Im really nice its just that people annoy me so much and i want peace.recently about a week ago i got a new job and now people have been saying i think im better than everyone because i have a job. And its not true. I dont make fun of anyone who doesnt have a job. I didnt even want a job but i got one cause i needed one to save money buy myself stuff since my parents only five me $20 a month. I work hard at my new job FULL TIME .also when my dad gave me the iphone 6 for my christmas people started saying im a show off because i would take out my phone to text. What do they expect ? Me to not use it at all? Im not the only one who has an iphone 6. Also when i got my new vans , which are not expensive at all my cousin started saying that im a show off because i would wear them to gym class .whenever i being good grades home my sisters ask me for a favor and i say later i cant right now cause im tired . They say"don't think youre all that because of your good grades okay" im a 32D and im embarrased to wear clothes to school how big my breast are because then they start saying im a show off. Everyone cristizces me they give me lectures about how to gain weigt cause im too skinny when im just trying ro reach my goal. Im really tired of this.. Me and my friends (I've joined the school they learn at in 2014, have known them since about year and a half ago) made a big present for our friend who's birthday is today, but we never talked about when are we going to give it to her because it should have been obvious that we will give it to her when we go to her birthday party (right?!), which she's doing in September for some reason. But I just got a message from her thanking me for being a part of her gift, what the hell?!? They gave her the gift today without me being there and they didn't even tell me that they'll go to her house on her birthday?! I thought I was considered one of their friends already. But it doesn't seem so. What should I do? That made me really angry.. Mostly because at least I should've been there when they give her the present. Shall I ask them why they've done that or just stay silent? It hurts because I've also had other problems before with always feeling the different one and the new one between them. |

My mothers best friend came for the week well when she asked me to come back home with her and help her catch back up at work I said yes. When I said my final goodbyes to my family I wanted to change my mind but didn't cause I wanted to do the right thing. Since then I haven't stopped crying and want to go home really bad. I am a sophomore in college and have been fine at school I also worked at a church camp for 4 weeks and was fine. Does anyone know why I am so home sick? |

Posted: 27 Jul 2015 03:20 PM PDT have a very good life.. a great family, loving parents, no student loans, a nice sports car, and I'm almost done graduate school. I just had my first girlfriend about 8 months ago. We lasted 1.5 months, until I dumped her. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Part of me did not want to do it, as I really really reall liked her and was developing strong feelings for her, but the relationship just wasn't healthy, due to the way she acted and contributed (NOT talking about sex). I'm a tad shy, so this means that I struggle to talk to girls. But once I meet them, I have no problem talking to them in person or calling them on the phone. But I know for a fact that being single, the fact that I can't meet girls, and that my friends are engaged or in long-term relationships really bothers me; yes I AM Jealous! I don't feel like any girls find me attractive and just feel unwanted. I want to eventually have a family and all too. And YES! I have hobbies and keep busy, but even while doing other things or hobbies I enjoy, I tend to still feel down almost constantly about being single. I refuse to do online dating. |

I started working quiet recently, but I m really struggling socially and I just can t deal with it anymore. I ll keep it short. Ever since I moved as a kid (10 years old), I feel like something has changed in me and I don t like it. I m 19 now. All these 9 years, I ve felt like I m not myself around other people and it sucks to bad. I m getting tired of it. When I m with my cousin, or if it s family, I can be myself. But with friends, it just doesn t work, and I don t even know why. Now that I ve graduated and started working, it really sucks to STILL have this problem. I don t know what it is about me but I can tell that people see me as different, in a bad way. Different as in, not as approachable as others. I don t know if I don t have social skills, maybe I don t know how to apply them, I don t know. Maybe I m too insecure... tbh I m insecure about my voice, body, face, everything... and there s not even anything wrong with me, I hope. I don't make them as much anymore because when I turned 12 I realized that i wanted to prepare, and wait till I was 13. Well I turned 13 a couple weeks ago, and I want to do it. The thing is I know you can't force fame upon yourself so I don't want to try that hard :( but it's not just about fame, I love making videos, it's fun and I enjoy it. I have a problem though, some time in the middle of 7th grade I developed social anxiety, I already have had bad regular anxiety but this really effected my social skills. I can't order at a restaurant, I can't spend the night at my friends house, I can barely talk to my friends, and when the teachers call on me I refuse to answer...even if I know the answer. I have a camera that is pretty good besides the microphone...or I'm just not talking loud enough. Like 2 weeks ago I decided to sit down and make a video. I did but I was breathing really heavily and I was looking all around. It was really awkward. I want to be a youtuber so bad. Also any free video editing things I can use? |

