I have a son with him (get half brother). Me and her mom get along fine. Get mom has five girls total and is on welfare so she is spread thin and can t do a lot. My partner is dealing with a drug addiction that has spun out of control the pay two years. Both of her parents are just not able to do as much as for her right now. I am trying to deal with her dad and my son and figuring out what to do, but I also have her. I have a very good job but pay everything by myself so money gets tight. I take get and my son to the park, church, birthday parties, etc. I ve saved up enough to do a couple of other little things with them too, like the zoo. I get free passes and discounts through work. Because i do so much when i have her and am able to give her more attention because i only have my son, she borderline harasses me at her mom s. Calling several times a day, leaving voicemails crying and begging for me to pick her up, throwing tantrums when i take her back. I love her but it s very overwhelming. What can i do that s best for her and me? |

Like, they don't even let me walk to places unless I am with somebody because they think ill get kidnapped or hit by a car. they act like im not capable of crossing a road. Also, when it comes to friends, they act like they need to know every detail to make sure that they're not drug dealers or something. even if they did that stuff, im not gonna do it because personally im not into that stuff. overall, I feel like they cant trust me, and in 2 years im going off to college. how are they even going to trust me once I leave if they cant now. im capable of making smart choices, but they really do hold me back from living my life sometimes! |

My question is can I still respect a man that did that even before I met him. He is the type of man that says he does not have to respect anyone because he is an elder but everyone has to respect him. I notice the only reason his wife stays with him is because she is scaried to be along, which I can understand. I got into it with him the last time I met him saying he is wrong for the way he treats his family and I have no respect for him. Was I wrong to do that or was I right to stand up to that piece of sh?t. |

My dad always tells me not to let her was our "going out" clothes because when she washes them, they shrink, get faded, bleached, etc. My brother accidentally put those clothes in the hamper, but he took them out later. He had called my dad and my dad had told him to tell her "Don't bleach the clothes and let them air dry." This morning, I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and I heard my brother say to my grandmom "Dad said don't put bleach in the clothes and let them air dry please." She starts going off on him saying "That's disrespectful, don't belittle me, I'm older than your mama and your dad, I taught your dad how to wash clothes. The least you could do was be grateful and say thank you." My brother said she took it the wrong way, and she did. So I go to the kitchen and she asks me "Is your brother always like that?" and I said "like what?" And she said "Ungrateful" I said no, and I was feeling uncomfortable about the whole situation. So I told my mom and my dad and my dad called my grandmom. They got into it over the phone. My grandma said "you need to teach your kids respect" and things like that. My dad sent me a text saying to pack our stuff. Who's in the wrong? |

I have an uncle who's in his 70's. so for my brothers birthday, my birthday and Christmas we have family over at home and we cook like this buffet food (or a Christmas dinner). usually when my old aunt and uncle leave they just awkwardly wave. but out of the blue my uncle began kissing me. my mum noticed it too and that she saw I was uncomfortable and slightly disgusted due to my body language. but we simply brushed it off that he's an old man and doesn't really know better. but she said when they're leaving I can go upstairs to avoid it. but... it's got worse... yesterday it was my brothers Do but this time dad briefly said to my aunt and uncle that I don't want to hug and kiss them because its innapropiate (and because I shouldn't have to hide in my own home, but dad didn't say that). they seemed to understand. later on, I was standing up sorting out the TV. remember that everyone else was sitting and I was the only standing, in the centre of the room. my uncle had come back from the toilet. he 'bumped' into me. he said 'sorry darling' and put one hand on my shoulder and the other just above my bum. mum didn't see but my other, younger auntie luckily did. Lately I have been working out every single day for hours to get fit because they always use to tell me I have to get fitter.. did that and I still am.. I get really good grades at school..never failed in any lesson..try as much as I can to help them but they dont really need it they see it more of me getting in the way..Ive tried cooking (even tho im not that good at it) keep my room tidy.. dont go out much.. but whatever I do they NEVER say anything nice to me..they just complain about me. Then later today he saw me putting a piece of pizza in the toaster oven, and I ate a small breakfast 2 or 3 hours before, so I was hungry. He got mad at me and said that I should be having a little snack, so I just put my food away and went to my room, still hungry. He is always choosing to pick a fight with me and not anybody else. This happens all the time and makes me feel bad about myself because I am not the skinniest person in the world. What should I do? |

