Question: Dear anyone working under child abuse; Welfare;? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 01:06 PM PDT Shes just a poor mother with a poor excuse for an apartment complex; there is a lot of help for children and parents around here and she refuses too move into some-thing bigger. I'd explain more but Yahoo doesn't allow me too. please Message me if you care too at Sammanthaprater@gmail.com for more information. and please help!>< this has gotten to the point of just disruptive behavior.Iv'e messaged my landlord constantly and nothing. She drinks in-front of them.she calls them names, insults them and today I heard"ducking complete phsyco." I know some of her kids stay with their dads over the weekend , and that is all fine and dandy- but when they are home they are up till six o clock in the morning, they were banging on my window with a pool noodle and I asked about five times nicely too get the little girl too stop. http://www.meadowbrookapartments.net/Floor_plan_images/901.JPG Our apartment looks similar to this floor plant |
Question: I want my dad out of my life? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 01:03 PM PDT My dad has huge anger problems and he takes them out on me and my mom. He's hit me many times before for no reason. Even as I'm writing this he threw a rock at my window. I can't stand him. How can I get him out of my life? |
Question: Why does my family make fun of me? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:59 PM PDT My family always make fun of me. Not just my parents, but my cousins, uncles and aunts and all those in between. It's not funny to me, they say hurtful things and they expect me to handle it without being mad/sad. When I stand up for myself my parents call me disrespectful and they say I'm a shame to the family because I humiliated them.. I always end up going to A private place to cry or something.. What should I do? And why do they make fun of me even if they know that it hurts me? |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:56 PM PDT I don't know how I feel about this... More confused and leaning towards being upset... However, the thought she came back to me... |
Question: Do I keep giving my Sister money or not pay my Mom? (Please Read)? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:51 PM PDT I was brought up with a lot of respect when I was a kid I learned my lesson about respect I'm 24 now and with a Family . Having a baby on the way due in February. Anyways my Mom goes out of her way and gets me things that I need she just bought me a rocker, a better sturdy kitchen table and a baby swing, but when I offer money for everything and for gas she refuses because I'm her Daughter and I don't ask for much even to go out to eat because I'm not a user. My Mom refuses a lot of the money so I have to give it to my Sister who's 14 to give it to her she couldn't refuse it then, but I feel bad I have to sneak it to my Sister, but I know my Mom is tight on money too what do I do and how do I get her to accept money I dislike feeling like a user or something like it. I wasn't raised that way and that's how I treat everyone I pay for what I want/need. I tend to not taking NO for answers lol |
Question: I received a gift from my father, who I no longer associate with? How to react? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:50 PM PDT So, my father has been a raging alcoholic his entire life and two years ago, I called the cops on him because he harmed my brother. Since then, we have hardly spoke even though we live in the same house. He is still a alcoholic, but now only drinks on the weekends quietly by himself instead of his previous rampages. Though we do not talk at all anymore, he gave me a $100 gift today via my mom giving it to me. I can definitely tell he is trying to pull a good gesture, but how do I react. $100 dollars does not make the problem go away, and I do not want to seem ungrateful. However, should I really reforge a relationship over $100, That would make me seem petty. I don't know... any advice? |
Question: What to get sister in law for her birthday? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:22 PM PDT So it's my sister in laws birthday soon and i don't know what to get her. I thought about a lunch box because she was using this bad one but i realized she had a lunch box in the basement. She and my brother are moving to their own home soon, so i want something that can and will benefit them in their new home, or something that will save her money. Glass tumblers are part of the gift, because I get them for free and it helps them save some money. So..any ideas? Something medium-sized and doesn't cost too much. Thanks :D |