We [me and my parents] had to drop one of my friends off at his house because his father was asleep (we came back from the camping trip at around 11:40 pm). When we came back to my house, I realized that my friend forgot to get his towel. I was going to tell my mom, but she assumed that it was my towel, and I couldn't argue with her. That was 2 weeks ago. Now here's my problem: I think the right thing to do is to give the towel back to him. I haven't been able to go swimming because the only time of the day when my dad isn't too lazy to take me is right before it closes when there's no one but adults there. Anyway, I wanted to go swimming at a friends house who lives less than a quarter mile away to go swimming, and he said I couldn't go because I had no one to walk there with and I would get kidnapped. I have a cellphone with 911 and both my parents on speed dial. I also live in a very friendly and safe neighborhood. I'm in junior high and my dad can't even trust me to walk less than a quarter mile without someone holding my hand and telling me to look both ways before crossing the street. This is a huge deal because my parents are boring and we almost never do anything fun. If anyone can help me that would be much appreciated. |

I brought this up to her and she proceeded to berate me and say things like "You don't have to mention your disease every other damn minute", but let me go into more detail, I recently have gotten a disease where I have lost a decent amount of my ability to walk. It hurts, a lot. And when I dont think of it and then move sometimes a " My arm/leg hurts" leaves my mouth. But with her I have listened to her complain about her parents for six hours straight. She first started talking to a friend of hers who I knew vaguely. This friend of hers goes to the same college as us and from her words learned to hate me. Then she started talking about me to my sister's ex-husband who I talk to very often, then to my own sister. I have done so much for this woman including, staying at her home to drive her to and from work while I had a dorm, effectively costing me thousands of dollars, too her to see her favorite band on her birthday, sold a book signed by a favorite actor/writer of mine to help her pay expenses to go to an event she wanted to go to,as well as spent hours baking and cooking so she could go to this event. I know this relationship will never be the same and honestly I cannot even trust her to have a facebook friend any longer. Thing is I am still very upset after I deleted her off facebook. Now what, was it worth it? |

We've never argued or anything and that is what happened recently. Anyway, the reason why we are now fighting is that I became friends with this one girl (who is a grade below me) who is like my twin. She supports me in everything and even encouraged me to date this guy. And so far, we are really happy together. However, my other "best friend" doesn't like him. She calls him names and practically says that we do not go together. (She has a boyfriend of her own so I know that this isn't jealousy.) A couple days ago I got a long message from her saying that I've changed since I'm hanging out a lot with my new friend. Her and this other guy (who was also a great friend of mine) called me a b*tch and said that I've changed for the worse. Even though, they haven't hung out with me in a while so it's not like I had anyone else to hang out with. I don't know if they did this but I'm just assuming: my car was broken into the other night and the word "b*tch" was carved into my dashboard and my car seat covers were torn. I filed a report but I didn't say that they did it. I'm just hoping it wasn't them... I want to say I'm done with being her friend. And that I really don't want to go through this anymore. I would go down to the beach in the car with her and then I would get picked up. Just yesterday she told me that they were leaving on Monday.. we were supposed to leave on Friday and I have an orthodontist appointment on Tuesday. I thought that was really rude to change the plans to the next day. I asked if they could wait until Tuesday (after my ortho appointment) and they said no? They left for the beach today (Monday). I could get a ride down to the beach (I'm only 14 I can't drive yet) but idk if I want to because I found it so rude to change the plans like that. should I just stay home or get a ride to the beach? |

