I never felt the need to interact with others because I had nothing in common, or simply because I'd rather keep quiet. Well, I still talk to people if the need arises, but it's always serious and strictly business. No socializing. The last friend I had were when I was 10 and into high school I just felt like doing my own thing. Plus I always 0 chances of meeting a girl and still do, not that I have anything to offer or care. I have a steady job where I can just do my work and clock out, end of story. I love doing things alone because people feel like lead weights. Like I enjoy going to places alone. More freedom. More peace of mind. The problem arises from my parents who hate me because I never gave them grandchildren and because I don't like talking to people. Even though my sister gave them grandchildren they cry because the family name will die with me. Oh well. And other people have tried to ask me to hang out, but I politely turn them down. They call me weird. Why? Why is being a loner such a problem? |

Posted: 26 Jul 2015 04:06 PM PDT Before you read know that this is not me only speaking about my probs but this is probably the first time I came on a site like this to seek advise because after this I feel I have no one. My friends went on a trip for spring break while I stayed home. When they came back I felt extremely excluded from their outings. They made loads of new friends and hardly invited me. I kept it in me because I thought it would eventually fade away, but it didn't. They were my best friends for almost 3 years and they are sort of the only friends I have. After I was fed up I started to treat them the same way and so I would be super cold & straightforward. I was closest to one certain girl and I exploded when she finally came and asked me whats wrong. I told her the absolute truth about how I felt in a harsh way. She was insulted. Eventually the rest of the girls came up to me and denied that they didn't exclude me intentionally. It was understandable but yet I still felt that if they were true friends they would never even think about leaving me out in anything. Our group was exclusive. Instead they blamed me for not approaching them earlier but why would I? I was hurt and gave up because I tried to fit in more but nothing changed. They claim everything is back to normal but we haven't spoken since the confrontation, almost a month now. It's summer and not once have I seen them. That girl I was mostly close to, tho we apologised she still isn't talking to me and completely ignoring my texts. |

Posted: 26 Jul 2015 04:03 PM PDT So my father has been mentally ill since I was born, I never really knew him personally as by the time I was old enough to have memories his condition had worsened severely. I always knew something was wrong long before he was examined by a doctor. Top neurologists in the country can't diagnose him. Whats worse is they don't even know if there is a genetic link, so I have to live with the chance that maybe I'll end up like him and it is absolutely horrifying. Doctors said he would probably die in march (the brain cells are dying and shutting down the connections between different parts of the brain, so piece by piece he has become less of himself) now they believe based on new estimates he has months to live, but due to his weakened state any minor illness or infection could very likely kill him. The problem is, my friends (who are good people) often casually use phrases such as 'retarted' or 'autistic' and that burns me on the inside to hear those words used jn an insulting manner. I will be going into 10th grade this year and I really feel like I need to tell them. ( they keep asking wy I am so negative or unhaply or whatnot) and I did say my father was 'ill', however. I never told them that it was terminal. How do I explain it to them? How do I explain the pain I'm going through? I don't want them to pity me I just want them to understand. Please help me. |

She showed it to me and I was like yeah! Let's get it! And she was like "awwww I only have $20.00 so if we bought this shirt then I wouldn't have enough money to pay for the shoes and pants." So I was like "it's okay I'll buy them for you, as long as they're cheap since we'll only be wearing them once!" And so she was like "ooh lets go to Vans bc they have good shoes!!!" So we went and she wanted to buy these shoes that were $150 each. And then I said "no we should go to another store.." And she told me that she "just remembered" that she worked in "like 10 minutes, so we should just get these shoes and leave" so we got them and left. And I'm pretty sure she didn't even work that night. It's so annoying how she uses me for my money. Stuff like this has happened many times before, but I just noticed it now. What should I do |

I totally understand where he was coming from though. It's maddening to watch people go out and make friends so easily and have all types of social relationships while I'm forced to stand by and watch because being myself and a friendly person has gotten me nowhere. I have one friend and that the way it's been for a decade. I can't even make new friends or find any kind of special someone. No matter how hard I try, everyone tends to ignore me, they don't smile back, will avoid looking at me, walk faster to pass by me more quickly, block me, and so on. My desire to be included in society has been gradually replaced by a deep burning hatred of it throughout my 20s. I'm so tired of seeing people who can get a new date in minutes yet complain about being cheated on, people who complain about being used for sex, happy families who have it all, and so on. It must be nice to have had a chance in the world instead of being an invisible person, but I'll never know for sure because it really isn't me, it's YOU people. I've been so busy blaming myself for whatever shortcoming I could find and try to improve on that I've been in denial over the real problem. I hate you all. |

One member of the group and I did not like eachother and we always butted heads. One day there was a huge incident between the two of us and the group decided to take his side and stand against me even though a lot of it was his fault. I ran off and did not talk to them for a month. During the next semester, the ringleader of the group texts me saying he wants to meet me saying he hasn't seen me in a while and wants to catch up. I reminded him of that past incident and he, just like the others, tells me to forget about it. I feel like he's being manipulative. They all know he was wrong for what he did and still chose to stand against me. I leave their group and block them all on social media they get mad at me and say I pushed them away! They only cared about the feelings of the other one and not how I felt which I feel makes a very unhealthy relationship. Honestly, after other incidents between the other guy and I which he won I might add, I honestly think they never really cared about me. They just wanted someone around as something to amuse them. Posted: 26 Jul 2015 02:15 PM PDT My son and his friend took out his friends dad's sports car for a joyride while his parents were in europe. My son was driving and they ended up driving off a 200 foot cliff into a lake. Both kids were fine but had to go to the hospital with a few injuries. He has now been sitting at home doing nothing every day for the last 2 months with the exception of football practice which we make him take the bus home from. Also he has an occasional visit from a friend and girlfriend. He has already payed us back nearly $1500, and is still paying us back, but we have not been letting up at all. My question is whether or not we are being too harsh on him and if so what are some better alternatives or ways to fix this? |

