Question: Is marriage a necessity or a choice? Posted: 22 Jul 2015 09:33 PM PDT I'm a 39 year old bachelor who has never been in any relationship. Frankly I never felt like dating anyone to begin with. Though I have always been told that staying alone isn't healthy n all, I never felt it was wrong or weird all these years. Maybe because I had parents to talk to and share my grief with them imo. But after my mothers death 2 years back, I do feel quite lonely. This make me wonder whether the part of staying alone is unhealthy or not? I know it in my heart that I am better off single and dating/relationships should be avoided, but then why this sudden change of heart now? At 39, I feel old and don't really want to date anyone. And since I have always though marriage to be a choice, how and why should a choice that I never took make me feel quite alone in this world? |

Question: An inexpensive but nice place to have a wedding reception? Posted: 22 Jul 2015 03:40 PM PDT I've been looking online a lot but can't seem to find anything, anyone know a nice place to have a reception that's not too expensive? |
Posted: 22 Jul 2015 03:08 PM PDT Been wondering this for a while. Etiquette says not to mention gifts with the wedding invite, but today with online registries how do you communicate to people that you have one set up? |
Posted: 22 Jul 2015 02:18 PM PDT My Fiance and I are getting married next year. We have everything we need already and would prefer people make a donation to a charity rather than buy us a present. Would it be ok to let people know this with a little insert in the invitations? Should we say something on the Save the Dates? I don't plan on having a bridal shower or any other "pre wedding parties". |
