Question: Will they divorce? Sorry if this is long, but I'm freaking out.? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 08:34 PM PDT I'm freaking out right now. My dad got an iPhone, and it did one of those deals where my mom could see his conversation with a buddy at work. His buddy said "you look hot in your uniform" and my mom thinks he's cheating on her. She has a divorce lawyer set in place and everything, but communication is lacking between them severely. My dad thinks it's just one of those deals that will pass, like it usually is. He has no idea my mom has a divorce lawyer in place and what not. She thinks my dad isn't happy with her because he's never home since he has to pay for all of her expensive vacations and student loans, but whenever he calls she never answers. My dad seems perfectly happy when he's with us, but my mom and sister always put him down saying "You're failing at your diet" and what not, so when he gets treated like absolute ****, I really couldn't blame him. But with the type of guy my dad is, I just don't think he could've done it. Any help would be great.

Question: Can I pretend my first marriage never happened after the divorce? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 08:08 PM PDT I was talking to my best friend who has been very supportive through the decision of getting a divorce and she brought up an interesting point I have never thought of. Pretend the marriage never happened. Don't mention it to future lovers, don't talk about it, just view the last year of your life as a learning experience and that's it. I found it an interesting Idea, although it is doubtful I could ever do it. I just wanted to see what other people's view was on this concept. Has anyone done it before? My husband (soon to be ex) was abusive, verbally, emotionally, and eventually physically. He cheated and lied and then pretended I didn't exist unless he wanted something, food, water, money. We had been together since we were 15 and he didn't start showing these traits until after we were married one year ago (just after I turned 20). If he did show them I was far too young and 'in love' to see it. For these reasons is why she suggested pretending it never happened. Thanks! I'd love to hear your opinions on this.

Question: Should I just forget about getting married to have a baby? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 07:27 PM PDT I'm getting up there in age, I haven't met a man that would like to get married first. At the same time, being a single mother isn't really ideal for me nor am I that strong. All the people I know who have kids, had them by some unplanned situation and they made the best of it. They want you to join the crowd OR treat me as if there is something wrong with me. I feel like I am getting shunned about this topic at my age. I just want the best for my future kids. Please positive feedback only.

Question: What to do when someone is going through a bi polar moment? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 06:34 PM PDT It is 9:30 at night on a Saturday and my husband wants to take our three children out and do something as a family. I am telling him that it is not appropriate to take 9 and 13 year olds out on a Saturday at 10:00 at night. Not only that, last minute decisions involving children are usually not the best examples. They have money in their bank and he is even making them use the money out of their accounts and they are not even the ones who want to go out. Not only that, we just got home from watching a church play. So we were already our for the past couple of hours.

Posted: 11 Jul 2015 06:19 PM PDT i am married and she is married. we talk pretty intimately about our marriages (she asks if i love my wife, she tries to "fix" our marriage, she tells me she didnt love her husband when they got married, etc). i always tell her she has pretty eyes (because she does). she sent me a message that she dreamed that i left town and asked me when i will leave. i told her i am staying and she was joyful and said bye to me. what is the situation? |

Question: Marriage issue and parent issue? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:56 PM PDT Ok so my Husband and I have gotten into a huge argument to the point where I did not want to be with him anymore. We have spent a week apart to just give us some space and some time to think. We have talked things out and are willing to work together to make our marriage work. Only problem is is during this week I went to my parents, Now my parents are all against me going back to my husband because of what was said. I do feel bad because i am currently unemployed and they have gone out of their way to make sure i am comfortable here (paying bills and extra things) They want me to get a divorce and stay with them (they dont like my husband much) I love them both dearly and it breaks my heart to upset them and they are easily upset about even the littlest things. Is there a way to approach this calmly? I have thought of many ways and all of them in my mind lead to a huge argument. Yes im an adult but im also considerate of my parents feelings because i do not want to seem like i just came here just so they could spend money on me and then i up and leave.
Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:46 PM PDT Hi, My parents are divorced and this weekend I'm going to the beach with my older brother and Dad. I'm 13 years old and got my period a year and a half ago. I have my period. I sort of know how to use tampons because last year I had to. I don't think I got it in right so I never used them. My mom told me to put on a pad and put shorts over it. I don't like doing that cause everyone stared and it feels uncomfortable and leaks. I have one small light flow tampon from my friend so u don't want to waste it seeing if it will go in. What should I do? I know I'm gonna be at the beach all day. Will the tampon last without being changed? Do I use a pad in the middle of the day? Please help

Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:43 PM PDT So I am a 16 year old virgin, so I have never had sex, and my period is a day late today, but here is the thing, yesterday it was supposed to start and so I masturbated to help induce it, and that made it start so I thought, because there was a decent amount of red blood that looked like the start of my period, but as the day went it got lighter and lighter and now the next day it is completely gone. I don't know whats going on and I am so nervous and scared help?? |
Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:40 PM PDT I feel like this is more passionate and genuine than my marriage in my early 20's that ended in a nasty divorce. Can this really be the last love of my life? Can we live happy ever after? Can we mesh our lives together and survive our senior lives together? Can this really be my happy ever after? We are head over heals falling quickly and it feels so good and right. Is this possible?

Question: Sour smelling vagina? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:23 PM PDT My vagina has had a very strong sour smell to it for the past few months. I know that my boyfriend ejaculated inside me several times months ago and a few weeks afterwards I started to notice the smell. It has been at least 4 months since that happened and the smell it still not gone. It is sometimes on and off, days where there is no smell at all, or a very faint smell, or it is very strong. It s been 2-3 months and now I am starting to think it is not the semen anymore but just my vagina?
Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:11 PM PDT I'm a Caregiver who works with an agency, for the past 2 weeks I have been working with a lady(client) who needs help with chores and shopping...etc...In the beginning her husband was very nice to me..Now he just ignores me. The other day he pulled me outside to tell me my car was parked to close to his and 5 sec later told me I was ok...He had more then enough room to move and besides he told me I could park there. The other day I was walking his wife's dog and we were almost to the house. The dog and I stopped by the curb so she could sniff the grass. I saw her husband pull out of the driveway with his car, he slowly approached me (on the opposite side of the street) stopped his car directly infront of me and just starred at me for 2 minutes-no facial expression-just a blank stare. I just stood there and smiled for a minute and walked away. Eventually he slowly pulled away. I was like WTF!! I was starring a t him the other day-hes attractive-when I realized what I was doing and he noticed, I stopped.
Question: Dad is an Alchoholic? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 03:36 PM PDT So a few years ago my dad admitted that he was an alcoholic after my mom started to recognize that he was acting strange. She thought it was his cholesterol. I am now a teenager and I just walked in the closet and found alchohol. He was in the same room as me and my mom. He knew that I found the bottle. I walked out not saying anything. A few years back he said was alcohol free and if he didn't stop my mom would leave him. Should I tell my mom and mess everything up and their marriage or should I lay low and let him do what he wants. I am thinking of just letting it go. Please help. Thanks.
Question: Marriage and family life has left me empty? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 02:49 PM PDT I'm married 15 years, we two kids (12 & 13), I make mediocre income ($50K-isn't much in CA) and my wife doesn't work, doesn't want to. We live in a rental. Wife is a home body, never wants to go anywhere or do anything saying we can't afford anything and she has English as a 2nd language and has a speech impediment so she is too embarrassed & has too much difficulty to make friends with anyone. So we have no friends. She pretty much controls everything and just wants me to sit around and do nothing. Our sex life is a joke. My wife is afraid to get pregnant so she doesn't ever want to have intercourse, just does oral and never initiates, just acts like its a necessary job. I'm tired of just oral. I don't want to take the knife down there and don't want her to either. But I find myself really wanting an affair. But I don't have the nerve, money, or looks to do it. But it's in my crappy heart. My life basically sucks. I feel like I'm in prison just trying to pass the time until I get old and die. I only live to go to work. I'm always so busy at work my day flies by. I love my wife but she's not the woman I married. She complains all the time of back pain, or being tired, or this or that. It's like she just wants to be like an old lady and wants me to be an old man. At this rate I may need to get a divorce but I feel like I don't make enough to get a divorce or pay child support. Any advice? What do you think should be my next step?