It lets you talk to other people who play it and stuff. Anyway, she has been playing it non-stop. She is playing it right now. I have to say her name at least 12 times before she even looks up! I did a test to see if she pays attention by making a cake but with two different pans because I was going to stack them, and I filled them up obviously not evenly and when she looked at them not even for 3 seconds she said they were even. I really don't know what to do. I mean, I can take care of myself, but i'm worried for her. I don't think it's healthy for her. She takes care of her hygiene perfectly, but I mean her mental health. I tried to talk to her about it, but she just yells at me. What do I do? |

Posted: 27 Jul 2015 12:08 PM PDT I'm 16, going into 11th grade & so is the rest of the group.My group consisted of me, a girl A, and 3 boys, J M & C. I was originally friends w a who brought me into the group in sep 2014. She'd say things like "I don't hang out w girls" "I get along better with guys but you're the only girl I like to hang out wi" & I thought nothing of it. A and J are dating for 6 months now. Back in sep-oct M and I dated for around a month, & I dumped him bc I wasn't ready for a bf. He was really sad bc he's supposedly been in love with me 7 months before we started dating. In dec C came & started to hang w us. I still didn't wanna date but I had a huge crush on him & it seemed like he liked me. He'd always text and snapchat me for hours on end. But around March, that stopped& so did me getting invited places. I tried talking to the group about it & nobody would tell me what happened.it got worse when May-June came around. The group still hung out without me, but then I was replaced by a guy L.. He was getting invited instead of me. I figured it out, and one night I was so upset that I started cutting myself, hoping I'd die if I bled enough. I didn't get what was going on. A always said I was her girl bff , C and I...I thought we kinda had a thing, and M and I were still friends after the breakup, I'd thought he'd gotten over me. I still don't know what happened and it makes me really sad. Plus I have English w C &J next year. i just can't imagine what I could've done...? |
| Question: Best friend only wants to hang out if she can sleep over. What to do? Posted: 27 Jul 2015 11:50 AM PDT I live in a small apartment with my boyfriend. Our previous home burned down so we've had to down size significantly which means we don't have much room at all. My best friend of 2 years always wants to visit, she lives a half hour drive away, but every time she stalls until late at night then doesn't show up when I tell her she can't sleep at my apartment. It's not to be rude but there is no room for one more person to sleep here. I can invite her to show up at 10am and she won't contact me until 7pm then insist she sleeps over but the moment I says he can't she suddenly has other plans. I don't know how to handle the situation. It's extremely weird and confusing. As added detail: She actually owns a home of her own that's much nicer than mine and knows that if she slept at my place the only place for her would be in a bed with my boyfriend and I which I view as a bit inappropriate. |

There are times I don't agree with stuff like politics or news with them but when I do disagree it's like they want to hurt me. I've disagreed with them and they then call me names and unfollow me on Twitter and Instagram and then insult me in person. I feel like I can't be myself and am in a box. I am also very nice and honest with them and act like a good friend but they don't do their part. I also had one girl who tried to fight me just for talking to the teacher. I only have 2 people I consider actual friends or family. One of the two we disagree on certain stuff but we are still close like family and it doesn't effect our friendship. I remember someone I didn't know who disagreed with me on something about the news told me "f**k you I hope you don't conceive and I feel sorry for whoever is ugly enough to marry you and your kids to have you. I hope you get shot". I also have bullies who harass me every single day. People make fun that I've never had a boyfriend and am still a virgin. I try to do good for people and end up getting treated like garbage. It seems like they get pleasure out of hurting me. I've been crying all week and don't know what to do anymore. Said some things while angry and ever since I had the chance to sit in the quiet and really think about the situation, I saw that I was mad and upset over nothing. My mother (lets call her Nemi) and her co- worker (lets call him Lyon) have been friends for about a year an a half. Nemi and her sister (lets call her Celi) were both friends with Lyon but a whole situation happened where Lyon no longer wanted to be friends with Celi because he realized she was trying to control him and he had sex with her. (mind you, they are all married) So since Nemi remained friends with Lyon Celi has been upset and wanting to break up the friendship. As of three weeks Nemi has seperated from her husband. Partly because of her husband taking to women on the phone and because of her husband finding out more about the relationship between Nemi and Lyon. Nemi is already taalking about sleeping with and being in a relationship with Lyon. WHOS MARRIED. She explains that Lyons marriage is bad and at the verge of breaking. Should i just stay out of my mother, Nemi's affairs? It bothers me greatly. |

