Both are girls. So when we first started out, she took like a day to respond. I, ALWAYS respond withint 1-3 days, so I'm not really the problem. Then the email lengths got longer and longer, and it started taking her longer and longer to respond, which is reasonable I guess. It became a week, a few weeks, then up to a month. However, last month, it was the worst. SHe didn't respond for more than a month so I just assumed that she didn't want to talk anymore, which is perfectly fine. But then a week ago, she just emailed saying she was busy doing nothing and reading some books, and would respond a full response (our letters are long ll) by Wednesday. It's Saturday, and she still hasn't responded. I think it's a bit rude to say you'd do something, and then not do it. It would suck, because besides that our friendship is amazing :) BTW idk if the age thing maybe makes her feel more superior o something. :/ I mean, we both are on the same intelligence lever, so I don't knkow what she's thinking. AM I just being a drama queen? Or is she trying to play some time of game? Plus, she's NEVER said sorry for taking so long, while I respond basically right away. She's busy a lot, so I kinda understand, but I'm the one taking college classes over the summer ,while she's reading. I can't tell. I confronted her about it twice- however, she improved for a day, and then went back to normal both times. I don't know what to do now. We're not going to have any classes together for sure. One day he said hi to me in the hallway and I was awk since I wasn't used to talking to him in person so I just took a nice green pencil from his pencil case and somehow that brought us closer. He would tickle me in the bus and one day when I tried stopping him from tickling me, we ended up holding hands. I enjoyed it to be honest. My heart beated faster and my stomach got butterflies every time I saw him. 1st semester was coming to an end and he slowly drifted away. I tried to keep talking to him but he was just like eh. 2nd semester came and we cut all ties. My heart was hurting and missed him a lot. I then realized I liked him. I wasn't supposed to, but I did. I would glance at him in the hallways. He would rarely say hi to me and I would be all nervous & panicky & shy cuz I liked him and I didn't know how to react to him anymore (still dont) 2nd semester ended and now it's summer. Halfway through summer, I was sitting at the bowling alley parking lot using my phone and suddenly I heard his sister yell my name. I turned around and I saw him. I felt mad,sad,happy,confused, I was going to explode cuz I was starting to forget these feelings but then everything came back hard. I could barely say hi to his sister. I call him back, and he gets upset with me about not answering that it escalates to him hanging up on me out of frustration. The building I am in does not get good reception, so his voice kept cutting off, I tried explaining this to him and he just hangs up on me. I tried sending him a text explaining what happened, no reply, so what can I do? I'm the type of person that hates it when others are mad at me, I hate making people upset. Recently I was away at camp for a week and I wasn't able to be with her for that time. I just got back to find out she's been getting bullied while I was gone (people adding her to a group chat and dissing her, making fun of her online) . This is bullying because it happened a lot earlier in the year and just started up again. They were writing on her social media saying that I was a bad boyfriend because I wasn't standing up for her (but I was really away at camp). When I got back to see all this in the heat of the moment, I posted a rather.. colourful message on her social media telling everyone that they were cowards and would have to go through me now. Then I started getting messages from random guys trying to fight me. I don't know if I can get in trouble for what I said but honestly I feel like I did the right thing. But I still feel terrible about the whole thing, like doing what's right makes everyone hate me. I'd really appreciate any advice |

Posted: 11 Jul 2015 03:07 PM PDT So I just started my full time job after graduation a few weeks back and I met co-worker who also started work the same time and is the same age and we clicked pretty instantly. Our positions are different in that her job requires no travel whereas I have on and off travel constantly so it's fairly hectic. So after 3 weeks on a project at another office it was my first week back at my "home" office where I actually work and she's been acting a little weird towards me like almost as if she feels sorry for me/pities me. I'll give you guys some examples. I had some sniffles in the morning and she came over and asked what's wrong and then I told her I just have mad allergies and she did this puppy look/sad face as if it were out of pity. On a few occasions she even blatantly said the word "aww" when she saw me lol. One final incident is that she bought me a donut/breakfast and she put it on my desk before came in the office. These things have been really bothering me because I want to maintain professionally friendly with her but I don't want her to treat me with straight up pity or feel sorry for me all the time. Based on these incidents you guys think she's just really a compassionate person or does she feel sorry for me/pity me? |

