2015 12:29 AM PDT I have wondered about your strange custom to bring the bride to her future husband at church. Have you thought about how it might be viewed by a person from an old democratic culture? One can get the idea that the woman is legally incompetent both before marriage and within the marriage. The women in the United States and England, do they not choose their husband herself? How can this horrible custom survive in a country that claims to be democratic with equal value? Keep in mind that this habit goes back to the days when the woman was and remained incapacitated her entire life? |
