Okay so here's my story. I have been to four different schools in my life, and my last school I went to, was my first year there. My family decided a year ago that I would stay there until 12th Grade (it's a K-12 school). But this summer, things changed. The family who used to live here moved to a different state, but now they're coming back and they want their house back. They said they would pay for our whole move if we move out. So, on a side note, my family has been wanting to move to California for 3 years (I live in Colorado). But, family problems came up, and it wasn't the right time. Okay, now back to the story. So, now we are moving to California on August 9th. So then I ended up losing a bunch of friends this summer. Two of them weren't (at all) a good impact on my life. Another hasn't talked to me all summer, my neighbor only cares about herself. And other things occurred. So at the beginning of Summer, I made up with my enemy at school. And now we are friends, I guess. So I'm just really lonely. And I don't know what friends I could make, and it wouldn't make sense to, if we are moving away in 3 weeks. So any ideas of what I could do to keep myself busy and not thinking about how lonely I am would help. Thanks :)

So this female friend of mines talk to me everyday and we've been friends for almost one year now. Recently, she met one of my good friends couple months ago. I started to notice that after they met, we don't "talk" that much anymore. Anyways, whenever I talk to her, she sends me these one word replies. These one word replies go something like this.. "o.O" "O.o" "o,o" This happens anytime I reply to one of her messages. I was wonder if I can get some advice whether I should reply back to this and should I be talking to my friend who sends me these one word messages frequently? What's funny is that I always help her and been there from her ups and downs. Helped her with a lot of things like loans with money, lend her stuff that I have, etc. Why do people treat me like this though?

Hello. I am from the Philippines and I just moved to Toronto this April. I'm currently in summer school and is going to be a hs freshman for this coming September. Is it just me or what but the teens speak English too fast for me to understand it. Sometimes I understand the whole sentence and other times I can only catch snippets which often results into me looking like a fool. I've explained my situation to my new friends and I'm worried I coming as rude and anti-social to others who doesn't know my situation. I'm a very talkative person but I don't know how things work here yet so I'm just getting used to it. And this is all so overwhelming. Students are very friendly here like sometimes they'd give out random compliments or just ask somebody's name. I'm so awkward I don't know how to deal with my new friends. I met him on a forum. He will be attending my college this coming semester and wanted to make friends. We started messaging on Skype and talked all night Sunday. This is where things got depressing. Monday- I messaged him "hello" and we talked until about 10. Tuesday- I messaged him and did not get a reply until 8 PM. He was at the beach all day. Wednesday- He was online on Skype but still never responded Thursday- He never responded. Today- He was online for a significant amount of time. I messaged him "You busy?" and "Everything alright?" I got no response.

So I recently graduated from high school, and I've begun to notice a small problem as the summer has gone on. Now I'm not the most social person at all, and I feel like most people that I've associated with in high school are "above" me or better than me in a sense, even those you are younger than me as well as my close friends, and I look up to them and respect them a lot. So the problem that I've been noticing is that I tend to be the one who always texts or calls or does anything first, and it makes me feel like they don't wanna be friends back. I mean when we are all in person we act completely normal and everything is fine, but it can be really hard to get to that stage sometimes. I mean I can understand why they wouldn't talk to me because I can get pretty creepy and invasive of personal things sometimes, but they still invite me to hang out or go do something. And I mean sometimes they don't invite me and it hurts me a little, but i know that i cant do everything with them all the time. So what do you think is going on and how can i fix it before we all leave for college and go our seperate ways? I dont want this to be the end of our "friendship"

today I reached my breaking point I don't know what to do. I want to die right now. I have no real friends I have horrible anxciety and everything bothers me my parents are getting divorced and my mom only cares about herself my life is so depressing. I don't know what to do please help me I'm 15

So this woman and I have been friend for almost 2 years. We met through a mutual friend. She works in a band. Anyway, we joke, laugh, and bounce one-liners off each other. When we talk, we talk on a personal level. And she's expressed seemingly genuine interest in me succeeding in life, both professionally and personally. And has given me great advice. I once had to confess to her that I have feelings for her, and we had a nice conversation, and agreed to be just friends. We playfully flirt and spank each other, and while I do still like her, I don't seriously expect it will go anywhere. So I just remain her friend. She did ask if I could mow her lawn for her, which she played me to do. But due to this crush I have on her, she seems apprehensive about us hanging out together, accept for when it's band related. And when I mention about wanting to do something nice for her birthday, she seems flattered, but also get the distinct impression that might not want me to be at her birthday party. She works in a doctor's office, and when I needed a medical exam, but had no money to pay for it, she arranged for the doctor to see me as a personal favor to her. I often times help her with the band equipment, as I do for all the band members. I do it for two reasons. 1, to be kind. 2, cause it gives me something to do. And I guess me saying that I want to do something nice for her birthday, makes it sound like I'm inviting myself. Now that is not the intended way I wish to come off, but rather I say that out of affection, cause I want to do something nice for her. I talked to her once about dating an older woman, to which she is not in favor of, saying that I need to find someone more my own age. In that way, we'll both be on more of an even playing field, and I'll thus have more in common. And I do see the sense in what she is saying. No doubt, she loves the attention I give her. And I totally understand that. If I had a girl who had a massive crush on me, the way I do her, I'd be flattered too. But at the same time, she is married. And I do not expect her to leave her husband, nor would I want her to. So yes, might can see where she is flattered, but because of knowing that I do have a crush on her, she might be apprehensive to hang out with me, in fear that she might be leading me on. Now mind you, this is my interpretation of her actions. What would you say?