Question: Should I leave home when I turn 18? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:18 PM PDT I turn 18 in 4 months and I can t stand living in this house anymore. The main reason is because of my mother, she used to treat me decently when I was really really young but then from when I was like twelve to now she s just always made me feel like **** about myself and constantly puts me down and it sucks because as much as a want her to be proud of me nothing seems to work, I have good grades in school I got a high SAT score so I can basically go to any college I like but none of this is good enough I make music I make clothes I have a lot of people backing me up on those things but her nothing I do pleases her. I have 3 other brothers all younger and they are all doing **** in school but guess what? She still treats them as if they re perfect little angles and they re doing amazing or something two are 8 and one is 15 I always did great in school and other things but she never really was proud of anything I did I ve won different awards and stuff but still nothing so I just want to go when o turn 18 in November I have a few friends willing to let me stay with them and yes I have a job so I m not just going to leech off them. So does anyone have any advice for me? the only person that has always had faith in me and really cared about things I ve done is my father, he does live with us but he works a lot and we never get to spend anytime together like we did when I was younger he used to take me to all kinds of cool places now all I see is my mom and her hatred to me. |
Question: My parents don't treat me fairly? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:12 PM PDT it may seem like I'm just whining but please read this. Im really mad right now so it might sound bad. I'm 14 years old. I have 3 older brothers that live with me. One is 16, one is 18 waiting for college, and one is 21, doing nothing but watching Netflix all the time. They all favor each other over me because they're guys. They always exclude me in every conversation, even with my mom, and they'll act like I don't exist. My mom expects me to clean up after myself, to vacuum weekly, etc, because I'm a girl. I'm younger than my 18 year old brother, and he barely knows how to cook, I know how to cook most of the food I eat. I've never seen him clean, or clean up after himself, so I don't know if he knows how to clean at all. My mom almost never asks them to clean up their dishes, unless I suggest it to her. She always expects ME to be independent. But my brother who's going to COLLEGE in two months is not very independent. My brothers ALWAYS have an excuse for not helping. My 18 year old brother has a ton of friends and is always going out. Every single day he spends hours with his friends, and sometimes he's gone the entire day. I always ask my mom "why doesn't he have to do anything" and she'll say "because he's not here" So I can just leave the house, and have all the fun I want in order to escape from doing basic chores? Question: Is it worth going to see inmate 30 minutes away? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 12:04 PM PDT I wrote him week ago he didn't write back his visitation is on Tuesday not sure what the hours are but I have no ride how long does letter get there |
Question: How to make a successful career? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:59 AM PDT Neither my mom or dad went to college, my mom joined the work force right out of high school and my dad dropped out of college and never graduated. My family has little money, but my parents provide the best they can for us. We may not have the most grand house and exotic vacations, but we do have what most middle class families have. Since they don't have the best jobs out there, it's not like they can pay for my college. And I have two other sisters. How do I make the most of little money and good colleges? I don't want to end up like them, living in our small town, the place nobody leaves. I'm determined to make a successful life for myself. Should I join the military? How do I pay for college? I want to be a foreign service officer or work for United Nations. Help me please. |
Question: Is this true why parents favor? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:51 AM PDT Do they favor a child over the other child because one is dependent on the parents and weak and the unflavored one is independent on the parents and doesn't need them, or do they just hate there children. |

Question: Is my mother being unreasonable? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:42 AM PDT I have been doing an online summer school course because my mother wanted me to improve my geometry grade that I got last semester. The problem is, this course has been seriously stressing me out. Even thinking about trying to do that much work makes me want to cry, especially since I have a learning disorder and possibly an attention disorder as well. If I drop the class I will fail it, but in my opinion that is a small price to pay to save my mental health, especially since I get straight A's in every other class that I do. She won't listen to me. I've told her how stressed and anxious I am about this but she keeps saying "you're just lazy" or "stop being a quitter". Is this unreasonable? Why isn't she listening to me? |
Question: Advice with moving out? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:25 AM PDT My girlfriend is currently down in my state from California. ~20 hours away. She's leaving in a week and I wish to go back with her. We are both 20. I wish to work in California till I can afford a place in Oklahoma and be on my own feet. Then go back. Her parents are supportive. I was in college, however the college I was in stopped offering the program I was interested in. I told my mother that I wish to go to California with her for a bit and she completely freaked out saying that nobody in my family would financially support me. I have yet to talk to my father yet, but I'm at an incredibly difficult decision. I know I want to go and it would make me happy. If things were to go bad and I had to come back to Oklahoma early, I have a friend I can go to and stay with and she can land me an easy job. Advice, please? |