She gets onto me for the way I dress telling me to get different shorts or buy different brands all the time. She tells me that I need to make new friends since she moved me 45 minutes away from my best friend. I'm 19 too so I'm not in high school anymore and making friends is harder sorta. I had a ton of friends in college, but I'm home for the summer and all my friends live far away from me. She's always yelling at me for messing things up and I don't mean to. It's not that I get bullied a lot, people just tend to ignore me because I'm quiet, which I could change going to a new school. I have hardly any real friends, just a lot of acquaintances and the friends I do have all moved away or are taking band so I don't get to see them that often. Hardly anyone tried to get in contact with me all summer so I don't even know if I could call them friends. There's nothing really left for me at this school. I just can't go another 4 years hating myself and being sad all the time. I have so many bad past experiences at this school that it's hard for me to even walk in the door. And I know I shouldn't let past experiences catch up with me but they do. I just want a clean slate, and a fresh start. My current school is really ghetto too, which is opposite my personality. There is this really nice school but it's like 10 minutes away from where I live, and my mom can't really afford the gas to drive me back and forth everyday. Also, in movies whenever a girl starts at a new school she seems to get bullied, is this true in real life? Would I just get bullied going to a new school, or is it worth a shot since I hate my life anyway. And since I'm going into the first year of high school, will a lot of people be transfers anyway? So after Rianne left me and my mum wanted to go to a friends so I went to get ready and I noticed that these items where gone . Three t shirts (American eagle , juicy couture and Ralph lauren) . Ralph Lauren jeans . Garnier,max factor and maybe line makeup . Prada charm bracelet I know she took them because next day was school and she wore a Ralph Lauren shirt just like mine so when we had gym I asked the teacher if I could go to the toilet but instead I went to the changing rooms picked up her shirt and because I write my name on everything I checked the tag and guess what. It had my name on it. So I took it. ( she ended up wearing her gym top.) Then on Facebook I saw her wearing my other two tops so when she asked me for a sleepover I said yes and when she was in the shower I looked through her closet and found the two tops and put them in my bag. Then thinking she had my bracelet I looked in her jewellery box and I found it buried under her other junk. I couldn't look for my makeup because she went out of the shower. Wanting to get my makeup back (lipstick,mascara and powder) when we had gym two days later I asked to go to the toilet again but again I went to the changing rooms and looked through her bag and found all of it. She doesn't know I got it all back how do I confront her about it? It hurts me to know she stole from me. |

Posted: 11 Jul 2015 01:09 PM PDT I was popular back some time in 7th grade but a popular girl was jealous of my boyfriend and she started spreading rumors about me and then everybody started hating me. I don't understand why some people take seriously some things/mistakes I did when I was 9, I dint even do that many at all mostly acerage. In my hometown also everybody hates me. I once had a fight with a girl that wanted to steal my best friend but my "best friend" didn't believe me and now she is friends with her and not many people like me there also. I don't know what I have done. I have even come to end my life many many times because I think I will end up all alone, everybody gets popular, Facebook likes, well I can get likes too by some friends but I am afraid something will happened and people will cyber bully me again. I can't take this anymore, I have some friends but the others have the worst opinion about me. Some tips please or anything? Thank you x average* not acerage |

