My best friend in the world is also the biggest hipocrit. She drives me insane, when we were little i got grounded from her for a week and I practiclly died. So I wouldn't survive with out her in my life. This problem results with me bad mouthing her to my other friends.

First off the person tells you that they're a friend. Although you hung out a few times, it stopped almost a year ago. You ask to hang out but there's always a reason why not. The person doesn't just tell you they don't want to, but instead says they'd love to but they currently have a lot going on. You try to believe them but you see the person still hanging out with other people. When it comes to needing someone for something, the person is always there and when you thank the person they respond with you were there for me.. what does it sound like.. every time asked to hangout the response is always either I'd love to but... or the excuse first followed by but don't think I don't want to

I'm a very sensitive person, but then again get mad easily so people don't walk all over me. Today I was at volleyball and I'm only a freshman. We're conditioning so we can be ready for the season. We were doing a drill that was new so I was a bit confused, and this senior was like "Throw the ball anywhere & you're right here, you're not the target.. *Laughs*" & now I just keep thinking about it and it's pissing me off. Is there anything I can say to myself or think about to "grow" a thick skin & stop being so sensitive?

My daughter is turning 13 soon and she's not slightly happy. The other day she told me she didn't choose to be born and she's not happy she was. She said she's ugly and wouldn't mind dying. Ok, I make lots of friends really easy, and I can be considered some what popular. People know me as a really funny guy and cool. However, I sit home a lot and play xbox since summer started i only did 3 things with different friends, one day i went to my friends house with my other friend. Second time i went to the movies with two of my other friends to watch ted 2, third time is when i went to my friends house, 4 of us were there we played xbox and played basketball. As you can see not that much lol . For the past three days, I have stayed home and played xbox from morning until night. I am pretty good at basketball, but have not gone to the park everyday like i used to because i'm getting really lazy. don't get me wrong, playing xbox one is really fun, but i need to do something about this. I just graduated middle school, and am going to fix this in high school? any tips ? do i have a problem ?

My ex from a year ago who's supposed to be my new friend blocked me on Instagram since her ex got mad since he was following me. He just told me she's crazy and was jealous but he still blocked me which I find it to be rude. He did say he knows I'm busy so just text or call him back later. Should I or nah? So I have about 5-6 people that I can rely on to answer me if I text them. I used to text them all the time. But I was browsing on Yahoo Answers and I came on a section of people asking about who should text first, boy or girl... and then I realized that even though all my relationships are either family or my regular old girl friends, I am never texted first. For the past week I have been experimenting with my different contacts. Most of them it has been a week and still nothing. I check my phone religiously so I have kept talking to one of my friends to keep me from getting really depressed at a message-less phone. But I am finding that NOT ONLY do these people NEVER text me first, but they never invite me anywhere either!! I go to a very small high school (500 total) and everyone either has a best friend or a solid group. I used to hang out with one girl all the time, she was in every class I had, but even she has not texted. I don't understand! Is it just summer, is it because I am not best buddies with all of these people, or do people really feel like they're annoying or needy if they text first? And help or comfort is welcome because this is making me feel awful the more I think about it. (And my apologies if apostrophes don't show up, I really do type them. It's my computer's fault.)

My "Squad" consists of 4 teenage girls including me. We all have had some relation with one another in the past but last school year we all became best friends, but lately one of my friends has been distancing herself from all of us. She constantly is s**t talking the other two to me and I can never finalize any plans with her because "Shes already with someone else" my other 2 friends are on a trip to another country so I am alone right now and I am still seeing her with people she is trash talking or with a whole bunch of boys she doesn t even know. ok so i already asked this question before but me and my friend are going to key largo and her parents already paid for everything and we are leaving in 3 days so its to late to back out. We ve been friends since 3rd grade and recently this year she started getting really weird. We went to the movies and she started leaning on me, and touching me and trying to cuddle, then she touched my friends (Let s call her Monica) boob, like she squished it and Monica is bisexual and my friend knows that Bc Monica told her a story about getting it on with another girl, and then back at her house she started cuddling with my and running my arms while watching OITNB (Like dude I m Trynna watch my TV Show y know?so then I would change the subject like say things like: Omg this is my favorite part of something) and she asked me about porn, and then recently she came to my house and asked me what porn was and I had my mums ipad and she actually though I was gonna search it up?? My mom wants me to move to Georgia from Illinois. I don't want to transfer high schools because almost all of my friends are at that school, I love my teachers, I'm supposed to be the AVID valedictorian (AVID is a college prep program, by the way, it's not in most schools), I want to graduate with the people at my current school, I planned out my sophomore year already (and my summer, but my living situation kind of came in the way of those plans), and I won't meet the same people down in Georgia. It's not like they're gonna be exactly the same. I hang out with the same people during every class period, so I have strong bonds with them and consider them to be trustworthy, close friends. I don't want to move. It took me so long to find good friends I could rely and count on. I've known them for four years and they don't want me to leave either. I've been friends with them since long before puberty and the deeper voices and whatnot. These are the only people I trust. I can't just leave and never see them again because my mom doesn't want to come back. My mom says that even if we stay out in Illinois, she's gonna switch my school.