Question: Should my parents be allowed to look and snoop at my texts messages in my phone? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:24 AM PDT My parents say that they should always check my phone so that they can see nothing is wrong but it is invading my privacy. They also asked me, who is more important t you? Your family, or your friends? Because family stay together lifetime unlike your friends. And I responded both my friends and family are important to me. My parents then got very angry because of my response. I'm very confused now. Someone please. Help. |
Question: I got into a physical fight with my dad? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:24 AM PDT Im 16 and a girl btw, and i weigh 130 pounds and my dad is 56 and hes like 280 pounds, anyways he gets angry at me cause he has the worst temper. I was watching sons of anarchy and my 2 yr old nephew just came in the room 3 minutes ago and he got pissed and turned the tv off because i was watching it in front of him. I get angry over that because it was stupid and then he slaps my head and stars whacking me and im on the couch doing this so i just kick him in the stomach and throw the remote at him and he keeps trying to hit me and he hits my head a lot of times but he cant get a good hit because im kicking him (mainly as self defense) and then he storms off because i was hurting him i guess. And he destroys my room. Im honestly just fed up, i didnt cry but when he starting saying mean things about me and calling me a biatch is when I did cry. I really hate him, like what kind of father hits their own daughter? Its not even the first time and everyone ignores it like its a laughable matter but i think this fighting has had long term effects on my emotional health, im seriously depressed and i cant do anything about it. Im probably just going to runaway, Id rather be homeless than live with him any longer. |
Question: I think my dad molested me when I was 2? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:24 AM PDT I don't know. Please don't think I'm stupid or lying because I'm serious. I have a familly of three brothers and 8 sisters. He's abused us in many ways: starving us. Hitting. Psychological abuse. Pretty much sums it up. So I have a photographic memory and can remember bits and pieces of when I was 2. My earliest memory is I was sleeping in a crib. I had a nightmare about a shadow and I woke up crying just as my dad walked in. I couldn't sit up and my dad started yelling at me. My other memory is I was walking outside and someone got me in the bathroom. It's very fuzzy but I remember seeing a naked guy and he got up all in my face. I think I remember laughing and then he had me watch him pee. I'm not sure if this memory is real but no one ever heard of it so I couldn't have heard about it and made it up. It could have been my brother showing me how to pee but he would have been too young. Also, when I was little I would rub my genitals (I know tmi) on stuff and I knew what a penis (sry) looked like. I Best answer to the person who answers all these questions with the most information. 1) do you think I was molested before I could remember very much? 2) do you think it was my dad? 3)are these memories real? 4) if it was my dad how should I tell my mom? We're going to court for a divorce and she says to always tell her new memories. (these memories aren't new I've always had these.) how should I tell her? She already feels like a failure to protect us. Thanks! |
Question: My parents say I don't deserve to live because I'm gay.? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:21 AM PDT I come out to my parents to tell them the truth, that I'm gay. They tell me to go to my room and stay there until I die, that I'm possessed by a demon and that I'll burn in hell. They've always hated me for not being like they are anyway. This was a long time ago, but I want to know how I could have handled it. What I did in response is just live my life. But I was sad all the time. I was lonely. My parents only let me have an education because the law said they had to. I was depressed until the day I got my own home. I never talk to them anymore. |
Question: Why don't my parents let me go anywhere? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:21 AM PDT Hi I'm 15 and I think I'm a good child. I always do my chores. I wash my parents clothes. I'm basically the only one that washes clothes in the family so that my mom doesn't have to. I always clean my parents room and also my room. I never disrespect my parents. We get along very well and laugh a lot. But the problem is that their strict about me going to places by myself or with other people. Recently my uncle came to take my cousins to Florida (He's my cousins grandpa). So he asked my parents if I could go with them but my parents said no. My cousins have a mean mother and they disrespect her a lot and sometimes they don't do what she tells them to do. But she still lets them go to Florida. So why don't my parents let me go to places if I do good things for them. I think I deserve to be let free for at least a while you know? |