I am confused whether I should contact him or not. Part of me don't want to associate with him because of how him and his family treated my mother (will never forget those dark memories) but then part of me says that he is my dad and i should help him out and maybe it'll make his life better... I am very lost at the moment. Usually, there used to be a very close friend who would always advice me on stuff like this and he is the only one I really share stuff like this about.. but we don't talk anymore. He doesn't help her do her PT. An occupational therapist comes twice a week but that's it. Their house is so dirty because he doesn't clean. Cobwebs, hair all over the bathroom. She told me she felt "stinky" because he doesn't help her bathe. He is feeding her, but it's all frozen/canned food. I don't want to call social services, but what else can I do? |

She's stepped over me all my life and she never listens to anyone. And she talks back to my mom more than she needs to and yells at her a lot. She has been talked to many times about her behavior. I've been told that teens her age act like this all the time but compared to other teens, she is WAYYY worse. She's mad 24/7 and never wants to be with her family. My mom always tries to give her what she wants so that she can stop being mean but it never works. When I'm skyping or face timing my friends on my phone, they always hear her yell at me and are so surprised that I don't do anything about it when I try to do something about it, it never works. And I used to tell my mom about it all the time but I don't tell anymore because it starts fights with her and my mom and it makes my mom really sad. Posted: 27 Jul 2015 10:54 AM PDT sicne i was little, my brother would hit me, kick me, pinch, scratch, anything he could. it just got worse as he got older (he's 2 years younger than me) and when i was in 6th grade he pushed me down the stairs and i had to be on crutches for 2 weeks. when i started 7th grade my mom started to get abusive, to the point where my father had to pull her off of me. that lasted for about a year, and now is still every once in a while. she keeps up with the verbal abuse whether its calling me fat (Ive had an ed since i was ****ing 11), telling me I'm stupid, lazy, or whatever she can come up with. my dad and i have a good relationship, but if something happens he always says he wasn't there and that I need to stop fighting with my mom and brother. but the thing is that my brother never gets punishments for what he does. he's punched me in the face repeatedly with my mom standing right there. then i get yelled at for being in his way. the last year (8th grade) my teacher noticed bruises on my face and arms and i had to talk to her and the school social worker, then my mom got us a family therapist. well, she lied and said that she never laid a hand on me and my brother always get punishments when he does something. i started cutting when i was 12, decided my death would be intentional before that, and now I'm just numb. i feel nothing and every little thing sets me off and I'm crying. i just can't do this anymore and now that its mostly verbal, I'm at a loss for what to do |

Wild and Love sex in every corner or our house. She will get up at 2AM, 3 AM and sat on me and before I open my eyes, she was already riding the heck out of me and being me with overly high sex drive and ready 24/7, I didn't hesitate to reciprocate. She doesn't scream very loud but once i see tears dropping from her eyes while we are doing it, that's how I know she is REALLY enjoying it (she told me this)... Fastforward 3-4 years and 2 kids. our youngest is 9 months and still breast-feeding but since she was pregnant with him till today, I think we've had sex less than 6 times (that is about 18 months). So technically we have sex at most once every 3 months. I give her the benefit of doubt in the sense that breast-feeding will kill a woman's libido and also weigh gain could do some damage as well. I see beautiful girls everyday and the ones who would occasionally flirt with me and that puts me in a CHEATING mind-set... but I have been fighting it. It is a really huge battle for me knowing that I have a very high sex-drive. I have talked to her numerous times and she tells me to go and masturbate if I feel the urge for sex... I just want to be able to spend time with my friends before I leave college which is like 6 hours away :( my parents don't really tell me anything, but I still feel guilt about being out the house a lot. All I do at home is chores, TV, eat, and sleep. So am I ok or am I overdoing it?:/ |
| Question: My mom is mean when she's drunk? Posted: 27 Jul 2015 10:25 AM PDT She gets drunk almost every weekend and she always acts so childish when she's drunk. She yells at me and my dad and she blasts music until about 2 or 3 in the morning. I sit in my room and cry because of some of the mean things she says to me when she's like this. I have really bad social anxiety and I really don't have any friends because it's so hard for me to talk to people. And she always goes on about how embarrassing it is to have a child with no friends, and how I make her look like an idiot because I'm a loser. And sometimes my dad will stick up for me, but sometimes he'll join in and start making fun of me, and yelling at me with her. It's not so bad as it was when I was younger, but she still does this from time to time and it really bothers me. Sometimes after work she'll go out with her friends, and she comes home drunk and I can't stand it because I know I'm going to be yelled at all night. What should I do? And there's no talking to her. Whenever I try to confront her about something, she gets very defensive and just yells at me more. She's the type of person who thinks that she's always right. When she's sober, she's fine. The only time I have a problem with her is when she's drunk. |

