When it happened, I just tried to keep my distance. I was scared. Then a few months later I had to release all my anger bottled up. The bad part was, I blew up in school, in the cafeteria, in front of everybody. The whole faculty knows and all my friends left me. They chose to believe my rapist, but not me. Why?? Please help me understand. I can't get this off my mind. Now I'll be going into my sophomore year with no friends and all my teachers having a preconceived opinion of me. She doesn't like to see anybody else happy because apparently happiness is only for her! Also she complains that she wishes she had more friends but she never wants to meet new people because she's just rude like that. For example I have a fair amount of other friends who I could fall back on and when she met some of them she was just standoffish and distant. Posted: 13 Jul 2015 05:03 PM PDT I have a friend that keeps calling me on the phone basically everyday and it's starting to get annoying like she's my friend and all and I like her as a person but there's sometimes when I like my space. She called while I was with my family watching my brothers soccer game and a couple days ago i answered her phone call and we talked for a good 2 hours and I'm that type of person who likes to be alone so I was saved when one of my parents called me on the other line. 5 hours past and she called me back again so ignored the call, 30 minutes later she called back again around 10pm so I talked to her for an hour and finally ended the call. Two days later I texted her saying I was at a party an hour later she called me and I was like "can't talk right now at a party" two days later she calls again while I was busy at my brothers soccer practice, I thought she would get the hint that I don't wanna talk all the time because I always ignore the calls now and say legitimate excuses on why I don't wanna talk. Once every two weeks is fine but not almost everyday, we talk about the same thing and it's getting annoying even her bestfriend at school one time says she gets annoyed when she calls. What do I do? |

When I said no, she said I was no help. I explained to her I was planning to go out of town that day. After an argument by text, she said she made arrangement so it's fine. Later on that day, she asked me to babysit again (I was already fine and let go of our fight). I mentioned to her I can ask my husband to babysit as I felt bad for declining. After I contacted my husband (who could work from home that day), she blurted out what point am I trying to make by volunteering my husband? I got upset and we didn't end up on a good note thay night. I told her she can play games with her old sucker cuckold husband. There was truth in there so I think I struck a chord. I contacted her the next day to let her know I already moved forward and we could start over. Since she did not respond, I decided to block her so that I wouldn't be obsessing over our friendship. Not a social media thing. That's just hiding away your true emotions in my opinion. But anyway, i need to know if i can find any good places i can meet people. How can start a conversation? | Question: Things to do at a sleepover? Posted: 13 Jul 2015 11:37 AM PDT My friend is sleeping over tomorrow. I'm 13 and she's 12. I haven't really had a sleepover in a while, and I've never had one with this particular friend. So tell me: what are some fun activities and games for a sleepover? She's coming at 7:30 tomorrow, and leaving around 4 the next day. On the second day we're planning on going to the mall together, but apart from that I don't have anything planned. My parents don't really want us going anywhere too weird alone, so we prefer to do some things at my house or in my neighborhood. Ideas? |
| Question: My only friend is ignoring me? Posted: 13 Jul 2015 11:23 AM PDT So first I am female, my friend is male. We've known eachother for 5 years. For the last 1.5 years we would hang out every day. Right after summer started this year, (June 11th, 2015) for a week for some reason we just didnt speak. Now this wasnt that bad, because he got in touch with me and I stayed at his mom's for about 5 days. After I came home however, I would message him and such and we would just do that for a couple days, and then he just ceased speaking to me. I messaged him once, he didnt reply. So i did what i normally do and tease him (he doesnt get offended, we tease each other). he wouldnt respond to my messages at all i didnt constantly message him until I finally said "Why are you ignoring me?" his reason was he was just gaming a lot, which i know is a lie considering ive known him for 5 years and know how he acts when he games. No matter what he would always reply to my messages. He hasnt said one word to me for about 27 days, and I can tell he wont respond to me no matter what. Im giving him his space, and I know hes going to New Jersey soon for a couple weeks so I want to get him to talk to me. The only thing I could come up with was it had to do something with his girlfriend. They've been dating for about 3 months and his girlfriend knows we hang out all the time. I knew her before they started dating, and knowing her it is possible she did the cliche "its either your girlfriend or your bestfriend" Help Please?? Another thing: I have a hard time making new friends because I have bipolar disorder, and practically every person i've met thinks im an ***, and S is the only one who is alright with it |
| Question: How do I stop being nervous about my 100 Metres race? Posted: 13 Jul 2015 11:20 AM PDT I ve been selected for my school for the local school championships. In the Qualifiers, I beat everyone in my year at school and everyone from the other schools. However, tomorrow is the real thing and I m incredibly nervous. I m almost 14 years old and this year my best time is 12.97 and my worst is 13.75. Is this good for my age? How do I stop the nerves? |
| Question: Online friend is becoming annoying? Posted: 13 Jul 2015 11:12 AM PDT I've been friends with him online for over 2 years. We used to play this online game together and that's how we met but I quit a year ago. So now we talk to each other on Facebook. I don't mind having a conversation with him every once in a while but it's gotten to the point where he's sending me messages EVERY DAY. Its like I'm really starting to make an effort to answer but then he just keeps replying! I've used the " I've been busy " excuse more times then I can count. He's nice and a good guy (we've video chatted before) but he's just gotten to be really clingy and I don't know how much longer I should put up with it. Should I deal with it or break off all connections with him for good? |