Question: My parents are not okay with me moving out? What would you do in my shoes? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:16 AM PDT I am 18 years old & I'm going to college. I have s great job to where I am moving, I am getting payed enough to be able to afford my living expenses (I calculated everything) but my parents aren't okay with letting me move out. They want me to get a one bedroom with them & pay half of the rent. I won't even have my own privacy, bathroom, and won't even be able to invite my friends to study or hang out. I think it will be an embarrassing situation. If I can pay the same and have my own privacy.. I rather just move out. I even got my own place and am very close to signing the lease but my mom gave me a huge guilt trip by crying and stuff. I don't even get along with her well. & as much as I want to help their money situation.. I want to help myself first. It's my dad's responsibility to pay half the rent, not me. But he doesn't even work. What would you do in my shoes ? Thank you !!! |
Question: HOW TO GET RID OF BEES NESTING INFRONT OF MY DOOR? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 11:02 AM PDT I have noticed these past few days that bees have been coming in and out of the same place (infront of my door) I live in a TownHouse and haven't noticed any bees near my door. I know that they are creating a nest because their is atleast 5 bees . I have no idea what to do because my family is taking this situation lightly and not listening to my concerns. I feel like I'm the only person living in this house because I am the only one that cares. My dad is currently not in town, my mom thinks i'm paranoid and my brother thinks its a joke! What should I do? I don't have the support of my family members.. I wanted to call the Housing Community, but I am not sure if they deal with that kind of stuff. I'm scared to step a foot outside of my house because I'm scared they will either come in or go after me. PLEASE HELP. - Aj |

Question: I had sex with the dad I babysit for, what should I do? I am 18 and he is 32? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 10:41 AM PDT I started nannying for the family a couple years ago and am practically around them all of the time. I have gotten very close to the mom, kids, and the dad. They give me alcohol and we stay up late after they get home from being out. One night the mom went to bed and me and the dad started making out and then one thing led to another and we had sex. He told me he was in love with me. He s such a nice guy and I would never expect him to be disloyal to his wife like this. The wife always trusts him around me alone. We have had sexual impulses to each other for a while now though. I can t leave the family because the wife and kids wouldn t know why and I can t tell them and I also love the dad as a person and I make good money with them. |
Question: Is it bad to hate my stepdad and autistic brother? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 10:41 AM PDT I don't have a bad life. I have food on my plate and a roof over my head but I'm the oldest child and my stepdad and brother drive me mad. My real dad was abusive and an alcoholic. When my mom and I got away from him she started dating again. When she met my stepdad I didn't like him and cried when I found out my mom was with him and it was serious. I was only six years old and I know I was being selfish. My mom convinced me we would have a better life with him and we did move into a nicer house and I was so excited to have a brother and I played with him until he got older. He's five now and it's confirmed he has autism. I know he doesn't understand but he touches me in weird places, he hits me, throws my food, and he screams all day. I can't have friends over and my parents don't even let me do anything anyways. I get good grades, do my chores, and take care of my brother when they go to work. Don't even get me started on my stepdad. He's the most racist, transphobic, close minded person I've ever met in my life. I argue with him a lot because he doesn't believe in equality. And now my mom changed because of him. Everything he believes, she believes. And she was never like this before. Both my parents constantly bully me. I ve gathered that they hate the color black, Led Zeppelin, and Buddhism. I'm a normal kid and I dress like any other teenager yet they think every other girl my age goes to school in high heels and pink dresses. I HATE girly stuff. What can I do? |