But one thing annoys me to death: she's EXTREMELY... not smart, at all. I don't want to be mean or seem like a bad friend, bit here are some examples. Please note: she is 13 years old. Doesn't know Caitlyn Jenner Doesn't know what "stereotypes" means Doesn't know my bday Thinks supernatural means "very natural"... Doesn't know what Thailand is Thinks yolo means hi or also "gratings" as she spells it Leaves her phone lying in the backyard when she leaves the house Thinks Africa is a country Thinks her sims game froze up on her laptop because the USB she charged it with "wasn't good with sims" Doesn't know what an Apple ID is yet she has an iPhone Thinks agender and trangender are the same thing So yeah, she's nice and I do like her a lot, she is very athletic and artistic, i just... I don't mean to badmouth her or be mean but idk how to control myself when she acts like that. NOTE: I listed the things above not to be mean, but a general idea of what I mean by "unintelligent". I know I sound like a ***** but what do I do. |
| Question: How to explain depressive episodes to friends I've been avoiding? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 12:47 PM PDT I've been dealing with this at a point every year for like 7 years now. I didn't want to admit to myself I was depressed but I've come to the sad reality as the episodes have become more severe within the last 2 years, starting with when I graduated high school. I'm not a very social person to begin with but as soon as I finished high school I isolated myself from everyone like never before. I lost the few friends that I had. I didn't really understand why I was doing it then I realized it was SO draining pretending I was okay because nobody knew or would understand what I was going through. I wanted to start fresh but I neglectfully attempted to while stuck in the same toxic environment. So I'm trying to move out by September, without approval. This year, I reconnected with a family childhood friend. She called me in March and I ignored the call and she called me last month 3 times in one day and I ignored. I found out she's pregnant and I feel like a total asshole for ducking her calls. She's basically like my cousin. I planned to let her know everything once I moved but now I need to call her within the next week. How do I explain it to her? |
| Question: Is it normal to get annoyed at your friends? Posted: 11 Jul 2015 12:45 PM PDT I was just wondering if you sometimes get annoyed with your friends? I am a 16 year old girl and recently my best friend since middle school has really been annoying me. I think it's because I'm kind of mad at her. About a month ago was my birthday party, so I messaged her and told her she better come. Jokingly of course, but I meant it since my best friend is the person I should want there most out of my friends. I told her at least a month or more in advanced and gave her the exact date so she wouldn't schedule anything on it. And then she tells me, oh I can't I'm hanging out with my boyfriend. That really kind of bugged me, since about a week before that she didn't even have a boyfriend. So basically it was like he was so important, only after a week, that she couldn't come to her best friend of 5 years birthday party, because she wanted to hangout with this said boy for a few hours. She was supposed to spend the night and everything, and it really just pissed me off. And usually on the last day of school we hangout and have a sleepover to celebrate. But what is she doing? Hanging out with her boyfriend again. Now it's summer and we haven't even hung out once. And it's been like a month. But whenever I want to hangout she is busy, or is with her boyfriend. I understand that their a couple and everything, but the one day for my birthday could have waited. Yet whenever I hangout with a different friend when me and her haven't hung out for a while, she gets mad. But I kind of feel bad that maybe I'm just over reacting. I'm not jealous of her boyfriend or anything, I'm just getting the vibe that she doesn't have any time for me, yet still claims me as her best friend and I'm forcing myself to try and hangout with her, even though I kind of don't right now, so then we can get back on good terms. Would you be annoyed by this? |
| Posted: 11 Jul 2015 12:38 PM PDT So I have a friend and we ve been friends for a while... At least 8 months , we are really close . But there are 5 of us that are friends... We are all nerds .. Not the kind of nerd that wear big glasses and Braces etc. I mean we are all smart and are always the top 5 in our classes..Back to my friend... She experiences depression anxiety and self harm and I m always there for her.. I ll be the one to take the razor from her as I m very observant and I saw she had problems however my other friends didn t... My point is I m indulged in a lot of activities... Dance , gymnastics , poetry competition , singing... A lot of things.. And so I ve always been getting trophies and certificates..yesterday I received a certificate and I shared it with them. Everyone was happy and they all congratulated me... Except her..i think she s jealous..every one achieves things and when they do I m always happy for them.. She says that I always try to show her up and that not because I get things I should rub it in her face. Etc.. She put this status up too.. And what she does really hurt me because I never knew she was like that and I always support her.. Why can t I get her support.. Why can t she be happy for me ?.. If been thinking she s fake because of a few things... She gets angry when ever I get something and she always says that not because I get higher grades than her or know more about a certain things etc.It pisses her off because I always win..My big question is SHOULD I AVOID HER ? |

