Question: Why is it considered extremely rude to not attend a wedding that your invited to? Posted: 30 Jul 2015 07:39 PM PDT I was invited to my friend Linh's wedding today and I apparently decided to not attend. There were two reasons why I did not attend her wedding. One is because I used to like her in the past I did not want to see her get married because I feel like it would devastate me and two I already have made plans to hangout with my friend Stephen to go to the movies. My friend Stephen is going back to college in two weeks and I wanted to spend some time and hangout with him. People got mad at me and started calling me all sorts of names because I decided not to go to Linh's wedding. I don't get why this is rude. I just felt like I would be saving myself from depression if I did not see her in her wedding gown. Besides I already have a fiancee in my native country vietnam and I would just feel awkward attending the wedding without my fiancee. Why is this considered rude ? |

Posted: 30 Jul 2015 08:14 AM PDT What kind of bridesmaid dress will look good on a 5'8 flat chested girl? I know it doesn't matter what I want, it's the brides. The bride is leaning towards long dresses but she is open to shorter dresses to. Tia! |

Posted: 30 Jul 2015 01:57 AM PDT I m female, not yet married. My boyfriend bought me an engagement ring, but it s more of a "wedding band" style because it s more comfortable for everyday wear. Can I wear this as an engagement ring? Can I continue to only wear my band after our marriage? My ring has actual diamonds in a leaf- type design if that helps :) the diamonds are quite small and do not sit above the metal in the band so nothing is poking out. |

Question: How should I tell my parents I m getting married at 20? Posted: 29 Jul 2015 06:47 PM PDT So I ve been with my fiancé for more than two years now. We have a great relationship we understand and trust each other. The only problem is that my parents are VERY strict they don t let us go out I can only see him in my house and we can only go out to eat dinner and for less than two hours. I can t go to the movies with him, I can t go meet his friends, I can t go to concerts, parties nothing! We have talked with them a lot of times, they have even met his family but the situation is the same. We get frustrated and I have been depressed because of it. So a couple months ago we decided that we wanted to get married. We are engaged now but I don t know hoe to tell my parents I m concerned about the reaction they would have. Any suggestions? By the way he s 25, has a career and is financially stabled. I m going to college and have a full time job that pays more than minimum wage. |