Question: Is my mom cheating on my dad? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 10:29 AM PDT I don't want to jump to conclusions but she's been extremely shady lately. My parents never really had an amazing relationship, they fight non-stop and get upset with each other frequently. My mom always seems to be texting guys who keeps complimenting her. She usually doesn't respond but they keep texting here saying, "Hi beautiful, Whats up gorgeous." etc. And she has messages between her and a few guys that don't seem totally appropriate. Recently she said she's going to a friends house after work and it was so weird and shady, she didn't say which friend or who and I'm pretty positive she was meeting a guy. And to top it all off, today she was Facetiming someone on the porch. I didn't see who but she said, "I love you," and when I asked her who it was, she said a friend. I thought it would've been my older brother (he doesn't live with us because he's in his 20s) but she said a friend, she would've said my brother if it was him. And on top of everything, this wouldn't be the first time she cheated. She cheated on her first husband with my dad. And I really hope that history is not repeating itself. Please someone tell me wether she is cheating or not and how I confront her about it?! |

Question: Do you believe I invite my father to my wedding? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 10:20 AM PDT I want you guys" opinions. Well my mom and dad divorced when I was 6, and I have had a wonderful man step in and he has raised me and my brothers for 15 years as well as adopted us. I've always wanted a relationship with my father but every time I reach out to contact him he does not respond, he doesn't try to see me, call me or anything. I know I want my stepfather to walk me down the aisle, and i really want to invite my dad because- well he's my dad. But I don't want my dad to get sad because he's not walking me down the aisle and I'm his only daughter. Tell me what you would do, or how you would handle this if you were in my shoes. |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 10:12 AM PDT From the time I as young, we were struggling, financially. Any money that came in the house went towards something for the house, be it food, bills, etc. Birthday money, graduation money, everything. Now, my second year in college (in state, but far enough that I feel like I'm away), and I have no money. I have literally worked the entire summer from the day I got back home until the last day I can. I was able to snag an intern position at a great company and my salary is a lot more than McDonalds. I worked there in high school and it was hell. Every pay check has went to them. My auntie has literally been my second mother in that she has really taken care of me for a while. She has even helped out the family as a whole, giving thousands of money over the years. Now, she is retiring next year and she has bluntly stated she can't do nearly as much for me as she used to. She has even been the one to take out student loans as my parent's is awful and mine is pretty nonexistent. She's upset at me because she feels I'm not standing up for myself. I'm so nervous that when I go to college, I'll be broke and won't have enough to at least get started. I'm starting to hate them and I don't want to. I love them, but I just feel like they don't care about my needs. I'm not sure what I'm asking, but I just want to stop feeling this way about my parents. |

Posted: 18 Jul 2015 10:01 AM PDT 2 days ago, my mom and I went to see the Minions movie, and my mom asked me if I wanted anything, and I asked for a popcorn, sour patch kids, and a Dr. Pepper. She said she would stay behind to get it and that I could go to the movie. So I went to the movie, and I waited. But then, when my mom came, she got me a kid's snack pack! I was like WTF?!? She KNOWS how much I HATE being treated like a child, because it makes me FEEL like a child, which I don't want to. But then she was just like, "Here you go. Popcorn, Dr. Pepper, and Sour patch kids." And they were all in kiddie portions.then she just told me that she was trying to save money, but I said,"Still, I HATE getting the kiddie stuff. Like, WTF." After that, we just stopped talking to each other, and watch the move. But I TRIED to watch the movie. I TRIED. But I couldn't. I couldn't enjoy the movie. I couldn't laugh at the humour. I couldn't receive any emotion out of it. I couldn't. I was offended that my mom would go behind my back and get me something childish. All I could do then was try to endure eating the snack pack I got. I didn't know what to do about this until now. Sorry art, but you weren't a help. No 10 points best answer for you. Also, I have you blocked. |
Question: How should I deal with this situation? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:57 AM PDT I am a 14 year old and my grandmother is ill. I flew out, 1,000 miles to California to help my grandfather take care of her until he finds a caregiver for her. He is paying me $100 a week and I am staying at their house for 6 weeks, all of my immediate family stayed home. before I left my mom told me to spend the money on back to school shopping because it would help a lot because she is currently having to take a month of work off due to major surgery she is receiving. My grandfather is nice but he feels like he knows what everyone needs to do. He has always saved his money, and now he is instructing me to save my money, I am on my third week. and I only have $152, I have spent $148 on clothes for school. yet he is still telling me to save my money, I normally spend $300 on my clothes at the begging of the school year, but I usually never have enough, and end up buying more around October (school starts in August) how should I talk to him? sorry for this long question, just wanted everyone to know the details. |