We go to this youth group that ages 13-18 and my friend is 14 and I'm 17... My friend meet this really nice guy named josh,he's the pastors son... They've known each other for three years and my friend got the guts to text him.. The only thing is he's 17 also.... My friend is very mature for her age or I wouldn't hang out with her... I guess what I'm ask is, is it bad for them to be talking?? For right know it's just friendly flirting but I think he wants it to be more.... Posted: 11 Jul 2015 12:32 PM PDT So me and my friend Megan are both 14 and we have been friends for like four months but like 2 weeks ago she started copying me. It all started when I got myself some new Nike trainers (them new popular ones) and I wore them to school for athletic day. Next day when I went to the skate park with her she had the same exact ones I just ignored it. Then I got in to anime and stuff and I told her which ones I like (go sick, attack on Titan) and the next day she was going on about how she loved anime (when she said it was weird) and how much she loved go sick and attack on Titan. When I asked her what it was about she didn't know. Also 2 days ago I got myself a new bag and she got herself the same exact one so I asked her why she was copying me and she denied it. And finally (this one makes me most the mad) I got myself a dress for the end of year dance (really expensive blue gown from a boutique) and I posted a pic of it on fb then two days later she posts a picture of the same dress. This gets me the most mad because your dance dress for your end of year dance has to be special to you and she just went and disrespected that. I talked to her about it but she denied it. What do I do? |

I thought of the argument as a friendly debate. but after, he became very angry at me, calling me annoying and saying that I don't have any friends and that he never wants to talk to me again. mike also has been telling people mean things about me. but when I ask what he said, they said mike told them not to tell me. mike has also gotten one of my friends to turn on me for no reason. now let's talk about me. as I stated previously, I am a 14 year old boy. I like hanging outside with my friends, riding bikes, football, baseball, etc. but after mike becoming angry, I've lost interest in all of those things. sometimes, I don't even fell like leaving my bed in the morning. I can't sleep at night and it seems that I have no energy at all anymore. i don't do anything and just feel sorry for myself. i don't know what to do anymore. is my brain just acting weird? is it even possible for someone my age to be depressed?please help. |

Posted: 11 Jul 2015 11:28 AM PDT i broke up with my girlfriend not too long ago because she put me in a ****** up situation, its a long story. and i tried to be her friend because we used to be friends in the past and she was near killing herself and i ******* saved her from both occasions and did alot for her and gave her 2 years of my life and alot of attention and she didnt give me **** in return. she gets a new circle of friends after our breakup and i just talk to her to check to see if she was doing ok because i have a good conscious even though she really put me in a hurtful situation, all i did was try to talk to her and her friends went off on me online and she joined in and went off on me to like i was some ******* stranger. i couldnt believe how she was treating me after all i had done for her. I basically only went with her because i was nice and she saw me as someone special and i felt bad for her, but the nerve off her to treat me this way after all ive done and not say thanks or even sorry really ******* pisses me off. last i talked to her i called her a whore and told her to delete my family members from her phone and i wanted no trace of her. she never replied to the messages but saw them for awhile and blocked me. i feel so hurt and betrayed, i knew not to love her but i really ******* cared about her and i, im trying to fight back my emotions and stop myself from making a different account and telling her i wish i never stopped her from overdosing on pills. |

BY ACCIDENT! IM STUPID! She closed it on me, and I yelped! She apologized and I said it was my fault, but now she is shaking in fear. We're both worried and it HURTS TO TYPE! It's bloody and covered in a light purple color! Yes! I have blood on my smartphone screen! ANYWAYS IT DOESN'T MATTER! Shoot! WHAT DO I DO? IT HURTS AS HELL! I feel a mini heartbeat on it & I'M NOT EVEN JOKING! AGUUUHHH! My friend can't DO anything! We both lost money since we spend almost 305$ ! Now all I have left is 40$! HELP! IS THIS Enough money! ?