Posted: 11 Jul 2015 01:18 PM PDT Last night My ex called me. He had to many beers and wanted me to pick him up. It caught me way off guard because I haven't seen or heard from him in a year 1/2. He just called out of the blue. I wanted to see him and make sure he was OK so I went. I took him home helped him to his apartment and onto his bed. I was on my way out and he got up and grabbed my waist. I got scared thought he was gonna hurt me. But he just asked if I would lay next to him. So I did. We laid there and he started talking and he said my name and said he still very much loved me. Played with his hair till he fell asleep ( used to do it when we were together.) now that I've seen him again I do miss him. We broke up because he cheated , well he kissed another girl and it caused problems . I overreacted and broke it off.( I wasn't in a good place and neither was he) I wanna know if he meant it but to scared to call him, he may not even remember.
Question: How do you kindly reject a wife that you don't want to have sex with her.? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 12:58 PM PDT Hi, looking for advice on yahoo community. My wife and I recently married 3 weeks ago. Both in our late 20s, stable and very active. And we love each other dearly but I don't like having sex with her. It has nothing to do with her performance or no issue with attraction, but I don't like sex at all. She asks me everyday and I have to make excuses to avoid it. I am getting a feeling that she is hurt by the rejections but how can I tell her that I am never interested without hurting her feelings? Divorce is not an option. Yeah see, I don't want these immature responses that Robert X has given. "Why did you marry her???" -- Because she wanted it. "Or, are you gay?" -- No, this is a very immature assumption to make. I should point out that I do take medication, does this have any impact on libido? What is troll? I am anonymous because I choose to be... no i am not watching porn but I am doind some reading about clopidogrel and impacts on sex drive.

Question: Should a husband get a chance to fix all the mistakes he made? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 12:11 PM PDT My story is I had a child with someone. I started a new family with a wonderful person a few years later. I made a lot of mistakes by using my ex for sex while I said I love her. I know it was wrong now that I am married on my honey moon I had sex with my ex. Then when I got back home I was sex texting and saying I loved her. Then one day my wife seen a text on my phone that was inappropriate. Now she is leaving me. Send our new daughter who loves us both to her aunties house where she won t see me or her and my family. We tried to work it out but she backed out because she thinks it won t work. I have changed from what I did and I won t do what I have done in the past. I love her very very much and now she turn her back on what I ve choose to do about keeping our family together! Please tell me that it will work because I am deeply in love with her and now I m losing her. I didn t know what I had until I just lost it. Which is my love of my life and my family.

Question: Is it controlling, or am I over reacting? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 11:43 AM PDT My husband and I have had argument over argument, on me wearing shorts in public. Mind you, we live in the dessert! Here it reaches 111 degree weather with an average of 100 everyday. Now I respect my husband and his concerns. But this one I can't seem to budge on. My argument is that it's hot, and I want to be cool and comfortable. His argument is that I want guys attention. SERIOUSLY?! So I go out and buy longer shorts. Come home and try them on for him and he's pouty the whole time. Insist that I take them back and wants to know why I don't wear shorts the length of his... Down to or past his knee. Now the shorts I bough are regular women length shorts. Covering three or more inches past my behind. Needless to say I was pissed and slept on the couch. Am I wrong here? Or is there an underlying problem here? My husband comes from a more modest and Christian upbringing, which I love and I didn't have the privledged of having, but I still have ethics and morals. HELP!

Question: Commitment issue... Please please help me? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 11:17 AM PDT Bare w me please... Okay so I'm only 19 but I have this fear of staying with someone forever. Especially thinking of marriage and thinking that I have to live w that one person for the rest of my life seems scary and boring. I'm not a whore either and I do like being w one person but actually thinkin of marriage and commitment scares me. Living up to 70-80 years old w one person makes me feel some type of way. Almost uncomfortable. You know I'm worried because I see all these high schoolers with their boyfriends and they seem so happy and like they're not afraid of anything. Saying I love this boy or girl. Or young college kids w their boyfriends all super happy and probably not worried about commitment. I hate this I wish I was like the other girls and I don't know why I'm like this. I hope someone can help me. My mom and dad divorced when I was two. My mom has been w my stepdad for 16 years and my dad is still single. My moms sides parent are still togethe, 50 years. Also my aunt and uncle have been together 22 years so people in my family have stay w their spouse for the most part. I just don't know why I'm so messed up in the head in that way. It shouldn't be like this and I know I'm only 19 but like I said all these seniors in high school and 20-24 y/o in college seem happy and what they want in life.
Question: Is my response to my wife's affair unreasonable and inappropriate? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 10:51 AM PDT In March 2014 I found out that my wife of 7 years started having an affair with an old f*ck-buddy from interstate in Dec 2013. It was all over the phone (dirty texts, dirty photos etc), but my wife had hidden it from me and continued to lie about it for the next 9 months until she finally revealed the whole truth in Dec 2014. Throughout this process I was very hurt and frustrated with her ongoing dishonesty and became cold toward her (I would only speak to her if I had to and then keep it very short and to the point) and there were times I yelled at her and swore at her. We have begun having discussions to help us with a better ongoing relationship, primarily for the benefit of our children and perhaps reconciliation, but she maintains that my distrust, coldness and hostility toward her about the affair and her lies is unreasonable and excessive. She also says that my request for her to stop all contact with her f*ck-buddy during our discussions is unreasonable and claimed that I was mentally ill and obsessed with her f*ck-buddy. I will admit that in the initial weeks following the revelation of her affair, I did want to know specifics about what she and her f*ck-buddy had exchanged (which I've read is typical male behaviour), but after that, my focus was on whether or not it was over and if I had been told the truth. Is my response to her affair and lies inappropriate? Am I being unreasonable to ask her to stop contact with her f*ck-buddy while we have these discussions?
Question: How would you tell without offending him? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 10:38 AM PDT My cousin is visiting me and he will stay with me for 3 months while he is attending to a training here. He showers everyday but he may not be using deodorant. Towards the evening he starts having a bad body odor. How would I tell him that he can use deodorant without offending him? It is not too much trouble for me for few months but a few people mentioned around us that he is not using deodorant. I want him to be included not excluded for something this simple.