Okay so im going to tell the whole story.. so like my friend one day we texted and kpt changing profile pictures to embarassing pics of eachother.. we both got annoyed and stopped.. then i had to go sleep afterwards.. days later we havent texted.. and btw we are really close basically realated. and then i realized that they blocked me n all social media apps and i was like what did i do? and i texted her im sorry if that whole profile picture thing got anoying to you so sorry. and i elaborated on that.anyways they said they wanted to be independent and leave ppl alone for a bit.. which rlly she ment 3 people. and so i understood and said okay its fine. and so then i thought like its more like cutting poeple of if ur just going to stop all of a sudden.but anywasy i went to a person that she also was ignoring and i talked to then about it and we just had a convo all about it.. later the people that as ignoring me said they couldent trustme anymore.. and i knew they saw that i was talking to someone else about her.. and i was like.. ummm ok? and they said and dont try bothering me about sorry or whatever i dont think we can be friends anymore.. and i said oh okay wasent planing on it. and they said good andok i know i was being alittle brat but that just got me mad.. and i know that i shouldent have tld and kept it between us.. but idk i was stupid but now we arent friends and my heart physically hurts right now and eerything sucks and idk.. any help?

It's always like that. When I send my friends messages on messenger they don't respond. I try to tell them about my issues but they dont care it all. I'm always the first to start the conversation. If I don't message them they won't even ask. It hurts you know because I have a lot to talk about but no one listens 😢

So I'm in middle school (going into 7th) and in 6th grade i made a group of friends. They ignored me and treated me badly. They even called me annoying. I was outgoing and all but they called me annoying even if I did nothing. Everyone else in my grade also called me annoying. I know. Everyone in middle school are d*cks. (Sorry I shouldn't have said that) anyway I'm thinking that in 7th grade I'll be a little outgoing and make a few friends the first few days but when everything settles down I could be the quiet kid? I didn't like 6th grade because I was pulled into drama and people called me annoying for having fun. And my grades fell. In 3rd grade she manipulated me into being her friend by threatning me and forcing me to sit with her on the bus everyday. She would lie about EVERYTHING from homework, to random stories. On the bus, she made a girl spray my conditioner into another girl's eyes. She of course lied to all of the principals and said it was me, and forced me to say I did it as well. At my birthday party, she ignored me the whole time and spent the time sorting out my belongings of most-least valuable, stealing the most valuable ones and lying to me later about it. In 4th grade, she pulled out her mom's REAL sword that was on display in her house, and threatened all of us to stay in a corner for the whole party. At that same party, she made us all watch porn. I felt really scared. She also thought super highly of herself all the time, always putting me down(I was her only friend and I was scared if I would leave her than she would make my life hell.) Does she sound like a psychopath? I was just looking back on these events and am so glad we went to different high schools.

Ok so I read a book and in it these two guys were making a movie (one guy was like a father figure to the film obsessed other guy named Dane) so upon making a sword fighting scene (for a contest were the winner gets 21,000 dollars) and Danes friend slipped off a bridge they were on (that was over a 30ft water fall) and dames friend held onto the ledge and Dane mounted the camera on his shoulder and went to help his buddy, he convinced his buddy to let go with the hand that help the ledge but instead of bullying him up he let go of him saying "it's for the movie" ans then he man fell to his death, Dane however was indifferent but it ended up he lost the contest to one guy and was stuck doing videography while the winner went on to make low budget films in Hollywood, leaving dand to become vindictive vowing one day he will get out of his boring videographer life and get back at the winner, so I'm wondering what one of the seven deadly sins would Dane be (be detailed and NO MEAN OR OFFINSIBE COMMENTS AS THEY WILL BE DETED!!!!!)