Posted: 27 Jul 2015 10:18 AM PDT JJ always gets his way and since he trumps me in the physical department and he always gets his way in the vocal department by stubbornly insisting that things are this way, not that way I just can't stand the jerk. Just today he told me that I couldn't have something to eat because I would be "wasting it" because I had some for breakfast. I seriously ate the same thing for breakfast lunch and dinner two days in a row and he didn't even care because he didn't like that stuff. He is just really mean in that he WAY overuses things, like today, he put half a bottle of sauce into ramen noodles! For one person! Just how do I deal with him? I have to live with him until he goes to college this year. |

She has custody of me backside when I was a baby my mom was busy chasing some man and my father was out of the question being that he lives 15 hours away. So I have lived with my grandma since I was an infant and around the age of 7 I began to steal. I started at such a young age because I was influenced by my aunt who would steal money and ask me to steal money from my grandma got her. Me and my grandma used to have an amazing bond and amazing trust until one day she went to check her emergency money and it was short about $30. Ever since then she has not trusted me but I kept stealing from her over the years. Over this past year things have gotten worse than they have ever been. I lie, I cheat, and I steal. I even began stealing we credit cards and ordering things that I wanted. Even though I shouldn't because we are so low on funds and it is just wrong. I don't know why I steal from one of the only people I truly love and trusted. But she knows I steal and she hates it. She tells me everyday how much she dislikes me and wishes I would go live with my mom because her life would be better off without me. And she is right, but I can't go live with my mom because she can't support me financially being that she doesn't have a job and her boyfriend pays all the bills and stuff. But I know that is the life a deserve to live because after the great life my grandma gave me I basically put one million knives in her back. And I hate myself |

I (16) have 2 older sisters(27 and 24) and and 1 younger brother(6). It was quite hard at first but eventually we got through it, well, until recently something made it even harder. My mom just found out we have a 27 year old male relative, well, she wants to marry off her daughter to him but both my sisters are taken. I'm the only one available. I'm only 16, hell, I'm only a child. She keeps on saying that he is good but we just get a bad vibe from this guy. She asked a priest for blessings(me and him). I think her reason is because she doesn't know who will continue the family business once my sisters are married and this guy isn't really that rich and most prob will be willing to continue this business. However, as time passed by, it's like mom is the one who's falling in love with the guy. People around us says that he could be taking advantage of my mom. He borrowed one of our cars and doesn't even feel bad and whenever he's here, it's for free food. Mom even drove him around when she have never done that to her own kids. I know she is lonely but this is too much+she gets moody lately. It might seem minor but he is causing our family to break. I know it in my guts that his intentions are bad. I want to be able to choose my husband. Please tell me how to convince my mom to let him go and not to be blinded by him and there are other ways to solve this. I'm sorry if it's long... |

So my 19th birthday was yesterday and I was "volunteered" to help my moms friend move, you know how it is, he currently lives all the way across town about 35 minute drive. On the way home, I ask dad about my birthday gift. He said "I don't know your mom bought you something and it was supposed to be here yesterday. I told her that you weren't going to like it." Keep in mind that weeks before my dad and then mom both asked me a separate times what I want for my birthday and I tell both of them "I want a PSvita" Now my dad is OK with this but my mom is less than enthusiastic about it. Fast forward to my birthday and I ask her about it. To where she replied "I got you some clothes" I prayed to God that she was lying. But I checked our bank account and found a thing for east bay. I know this kinda ruins the idea of a surprise when asked what you want its kinda hard to do so honestly.This isn't the first time she pulled something like this either, one Christmas a couple of years back I wanted the exact same thing and my mom goes behind my dad's back and gets me something else. I put up with it that time because I kinda liked the gift and I didn't want to make a big deal about what my mom did to get this and potentially be the one to ruin Christmas for everyone, but I can't let this go this time. I feel betrayed by the fact she would even consider doing that and getting me clothes of all things! What should I do about this? | Question: I can't stand the way his child behaves.? Posted: 27 Jul 2015 09:11 AM PDT I have a boyfriend I live with. He has 2 little girls 6 and 3. I dearly love them I have know them since they were infants. But now the 6 year old has become unbearable. I asked her in the nicest way possible to help her younger sister pick up their toys, she said no no and crosses her arms. I try again and get the same answer. So I raise my voice and she does the same thing over and over again. Her mom taught me she responds well to 1,2,3 count but nope not with me. So I try that and nothing and she begins to scream at me so I spank her once. After that she listens but I dont like getting to that point. I need some help of how to reach without having to raise my voice or spanking I hate doing that. This is an everyday battle I tell her father but it just doesnt seem to help. This would be a reason for me leaving if things don't get better. He 3 year old behaves perfectly, no issues with her. Also when her father is at the house with us these issues don't happen as severly, so I think he thinks I am making this up. |