Posted: 11 Jul 2015 07:59 AM PDT My husband and I each revived an offer from different universities in US. mine is located in Florida which is full fund with an appropriate TA salary. but his fund is partially covering his expenses and his uni is located in California. I really study hard to get this offer but he wont let me to continue my education far from him. his course is only one year but mine is 5 years and it means that after he finished, he should come to Florida. he think that good jobs are in CA so we should stay there and my visa then become dependent which means I cannot work. we are married for 4 years and I worked for 7 years so, its make me crazy to become a house wife!!! what should I do? should I insist on going to FL? should I stay with him as a house wife and try my chance to get an offer in CA for next year? I honestly do not want to leave my life here in my country for a year and come back to the same stage again.
Question: My family disrespects my wife and I am sick to my stomach being caught in the middle..? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 06:40 AM PDT I don't do this "poor out my problems" bs.. But I'm fed up with my family at this point. My wife, she's awesome! We are young, she's 23 and I'm 25.. We've been together for about 4 years now. I'm a simple guy. I like to drink and unwind, get rowdy with my friends, kick back and chill. She is the best thing that ever walked into my life. No lie. She's beautiful, sexy, smart, determined, she's hard working, driven, hell I could go on and on. She has her head on her shoulders and boldly goes after what she wants in life. Anyways, my family just does not like her. She has always dropped her friends and family for mine but mine just don't appreciate anything. They talk about her bc she's beautiful and she runs marathons etc. They talk about stupid **** like her taking selfies when she was like 21... It hurts her feelings and she has cried numerous times over the years about it. My mom and sisters really got stupid not long ago and got into it with her. My mom is controlling and tries to come between us.. I take my wife's side every damn time so please don't tell me to "man up".. Its a rough situation bc I love my family but my wife is fed the **** up and wants nothing to do with any of them now. Men, have you been here and what happened in the end? I want my wife happy but I can't handle anymore damn drama.
Question: I fantasize about other men and I'm married? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:37 AM PDT When I feel sexy or when we're having sex, my imagination makes me go wild. I love my husband but my fantasies can range from the guy I just spoke with or someone I find attractive. I love my husband but this is so awkward. However, I think sex will just be plain boring if my fantasies don't go wild. I was raised a Christian and to be totally loyal to my husband. Will my carnal desires and lust for other men send me to he I don't desire having sex with these men I fantasize unless I'm horny.

Question: Divorcing, i want my stuff from his apartment but how? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 04:04 AM PDT when we first moved in together he had nothing my family gave us a lot of stuff to help us out in the mean time, when i first left him i didn't want to take a lot of it because he didn't have replacements for the item. for example my deceased grandfathers coffee table i borrowed, but he has his own table now and i would like those very special items back. i was once on the lease but not any more, we are still married and i have our marriage certificate. he may be evicted soon so i need to act fast. i have a lot of sentimentally valuable stuff there and i cant really prove a lot of it is mine so i don't wanna wait till the divorce to get it back if he didn't throw it to the curb by then. other information tht u might need is we have been married for almost two years and live in ny state. And please no lecturing about how i should make it work hes a woman beater and cheater, that ship has sailed. thank you for your help