Hello, I have a problem and it gets annoying. It's one of the many problems I have. My parents want to know everyone I'm talking to. I do go online on sites like omegle and such but just for a talk. I have three best friends and I don't know what I would do without them. Problem is they are 16, 17, and 28. They're really nice people! I've known them for about a year, and if you were wondering they don't know each other. If my parents knew about them I would be scared shitless. I don't know what I would do. But I do know i'd lose them. To be honest they are the only real friends I have because I have social anxiety and am an introvert for the most part. Okay, so yesterday I was in a group chat with two of my best friends, and then they both started being mean to me. Like first they changed the group name to say that I'm not cool, and then they were sending pictures of me and making fun of them. I knew that they were joking, so I didn't care. I then blocked both of them as a joke. I finally unblocked them after about 14 hours. One of them is laughing about it, but the other one is mad at me for blocking her, she she's like "you should have known I was just joking around" and I was like "I know, I was joking, too," but she's still mad. I don't know what to do. I told her not to be mad and she's like "whatever it's fine," and then she just responded to my other message with "k." What should I do? What do I say? Should I just give it time, or what?

I've know this person for a year and in the past I would always be able to see that he has read the message. They usually always read the message and respond quickly unless they are asleep. Well a few days ago when I was text messaging this person we were texting back and forth. The first few text messages would indicate read then I would respond then the last few text messages he would respond to never indicated that they were read. So I think he turned off read receipt. Well I sent him a text message aka imessage like 3 days ago and it just shows delivered ,but no indication it was read. He's been on Instagram liking posts, he been on Facebook doing stuff etc Does that sound shady to you?

I have had 2 close girls that were friends to me that ended in disaster because they couldn't stop lying, just in the last year. 1 used to tell me that she was raped at least once a month, which I found out to be lies, the other was more serious, she said she was in college, had a job, she seemed so nice, then bam, I find out she has multiple sugar daddies, no college, no Job, nothing.

Okay so like I have this friend, and we are very close. Her parents even consider me like a daughter, and we have been best friends for 6 years. But for the past year or so, whenever she spends the night (which isn't very often, because she is always out with friend from her school) she doesn't want to do anything. I mean, all we pretty much do is watch family guy or some lame chick flicks. It's not that she doesn't like me, she still considers me family, but I don't know. How do I fix our friendship?

Ok so my friends name is Sadaf and I am friends with her about a year in high school, she always been nice to me, I mean at breaks and lunch we would hang out together and we had such a good days and laughing at the jokes. But not long ago I started to feel surt of pressure by her, she would always pull my bag from behind and will say " You could just waited for me" or when I sat on chair she would grab my hand and pull me to go somewhere because she wanted to. so..these three (let's call them g, f, and b) have been my best friends for like seven months. but i seem to always have fights with g. and then when that happens f and b are always on her side. so just recently, g accused me of talking bad about her behind her back. and f and b agree with her and now hate me too. i honestly don't know what i said behind her back..she won't tell me! and g said im the worst friend ever and she never wants to talk to me again. when i told her i didn't know what i said that was so bad behind her back, she said "wow that's so sad you don't even know what you said" i have been crying all day for the past week because they all keep attacking me and saying im being mean. they also accused me of buying likes and followers on instagram..what the heck! and when i said "omg no i don't" g replied with "geez im just asking a frikin question" im just so done with this and it's heart breaking because these are my best friends and they're all turning on me. i keep saying so many nice things to them to help get everything back to normal. g and i have fights but they always end. but idk if this one is going to end. i don't even know what to say or do to fix this. i freaking hate myself now. im spending summer inside laying down crying while they all hang out without me. she gets so mad easily. they hate my guts and i feel like we are never going to be best friends again. we all have so many memories and i can't just let those go. please help what should i do??

I am going to be a sophomore in the college this fall and I want to be less awkward. I find I have A LOT of awk pauses when I talk to people and I feel like no one is ever interested in me or enjoys being with me. I tried to ask my soon-to-be suitemate what to do because he is one of the few people I don't ever feel awkward with and it seems like he effortlessly talks to anyone about whatever he wants. But all he said is "Just gotta talk to people and not give a damn" -_- It can't be that simple...can it? He said if I'm thinking about how I want conversations to go they'll "go the other way". But that sounds illogical to me. I feel like there's probably a better way to improve my social skills. Can anyone help?

I am a guy college student that is always short of cash. The only job I could find to fit my hours with great pay was at a legal brothel. I maintain their computer system. A religious group on campus somehow found out about my job and sends a group of people to see me every week to tell me I am going to hell for working at a brothel. I have told them many times if they can find me a job that pays better I will quit working at the brothel. I don't want to see them again but they keep visiting me. My plan is the next time they visit me, I am going hand their leader a fake bill and tell the group that the brothel will turn his bill over to a collection agency if he does not pay his bill. Do you think that will stop their visits?

My best friend is leaving for college and I wanna send her a care package. She has a ton of dietary restrictions (no sugar, gluten, or dairy) so food is sort of out of the question. It's for a girl, she's 18. The package only has to travel across two states. The box is a large flat rate box.