I saw this guy today that used to text. I looked at him for a second and he was walking by looking right at me. I was inside the building but you can see outside very well. A hour later I texted him asking if that was him and he said "maybe,maybe not" and then he said "it could possibly be me I had class today" yesterday when I saw him he looked right at me but I didn't say anything about that. I got one of my friends from my circle of friends to join the sport im in. I think one of the reason she joined was because the guy she is into is in it. She and i were ok and we all used to hang out. However, she didn't enjoy the sport and stopped coming ( maybe cuz her crush did too). And now, if i try and hang out, she's just like yeah i want to.. but when i try to schedule a time, my friends sort of dont answer. They hang without me too. i didn't do anything.. but idk. i also have this weird.. competition with this other girl in our circle ( girl A ( above)'s ) best friend). If i post something online, she has to post something better or be funnier or whatever.

My family and I don't get along, everyone else fits fine, I'm depressed badly, I want to go to a summer camp but they are all to expensive, left all my friends for a new highschool, I want to run away but I have nowhere to go. Please help, I'm 14 (15 in 14 days)

Okay, this is a long story, so bear with me. I'm going into 11th grade. My sophomore year was a living hell. I lost all my friends because I went to an entirely different school and had no way of keeping in touch. I can't really make friends that easy. I'm socially awkward and I have a few problems with communicating. Anyways, later, I met a girl who, for the sake of anonymity, we'll call Lauren. Lauren was a nice girl. We could talk without any problems. She also introduced me to some of her other friends, who ended up being amazing people too. Lauren and her other friends, though, ended up fighting and stopped being friends. I felt bad for Lauren after she told me what happened and I just disconnected from her other friends, even though I didn't want to. They confronted me, after a month or two. It turned out Lauren lied. I started being friends with them again. I just didn't talk to them about the other. I got depressed, though. That's when Lauren really started getting worse. She started ignoring me and acting like your typical "dumb blonde." I tried to get her attention, but after awhile, I just gave up. She noticed when I stopped talking to her. I wanted stop being her friend because she hurt me before, but she made me feel so guilty. I felt so bad for leaving her, I just felt like I had to go back. So I did. The same thing happened. I left her again and I'm not depressed anymore, but I feel so tempted to go back. What do I do? I'm sorry for the wall of text.

So yesterday we had plans to meet up together and it turns out they had brought me there to tell me about all the ways they dislike me. They had made up a list of basically rules that I have to follow in order to keep them happy. Apparently I should shut up about my boyfriend troubles because they don't care, I don't respect them, I complain too much, I care too much about my looks, I've changed too much, I don't face my problems directly and I'm two faced. I'm definitely the more chill friend in the group and I've never thought of myself to be such a bother. It made me really uncomfortable to realize that this whole time they've practically hated me when I thought we were best friends. I told them how I feel and they said "sorry but we're going to have to agree to disagree". Despite their actions now, I don't know what I'd do without them. They're my best friends. This whole thing makes me want to just leave them now, but I'm torn. What do I do?