Whenever she passes me going the other way she waves, usually she sees me first. Few weeks ago she was parked at a bus stop and I was coming towards her and as I checked my right mirror I noticed her waving at me, but in a slow way with a soft look at me A couple of weeks ago we met at the bus terminal on the way to the toilet and she said "hi how are you" and asked me how my disciplinary meeting went and when would I be getting transferred to her depot. When talking to me she would make eye contact without being distracted. She would then talk about her getting into trouble for speeding by management. We were talking for about 5 mins. She said she was running late and needed to use the toilet and had better go. I left to go outside and she then came out after using the toilet and on passing me to get into her bus said she had bad hay fever, again as if initiating something So few days ago she was coming towards me on her bus and she puffed her hair up but acted like she didn't see me and ignored me, so I thought i'd do the same when I see her again. So yesterday we both pulled up at bus stops on other side of the road from each other and she looked behind to see who was driving my bus and saw it was me and waved. I looked at her but ignored her. So she waved again and again I kept looking but ignored her. She then looked puzzled and waved again and I smile laughed because she kept trying and she then had a happy face and drove off. |

They never have money and I don't work, so I have to get money from my parents. They think just because my parents have money, they can rely on me to have gas to drive. That same day, my cousin asked me if I wanted to go to a bar and with no hesatation, I said yes. Also when I talk with them, after I feel depressed, nervous, confused, not as worthy and I can't show my full personality. I don't want to tell them any if this because according to their mentality, these would be signs of being butt hurt or being a little girl. Why do I feel like this? What do you guys think? She asked who and I told her. She texted the girl and said "(my name) told me your having a party today, why didn't you invite me" and of course in her response she was confused. I freaked out on my friend and she told the girl she meant to text someone from her old school. But the girl isn't gonna buy it because she put my name in the text and said I told her she was having the party. HELP!!! We are all 14 year old girls btw. |

I have no friends and I constantly get bullied because I was only a LITTLE quiet in high school. I still talked, I just used to be shy. It seems as if the quiet people are judged as freaks and weirdos. No one gives them a chance to really get to know them, it shows how judgmental teenagers are. Why? I buy a new phone, he says "My phones still better" "hahaha". Or he brags about his parents new house or cars. He buys a new computer, topping mine. Another example is when we play a game, and it takes me time to beat. Hes like "Hand me the controller" then he does it in one try and says "im so smart" " You just suck, ahhaha". Hes just so annoying. Also when we watch something or a movie, he always talks. In the middle of something dramatic, he HAS to say something like "Shes so ugly, hahahah" or when we watch youtube videos, he says in the middle of something "Hes such a fag, hahaha". He cant even wear miss match socks. When he was over, he brung miss matched socks and had me give him a pair. |

When we did the two plays in my final year of high school, she was very happy to see the other classmates but when she saw me, she didn't even speak to me and ignored me. She looked intimidated and frightened when she saw me. I'm 6'1 and I weighed 238 at the time. One time when I was passing her she got scared, squealed and walked fast. I didn't mean to scare her. She's very petite and slim. She's lucky because she can get picked up and I can't because I was so BIG. When she saw me in hallways she would have a frightened look and run. I didn't do anything to her at the time and it hurt me when she said hi to everyone else and hugged them. Most of them she was close to but not me. She ignored me most of the time. Dont get me wrong, she is a nice girl, has a wonderful personality, funny, very talented and a sweetheart from being around her. I'm so jealous of her acting. I didn't understand why she gave hugs and talked to others she was close to on the set but ignored me. I didn't do **** to her. Like when I was on my way to the bus and I saw her walking towards my direction. I said hi to her but she walked right passed me and ignored me. I saw her saying hi to my baby sister and hugging her. That hurt me so bad. Some of the people from the cast liked me, but why not her? She's good friends with my sister. I still hold a grudge to her to this day. |

He was super funny and fun to hang around but he would always give extreme wedgies to my brother who is 3 years older then me. Every time he came to visit i would always see him giving my brother wedgies. Now my brother had graduated and was in college and our friend hadn t visited for about a year. So my parents inited him up to stay for a week and this is how the story begins….HE had been home with us for the night and my parents were still at work so it was just me and him. We were hanging out watching tv and i was laying on the couch i reached out to grab my water but while doing that my white calvin klien briefs (tighty whities) were exposed he grabbed the waistband and yanked my the leg holes were now out of my shorts as he pulled harder and finally let go he chuckled as i picked it out. The next day i needed extra toothpaste so i walked into his room in search of some i dint know that he was there and then he snuck up behind me and pulled my shorts down revealing my briefs he started to laugh "You still wear these!?!?" He said. Before i could respond he grabbed my waistband and lifted me up he then brought me into the bathroom hand hung me there on a towel hook i dangled there for the night and my briefs finally ripped off the next morning.Any tips to avoid these wedgies? |