Question: How can I excel in school, in spite of a bad family/home life? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:55 AM PDT Forgot to add details.. I know that I'm capable of excelling academically, because I used to. But my life has changed for the worse. Constant yelling in the house is distracting and takes my time for studies away, my family is always fighting and I'm even dragged into it at times and unable to get out of it, and I always have to make sure that my schoolwork is taken care of, so I'll have to go to sleep late and wake up early to finish my work. |
Question: My younger cousin is mean to me..? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:38 AM PDT I have two younger cousins, one is 7 and one is 6. Whenever I dont play with the 7 year old he always cries and whines, so I always have to play mario with him, even when I dont want to. And the 6 year old called me a lazy butthole because I asked her to do something for her. I'm super nice to all of them but I cant understand why their mean to me. The 6 year old was complaining because I had snapchat and she couldn't and she said it was no fair. And the 7 year old always steals my toys, and hogs my computer. The 6 year old didn't let me sit in the front because she said it was not fair and it was her car. I told her "When I was 6, I didn't get to sit in the front either, but when your older you could!" Then she said "Well you cant sit in it because it's MY car." It wasn't. It was her mom's car. And when both of them are here its a disaster. I stepped on a bug and the 7 year old got mad at me. What annoys me about the 6 year old, is that shes a complete copy cat! I liked the color mint green, now she likes it! I liked the song teenagers by mcr now she likes it! She likes whatever I likes and its driving me insane! Please help! |
Question: My adult son is a sneaky passive aggressive.? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:31 AM PDT My husband and I broke off contact with our adult son over differences of opinion over how he was spending his money. (We live in California and he lives in Wisconsin). He then decided to conclude after that that we did not love him and he left us several nasty emails and phone messages. Now, 15 years later, he has become a self taught photographer. We heard about this because he posts pictures on facebook for mutual friends and relatives to see. it finally occurred to me that the reason he is posting all of his photography and having contact with all these mutual friends and relatives is too make us look and/or feel bad for breaking off contact with him. I would like to know why he feels the need to show off to our mutual friends and relatives. We would just like to forget about him and move on. We had to threaten him with police action to get him to stop leaving us nasty messages. Now he is using facebook as a legal medium to harass us in a sneaky way. He is very passive aggressive. How do we let him know that we do not appreciate what he is doing? |
Question: My father kicked my puppy? + domestic incident? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:31 AM PDT Last night I came downstairs to collect some makeup I had left downstairs and I heard my dad yelling at my pup about how he stole his food. As I was walking towards the kitchen I seen him literally kick my dog as hard as he could. I got a rage of anger in me and I ran and pushed him so he couldn't do it again. My father proceeded to get in my face literally his body was touching mine and yelling at me so I got annoyed and scared since I'm only 5'3 and he's almost 6'.. so I slapped him hard enough to get him to stop but not hard enough to really do any real hurting. He proceeded to back me up to almost the wall and he kept screaming at me and my mother came in and started beating my left arm so hard it left visible marks for hours. She proceeded to chase me upstairs and called me disgusting. My father is bipolar and isn't taking any medication and it's starting to really scare me because it's not the first he's kicked my dog. I'm afraid this could do damage on my pup because he's still growing and I don't want him to become aggressive or break/have internal damage due to such an angry man. I've grown up with traumatic experiences because this man and his family. They're threatening to hospitalize me and get me "help". I don't believe I am in the wrong here. I currently go to therapy and I feel like I cannot express my emotions because if I tell them what happened I'll be taken out of my house and won't be able to keep my dog. I'll be 17 year's old..I really need some advice |

Question: What to do about my parents? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:15 AM PDT My mom got married last year and I didn't like it at first. Because it was always just me and my mom and I wanted it to stay like that. My stepdad dad and i are always fighting. Sometimes I just bug him in purpose so he will get mad. But then like last night when that happened my parents got in a big fight because of me. I don't mean to but he just annoys me and makes me so mad |