Tomorrow is my last day and I have made a very close friendship group. It's obvious saying we can text or face time but it's not the same. So I'm 16. Don't really go out of the house. I don't have friends. I can talk to people tho, I'm not socially retarded or anything. I'm home schooled btw. But in Dec 2013, my went to Monterrey Mexico to visit family. It was in the upper class part, not poor or anything, so no HIV or anything. My cousin invited me to some party where lots of her friends were going, so I went. Even tho I don't have a social life, I don't think im ugly. Girls have said I'm handsome. I socialized with her friends pretty well. But there was this girl who I really liked. She's attractive. We went out to the balcony and talked and really got along. Then she said if I wanted to go to one of the rooms(there were like 10) The house was pretty huge, so no one would really notice two people missing out of like 100 there. We talked more and stuff, then she told me to help her with her accent in English. I got close to tell her how to position her mouth and stuff, then we stared and started making out. And then well..yeah. And no she didn't get pregnant, and she was my age too. I've only seen her twice since. But we agreed to not really get into a serious relationship, altho we do talk to each other sometimes through our iPhones She's like really pretty. So to think me being with a girl like that, but having no social life is weird. This is her like a month before this. I blurred it obviously.

So it's been about three weeks since my friend F has spoken to me, and truthfully, I don't intend on speaking to her because of her actions. And this is ALL over something I said about MY LIFE. Break down : She and I were discussing dating and how men act/are when or should be when trying to pursue a female. At that time, I was talking to a man who didn't have a car and lived with his mother and I was going to give him a chance, but grew increasingly irritated because I had to always pick him up, and drop him off. That got tired real quickly. Anyways, I was explaining to her that I am looking for a long-term relationship and not necessarily a friend. So I felt it would be redundant of me to talk to him yet tell him "Oh let's just be friends" when that's not what I want. I told F at the point in my life, if the man does not want a LTR like I do, what would be the purpose of dating/talking? To be friends? I told her I have ENOUGH of male friends and don't need another one. I said, in my opinion, I would be wasting my time, Well somehow F gets offended and gets bent of shape and says "How do you even expect to have a good marriage? How do you expect to even be a best friend to your future husband? Why you think people get divorced let and right because they don't know their spouse and just up and get married. At least if u took ur time, u would know what u dealing with. " I understood where she was coming from, but I said, I get that but that's the point of dating. You date to see if you two are compatible, and if not, move on. Next. I am dating someone I think has potential to become more, not friend them first. I don't want to do it that way. She then proceeds to tell me that it doesn't make sense to do it that way and I cant expect to have a successful marriage that way. I then ended the conversation because she was getting on my ******* nerves and I can be a real ***** if I TRULY wanted to. So by the time I leave work, I completely forgot about our spat. Oh, not to mention she called me fake because of my opinion. So the next day, I'm coming down the stairs to take a break and I see her at the elevator, I wasn't going to say hi but I turned around and said a quick "Hi" to which she rolled her eyes and turned her head at me. At that point, I said to myself, "*****, really? Ok, you got it. I won't say **** else to you." So now, when I see her in the break room, or hall ways, I don't have nothing to say to her . I didn't appreciate the eye roll and head turn over a ******* opinion. So I ignore her. SO, am I wrong for choosing not to acknowledge her, defriend her and go on about my life?

We decided to meet up at a certain place at the beach but when we got there she couldn't meet at that place because she couldn't find the parking lot for that place. ( SHE IS REALLY BAD WITH DIRECTIONS) Then I said we should meet in the center. While getting to meet her I was texting while walking and I sprained my ankle. IS this all of her fault or mine? Later, she was shocked at what happened and then called the security guard who then called the fire department. She and her sister then got me water and then walked me to my parking lot and then she asked me to text her how I was doing.

There was this one time when I had got back to school from practice for the music for the graduation, even though I was off for the rest of the day, and then I was waiting for a guy to come with his moped, because I wanted to race with him. And while I was waiting two girls showed up and I was standing still with my Yamaha since I was waiting for the guy to come and when those two girls passed by they said "Out of gas, eh?" in a mean way, even though I didn t really care. I just ignored them and pretended that I was checking my Yamaha, and then when the guy came I drove on the sidewalk where the girls were still walking and I drove in between them at full speed and then I jumped down to the main road and went back to school with the guy I was racing with. Now, here s the thing: those two girls in particular tend to want to mess with me whenever they can and feel for it for no reason, at least not obvious. I mean I haven t done anything to them nor have I talked behind their backs despite their awful behavior and I just don t get why they want to screw with me all the time and sometimes it s a little annoying that they keep trying to annoy me.