I was bullied at school and he acted like my unpopularity would rub off on him. He would never reciprocate a kind word or hug and only replied in insults and disgust. I thought if I kept loving and being nice to him that one day we would be friends. Now as an adult I see that's not going to happen.He treats me just as he always has even though our roles have somewhat reversed. I am more successful than he has but he still treats me with either veiled niceties or honestly he doesn't act like I exist. I suppose I should do the same, move on and not think of him as a part of my life. Recently I found out that he has been hanging out regularly with my best friend from high school and telling me that he doesn't have any time to get together. My mom has been so so so mean to me and basically ruined my whole vacation when I'm being really nice and positive to everyone. First, she asks to take a picture of her, and I take a nice picture, but she yells at me and slaps me in front of everyone because she looks ugly. She proceeds to call me an idiot, brainless, useless because of it, and it wasn't my fault she looked bad in the photo. Next, she forces me into a store which I didn't wanna be in, so I sit down next to my sister on a couch, minding my own business. My annoying sister runs up to my mom and starts crying and tells her I forced her off the couch, when I didn't even say a word to her! She yells at me in the middle of the store and my grandma comes over and pulls my hair and yells at me. Everyone is looking at me while they're calling me names and I'm just so annoyed! My brother told me he wasn t going to do it and I ended up doing it myself. My mom said I did it perfectly but she never said anything to my brother for not helping me. I have been cleaning the kitchen since I was 11. Today my mom asked me to clean the kitchen again with the help of my brother. I explained that yesterday I did it all by myself because my brother didn t want to do it. She said he s little (He s 12) and that he needs help cleaning the kitchen. The thing is, if I didn t know how to clean the kitchen at that age I would be in so much trouble. Well my dads girlfriend basically hides money which could of helped us in our times of need while we didn't have a house. My dad and the girlfriend agreed to helping out and she doesn't do her fair share and it really annoys me. Also my cousin was trying to turn off the captions then his girlfriend blabs out "OMG it's just the setting thing" she never used netflicts and had no idea what to do. I woke up and stepped in and turned off the captions. Also what happened was that my cousin said "then you can turn off the captions" she says "I'm talking to david at the moment (my dad)" it's been 3 minutes since she talked to my dad and she was watching tv. So basically she just lied about knowing what she was doing and yet again she's no help pretending she knows what she is doing and can't admit to being wrong. He had made like a collage of him and some random woman and there was a heart around them. My grandma and my mom never really had true mother-daughter relationship and I feel like I ve never really had one with my mom too. She calls me a b**** , ungrateful brat, piece of s***, and so on. She s called me so many things I can t remember them all. I tried telling her that she s made me cry when she tells me those words but she says "When you don t listen to me it s like your flipping me off and saying f*** you". Which I don t get cause I listen to her all the time. She started drinking a little more and had cigarettes again saying me and my younger siblings are causing her stress. She calls my younger siblings "little s***s" and I try to calm her down and talk to my younger siblings telling them "mommy doesn t mean it. She s just mad" and when I try to stand up for myself she just takes it as back talking and I usually get grounded for a week. I don t understand her anymore. So basically, (hes 8, I'm 14) He'll get into all my stuff, I bought a super expensive air conditioner for my room, (400$, and I'm 14 so that money meant alot) and he throws a baseball at it and cracks it. I had a nice mountain bike, I BOUGHT, and he goes out and drives it around runs into my moms car and cracks the running board, and makes the chain get messed up, so we got a new one and fixed it, and he broke it AGAIN. He was spinning around in my computer chair and kicked my dogs leg while he was spinning, and my dog is limping, and he tipped the chair over backwards and cracked my computer screen, and he keeps going on these random sights on my kindle, he opened my old laptop bag and was taking the chargers and cords out and stuff. He opened my old box of toys, and threw them all outside. HELP BEFORE I KILL MY FLIPPING COUSIN... |