Alex replies late, he sees the message and doesn't reply back for hours sometimes he does to bed without saying GN. Whenever I do it, he gets mad and calls me a follower. I said I'm not a follower I treat people how people treat me. I do reply late and whenever people do it to me, I don't care simply cause I do it too. He says that I have a habit and need to cut my **** out and continuously calls me a follower. I called him a hypocrite cause he do things to people, but when people do the same thing he gets mad. He says that I am not learning my lesson and needs to learn, I am not obedient, etc. He says just cause he do it doesn't mean I should do it. What would you do if you had a friend like this? |

| Question: Should I be friends with this person? Posted: 13 Jul 2015 10:36 AM PDT My friend lives 2 blocks from me, i have known her for 4 years but we are almost completley the oppisite. Up to this point we've put up with each other but im so annoyed with her. Her parents grounded her 4 a few days 3 days ago, I went to her house yesterday to see if she was still grounded when i knocked on the door her friend erin answered then my friend came to the door. I asked to come in cuz i thought she wasent grounded and she said she still was but her parents let erin over she then said she would comer over when she wakes up tommorrow i said ok and left. This morning she wasent over by 11:50, i went over and when she answered the door i asked why she didnt come over she said she forgot as we were talking erin came to the door i said how rude it was u "forget" to come over yet invite erin over she sad erin slept over and i said i thought you were grounded she just shrugged and i left. we have made plans and she leaves to go somewhere or dosent show up before so im at my last straw. When we make plans and i leave i always tell her. The reason i am still her friend is because she is one of the only friends that live by me and she also rides penny boards so do i and i like having a friend when i go penny boarding. If i stop being her friend the rest of the summer will be so boring but if i stay her fried she will keep doing this and i loose the rest of my pride. Well halfway through high school i got a job and slowly but surely me and that group of "popular" people grew distant from one another. By the time i graduated i barely talked to any of them. Now, 2 years out of high school, i always see posts on social media of them together. I think 'that used to be me' or 'i used to be their friend'. I feel kind of left out and i know i was the one who broke off all of those friendships. i was so focused on my boyfriend at the time (who was also popular) and i started to get very bad social anxiety that prevented me from doing anything or going anywhere. so i just gave up and kept to myself. Now, almost over that anxiety and in college, I don't have many friends anymore. i can probably count them on 1 hand. Sometimes i think i settled for the friends i have now. The friends i have now i never really talked to in high school. I feel like i don't belong with them, i feel like i still belong with the "popular" crowd. The question is, do i reach out and try to mend all of these relationships or should i just move on and make new friends in college ? i don't want to backtrack and feel like i need to be included. i don't want to be stuck in my high school days forever, but i'm torn. i belong with them, i always have, but i screwed it up. plus, that boyfriend and i ended on a bad note and don't talk anymore, so i'm really scared i'll run into him if i start hanging out with that crowd again. Since the party is so soon, i'd prefer ideas that could be found on Amazon so I can assure that it gets to my house on time. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