I cannot go anywhere with my friends, I'm expected to stay at home and revise all day for a test in *2023*, it's so annoying. My parent's will not allow my friends so come over to my house, even for my birthdays, I can't go to their house and they never meet my friends which gives them a reason to not allow me to hang with them. I don't go to my best friends' houses cos they're too much but I do go to my friends' house cos they're nice and friendly. They have no trust in me or them, they think I will start doing drugs and they are so stereotypical towards the English culture. They complain I spend all day on the internet but I swear they forbidden be from leaving the house? My grades are good and I barely get detentions. They will never meet my friends because they want me to stay at home all day, by myself. They use really strong words against me which makes me think thoughts that I wouldn't usually think of. Please help!

So one night my best friend and I were talking. She was depressed and said she took some pills. Like, too many. I flipped and told my mom who called her and all. Turns out, she never took the pills she did it for attention. My attention. So a week ago (since we haven t talked since that night) she was acting all buddy buddy with me but I was pissed. I haven't heard from my girlfriend for a week and a bit. I sent her a few messages on Facebook because her phone is out of service she did not respond.... She is on her social media almost everyday....but she hasn't been on in 12 days, no post nothing , I'm really worried something happened to her, should i worry? This is making me sick if i don't hear from her i will have to somehow contact her family or friends , should i do this now? even if it has only been 13 days ?

There's lots and lots of questions on yahoo answers from shy people and pretty much all answers say '' Go talk to people and stuff n stuff'' but why should the shy person change him/herself? Why can't the confident outgoing people just include them in their group? Sort of annoys me.

This business partner/supposed friend and I had a slight disagreement over an issue. Here's the issue: Me and Tom were supposed to meet at the office Friday to meet with a client and do a sales presentation. Well 20 minutes before the 6PM appointment, Tom called me and said that the client wasn't answering his calls and that it looks like the client won't be coming. So Tom told me that he was NOT coming to the office. Well I was upset because I cleared my schedule and Tom never gave me advance notice not to show up to this appointment. So I expected Tom to show up and say hey Ryan want to get dinner or something to drink etc. Tom responded to me saying that he's not going to come to the office Friday when the client rescheduled because he not going to go over the presentation if the client isn't there. Then Tom said that on Friday nights he likes to spend time with family. Then I said the following hey Tom a few weeks ago you told me you went out with some friends on Friday and had dinner. Then he said what does my personal life have to do with business. I said Tom well you were making like you spend practically every Friday with strictly blood family. Then Tom said where are you going with this? I said Tom well you went out with friends a few weeks ago on Friday so that shouldn't be different from getting dinner with me once in a while on a Friday night. I have lost everything :/ my mom died last year of cancer and I have no other family to talk to, I don't have many friends, I have no boyfriend my ex left me last year and doesn't care and blocked me and one of my best friends fell out with me for no reason and just stopped speaking to me :/ nobody ever asks me to hangout or go anywhere when it's sunny :( my best friend lives in my street but she has a job and a boyfriend and other friends and is always busy every time I ask to do something she's busy and it upsets me so I don't even ask anymore :/ I just feel down my life has turned out like this im really lonely, all I do is talk to a few people on facebook and my life has been like this for months now im starting to loose hope , Ive tried to make new friends and I did but it turns out they were back stay bees and I couldn't trust them so I stopped hanging out with them, now all I do everyday and night is sit in my room on my own watch series, and cry, I get so sad looking at facebook everyone living their life and being happy and my life is ruined, I wish deep down my ex would care because he made a effort with me and it got me out of bed, but my friends don't really help me i don't think anyone cares.

hey guys.i had this question for a long time but i didnt know who to ask this question . so i hope you will give me good advices.here are the details. he is one of my friends. i knew him before we become friends and he treated me nicely before that but after we became friends he started to make fun of me in front of our friends and underestimate me in everything and makes me feel unimportant . he calls me an idiot all the time. i helped him in many things and i respect him but he doesnt even care. i cant remember him helping me in anything and still he calls himself a good friend. in the other word he has everything that a bad friend has.he is quite popular because he is good looking, i know i should leave him but its very hard for me cause we are in a group of five. the 3 other guys are good guys. they like me and they like him too.so if i decide to leave him i must leave the whole group. what do i do? can i do something to change the way he is?

My friend invited me to go with them, but I get motion sickness REALLY EASILY. Would there be a lot of rides that I couldn't go on? What kind of games/rides are at a fair.