Question: (URGENT) HELP PLEASE... My mom is mad at me...? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:12 AM PDT So basically I have an Asian family and my mom is that stereotype asian mom. The "i always win" and "my way or the highway " kinda mom. And basically I ONLY HAVE ONE DAY LEFT TO SOLVE THIS. Basically the day after tomorrow, my dad and mom and i planned a trip to the beach (5 day vacation) and my dad knew that my mom gates people arguing or getting her wrong so he told me never to argue with her or she gets extremely hot tempered. So i kept it up until like... 10 mins ago, she told that my room is dusty and i told her i just vacuumed it and she says its dusty (still), so i got pissed off and went sarcastic and said "yeah its VERY dusty". And shes so angry and she ignored me now and SHE SAID SHES NOT GOING ON THE TRIP WITH US NOW. I said sorry and told her i love her but she said "dont say sorry your sorry is always worth nothing i know you dont love me you love your dad more"... its like wtf my mom makes these assumptions and THEY HURT AND STAB MY FEELINGS. SHE WONT FORGIVE ME NOW.... I am not just sad, i am depressed now because i only have tomorrow to solve this. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP (PRETTY PLEASE) btw, i told her i really want her to come with us and she still rejected it ** i need an effective-on-(stereotype)asian-moms method --> im sorry i did some caps lock and used "wtf" but i am stressed and need venting out --> i live in thailand, so i have to go to bed now so i really have tomorrow to solve and also my dad doesnt sleep with my mom (for sad reasons) |
Question: My brother is selfish and thinks the world owes him something? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:05 AM PDT My brother thinks that the world owes him something. It's as if he is always right and everyone else is wrong. I am 19 and he is 23. Every time I have talked to him about it, he yells, gets emotional, then says he tries to be nice, but never is! It's getting a little out of hand, like fist-fighting out of hand. My mom and dad and stepmom have each tried to help him, he refuses that help. Supposedly my other brother and sisters aren't good to him either. Everything that we have ever done nice for him is irrelevant and he is the only one who is picked on in the family, even though I share that same family tradition (someone is always picked on in the family). He makes it seem as if the world/our family hates him, and says he has had to live by his own rules to get by. But I don't think that me, plus our entire family are in the wrong and he is in the right. He doesn't even do anything either! He is lazy and never cleans up. As an example, he killed a cockroach three days ago. THREE DAYS ago. He failed to sweep it up. He threw a water bottle onto the ground. I waited for a week. He has again failed to throw it away for a week! Hell, he doesn't even throw band aid wrappers away. Then he accuses me of not cleaning either, most likely after his ****! Of course since I am 19, I will be moving out in the near future (we both live with our parents, I am living with them to go to college. He doesn't do anything). I've reached a point where I can't help him,. What can I do? |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 09:02 AM PDT My mom doesn't see a problem and says thats how it has to be. But I don't like getting dressed or watching my sister naked either but we don't got a choice. We have a kitchen and small nook, a bathroom and my parents bedroom and ours. We've lived like this since like before i started school. |
Posted: 18 Jul 2015 08:57 AM PDT My sis is 10 and a brat and spoiled. So she deserves being punished. I used the money to buy stuff i needed like a trac phone and laptop cuz mum wouldn't buy me any. I told her I got a job. I don't got a license yet but i plan on getting one next month and get a job. I figured I'd make money and hide it somewhere in my sisters room and so then my mum would forgive her. But now mum hates my sister and I just smile. I think its a good plan do you |

Question: Will my buddies get the wrong idea here? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 08:14 AM PDT I am a high school senior guy with a 13 year old sister Lisa that I really like. My high school buddies like to hang out at my house. Lisa has a lot of homework and she often ask my buddies to help her with her homework. They are happy to help as they enjoy helping her. Since they have started helping her, her grades are much better. Lisa is a very affectionate person so after her homework is finished she thanks the guys for their help, hugs them and gives them a kiss. THEY LOVE IT. It is not a romantic thing with her. It is just her way of saying thank you. My buddies just like being kissed by a beautiful girl. I am afraid my buddies will get the wrong idea of Lisa's intentions. Do you think they will? |
Question: My grandma is irritating? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 08:07 AM PDT My grandma is always yelling and it's so annoying always nagging for everything I can't stand it should I just tune her out |