I always put other people needs above mine and not comfortable with thinking about myself when sbd's around - so I act like doing good for another is what I like/want (I was raised to do so). Now I spend more time alone because I don't feel comfortable with faking that everything's alright. I have my needs and want to care for them. But when I meet people I just act the same! I feel like when I'm with people I'm not important to myself. Why is that? I feel ashamed that I have such problem and don't like the idea with sharing it with my friends. My sister has to work on my birthday, idk about the other one yet. We don't have tons of money and it is hard to get the money for us to begin with. It interrupts time we have as a family and if we say, "We have to make dinner" or "We have to leave to run errands" they invited themselves along. It seems they won't take a no for an answer. |

I've tried the "phase out" of friendship but it just won't work (I didn't contact him for a half a year yet he keeps inviting me to come visit and stuff). I won't tell him directly that I don't want to be friends because he's so sensitive and we live in the same small town. I'd rather chew my own foot off than go to his wedding. We were hanging out one day when he told me he molested my brother (6 years younger) one day while my brother was sleeping years ago. He said touching his private parts. We've known each other since the age of 3. Honestly the one guy I could always trust. I'm in so shock now. He did so much remorse however, he said that was the main reason he wanted to kill himself. He said he was just really horny and not a pedophile. Got me so pissed off. Should I forgive him? Not sure if this makes a difference, but it was when my brother was 7 and my friend was 13. Just a FYI. But yes, I am not looking forward to renewing our friendship, despite how long we've been friends. I found it unforgivable. |

Posted: 27 Jul 2015 10:48 AM PDT I was wondering because I brought my gf to a party that my friends invited us to.We haven't been together too long so she was meeting them for the first time. Now the friends I have love to pick with me and I don't mind it, but sometimes they like to go too far with it. When that happens I usually just remove myself physical so I can be alone and calm myself because my anger makes me senseless sometimes. After I'm calm I will come back, apologize for my actions, and everything will be ok. This time when they went to far my, I did the same, and my gf got mad. I get that its rude to leave her like that and I did apologize for that, but her logic is that me removing myself is making a scene and she doesn't want that. To be honest she is kinda right but I don't just wanna sit there and take it, and she would be even more mad if I got into a fight with one of them. Her response to my solution was literally "That's bull!! Nobody does that!!" She wants me to sit there and take it when it gets too far and I don't want to. So my questions are: 1. Does anyone think its bad that I remove myself? and 2. If I cant defend myself and I cant remove myself and I don't want to just take it and let the situation get worst, what do I do? |

Posted: 27 Jul 2015 10:45 AM PDT I mean I care a lot whenever someone has tried something on me or insulted me or something, but the thing is I have these two friends that are extremely weird they both told me that they don't care what people say or do to them, and I sort of believe it, when I went to school with them they were bullied and didn't seem to care they said they liked the school n stuff, I don't understand how someone can be like that, well one of them acts gay and he would walk up to his bullies and ask them to hang out n stuff and say hi to them and stuff and he only got hullied more I started to think that he liked it( don't know if that's a gay thing or not) do you think that some people like them are lying for some reason and they actually do care or are they just that messed up the head? |