Question: I'm at my aunts house and I just got my peorid HELP!!!!!!? Question: What do I do about my sister? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 08:01 AM PDT love my sister. She s a wonderful person and she has a lot of strengths. But lately our relationship has been kind of strange. Ever since we were kids, we got along great aside from the occasional fight. Most of our disagreements stemmed from rivalry and competition. Now, she s 17 and I m 14, and I find myself more and more annoyed with her. Some of my anger towards her is definitely attributed to the fact that my father blatantly favors her and always takes her side in arguments. A lot of my anger also comes from jealousy of the close relationship she has with my other older sister (21 years old). I do a lot for her. I never hesitate to help her with chores and I always grant her any favor she asks of me, hoping that she ll appreciate me and see me as more of an ally, and I have hardly ever asked for anything in return, yet she still doesn't treat me as her equal. She also makes hurtful comments about my appearance and interests. I am very interested in theatre and I have talked about going to college for theatre. Everytime I say something about wanting to be on Broadway, she shoots me down in a very hurtful way, saying I'll never make it and I'll end up broke and a failure. She's really damaged my self esteem, isn't supportive of my goals, and generally doesn't seem to like me despite my efforts, but I don't know how to approach the problem. My dad defends her any time I bring it up, and my mom agrees with me but refuses to help me do anything about it. What do I do?? |
Question: Am I spoiled (read details)? Question: Can I be forced to go to my mum's? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 07:49 AM PDT I've lived with my dad for several years now. Every other weekend I have to take my sister and I to my mum's house, by train, which we both hate doing. We also hate it at my mum's house, for many reasons, and in some ways it's extremely complicated. I'm 16 and starting college, I want a job, I want to be able to see my friends, and have a little more freedom. But I can't have a Saturday job if I have to go to my mum's every other weekend. I can't see my friends when I'm with my mum (She lives very far away). I don't want to have to go there anymore, I really don't like it there, and it means that I have to put my life on hold every other weekend. I've tried speaking to my parents but my mum gets angry with me; my dad says he wants me to go to my mum's every other weekend, so he can have a weekend with just my step mum. I can't just refuse to go, because my dad will make me, and seeing as my mum won't come and pick us up, my sister will have no way of getting to my mum. My parents say that I have to keep going to my mum's until I'm 18. What should I do, I can't keep going? |
Question: How to stop this insanity? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 07:47 AM PDT I'm 16 and my 40 year old sister is just her with me and my mother sitting in the same spot day and night. She has no desire to get a job and has failed her two children which made my mother cry once. Our mother has helped her constantly to get a job and place and my sister always has blew it. She once even had government assistance but she gave that up just so she can live with someone else and not have to pay rent. She has lived so many places, back and forth all the time. My mom took her back in this time because she made mom feel guilty because she was on the street when she was supposed to be at a shelter. Mother told her not to come back to our home unless she went to the shelter and got her own home but she just came to our home dirty and skinny. I feel like she has taken advantage of our mom enough. What can be done? |
Question: 6 year old brother overweight, parents are enablers? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 07:42 AM PDT My brother weighs 90 pounds and is supposed to be about fifty pounds. He wheezes while eating. He can go through boxes of corndogs & cereal in 1 day, on top of other food. When he tries to get extra food & is stopped, he will cry, throw a tantrum, and physically attack me. Putting food high up doesn t work,he just climbs the cabinets or pulls a chair to get to them. My parents arent of any help. They continue to buy junk food and let him eat whatever. One day when I was cooking breakfast, my brother came to me for a plate. He had already ate a large bowl of lucky charms so I told him no. My mom, angrily and out of spite to me I guess, fixed him a large plate and snapped to me that she knows how to raise her kids. Hes already getting bullied in first grade and thankfully it doesnt really affect him now,but I know as he and classmates get older itll get worse. What can I do? |
Question: Need advice from mothers: should I be ashamed that my mother caught me masturbating? Posted: 18 Jul 2015 07:35 AM PDT I am 13 years old, and not realizing my mom was home, I was masturbating with my bedroom door open. She was at the laundromat, so I thought I had time to myself. But just as I was about to c*m, she came in with my laundry. I couldn't stop, but she just smiled and said "beat it like it owes you money" and walked out and closed my door. I have two sisters who are 10 and 8, and our dad left us, so i'm the only guy in the house. my sisters have caught me before, and now im afraid about whether or not they told on me even though my mom didn't seem mad when she caught me. do u think she even knows i masturbate? How are moms about their sons masturbating? I'm kind of afraid to look at my mom ever again, even though she was enouragiing me. |
